I woke up cold, So cold in fact I was shivering. It seems as though my blanket didn't keep me warm anymore, probably because the heat was turned off by the electric company. "Good morning Tommy!" Said my bright eyed bushy tailed little sister Mel. "I got you a cup of Tea!" She said. "You know I hate tea Mel." I said groggily. "I know but it's all we had and I would hate for you to freeze to death." Said Mel. You gotta love Mel she always has looked after me even though it should be the other way around considering I'm older. But she does well for only 8. She's barely educated just got back into school after missing a year. I've tried to keep her in but it's been hard for me to keep a job. Luckily I work for my Uncle's Welding shop, If it weren't for him I don't know what I'd do. My uncle also offered to pay the bills and he gets behind sometimes, probably why the heats out. "So what fun things are we doing today Tommy? After all you are off today." she said, her face glistening. "Im not too terribly sure M." I said, trying not to get her hopes up. "Well you'd better think about it, and do it fast because I wanna do something!" Kids, you gotta love 'em. I managed to get my laptop charged before power went out so I decided I would look up, for the 3,000,000th time, why MC1 blew up all those years ago. Scrolling through the webpages I came across one I had never seen before. It talked about how scientists were testing some of the people's blood that lived there and were replacing it with some other stuff to see if they would survive or get powers or something. It was said to make them feel things and hear things and do things that they had no control over. "Whatcha doing?" Came Mel's voice from behind my laptop. "Wouldn't you like to know!" I said in a joking tone. "Find anything for us to do yet?" she said impatiently. "Yes. I'm going grocery shopping and then going to work." I said. "But you're off Saturday!" she groaned. "Yeah but we need money." I reminded her. "Ugh, I hate this!" she growled. After stopping by my Uncle's place and working a couple hours I felt it was time for groceries, so I went to the store and as I was shopping for milk I saw somebody slip something into their jacket. Granted I couldn't see their face but they then started running towards me, like right at me, not around me. "You didn't see shit!" Said the man in the black hoodie. "Oh yes I did, I also saw your face so what're you gonna do?" I said Smugly. "I don't have time for this shit today!" The man said. " Oh yes, because you've got way more shops to rob today before nightfall." I said sarcastically. He started swinging right hooks at me in which I dodged, he then came up on me and tackled me like a football player would. "WHY DONT YOU JUST **** OFF MAN. WHEN IM DONE WITH YOU, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO REMEMBER MY FACE!" he said angrily. I tried getting to my feet but then a boot whenent straight into my nose. Blood, the first thing I see when I come to. the guy was now down by me lying on the floor in handcuffs, he looked as if he was doing something with his hands behind him. I thought nothing of it until he turned abruptly and sloshed the liquid all over me. I. Was. Out.

I woke up in the ICU sweating, hell I was burning up, and there was nothing anyone could do but watch me burn to death.

