It was the first time that I will be leaving home and go live with my dad in Thailand. I was kind of scared to leave my old life here in Los Angeles but my mom said it was for the better and I could get to know my other siblings and my stepmother. I thought it would be a little tougher but I am actually kind of happy that I am taking a chance to find myself a new life and a new future that I will love or embrace. As I was packing my stuff while I listen to a Song called juvenile in white one of my favorite songs from my favorite tv show I will never let you go.

I started to remember when I was little how my mom and I would go to different places and visit my grandparents and they would tell me in Chinese that life is like the wind and it changes throughout the season but water makes its own path and you have to choose which path that you will take. At first, I really didn't understand what they meant but now as I look back I now can say I understand what they meant and I chose to take a path for myself and follow my heart and guide myself to a new beginning.

As I leave my old life behind and I start to wonder what it would be like and how will it turn out but who knows the only I can hope for that it is a blissful life. I am on my way to the airport, I started to wonder if my new start in Thailand would be the Cinderella story, my mom used to read to me when I was little but I just hope that it would not have to come to that and as I departure from Los Angeles to Thailand, and I say my goodbyes to my mom and friends but my mom said that. " it's not goodbye but it's hello.” I only could laugh and say, wish me luck.

As I walk to board the plane I remember the first time I got on the plan with my mom and we were heading to Hawaii. Those were the good old days I enjoyed so much and I just got a notification and it's said that son of million dollar business tycoon Taylor Wu Alex Phasakorn was at Lax board a plan and would seem that I can slip away from the paparazzi and this is my glamorous lifestyle.

The only thing I can say is that I won't miss the paparazzi cause where I go it always be paparazzi and that's for sure. As the plane takes off and I put my headphones in my ear and enjoy the flight to Thailand, and what until its time to eat dinner and change clothes in my private suite and enjoy my first class champagne and caviar. Before I could enjoy the relaxation I had got a phone call and was from my dad.

My dad asked me is everything to my liking on the plane and I said that." it was to my liking and I asked him how he knew the phone on the?" and he told me that he called my mom and ask would be ok if he paid for the plane ticket and everything else. I was kind of a shock to hear him say that and told him I will call him as soon as I would arrive and I hung the phone up and enjoy the next six or seven hours before I get to Thailand.

Today is my first day in Thailand, and I can not wait to see what this beautiful country has in store for me. As I walked out of the airport I started to see a driver with a sign with the last name of my family and I already knew that the car was for me sent by my dad. I walk to the driver and got in the car. As I left the airport and I start to wonder what is my older brothers, like and what do they do but I will find out as soon as I meet them. I look outside the window and I saw the family estate an I could not believe how huge it is and it's bigger than the one back in Los Angeles and I see everyone outside waiting for me.

I was so touched to see my dad outside to welcome me home and I got out the car a greet my dad, stepmother, and stepbrothers. My dad said, ” we have been waiting for you to come home.” I just to cry with tears of joy and that I came a long way to see my family and I could not be happier. We all went into the house and they were showing me to my room and I was shocked at how the room was and I could not say a word. I just gave a huge hug and told everyone thank you and ask them how did they what I like.

My dad said, “ that he called my mom and ask what did I like and how was my room back home was like.” I was so happy that everyone pitch in and gave the warmest and beautiful, and welcome home and I could not ask for a better welcome home than this and it really has been the happiest moment in my life.

My stepmom said, " why don't you get settled in first and come downstairs for lunch so we can get to know each other.” and I was really excited about my new life in Thailand and knowing that this might have been the best choice I had ever made. I started to call my mom but realized I don't know what time it is there in la so I just text her and told her that I made it to Thailand safe and everyone gave me welcome home.

I put on some vava and start to sing in Chinese and unpack my things. I was so surprised that I would have a comfortable lifestyle here as well in La and I'm kinda wondering what does my dad do and how he can afford a beautiful mansion like this.

After I finished unpacking and I went downstairs to the garden where we were having lunch and my dad said, " I have all my children here with me." and I told my dad thank you for everything and I am really glad to be here with him. My stepmother as me how my life was in Los Angeles and I said that after high school I started to work on my fashion line and I hold my first fashion show and begin the son of a business tycoon and I used some of my business tactics and landed five investors but overall my life has been pretty good and spend time with my friends and my family.

My dad as me how was Lilly and I told him that she is doing good and keep grandfather away from the company as much as she can. My stepmother asked who was Lilly and my dad told her that Lilly is my grandmother and he told her that my mom is black and Chinese and my dad was telling me how he met mom and how he was happy that he had was going to be a dad for the first time.

I was happy to hear my dad talk about my mom and me that made me wanted to cry and I asked what did my dad do and he told me that was in the same line work as my mother and I as my stepbrothers what do they do and David said he is in college, and owns a small cafe and Aroon is in college as well.

I had the most amazing meal and it was like anything I had before. As I said, good night to everyone and I went upstairs to my room so I can get a good nights rest for the big day tomorrow but apart of me feel sad and this sadness is something that I never experienced before and I wanted to just cry. I had gotten a phone call from my mom and she asks how I was doing and everything is ok. It was like she knew something was wrong with me and I told her that I a little sad and she said, why are you a little sad.

So I told her that I guess it's because I missed you, mom, and while I was on the phone with her and I heard her cry. It broke my heart to hear my mom cry for me and I was shocked that I would hear my mother cry for the first time, and I told her that I was okay and don't worry too much and take care of your health. She said, " ok and that she call me as often as she can and that I should make some friends and fall in love again.” the only thing I could say was ok and told her goodnight as she told me good morning and I hung up the phone.

As I lie on the bed thinking about what school will be like here in Thailand, and who would I get to know first.
