(The ball flies off course and hits a kabir sitting on a bench, reading a book.)

kabir : (startled, rubbing his head) "Ow! What the—"

(He glares at the group. The isha, realizing what happened, runs toward him, looking flustered.)

isha: (nervous smile) "Oh no, I'm so sorry! Are you okay? I didn’t mean to—"

kabir : (coldly, standing up) "Watch where you’re kicking next time."

(He brushes past her and walks away without another word.)

isha: (calling out) "Hey, I said sorry! Rude much?"

(Her friends call her back, and she huffs, crossing her arms.)

isha: (to herself) "What's his problem?"

Isha: ( in mind) he doesn't have any manner may be? how can someone be his friend.

{{The Classroom

The next day, the classroom is lively with students chatting. The Isha is slouched at her desk, doodling flowers on the back of her notebook. The teacher enters, quieting the noise.}}

Teacher: "Good morning, class. Today we have a new student joining us. Everyone, please welcome him."

(The kabir from the park steps into the classroom. His expression is calm but clearly uninterested. The Isha ’s jaw drops in disbelief.)

Isha : (muttering to herself) "No way… It’s him! Why him of all people?"

Teacher: "This is [kabir 's Name]. He’ll be sitting right here."

(The teacher points to the empty seat beside the Isha . The kabir ’s expression darkens, and he glances at her, instantly recognizing her.)

kabir : (to himself, groaning) "Why, God? Why me?"

Isha : (jumps to her feet, waving her hands) "No! Sir, I can’t sit with him! Anyone but him!"

Teacher: (frowning) "Sit down this instant, [Isha ’s Name]. You’re not in charge of the seating arrangement. Now, behave yourself!"

(The class erupts into whispers and giggles. Embarrassed, the Isha sits down, crossing her arms with a pout. The kabir sighs and walks to the seat, mumbling loudly enough for her to hear.)

kabir : "Oh no. Why, God? What did I do to deserve this?"

(He drops his bag on the floor and slumps into the chair next to her. The Isha glares at him, whispering under her breath.)

Isha : "You’re not exactly my dream desk partner either, you know."

kabir : (without looking at her) "Good. Let’s just survive this quietly."

(The teacher starts the lesson, but the tension between them is evident. The Isha occasionally throws side glances at him, smirking as she hatches her next prank.)

rivals of each other ...

( A busy school hallway with students chatting and lockers clanging. Isha overhears Kabir talking to his friends and storms in.)

Kabir (leaning casually against the lockers, smirking):

"Honestly, I don’t know how I’m supposed to sit next to someone like her. She’s a walking disaster—messy, loud, and always acting like a clown."

Aaravi (chuckling):

"She’s kind of funny, though. At least you won’t be bored."

Kabir (rolling his eyes):

"Funny? More like annoying. I’d take boredom over chaos any day."

(From behind them, Isha steps forward, her face flushed with anger.)

Isha (crossing her arms, voice sharp):

"Wow, Kabir. Didn’t realize you were such an expert on my personality."

(Kabir’s smirk falters as he notices her.)

Kabir (quickly):

"Isha... I didn’t mean—"

Isha (cutting him off):

"Don’t bother. I heard everything. If you have such a problem with me, why not say it to my face instead of acting all high and mighty with your friends?"

Jack (awkwardly):

"Uh, we should probably go..." (He nudges Aaravi, and they shuffle away.)

Kabir (defensive):

"I wasn’t trying to be mean. I was just... frustrated, okay? You’re always so loud and carefree—it’s distracting."

Isha (snapping back):

"And that’s my fault? Maybe if you didn’t act like you’re too good for everyone, we wouldn’t have this problem!"

(Kabir looks taken aback, his confident facade slipping slightly.)

Kabir (hesitating):

"I didn’t mean it like that. I just... I’m not used to people like you."

Isha (angrily):

"People like me? You mean people who don’t walk around with a stick up their—" (She stops herself, taking a deep breath.)

