"I just can't understand mom...why are you still waiting for someone who doesn't deserve you? Why wait for someone who will never wait for you? The man who Even forgot his own family...(crying) why you? Don't you have me?"

"I am sorry Trisha but I… I love you, and I am so lucky to have a daughter like you in my life but...he still is your dad(sobbing)and he loves you-"

"For god's sake mom... Stop lying both to me and yourself! Just look at yourself? He was never there when we needed him... never!

"Trisha ! He loves you... okay? Just forget about me... he is just..."

"What just... can't find any explanation...stop cleaning his mess mom... I will never regard him as ...what he never was…

She left from there to her hospital. She was a victim of human's relationship complexity.

Trisha continues her emotionally charged life, pouring herself into work at the hospital, which is part of a prestigious chain owned by billionaire CEO Matthias Williams. Matthias arrives unannounced to oversee operations after receiving complaints about staff morale. While making his rounds, he witnesses Trisha fearlessly confronting a senior surgeon for mistreating a nurse.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?" asked a man with authority in his voice.Trisha looked over just to find a handsome man standing in front of her. Before she could do something everyone around her bowed and greeted the man.

Ohh nothing sir! Actually we were talking on a disagreement. Right sister? He eyed her.

"Ye…yes s…sir .he is…co…c.correct."she was trembling.

"Stop lying lily.sir this man...Mr.avon mistreated her and I was confronting him."

"Liam..is this how you were managing things?"

"I am sorry sir "

"I will see you in my cabin now, Mr. Avon. Thank you miss-?"

" Trisha.cardio department . Thank you sir now I must take my leave. The patients must be waiting. Have a good day sir." Then she bows and left.

Matthias is intrigued by Trisha's courage and sharp intellect. Her confidence and no-nonsense attitude set her apart from others who fawn over him because of his wealth and status.

However, Trisha sees Matthias as just another entitled man who thinks he can control everything with money. She brushes him off coldly when he tries to introduce himself, sparking his curiosity even more.

Later that evening, Matthias overhears Trisha comforting a young girl whose father has abandoned their family. Her words, filled with pain and empathy, hint at her own unresolved trauma.

*will they fall for eachother? Stay tuned...:)*

Episode 2: Clashing Worlds

Hospital conference room. Trisha is standing before a group of doctors and nurses, passionately addressing a recent policy change initiated by Matthias.

Trisha: (pointing at a document) "This new policy limits the time we can spend with patients. Are we treating humans or just trying to move numbers? Because if it's the latter, I’m afraid I’m in the wrong place."

Matthias: (leaning back in his chair, calm) "Dr. Trisha, the goal is efficiency, not negligence. We’re dealing with limited resources, and policies like these ensure no patient is ignored."

Trisha: (snapping) "Ignored? By reducing care to five-minute conversations? Patients need to be heard, not rushed out the door like some assembly line product."

Matthias: (steepling his fingers) "And if you exhaust the team with endless consultations, how will we treat the next hundred patients? Sometimes, compromise is necessary."

Trisha: (crossing her arms) "Compromise shouldn’t come at the expense of compassion. Maybe you'd understand that if you actually spent time with patients instead of analyzing spreadsheets."

The room falls silent. Matthias’s jaw tightens, but he doesn’t respond immediately. Trisha gathers her things and storms out.

The hospital is bustling. A VIP patient has just gone into cardiac arrest during surgery due to a power failure. Trisha rushes into the operating room, taking charge.

Nurse: "The generator isn’t kicking in, Dr. Trisha! What do we do?"

Trisha: (grabbing a manual resuscitator) "We don’t wait. Start compressions—NOW. Someone get the portable defibrillator!"

Matthias arrives in the observation area, watching the chaos below. He sees Trisha commanding the team with unwavering confidence.

Trisha: "Clear!" She administers a shock, her voice steady despite the tension. "Again. Let’s not lose this one, people!"

The monitors beep as the patient’s heart stabilizes. The room exhales collectively. Trisha pulls off her gloves, her face calm but exhausted.

Later, Matthias catches her in the hallway.

Matthias: "Dr. Trisha." She turns, her expression wary. "You were incredible in there. That was… extraordinary."

