Jack your running a fever again ! Your not aloud out again today sorry sweetie. Jack said ok mommy and he went to go seted by the window in his room as he stares sadly out the window he see a bunch of kids playing in the field they was all playing tag running around just haveing fun

He was lost in a day dream that he was out there playing with them but once again for a nother summer he was to sick just then someone kocked on the window giving him a heart attack he open it and a hyper boy said Hi I am John. Jack shock his hand and said in a low and shy voice Hi I am Jack .

John said Hi Jack I saw you watching us. Do you want come play too ? you can we would love have a nother player . So do you ? Come on take my hand I will take you to meet all the other kids . Jack said sadly I really want to but I cant mom says I am too sick . John lean in and kissed Jack on the forehead . Jack didn't know why this made him blush and he fell backwards out his chair hitting the floor . His mom said What was that ? Jack are you ok? I am coming up ! Jack said shocked Why did you kissed me I am a boy You know . John laughed coming in the window and helping him on his feet I was just checking your temp like my moms dose witch you dont have one and how fasted you justed moved . Are you shure your sick ? Jack said mom said I am why would she lie ?

Just then he hard his mom coming up the stairs he got really scared he said oh no mom is coming ! She will get really mad if she saw you in my room and my window open you got go now ! John jumped back out the window and said it was nice meeting You Jack . I live over there see and point to the house across the field And that my window to my room. cool right ! Anyway I will sneak out later after dinner so we can talk more. Then when your all better we can hang out ok cool see your later and he run off to play with the kids again. Just then Jack's mom came to see Jack looking lost and confused his mom ran up to him . You ok ? What happened ? Why is your window open ? you know to much outside air is bad for you ! What's was that noise Jack snapped out of it . He said I opened it because I thought it was a little to stuffy in here I am ok. I fell asleep in my chair and fell over sorry mom for making you worried she check him up and down slammed his window down and put him in bed for rest saying that was to much excitment for one day and walked out .

He laid there thinking how cool John is and kinda of wired. He liked having a friend his age to hang out he wonder if he really was coming back he laid there excited waiting for John to come back .

Over the next 2 years John kept sneaking into Jacks window they became the best of friends. They would have Secret sleep overs and John would being his favorite snacks or video games over for them to enjoy. Jack was so happy he wasn't alone anymore it was nice having a friend while he was locked up in his room .

One winter night John didn't come after dinner like he normally would . Instead he came at 3am he kocked on the window Jack woke up and hurried to let him in . He was barely dressed and was freezing Jack went and got a blanket and they covered up together. Jack asked What happen? Why was you so late ? Why ain't tou dressed ?

John got angry for some reason got up letting the blanket drop to the ground and yelled at Jack . Saying Jack I am not your lover I only hang out with you because I fell bad for you that your supposed mother is keeping you locked up in your room all because you're a supposedly sick . I dont got to tell you what I am doing or wear I go or wear I been ! Do you understand Jack ! Jack was surprised by this and very hurt his friendship was all lie? He started crying hard he look up at John and said while he was crying I understand your right I am not your lover or your friend it ok you can leave now you dont got to feel sorry for me anymore.

John saw Jack crying he felt horrible he didn't know why he was being meen to Jack or why he said those horrible things. He never wanted to make him cry. Jack is who he cared for the most . He had to do something he brought Jack into a hug making his face go into his chest Jack cryed harder he said I am sorry Jack.

I didn't mean anything I said my mom passed away a few days ago. I didn't want to upset you because there was nothing you can do I knew you would want to help and I just needed to keep smiling. My dad been drinking cents and he got really bad tonight and hit me so I ran away to you. I wasn't trying talk about it I just wanted be with you when you asked all the questions I got scared and tock it all out on you I know you just worried about me . Can you please forgive me . John lifed up Jack head from his chest and whipped away the tires.

Jack look up at John this who he thought was so stong he had no ideal so much been going on this broke his heart. His best friend was going trew this all on his own and he didn't notice anything was wrong he felt horrible he wanted to cry but couldn't upset John more just then he saw John crying Oh no ! He had to stop him . He said I will stop crying if you stop john it ok forgive you. I know you didn't mean it I wont ask no more questions I promise we can just chill watch a movie or something anything to make you happy and not to leave me .

