A young girl was seen run through the thick woods.

"Come back here!!!" said a booming voice.

"Please leave me alone" said the girl.

While she wasn't looking, she hit her head on a tree then fell down soon after the person chasing after her caught up with her.

"Pah!!"

A loud slap was heard.

"This is the fifth time you're been try to run away" said the person who was chasing her.

"I don’t want to go back there, you people are to cruel sob sob" cried the girl.

"You better shut up and get ready for your punishment" the man then angrily dragged her back to the orphanage.

It's been six years since Lisa has stayed in the Orphanage and she didn't even know what her parents looked like. All she knows was that when she was two she was found in a collapsed building which must have been the result of an earthquake. How she survived anyway was a miracle.

The Police Officers who rescued her were even more surprised when they realized that she didn't even had any injuries. She was saved and then taken to the Orphanage when they realized that her parents couldn’t be found.

Six years has gone in a blink of an eye, and now that she is eight years old, escaping this terrible Orphanage has been her first plan since her stay here, but it may seem strange for why an eight year old will want to escape, where can she stay if she leaves the Orphanage.

Anyway Lisa may be young but she a bit smarter for her age, like when she was rescued from the earthquake, she told the Police Officers that her name was Lisa, and she didn't even cry or cause a tantrum when her parents couldn't be found as she was calmer than other children who lost their parents.

Although all her attempts of escaping the Orphanage has been futile, but this has also being part of are plan as she is trying to study the Orphanage surroundings.

"Seriously, this is the fifth time that she tried to escape, and this place is all surrounded by forest isn't she afraid of getting eaten by wild animals" said the caretaker who appears to be in her mid thirties.

The guy who chased her said "I don't know ma'am but she is really fearless, no matter how I punish her, she won't still give up escaping"

"Alright then, if she still wants to escape, just let her die there, I'm sick of her already"

"Okay ma'am, I will inform you when she's gone"

"Good, you can go now"

"Yes ma'am"

Lisa who was eavesdropping on their conversation quickly hide when she realized they were done. As the man left, Lisa came out of her hiding spot and told herself that she will soon leave this place as she has successfully annoyed them enough not care about her.

"Finally, first thing tomorrow morning I'm leaving" she said the went back to her room.

Early the next day, Lisa was running through the woods, she was carrying a bag that had some food stuff and other useful things for her journey.

Now that she has escaped she needs a place she can say until she is old enough to take care of herself.

Soon, she got to the main road, as she was about to cross to the other side, suddenly car came rushing towards her. She was shocked and scared, moving away seems like an impossible thing to do.

“Haaa!!!” She screamed.

She felt her who body going through a horrible pain, thinking she was going to die this way made her very sad.

She wants to find her parents and get a better life become very rich and strong so people won’t look down on her.

However, she won’t be able to have the opportunity to achieve any of her goals in this life. Soon she fell into the depth of darkness.

A group of people all warring black were bowing down to a man in the middle.

“Master, we’ve done everything you told us to do”

“Ok, you can leave”

Suddenly they all disappeared, like they’re have never been there.

The man who as be silently standing in the same position also vanished.

Lisa found her in a huge dark room, the moon was the only source of light which showed a bit color of red at the side.

The room only had a huge table at the center with some ropes on it. On the walls were some ancients paintings she couldn’t quite understand even if she tried to study them it just becomes more complicated.

After spending some time looking at the paintings she got bored and then started looking around the room but there wasn’t anything else there. After almost spending half an hour in the room the door opened and a woman

who seemed to be in her let fifties entered.

Lisa was stunned looking at the woman. The woman looked so pale that it seemed as if she about to turn gray.

Before Lisa could think about what this woman was or what she was doing here the pale woman was already in front of her, she grabbed Lisa’s hands then pulled her to the table forcefully.

Lisa was flabbergasted, how could a woman so pale and weak suddenly have the strength to grab her this hard and come towards her without her knowing.

She started to question what this woman was, she didn’t look human at all.

“Let me go” Lisa said angrily.

But the woman just ignored her, she placed Lisa on the table hardly and used the ropes to tie her up.

Lisa started screaming, the ropes had some kind of substance that made her feel pain and weak. The woman who tied her up then left the room.

“Hey, let me go!!, you...” the sound of the closed door made her tremble.

The temperature of the room suddenly dropped, the room was freezing making her teeth chatter.

Lisa didn’t know how long she has been left in the room, has the freezing temperature made her fall unconscious.

In the dark room, Lisa who’s unconscious was unaware of what going on.

There were up to seventeen numbers of people in the room and a man who stands out among them was closer to Lisa.

As he touches her face one of them said,

“Master we’ve given her some of your blood, but the signs of transformation is yet to appear”

“Really?”

“Yes master, it has been six hours since we’ve given her your blood and till there’s no signs of changes”

The room was silent as they waited for what their master is going to say next.

“Since she hasn’t show the signs yet, let’s wait till tomorrow”

“Yes master!!” They all chorused.

The next day Lisa woke up due Hunger.

“That creepy woman is ruthless she didn’t even know how to take care of children. She just left me in this cold room to die”

While she was till talking to herself, the people from yesterday came in with their master.

They all gathered around her as if they want to eat are up.

Then their master came towards her.

“What do you people want from me”she said boldly not won’t to be weak in front of them.

“Nothing child, you just look someone we know”

“Ok, then what is the reason why you bought me here and left me for hours to die of hunger”

“Sorry child, one of my men was the one who made you had an accident so he bought you here since you look like someone we know. We didn’t mean to starve you.”

He told one of them to bring her meal “Quick go and bring her breakfast!”

Soon her meal was bought over and Lisa ate it all, since she hadn’t ate anything things for almost two days she asked for more.

“Thank you for the meal” Lisa said when she was done.

“You’re welcome” The master replied.

“So why are you alone, don’t you have parents”

“No I don’t, I don’t even know what my parents looked like, all I know was that I was recused from a collapsed building and was then sent to the orphanage. The people who work at the orphanage were very terrible so I escaped, got into an accident then I found myself here.”

“Ok, since you don’t have any where to go you can stay here”

“Really, can I stay here!!” Lisa asked surprised.

“Yes you can, as compensation for the accident”

“That’s great!!, thank you, but I also want to go to school too” She said hoping he can sponsor her to go to school.

“Yes you can also go to school, so you don’t have to worry about anything, I’ll take care of everything you need”

“Thank you very much I’ll make sure to repay everything back when I get older”

“You don’t have to, has you can see I getting old and I’m not married so I’ll adopt you, you will become my daughter so you don’t have to worry about anything anymore. Anyway are you willing to become my daughter” He said hoping she agrees.

Lisa thought for a while, since she didn’t have any where to go, she could has well stay with him until she is old in enough to take care of herself. So she agreed.

Saying yes, her new dad told one of the people in the room to show Lisa the place she will be staying.

When they left, one of them asked their master if he is really going let her stay here.

So he told them that “ I will allow her to stay here for the time being, as she reminds of an old friend of mine so if she could be their daughter, it will be my duty to take her of her”

They all nodded their heads then left the room.

As they all left the master remained there in deep thought.