Trisha: (shrugging) "It’s my job."

Matthias: "You don’t give yourself enough credit. You saved a life tonight."

Trisha: (coldly) "A life that could’ve been lost because of faulty management. Maybe focus on fixing that instead of handing out compliments."

Matthias: (sighs) "You’re relentless, aren’t you?"

Trisha: "When lives are at stake? Always." She walks away, leaving Matthias both impressed and frustrated.

Hospital charity gala. Trisha is reluctantly attending, dressed in a simple black dress. Matthias, looking polished in a tailored suit, approaches her at the bar.

Matthias: "Didn’t expect to see you here."

Trisha: (sipping her drink) "Obligation. You?"

Matthias: (smiling) "Same. Though it’s nice to see a familiar face."

Trisha: "Is it? I thought you’d prefer the company of people who don’t question your every decision."

Matthias: (chuckling) "You’re not wrong. But challenging me seems to be your favorite pastime."

Trisha: (raising an eyebrow) "You make it easy."

They fall into a surprisingly comfortable silence. Matthias takes a sip of his drink, then speaks softly.

Matthias: "You know, I lost my father when I was young. Not in the way you think—he left. Started a new family. For years, I blamed myself for not being enough to make him stay."

Trisha: (startled, but masking it) "Why are you telling me this?"

Matthias: "Because I see that anger in you. And I know how heavy it is to carry."

Trisha: (after a pause) "It’s not anger. It’s… betrayal. I don’t know how my mother still defends him after everything."

Matthias: "Maybe it’s her way of holding onto hope. People do strange things to protect themselves."

Trisha: (looking away) "Hope is a luxury some of us can’t afford."

Matthias: "Maybe. But it doesn’t mean it’s not worth trying." He watches her carefully. "For what it’s worth, I think you’re remarkable, Trisha. Even when you’re tearing me apart."

Trisha: (softly) "Goodnight, Mr. Williams."

She leaves, but this time, there’s no hostility in her tone—just a hint of something Matthias can’t quite place.

Episode 3: Healing Wounds and New Threats

Trisha’s office. She’s reading a patient’s file when Matthias enters. This time, he looks more serious than usual.

Matthias: "Dr. Trisha, I need a moment."

Trisha: (without looking up) "If it’s another one of your grand business strategies—"

Matthias: "It’s about your mother."

Trisha immediately stiffens, her eyes darting up to meet his.

Trisha: (sharply) "What about her?"

Matthias: "I heard she was admitted last night. I just wanted to check if there’s anything you need."

Trisha: (narrowing her eyes) "And why would you care?"

Matthias: (firmly) "Because whether you believe it or not, I care about you. And I know what it’s like to feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world alone."

Trisha falters at his words, momentarily speechless. She looks away, pretending to refocus on the file in front of her.

Trisha: (softly) "She’s stable. For now."

Matthias: "And you? Are you stable?"

Trisha: (scoffs, but there’s a hint of a smile) "Don’t play therapist, Mr. Williams. You’re better at spreadsheets than emotions."

Matthias: (grinning) "You’d be surprised. Let me know if you need anything."

He turns to leave but pauses at the door.

Matthias: "And, Trisha? You don’t always have to do this alone."

Later that day, in the hospital boardroom, Matthias is in a heated discussion with a man in his mid-40s—Dr. Raymond Harris, the hospital’s chief of surgery. Dr. Harris is a manipulative and egotistical figure who resents Trisha’s rising prominence.

Dr. Harris: (pacing) "With all due respect, Mr. Williams, this hospital needs stability, not chaos. Dr. Trisha’s reckless behavior might make her a hero in the ER, but it’s jeopardizing the hospital’s reputation."

Matthias: (leaning back, unimpressed) "Reckless? From what I’ve seen, she’s one of the most competent doctors here."

Dr. Harris: (smirking) "Competence doesn’t excuse insubordination. She refuses to follow protocols and undermines authority at every turn. This hospital isn’t a stage for personal drama."

Matthias: (coldly) "What you call ‘drama,’ I call saving lives. If Trisha challenges you, maybe it’s because your ‘protocols’ need re-evaluating."