"You know what? Forget it. I’m done trying to be nice to someone who doesn’t even know how to respect others."

(She turns to leave, her eyes glistening, but she keeps her head high. Kabir watches her go, guilt flashing across his face.)

Kabir (softly, to himself):

"Maybe I went too far..."

(The scene ends with Kabir standing alone in the hallway, his usual confidence replaced by uncertainty.)

...****************...

( The school noticeboard, where the exam results have just been posted. A group of students crowds around, buzzing with excitement and chatter.)

Student 1 (pointing):

"Kabir topped the class again! First place, no surprise there."

Student 2 (reading further):

"Hey, look at Isha! She moved up to 19th! She was 22nd last time, right?"

(Isha squeezes through the crowd to look at the rankings. Her face lights up as she spots her name.)

Isha (grinning):

"Nineteenth! Yes! I’m finally improving!"

(Her friends Riya and Arjun appear beside her, both smiling.)

Riya (excitedly):

"See? I told you all that late-night studying would pay off!"

Arjun (teasing):

"Don’t let it get to your head. You’re still far behind me."

Isha (playfully shoving him):

"Rank 19 is a big deal for me! At least I’m moving up."

(Isha’s eyes drift to the top of the list where Kabir’s name is boldly written. She notices him standing at the back of the group, quietly observing. His calm, detached demeanor makes her roll her eyes.)

Isha (muttering):

"And of course, Mr. Perfect is at the top. Again."

(Kabir glances at her and raises an eyebrow but says nothing. He walks away, leaving Isha feeling a mix of irritation and motivation.)

---

(Later that afternoon, Isha and her friends head to a cozy café near the school to celebrate.)

Riya (raising her milkshake):

"A toast to Isha, climbing the ranks one step at a time!"

Arjun (grinning):

"Yeah, only 18 more to go before you catch up to Kabir!"

Isha (laughing):

"Don’t remind me! But seriously, I’m happy. It feels good to see progress, even if it’s small."

Riya (nodding):

"That’s the spirit. It’s about improving at your own pace. Forget Kabir and his robot brain."

Arjun (teasing):

"Yeah, and who needs to top the class when you’ve got personality?"

Isha (smirking):

"Exactly! Kabir can keep his perfect scores. I’ll stick with being awesome."

(They all laugh, but Isha’s mind briefly flashes back to Kabir’s quiet confidence. Instead of feeling competitive, she feels a strange urge to understand him better.)

(The scene ends with the friends clinking their glasses, Isha smiling brightly, and a subtle hint of curiosity about Kabir lingering in her mind.)

A Group Project Brings Tension and Understanding

(The classroom. The teacher has just assigned a group project, and fate intervenes—Kabir and Isha are paired together. Isha’s friends Riya and Arjun are placed in a different group.)

Teacher (announcing):

"For this project, you’ll be working in pairs. I’ve already assigned the partners, so check the list on the board. The deadline is next Friday."

(Isha looks up and groans when she sees her name next to Kabir’s.)

Isha (to herself):

"Of course. Just my luck."

(Riya leans over, smirking.)

Riya (whispering):

"Looks like the universe really wants you two to bond."

Isha (rolling her eyes):

"Bond? More like survive without strangling him."

(Kabir glances over at her, catching her muttering. He approaches her desk, his expression unreadable.)

Kabir (calmly):

"We should figure out when to start the project."

Isha (snapping slightly):

"Do we have to? Can’t we just divide the work and do it separately?"

Kabir (crossing his arms):

"That’s not how group projects work. Unless you’re planning to fail."

(Isha glares at him, but she knows he’s right. She lets out a frustrated sigh.)

Isha (reluctantly):

"Fine. Library after school?"

Kabir (nodding):

"Works for me. Don’t be late."

(He walks away, leaving Isha fuming.)

(Later that day, in the school library.)

(Kabir is already seated at a table, his notes neatly spread out. Isha arrives a few minutes late, her bag slightly disorganized, and plops down across from him.)

Isha (casually):

"Sorry I’m late. Got held up."

