Chapter no.1 Prologue
Dark forest, moonlight filtering through the trees. Giggles echo through the silence.
Naruto
Man, I must look ridiculous right now—alone and laughing under the moon. But who cares? I finally did it! I made a clone that actually works!
Naruto stares at the figure before him, his excitement barely contained.
Naruto
"It's perfect." whispering in disbelief
Clone Naruto
Great, with this I can become a genin.
Naruto blinking, taken aback
Naruto
Huh? Since when did clones talk back?
He tentatively pokes the clone.
Naruto
Not an illusion? It's solid... and can talk?
A wide grin spreads across his face.
Naruto
You know what that means, right?
Clone Naruto
My clone jutsu is better than everyone else's.
Naruto
"Exactly!" laughing "Finally, something I'm better at!"
The clone moves toward the large forbidden scroll nearby.
Naruto
What are you doing?
Clone Naruto
We have some time before Mizuki-sensei comes. Let's learn another jutsu.
They both huddle over the scroll, Naruto's initial excitement faltering.
Naruto
These stupid seals... way too complicated.
The clone diligently spreads the scroll across the forest floor.
Naruto
It's no use. Those seals are like a lock I can't pick.
Clone Naruto
It's like an onion.
As the scroll unfurls completely, they spot a massive seal.
Naruto
Wait... this one's a storage seal! I think I just need to pump chakra into it.
Clone Naruto
But it's huge. That’s gotta take a ton of chakra.
Naruto
Lucky for me, I've got more chakra than anyone.
They place their hands on the seal.
They begin channeling the chakra into the seal. The energy surges through Naruto, but suddenly, the seal pulls back, greedily draining more chakra.
The clone vanishes in a puff of smoke. Naruto grits his teeth, struggling to keep up with the drain, pain shooting through him.
Finally, the pulling stops. Naruto collapses onto the ground, panting.
The forest spins as he lies there, drained and gasping for air.
Naruto
So this is what chakra exhaustion feels like. Guess I really underestimated that seal.
He sits up, brushing dirt off his jacket, glaring at the scroll.
Naruto
Bastard seal, you took my chakra, now give me your secrets!
Suddenly, the scroll glows. A vibrant orange chakra spirals upward, forming a ring above the seal.
Naruto
What the heck is that?
The chakra ring pulses with life, glowing brightly, its edges shimmering gold. Shadows dance around Naruto as the fiery orange light bathes the forest.
Drawn to it instinctively, like a moth to a flame, his hand reached out slowly. The moment his finger touched the ring of fire, there was a massive flash of light that blinded him.
Suddenly, everything went dark.
Naruto
Where am I? Is this a dream? Did I get knocked out? What was that ring of fire?
He walks cautiously through the darkness, muttering to himself.
Naruto
I'm pretty sure Ayame would be terrified of this place.
His voice echoes slightly in the dark void.
Naruto
Jiji, are you there? Is this some kind of punishment for knocking you out with the sexy jutsu? I'm sorry.
Naruto pinched his ears awkwardly.
The silence presses in on him. He calls out louder.
His voice cracks, trembling with fear. Just as the unease starts to overwhelm him, a sudden burst of light cuts through the darkness. He shields his eyes with his arms.
As his vision adjusts, ten rings of fire appear, their flames dancing intensely. He steps closer to one of the rings, mesmerized.
The ring expands, revealing a figure that looks like him, decked in armor with a sword and shield.
Do I get the cool sword if I touch it?
Half-expecting an answer, but silence followed.
A scroll unfurls in front of him, with words etched into the parchment.
System
Warrior Class: Weapon Expert. High strength, dexterity.
Naruto
I think I get it now, dattebayo! If I touch you, I get to be a weapon expert and be super strong and... dex-something.
He scratches his head, unsure of what dexterity means, but the promise of strength excites him. Moving on, he approaches the next ring.
System
Low ranking knight, high HP, solid armor. Not easily toppled.
Naruto
What the hell is a knight?