This made John really happy I not gonna to leave you Jack your important to me I need you more now then ever . I will tell you what going on so you can understand me but when I can please trust me and dont ask to miney questions for now I just like to sleep maby we can cuddle I dont want be alone and I cant back home. Jack said you can stay as long you want . I will be here for you. We can cuddle and I will wait for you to tell me when your ready. I am so sorry so much is going on John wish I would of known something was wrong before and that I had away to help you. If I could I would take all your pain away John said for now just being here is helping me.

John said in a laughter I am gald you stoped crying but you must of been seeing stuff for I wasn't crying . Jack laughed if you say so and whipped a tear off John check of course you wasn't crying not my best friend that must of been my tear that was on your check hahaha . Thanks for not leaving the me I dont want lose to you or be alone again John said one day when I am stronger I am will break you out of here and you wont be alone no more. Together we will have a good life Jack said that would be nice and they feel asleep together .

In the morning Jack's mom was about to bring in breakfast witch ment John had to hide. She came in gave Jack his food check him to see if he was still sick and gave him a kiss on the forehead and left.

You can come out now john she gone . He popped out from under the bed I cant wait until I am stong enough to save you from all this . I wont have to get up so early and hide in small places . I am sorry John mom just overprotected. It find Jack I am not mad at you. We cant choose our parents we just live with them . My old man probably knows I am gone now I better go home .

Jack asked John your leaving so soon! I can share my breakfast with you . John said if your as sick as your mom saids you need that more then me I will cook me something at home . He walk over to Jack look down at him looking sad that he was leaving . He put his hand on Jacks head playing with his hair. Dont worry my pet I know you will miss me but I be back after dinner like allwise watch me from the window and he winked. I am only going across the field silly I not leaving forever he laughed. Jack said shyly oh John I wish you wouldn't call me your pet ! I just get lonely when your gone . you promise you will be back ? John said I pinky promise I wont forget my pet and out the window he jump and home he ran . Jack watch him sneak into his window .

He was allwise sad when John left sometimes he even cryed . He didn't like being alone. He has no other friends and only saw his mom when she brought up food or meds. No one was aloud over so he doesn't get more sick so when John left it was like his whole world left too but John promise he won't forget him so all he had to do was wait .

As he was looking out the window watching John house in a deep day dream about all him and John was gonna do when he came back a loud scream broke his train of thought . He recognize that scream it was John . That scared the crap out him . Why was John screaming ? Was he ok? Did his dad hurt him again ? He couldn't sit here he had to know John was ok but he never been out before what if something happens to him because he goes out . He shock his head none of that matters he had to make shure John was ok .

He open his window jumped out backwards out the window hopping that would be last scary waiting to hit the ground but never did he looked up to see mad and hurt John . lucky John cought him thow there wasn't much time to think about that . John put him back in his room and climb in . He yelled at Jack what was you thinking? Jumping out your window it too high for you and you could of got hurt or worst going out could made you sick !

Jack started crying I am sorry John I heard you scream I couldn't worry about me I had make shure you was ok . John let out a sigh how could he mad afther that . He started looking Jack up and down to make sure he was ok . He kissed his forehead again making shur he didn't have a fever. Jack said I am ok really you cought me and I didn't go out before then . I promise I feel find . you can stop mothering me now . Pluse it is you who needs tocken care of !

John said I am ok . Dont worry about me . I can handle it . I will stop babying you but never do anything like that again. Do you understand? I won't John but I really wish you let me help you . I know I am the week one but I can help too it hurts me seeing you like that. Let me help you. your always doing so much for me .

John said go get the frist aid kit I let you take care of me if it makes you happy. He went and got it started cleaning up John . John said listen Jack before you went crazy and jumped out window . I came over to talk to you. My dad lost it. I cant live there I got to leave Jack . Jack said you can live here. I will take care of you . John said I can't Jack if I am going get stronger to be able to protect you the way I am now I cant protect my shelf I am sorry jack I leaving but I promise I will be back when I am stronger but you got promise you won't do anything to hurt shelf and wait for me. No John dont leave me your all I got please John . listen Jack I will be back for you I never forget my pet just promise me please so I know you be ok . If you swear you be back then I promise I wont do anything you don't approve of . I promise Jack I will be back and I will never forget you I ment it when I said your the most important person in my life .I gonna go now before it gets to hard please keep your promise he kissed Jack on the check and hoped out the window ran away . Jack sat on the floor watching him disappear holding his cheek in complete shock his heart broke he lay on the ground and cried yelling John until he fell asleep .
