Two years after the Death of Will and the escape of Tony and Tonya, Pete is now the undisputed leader and boss of the business empire. Dan and Sonya never cared about power anyway as far as they had enough money to spend and party. For this reason Pete never saw them as a threat to his position. Uncle Tom was now his advisor. He had made changes to the security of the organization.

They were now a properly organized troops with ranks and positions.He had carried the business to new heights. He had the people in power in his palms. He could make a politician and break a politician. Most of the politicians in power were elected due to his influence. He was the ultimate Mastermind working in the shadows. In just two years, he had become the most wanted crime boss in the world. His Reputation proceeded that of his father. He was wanted for drug smuggling and human trafficking across 35 countries. Yes, he had added human trafficking to the business. It was the most successful of all his businesses. Human trafficking was a business venture their father ended engaging in some years back. He had become too ambitious. He wanted to take the business to an international level. He wanted to open branches in countries outside of the African continent.

While all this success was coming his way, he still could not believe his father chose Tony over him. The decision still haunted him even in his sleep. In other to find peace with himself, he made a vow to himself that, until he kills Tony, he's never going to be at peace. No amount of success could bring him peace except seeing Tony head rolling on the floor with blood dripping from it.

While their brother was being so successful and the other two siblings enjoying life to the fullest, Tony and Tonya haven't had any luck in terms of success in the past two years especially Tony. Tonya had gotten employment as a Personal Assistant of a company executive so she could cater for herself.

Tony on the other hand couldn't fit in the working class category due to his quick temperament. As a result, he moved from job to job. Sometimes, his sister had to assist him with money for up keep. On one afternoon he had an unexpected visitor. It turned out one of Pete informers had finally found his whereabouts and reported to Pete. So Pete decided to pay him a visit. While Pete was eager to discover for himself the kind of life Tony had created for himself, he became so disappointed seeing Tony that he began laughing. He couldn't believe someone their father believed could take the family business to new heights could not even cater for himself.

As he was about to leave , he asked his guards to bring Tony to the middle of compound and shoot him in the head. As they brought him, he changed his mind and asked them to beat him to a pulp. As the beating continued, Tonya entered the compound seeing what was going on, immediately threw herself on the half dead body of her brother and asked Pete to order his guards to stop. Pete being as arrogant as always, trying to humiliate the twins more, told Tonya in order for his guards to stop, she kiss his shoes. As Tony was lying there half dead he spoke in a thin and faint voice telling his sister not to do it but Tonya seeing that's the only way she could save him did it anyway. After this Pete spared his life but before he left,he told them they didn't belong in the family that's why they were never at home. A statement Tony heard before he passed out.

Tony woke up three days later on a hospital bed with Tonya by his side. He was so embarrassed to talk to her because he was so defenseless when she needed him the most. When Tonya noticed he was awake, she told him he had been out for three days, after that there was total silence until Tonya again asked himself until when he is going to be how he is. What Tonya meant was that, that was not the first time Tony had been beaten up since they arrived in the City.

The truth is that for the past two years people have always picked on him and he never hit back. And Tonya was fed up of that behavior. She continued to tell Pete that, until he figure out his life, he should expect any help from her when he's in any kind of trouble.She also proceeded to tell him Pete was right about one thing and their father will be very disappointed in him if was alive to see what he had become at just 22 years of age. Upon hearing this from his sister, he went into a moment of deep thinking, remembering his life before Accra ,his grandparents and his life in Accra and the number of times he had been been beaten and robbed on the Streets. And through those times his sister has always been by his side.

As he was deep in thought, he remembered his grandfather telling him that, a successful person is one who is rich but a successful person is one who gets up and fight on after loosing everything. Still in tears, he turned to his sister and begged for her forgiveness for not being fair to her since they set foot in Accra. She has always had his back and he is grateful to her. He went on to promise her that he is going to pick himself up and do something with his life. He told her no one is going to disrespect her ever again.

