Scene: Aarav closes his phone, heart racing. Across the city, Rhea smiles to herself, her fingers lingering over the last text. The stars outside seem brighter tonight, as if blessing the beginning of something magical.
And when they met ...
The café was dimly lit, a warm amber glow bouncing off the walls. The soft hum of a romantic melody played in the background, but Aarav heard none of it. His entire world narrowed to one thing-Rhea.
She walked in like a dream, her pink dress hugging her curves just right. The sleeveless top revealed her smooth, glowing skin, and her hair fell in cascading waves, teasing her bare shoulders with every step. Aarav felt the heat rise in his chest.
Aarav
(in his thoughts): "How can someone look like this? She's dangerous... that black mole on her neck-it's not just a mark. It's a temptation, and I want to give in."
His gaze roamed over her, lingering on her lips, the delicate arch of her collarbone, and the way her dress swayed with her every movement. She was an enigma, and Aarav was utterly and helplessly captivated.
Rhea finally reached the table, her lips curving into a smile that could melt glaciers.
Rhea
Hi Aarav... here I am.
Aarav
(swallowing hard, in his thoughts): Those lips... God, I want to taste them. Are they as soft as they look? Would they melt against mine? And her hair... I want to bury my face in it, breathe her in, and lose myself in her scent.
Rhea
(leaning closer): Hey Aarav, are you even here? Or am I just talking to myself?
Aarav
(snapping out of his trance): No, no! I was just... somewhere else.
Rhea
(pouting slightly)That's not fair, Aaru. I'm here, all dressed up for you, and you're somewhere else? What's going on?
Aarav
(staring at her, his voice dropping) Aaru... you called me Aaru. Do you what you're doing to me?
Rhea
(smirking): Doing to you? What do you mean?
Aarav
Aarav (in his thoughts)Her voice is silk, her lips are temptation, and her body... every curve is a sin I want to commit. God, save me because I'm on fire, and she's the only one who can quench it.
Rhea
(tilting her head)Why are you staring at me like that?
Aarav
(leaning forward slightly)Do you really want to know?
Rhea
(arching a brow, her voice dropping to a whisper): "Try me."
Aarav
(his voice low and husky)You're driving me insane, Rhea. That dress, your lips, your scent... you're a storm, and I want to drown in you.
Rhea
(blushing but holding his gaze)... "Aarav..."
Aarav
Her voice faltered, and for the first time, she looked vulnerable. Aarav's heart raced as he saw the blush creeping up her cheeks, her lips parting slightly in surprise.
Aarav
Aarav (in his thoughts)This is torture. She's so close, yet I can't touch her. Those soft, pink lips... they're right there, and all I can do is imagine how they'd feel against mine.
Rhea tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her fingers brushing her neck, and Aarav's eyes followed the motion, his throat going dry.
Rhea
(playfully)If you're done staring, maybe we can order something? Or should I just let you keep dreaming?
Aarav
(smirking)You're the only thing I need, Rhea. Everything else can wait.
Rhea's breath hitched as his words sank in. The air between them grew thick with tension, the café fading away as they were pulled into their own world.
Rhea
(breaking the silence, her voice soft): "Aarav... you're impossible."
Aarav
(leaning back, his eyes never leaving hers).....And you're irresistible.
As Aarav signaled the waiter, his fingers brushed hers ever so slightly. It was a fleeting touch, but it sent shivers down her spine. The game had just begun, and both of them knew it.
