Once there were three men named Shao rank D, Horace rank D and Julian rank C who worked in a detective agency. one day they went to their detective agency and accidentally stumbled into a room where an S rank mission was being discussed. The people there thought the three were the detectives they were waiting for. The discussion stopped and everyone looked at them, thinking they are the detectives they stopped and welcomed the three. Shao and Horace wanted to clear the misunderstanding but Julian had a plan of his own. Julian confidently stepped up and said: “yes ladies and gentlemen we are the detectives”. Suddenly the gate keeper entered and took them away saying that they are just some cheap liars but Julian kept telling them that they were the real detectives. The man who was going to hire them said: “if you really are the detectives and you can prove it then I will give you a chance and hire you”. The three of them got scared but Julian hinted at them to keep calm as he had a plan. Then the employer named Absalom checked their papers so Julian swiftly said: “sir do you like these fake papers I made them myself”. Absalom was impressed and was talking about the mission with the trio when Julian told them about a very important mission in their agency which was solved by he and his team. Now Absalom was sure that Julian was not lying. After sometime Absalom took the three with him and explained the mission. Everyday on his huge corn surrounded farm animals and workers were going missing. And the trio had to find out how they were going missing. So, they set camp near the farm and for a few days waited for the kidnapper to come but they could not find a single clue, but when they least expected it a huge thunder was heard and a few sheep and two maids were kidnapped. Same thing happened for the next few days. After thinking a lot Julian came up with a plan, all the people in the farm including Absalom and all the gathered animals were put in one place. Men and women were sitting in each corner with a lantern. Again, a thunder struck, fear stroked all across the place and suddenly a huge figure like that of a giant with a cane in hand came. It stroked one of the animals and disappeared with it. None of the workers were able to figure out what happened. Julian was dumbstruck. Next day the same happened. After this continued for a few days the workers wanted to leave the job as they were too scared to continue. Except one old couple who were hired by the previous owner, a kind old man named Edward. He used to take in homeless people and help them. After some investigation Julian found one out among the people was a butcher with a cane similar to the huge shadow.

Julian asked Absalom about him, at first he hesitated but then he said: “the butchers name was John. He used to buy animals from Edward. After I bought the farm, I stopped giving him his share. After sometime he and his family were found dead”. While saying this Absalom seemed awfully suspicious. So, Shao asked him if he was really telling the truth and Absalom said yes. The next few days the butcher kept taking animals and people. Now day by day more workers were quitting. Absalom started doubting if Julian, Horace and Shao really were detectives. Julian started digging deeper for information. One piece of information caught his eye, could John, his wife and daughter be murdered. Julian went to the butcher’s house. As per what his neighbors had said Johns body was found dead on the floor with blood all over it. While returning they brought an exorcist named Zem with them to the farm. She inspected the farm and the butchers house. Zem first hand witnessed the butcher’s arrival. She said: “the large shadow was indeed the butchers and he wanted revenge from someone, someone on this farm, someone named Absalom”. Now it was clear that Absalom had done something to John. This time when Julian asked Absalom he was ready to answer. He said: “some part of the farm belonged to John. After the previous owner’s death John came to redeem his part of the farm but I stopped him saying that I am the new owner and I decide who the farm belongs to. John came every day, but one day he said he was going to call the police. So, I had to send assassins after him in order to save myself. The assassins killed him and his family. After sometime the neighbors came to his house and were shocked at the sight of three dead bodies. They buried the bodies after this”. Hearing this Julian quickly went to the graveyard to dig out their bodies to inspect them but Horace stopped him saying that this might anger the butcher.Julian persisted and finally when he opened the coffins they were shocked to see there were no dead bodies of the butcher’s wife and daughter. There Julian knew there was something else to the story. He quickly went to Absalom and asked him about it, Absalom smiled and something hit them in the head and they blacked out. After sometime Shao woke up to find himself in a cell tied with chains with Julian and Horace besides him. After waking the rest up Julian started to panic while remembering what happened. He under stood that Absalom only wanted them to get rid of the butcher’s soul but now that they found out about his secret Absalom wanted to kill them. Julian told this to Shao and Horace, hearing this Horace became angry and said: “all of us got into this mess because of you, didn’t we tell you not to lie and not to dig up that grave.