Fire. The first thing I saw when I closed my eyes, the only thing actually. I could feel the heat within me, like a big ball of fire trying to burn me up from the inside out. "Hello, How are we today?" said a female nurse with a bunch of food and pills on a tray. "What day is it?" I said a little groggy. "Wednesday." said the nurse as she set the tray down on the table near me. "Shit! I slept through 4 days! Tell me you're joking?!" I said surprised and horrified at the same time. "No I'm not kidding, we brought you here on Saturday, Your Uncle payed the medical bills yesterday, he also said something about a kid?" Said the kind nurse. "MEL! What's wrong is she hurt?!" I said hastily. "No he said something about taking her with him to his house or something, don't ask me it's your life." said the nurse kinda irritated. "you'll need to eat something so here." said the nurse once again. "Thanks." I said. As I leaned forward to to grab the tray it turned a bright orange-red color with smoke coming off of it. then it began to melt on my hands and the food had melted as well. The nurse shrieked and ran out of the room while I threw that tray as far away from me as possible. Then I felt my temperature rising and rising then the blanket I was covered up ignited with flames and burnt to a crisp. Next thing you know the mattress is on fire, I can here the fire alarms going off and can hear people screaming. then It all went black. When I awoke I lay in ash and chemicals from the fire extinguisher. My doctors robe burnt off too. I was now covered in a towel, and now with my temperature down it won't burn up. I noticed I had moved rooms, there were others in this room as well none of them moving all just covered in towels. Am... Am I... Dead? I thought as i tried to get up. No that's crazy I thought. of course I'm not they just think I am. This could be good, because now I can make a run fo r it and they won't see anything of it. I can finally go home and... The door opened. I dropped back onto my bed and covered myself back up, people were talking, I don't know what of, but they were talking. As they approached I heard a male doctor say "He's special alright." I don't know if special is the right word for it but sure. "I think we should put him out of his misery." A female doctor said. Oh Kay. Little much lady I don't wanna die yet! Then suddenly out of nowhere fire erupted and the metal on my bed started melting. I could see now because once again, I was nude. Just your normal average terrorist here burning down buildings and such in the nude, nothing to see here. The next thing you know I can't do anything, Im still, fire everywhere, I try to mutter for help but it was no use. Yes, the flaming man is now dying of a heat stroke Ironic right? Guess what happened next, I don't know because I was unconscious and what not.

So after the tragedy in the hospital they decided to let me out. The whole place was freaky, maybe because I don't like hospitals much. But anyway, now I'm on my way to get M from my Uncle Ron, hope he fed her because lord knows I have no food or money at the old beat up house I live in, well not really a house more like a shack. As I walk towards Uncle Ron's house I hear loud yelling and when I go to see what it's coming from all I see is Mel being thrown out of the door and on to the pavement. Mel, 8 years old, being thrown out of a door by my uncle Ron. Not in my house! "Yo Uncle Ron, what the hell!" I shouted. "Finally you're here, your fucking sister is trying to steal from me!" He shouted back at me. I went to her and started to help her up but then realized she was covered in blood. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU RON! YOU JUST THREW A LITTLE GIRL OUT OF A FUCKING SCREEN DOOR!" I screamed, now starting to draw attention to us. "SHE WAS FUCKING STEALING MY FOOD!" he shouted back at me. I now stepped closer to him, grabbed him by the collar and in a angrily voice I said "Aren't you her Uncle? Aren't you supposed to feed your niece? If she steals her uncle's food to take home, so what, we are poor, you might think you know what's wrong, but you don't so stay the hell away from me and my family or there will be consequences." And at that moment he shoved me down to the pavement and said "don't... fucking... STEAL!" he swung and hit me in the temple I fell from the sheer force, but was not injured. I got up and threw a left hook knocking him against the house, now his white house was splattered with blood. "You bastard!" He shouted as he shot a fist into my gut, only this time I didn't move. Almost as if I were getting stronger. I felt my self start heating up, I knew it wasn't good for me to do this in public, or at all but this guy deserves it. I looked at my hands, heat, nothing else, I clenched my fist, flames. as I was figuring out how this worked I was struck by a bat from one of the guys that my Uncle works with. Shit. Now there's 3 guys and none of them are playing for home team. The guy who swung the bat tried again, only this time I caught it, and it burst into flames. The next guy, a tall, muscular man pulls out a hand gun and shoots, I don't know if he's a bad shot or if I'm bulletproof, either way it had no affect. So I beat the shit out of the two "Body guards" and then started charging at Uncle Ron, he ran into the house and I followed. He started knocking stuff down trying to slow me down but I didn't get slower, I got faster actually. I chased him into a room as he held a gun against my head and shivered these words out "What... Are.... You?" He went to shoot but I pushed his gun out of his hands and broke it, then I shoved it up against the wall and punched him, rapidly, it was so fast I hadn't realized how many times I had hit him. I also hadn't noticed the house was in flames from me punching the wall when he tried to dodge. but now he just hang in my arms unconscious.