As things were looking to be going in the right direction for the twins back in the city due to a little motivation from Pete and his goons, back home in Kumasi, someone was about to enter the fold that would bring a new twist to everything and change the direction of the story in the foreseeable future. That person was Detective Bonah Odeneho Ankrah. He was a new Detective in town. On his first meeting with Pete, he made it known he was going to be a thorn in his flesh. Pete as usual was just full of arrogance and pride.

He told Detective Bonah to leave his sight if he had nothing better to say to him. So to prove to Pete he actually meant business he seized tons of drugs from one of the warehouses in the City shutting it down in the process. As if it wouldn't get any worse, Dan and Sonya where also arrested for possession of illegal arms which they would have to answer for. After this events took place, Pete invited the Detective to his house for a talk. During the conversation, Pete tried to buy the detective out so that he could be allowed to operate freely without interference from the Police since that was the relationship between him and the previous Detective who left. Detective Bonah declined the offer from Pete but he decided to release Dan and Sonya. The Detective told Pete he is going to release Dan and Sonya not because he had a talk with him. He is releasing them to prove to him that there are some few police officers who still value their work and are not in the police force because of money. Detective Bonah knew he is going to get Pete exactly where he wanted since what he said is going to hurt his ego.

Elsewhere, Tony had started living up to his promise by finding work in a mahogany barks distributing factory which was owned buy a guy called Bob. Bob was not only a mahogany barks smuggler. He was also involved in other criminal activities like underground gold smuggling and human trafficking. His goons could terrorize communities without any retaliation due to fear. There was little freedom for the people for that matter. It was either you were with him or against him. And those who were against him don't live long enough. The mahogany barks were used to spike alcohol to be stronger. That business was considered a criminal offense by the forestry Commission since it leads to the death of most mahogany trees. Yet it was a very valuable commodity in the slums where there are beer bars and also popular in clubs. Although it wasn't a well paying job but he liked it there because no one was always yelling at him. It wasn't a job for those who wore suits. Most of the workers there were former criminals and ex-convict who were trying to fit into society. It was during this time that he met an ex-convict who later became his best friend called Buba. He was huge and strong.

In the beginning, Tony salary was very small but at some point Tonya noticed she was getting more than he should be giving her so she asked whether he had started doing something behind the scenes which was giving him some much cash of late. A question to which he vehemently denied. But as true as her suspicions would turn out to be, it turned out Tony and Buba had been smuggling some of the commodity out of the factory and selling them at cheap prices.

This continued for months until their boss eventually found out. After Bob found out Tony and Buba had been stealing from him all this while, he decided to eliminate both of them.

On one rainy evening, as John was done with his rounds and going back home, a group of six men crossed him in the middle of the road wearing hoods which made it difficult to see their faces. As they approached him, he thought it was one of the usually attacks for money so he decided not to mind them. But while they were about to attack him, one of the goons shouted that "Bob said we shouldn't live him alive". It was at that moment he got to know that it was a matter of life and death. Either he fight or they beat him to death. Since it was only him against six men, it took a while but he eventually defeated them.

Knowing his boss was the one who ordered for him to be eliminated, he went straight to his boss' house with blood dripping from his hair.

Killing the two security men by the gate, he quickly kicked the door open and shot Bob in the head with the security's gun while Bob was trying to explain his actions. By day break, word had reached the streets about what Tony had done the previous night. Instead of hating him for it, the people rather showed him respect. The reason was that, Bob and his goons have terrorized the city for a very long time and it was about time the people breath a little bit of fresh air. No one could dare question them for what they were doing so after waking up the hear Tony had killed Bob it was really great news and and sign of good fortunes to come. Tony was now the outright hero of the town. Since it was Tony who killed Bob and he had no successor, Tony was now the owner of the mahogany business. An opportunity has been opened for the twins. What will they make of it. The story has just begun wait for volume three.....