Shrugging, he steps to the next ring.
System
Wanderer: Wields scimitar, High dexterity.
Naruto
Is that a ramen bowl for a shield? At least if I pick this class, I could use the shield as a ramen bowl.
System
Thief: High critical hits, Has master key.
Naruto
What’s a master key even supposed to do? Pass.
System
Bandit: High strength. Wields heavy battle axe.
Naruto
Do I get that body if I choose this class? His bicep’s bigger than both my arms combined!
Naruto eyes the figure’s intimidating axe and shield adorned with a spider emblem.
Naruto
Sakura-chan would totally forget about that emo Sasuke if I looked like this.
System
Hunter: Bow-wielding hunter, decent at close range but weak with magic.
Naruto
Weak to magic? What does that even mean? Magic in our world?
System
Sorcerer of Vinheim Dragon School. Casts soul sorceries.
Naruto
What? No way. You sound cool, but you look… lame.
Naruto sighs and moves to the next ring.
System
Pyromancer: Swamp pyromancer. Casts fire spells and wields a hand axe.
Naruto
Fire spells? Finally something awesome! Sasuke won’t know what hit him!
System
Cleric: Wields a mace and casts healing miracles.
Naruto
Nope. Not going bald.
System
Deprived: Unclothed enigma. Only armed with a club and old plank shield.
Naruto
Gaaa! No way! Nearly naked? What is wrong with these classes?!
Naruto steps away from these rings to think about which class he should choose.
Naruto
Bandit or Pyromancer… muscles or fireballs?
Naruto decided to use eeny, meeny, miny, moe to decide between the Pyromancy Class and Bandit Class.
Naruto opens his eyes to see his finger on Pyromancer. Placing his hand on the ring, it flickers in response.
Naruto
I can't wait to see the look on everyone's faces when they see my awesome fire jutsu!
A blinding flash of light surrounds Naruto, and as it fades, he finds himself in an unfamiliar, foul-smelling dungeon.
Naruto
Pinching his nose, "Ugh, what is that smell?!"
He spots the source—a bloated, decaying rat near an old bucket that looks like a makeshift toilet. Grimacing, he turns away.
Naruto
This is so gross. I’ve seen some nasty stuff, but this takes the cake.
Naruto scans his surroundings. The dungeon is cold, damp, and covered in moss. Dim light trickles in through cracks, barely illuminating the room. A rusted metal door stands in front of him, faint torchlight seeping through its edges.
Naruto
"I don’t think I’m in Konoha anymore."
Naruto tries to stand, but a clinking sound stops him. He looks down to see chains binding his ankles.
Naruto
What the—?! I’m chained up?!
Naruto glances at his outfit, realizing he’s wearing the pyromancer clothes from the fire ring vision.
Doubt creeps into his mind as he considers the possibility of punishment for stealing the forbidden scroll
Naruto
"Jiji wouldn’t do this to me… right? No, this has to be something else."
Naruto forces himself to look away from the disgusting rat and bucket, focusing on the damp stones and faint light. But then, he notices woodlice crawling toward the rat’s corpse.
Naruto
Where’s a fire jutsu when you need it?
Naruto looks down at his pyromancer outfit, an idea sparking in his mind.
Naruto
"Wait… I should have a fire jutsu, right? I mean, I got the clothes."
Naruto notices the absence of the axe and shield from the vision but brushes it off. Jerking his hands toward the advancing bugs, he yells:
Nothing happens. No spark, no flame, just silence. Naruto stares at his hand in disbelief.
Naruto
Where’s my fireball?! How am I supposed to one-up that emo bastard now?!
Frustration bubbles over as he shouts the word "status," and suddenly, a black and gold screen appears before him, shimmering softly.

Naruto taps the screen, hoping for more info, but nothing happens. Frustrated, he looks around the dungeon.

Great. I’ve got a fireball I don’t know how to use and chains around my ankles. This just keeps getting better.
Suddenly, the room is flooded with blinding light, cutting off his thoughts.
