BENJAMIN: Iker, the prize for this fight is $250,000.

IKER: The prize is the least of it, all I want is to defeat that imbecile Hugo. (he said, putting on his protective gear)

BENJAMIN: I know, I know you're not doing this for money.

IKER: Exactly, boxing is my passion, it excites me and I feel alive every time I step into the ring.

After that short conversation, they both left the locker room and headed to the fight venue. Iker greeted the spectators and stepped into the ring, while Benjamin went to the trainers' area. Then Iker's opponent arrogantly stepped into the ring, the announcer gave the relevant instructions and then gave way to the fight. As soon as the fight started, Hugo lunged at Iker, punching him in the face, abdomen, and right side of the ribs, these blows were blocked by Iker who returned the blows accurately, the fight continued until the end of the first round giving Iker the advantage.

At the end of the first round, each went to his corner to receive instructions from their trainers and drink water. The second round began and Iker had the advantage, but halfway through the fight, the man began to feel dizzy and with blurred vision, for this reason his concentration and performance in the fight decreased and this condition was exploited by his opponent, who hit him hard and in vital points. At the end of the second round, the fight was tied and Iker was quite injured and with his face bleeding.

BENJAMIN: What's wrong Iker, why did you let yourself get hit like that? (he asked while cleaning his face)

IKER: I don't feel well, I feel dizzy and my vision is blurry. (he expressed while shaking his head)

BENJAMIN: Do you want me to stop the fight?

IKER: No, I'll continue.

BENJAMIN: If you feel bad, it's better to stop the fight and have a doctor check you out.

IKER: If we suspend the fight, that idiot will win without a battle. I will give him a fight to the end.

BENJAMIN: I understand, but your health is more important. Do you have any other symptoms?

The third round began and Iker defended himself against Hugo's attacks, taking the lead in the fight again, however, Iker felt even dizzier and his vision blurred completely, being blind he could not see his opponent who pounced on him hitting him mercilessly in the face, due to the blows and his blindness, Iker fell to the ground and Hugo took the opportunity to hit him with dementia. The referee gave the order to stop the fight but Hugo ignoring this, continued to hit Iker who tried to defend himself but feeling his body without strength could not do much. The referee seeing that Hugo did not stop gave the order for them to enter to separate them, when they finally did, Iker was unconscious on the floor, Benjamin immediately checked his breathing and pulse noting that he was not breathing and worse still he could not feel the pulse, the paramedics entered the ring to check Iker and reported that he had died. Benjamin knowing this, went against Hugo to blows.

BENJAMIN: You damned wretch, you did something to Iker so he would lose the fight...

HUGO: I didn't do anything outside the ring, he's dead because he's useless, he hadn't faced someone like me.

The spectators were shocked by the news of the death of Iker Durango, the boxer in the last 3 years had not lost any fight. However, today he seemed to be fighting a beginner.

"Hugo Mena murdered Iker because he was better than him"

"That wretch took advantage of the fight to murder Iker"

"Let the organizers investigate Iker's death in depth"

Those and more comments were heard in the place, all supporting Iker and going against Hugo. Benjamin told the paramedics the symptoms that Iker had told him he had, so they immediately took him to the hospital to do the autopsy and clarify the death of the young boxer.

With this news, the police and organizers of the fight began an investigation to find those responsible for the fact. When reviewing the security cameras of the fight venue, they realized that Iker's water bottle was manipulated by a subject, when capturing the man, he confessed that Hugo and his coach were the ones who hired him to administer the drug to the man's water, since they would not allow him to win the fight and they were also jealous of his success. With this confession, both were investigated finding them guilty, so they were banned for life from the world of boxing and taken to prison for premeditated murder. While in prison, Iker's followers beat them every day and left them without food, after 15 days, both died in prison due to the blows received.

On the other hand, after the autopsy, Iker's body was handed over to his family and they had him in a burning chamber in the city stadium so that all his followers could say goodbye to him. There were thousands of people who came to the stadium to give the last farewell to the boxer of the town, many came from other cities and even countries to say goodbye, Benjamin was devastated by what happened to his friend, he could not conceive that those bastards had plotted all that to kill Iker, he also reproached himself for not having convinced his friend to stop the fight, he recriminated himself for not being able to avoid that fact. When he left the bathroom, he met a man who was looking at him seriously.

ARIEL: Who the hell are you and what are you doing here? (He said to sit on the stretcher)

Today Ariel was being discharged, so Bruno's secretary went to pick him up to take him to his office.
