Aries, a young boy with a strong physique and handsome features, was born in the troubled country of Kronos. Since childhood, his homeland had been in conflict with the neighboring country of Helox.
He had a younger sister named Gemini, and the two were inseparable; Aries always kept a watchful eye on her wherever they went. Their father served in the military, while their mother stayed home to care for them.
For several years, the war remained moderate, but things took a turn for the worse when the country’s ruler was succeeded by his son, Dimitri.
...----------------...
Dimitri was an arrogant leader, full of himself and driven by a desire for power. His self-importance and disregard for the well-being of his people only fueled the tensions between Kronos and Helox, making the already fragile situation even more precarious.
As tensions between the two countries escalated, Helox began preparing to invade Kronos, intent on seizing control. The threat of war loomed ever closer, casting a shadow over the lives of those in Kronos, including Aries and his family. The fragile peace that had once existed was crumbling, and the people braced themselves for the storm that was about to break.
However, amidst the turmoil, one reason kept Aries hopeful for a better future: a beautiful girl named Athena. Her radiant smile and kind heart brought light to his otherwise troubled world. Whenever they were together, Aries felt a sense of peace and possibility, a reminder that even in the darkest times, love and connection could flourish. Athena became a beacon of hope for him, inspiring him to dream of a brighter tomorrow, despite the chaos surrounding them.
Though Aries and Athena shared an undeniable connection, they remained just friends, each hesitant to cross the line into something deeper. Athena valued their friendship and feared that a romantic relationship might complicate things, especially with the looming threat of war. Meanwhile, Aries struggled with his feelings, longing to express his affection but respecting her wishes.
...----------------...
One afternoon, as the sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the landscape, Aries and Athena found themselves sitting on a grassy hill overlooking the town. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the distant sounds of laughter from children playing below created a serene backdrop.
As they talked about their dreams and fears, Aries felt a surge of courage. He glanced at Athena, her hair catching the light, and for a moment, the world around them faded away. “Athena,” he began, his voice slightly trembling, “do you ever think about what might happen if things change? If the war comes?
Athena looked thoughtful, her gaze fixed on the horizon. “I try not to think about it too much. I want to believe that we can find a way to make things better, that love and friendship can overcome anything.”
Aries felt a pang in his heart. “I believe that too. But I also believe that we shouldn’t let fear hold us back from what we truly want.”
She turned to him, her eyes searching his. “What do you mean?”
Taking a deep breath, Aries decided to take a leap of faith again. “I mean… I care about you, Athena. More than just as a friend. I’ve felt this way for a long time, but I didn’t want to ruin what we have.”
Athena’s expression softened, and for a moment, the air between them crackled with unspoken possibilities. “I care about you too, Aries. But with everything happening, I just… I don’t want to complicate things.”
Aries nodded, understanding her hesitation. “I get it. But maybe we can face whatever comes together? As more than friends?”
Athena smiled gently, her heart racing. “Maybe we can. But let’s take it slow. We have to be ready for whatever happens next.”
As they sat together, the sun setting behind them, a new chapter began to unfold—one filled with hope, uncertainty, and the promise of something beautiful amidst the chaos.

...****************...
m bright morning, Aries went to see Athena, but to his surprise, he found someone else inside their house talking with her.
He was shocked to see Dimitri there.
"That can't be. Why is He here?" he wondered to himself.
Trying to get some answers, he approached Athena's servant.
"Good morning. Do you know why Dimitri is here?" he asked politely.
"I'm not sure, Seniorito," the servant replied. "But I heard that Dimitri has been captivated by Seniora Athena's beauty and has been here a few times already."
Aries felt his heart sink, a wave of betrayal washing over him. He had been seeing Athena for a long time, yet she had never accepted his love.
To Athena's surprise, she hadn't seen Aries for weeks, which was unusual for him. Concerned, she decided to pay him a visit.
As she approached his home, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She knocked on the door, her heart racing a little. When Aries finally opened it, she was taken aback by the sadness in his eyes.
"Aries, I was worried about you," she said softly. "Is everything okay?"
He hesitated, the weight of his feelings pressing down on him. "I’ve just been... busy," he replied, trying to mask the turmoil inside. But Athena could sense there was more.
Tell me Aries", Athena said.
Aries took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before speaking.
"Athena, I know about Dimitri," he said, his voice steady but laced with pain. "I know I don’t stand a chance against him."
Athena's expression shifted, a mixture of surprise and sadness crossing her face.
"Aries, it’s not like that," she replied, her voice softening. "You have to understand, I don’t have a choice in this."
His heart sank further at her words. "What do you mean you don't have a choice?" he asked, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
She looked away, unable to meet his gaze. "Dimitri... he has connections, influence. It complicates things. I never wanted it to be this way."
Aries felt a surge of frustration and hurt. "So you’re just going to let him take you away?"
Athena stepped closer, her eyes pleading.
"It’s not that simple. I care about you, but I can’t ignore the reality of the situation."
Aries looked at her, feeling the weight of their unspoken feelings hanging in the air between them. "I wish things were different," he said softly, his heart aching for what could have been.
"I'm sorry, Aries," Athena said, her voice trembling as tears welled in her eyes. "But our wedding is near, and I can't see you again."
Aries felt as if the ground had been pulled from beneath him. "What do you mean, 'wedding'?" he asked, disbelief flooding his voice. The reality of her words crashed over him like a wave, leaving him breathless.
Athena wiped her tears, her heartbreaking at the pain she saw in his eyes. "Dimitri and I... it was arranged. I never wanted this, but my family has made decisions for me. I feel trapped."
Aries struggled to process her confession. "You don’t have to go through with it. You can choose your own path!" he urged, desperation creeping into his tone.
"I wish it were that simple," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have responsibilities, and my family's honor is at stake. I can't just walk away."
Athena shook her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I never wanted to hurt you, Aries. You mean so much to me, but I can't change what's already been set in motion. I have to go through with this, even if it breaks my heart."
Aries stood there, feeling utterly powerless. "I don’t want to say goodbye," he said, his voice breaking.
"I know," she replied, stepping closer and placing a hand on his cheek. "But sometimes, we have to make sacrifices for the sake of others. Just know that I will always care for you."
With that, she turned away, leaving Aries standing in the doorway, his heart shattered as he watched her walk away, knowing he might never see her again.