Dr. Harris: (gritting his teeth) "Mark my words, Mr. Williams. If you let her continue unchecked, it’ll cost us—financially and professionally."

Dr. Harris storms out, leaving Matthias deep in thought.

That evening, Trisha’s mother’s condition worsens. She’s rushed into emergency surgery. Trisha is pacing in the waiting area when Matthias arrives, his expression calm but concerned.

Matthias: "How is she?"

Trisha: (not looking at him) "They’re operating. I don’t know if she’s strong enough."

Her voice cracks, and Matthias steps closer, his presence grounding her.

Matthias: "She’ll pull through. She has you fighting for her."

Trisha: (bitterly) "I’ve been fighting my whole life. For her. For myself. For patients who deserve better than this broken system. I’m tired, Matthias."

Matthias reaches out, his hand brushing her shoulder.

Matthias: "You don’t have to do this alone anymore, Trisha."

Before she can respond, Dr. Harris enters, his tone smug.

Dr. Harris: "Quite the touching scene. But maybe if Dr. Trisha spent more time following proper procedures and less time playing hero, we wouldn’t be in this mess."

Trisha: (whirling around) "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

Dr. Harris: (mocking) "I mean that your insistence on handling things your way is what’s causing chaos in this hospital. Perhaps if you listened for once, your patients—and your mother—wouldn’t suffer."

Matthias steps between them, his voice icy.

Matthias: "Enough, Dr. Harris. You’re out of line."

Dr. Harris: (sneering) "Am I? Because last I checked, Mr. Williams, you’re a businessman, not a doctor. Maybe stay in your lane."

Matthias: (smirking) "My lane is ensuring this hospital succeeds. And that starts with supporting people who actually care about patients—unlike you."

Dr. Harris storms out, but his lingering glare promises trouble.

Trisha’s mother’s surgery is successful, but Trisha is emotionally drained. She sits in the hospital garden, staring at the stars. Matthias finds her there.

Matthias: "How’s your mom?"

Trisha: (smiling faintly) "Stable. For now. The surgery went well."

Matthias: (sitting beside her) "And you? How are you holding up?"

Trisha: (exhales deeply) "I don’t know. Everything feels like a battle—at work, at home. I’m tired of fighting."

Matthias: "Then stop trying to fight alone."

Trisha: (looks at him, her voice soft) "Why do you keep showing up for me? What do you want, Matthias?"

Matthias: (meets her gaze) "I don’t want anything. I just… care. More than I probably should."

Trisha looks away, her walls cracking but not fully down.

Trisha: "You’re relentless, you know that?"

Matthias: (smiling) "And you’re stubborn. Guess that makes us even."

They share a quiet laugh. But as they sit together, unseen in the shadows, Dr. Harris watches from a distance, his expression dark and calculating.

The next morning, Trisha is called into a disciplinary meeting. Dr. Harris is leading the charge, presenting fabricated evidence of negligence in one of her recent cases. Matthias arrives mid-meeting, catching the tail end of Dr. Harris’s accusations.

Dr. Harris: "Dr. Trisha’s insubordination and refusal to follow protocol have jeopardized patient safety. I recommend immediate suspension."

Trisha: (furious) "This is absurd! You’re twisting facts to cover your own incompetence."

Matthias: (calm but deadly) "Enough. This meeting is over. Dr. Trisha isn’t going anywhere."

Dr. Harris: (mocking) "Protecting your favorite again, Mr. Williams? How noble."

Matthias: (smirking) "Call it what you want, Harris. But if I find out you’ve falsified even a shred of evidence, you’ll be the one looking for a new job."

Dr. Harris glares but doesn’t argue. He leaves, seething with resentment.

Later that night, Trisha finds Matthias in his office.

Trisha: (quietly) "Thank you… for standing up for me."

Matthias: (looks up, smiling) "Always."

Trisha: (after a pause) "I don’t know if I can trust anyone fully… but maybe I can start trying. With you."

Matthias: (softly) "That’s all I ask."

Their eyes meet, a silent promise passing between them. But as the camera pans out, Dr. Harris is seen meeting with an unknown figure, plotting his next move against them.