Kabir (glancing at his watch):

"Five minutes late, actually."

Isha (irritated):

"Relax, Mr. Punctual. It’s not the end of the world."

(They begin working, but their differences quickly become apparent. Isha is brainstorming ideas, while Kabir focuses on structure and precision.)

Isha (excitedly):

"What if we make the presentation more creative? Maybe add some visuals and storytelling?"

Kabir (shaking his head):

"That’s unnecessary. We should stick to facts and analysis. Creativity isn’t the point."

Isha (challenging):

"Maybe not for you, but it’ll make our project stand out. Not everything has to be dull and robotic, you know."

(Kabir pauses, slightly taken aback by her comment. He looks at her, noticing her passion.)

Kabir (after a moment):

"Fine. Let’s hear your idea. But it better be good."

(Isha smiles triumphantly and begins sketching out her concept. As they work together, Kabir starts to see that Isha’s creative approach actually adds value, while Isha begrudgingly admits that Kabir’s structured thinking keeps things on track.)

(By the end of the session, their dynamic feels slightly less tense.)

Kabir (packing his things):

"Your idea wasn’t terrible. It might even work."

Isha (grinning):

"Wow, is that your version of a compliment? Careful, Kabir, or I might think you’re starting to like working with me."

Kabir (smirking faintly):

"Don’t push your luck."

(They part ways, both feeling unexpectedly intrigued by the other’s perspective.)

...Next scene...

...----------------...

(The school hallway the next morning. Isha arrives at school, juggling her bag, a coffee cup, and several papers. She looks slightly frazzled. Kabir is leaning against his locker, as calm and composed as ever.)

Isha (muttering to herself):

"Why does everything feel so rushed in the mornings?"

(As she walks past Kabir, a gust of wind blows some of her papers out of her hands. They scatter across the hallway.)

Isha (groaning):

"Oh, come on!"

(Kabir watches for a moment, sighs, and walks over. Without saying much, he starts picking up her papers.)

Isha (awkwardly):

"Uh... thanks, I guess."

Kabir (handing the papers back to her):

"Try not to lose those. Also..." (he pulls out a folded sheet of paper from his bag and hands it to her)

"These are the additional notes I worked on for the project. They include some strategies for our presentation. Don’t share them with anyone."

(Isha takes the paper, her eyebrows raising in surprise.)

Isha (skeptically):

"Don’t share? What are you, working on state secrets?"

Kabir (flatly):

"No, but if this gets around, someone else might use it. I’d rather not risk it."

(He adjusts his bag and walks off before Isha can say anything more. She unfolds the paper, scanning the detailed notes and strategies Kabir had written. Despite her annoyance with him, she can’t help but be impressed.)

(Later, in the café, Isha is sitting with Riya and Arjun. The café is bustling with students from their school. Isha places Kabir’s notes on the table as she talks.)

Riya (curious, peeking at the notes):

"What’s that? Did Kabir seriously give you his secret project strategy?"

Isha (shrugging):

"Yeah, but he made it sound like some top-secret operation. He was all, ‘Don’t share this with anyone.’"

Arjun (grinning):

"Well, it is pretty detailed. Looks like Kabir’s aiming for perfection again."

Isha (leaning back in her chair):

"Yeah, well, he can be as perfectionist as he wants. I’m not about to let him boss me around like he’s the only one who knows how to get an A."

(Unbeknownst to them, a pair of students at a nearby table overhears their conversation. One of them is a known competitor in the class and exchanges a sly look with their friend.)

kai (whispering):

"Did you hear that? Kabir’s got some special notes for their project. If we can get a look at those..."

karan (smirking):

"Could give us the edge we need. Let’s figure out a way to get them."

(Meanwhile, Isha and her friends remain oblivious, laughing and chatting as the opponents quietly slip out of the café.)

(The scene ends with Isha returning home, still thinking about how much effort Kabir had put into the notes. She tucks them safely into her bag, unaware of the brewing trouble.)
