Arranged Marriage To The Mafia(JIKOOK)

1-a cursed day

There are times where things happen and you ask God, 'why?' But always remember that God has a reason for why it happened.

Two boys were walking down the streets of Seoul with shopping bags in their hands. One was wearing a baby blue summer shirt and a jeans with a pair of white flats. He had dyed brown hair and brown eyes with a hint of hazel in them. His sun-kissed skin looked smooth and his full lips were a pinky shade colour.

The other boy wore white jeans with a white tank shirt tucked in the waist band of the jeans and a black and red coat with white converse. He had long, dark brown hair and blue eyes like the ocean and sun-kissed skin. These two boys were kim Taehyung and park Jimin . They were both cousins and apart of the Seoul mafia family.

"What do you think I should get your mum?" Taehyung asked, as they entered the shopping centre.

Today was the day that Jimin's parents were returning back from London, and everyone was excited to see them. Most especially Jimin. Growing up, Jimin spent all his childhood in England, and it wasn't until two years ago that him and his family moved to Seoul.

"Maybe a hat?" Jimin said, remembering that his mother loved to wear big summer hats during the summer.

Taehyung had on a thinking face as he looked at all the shops in front of him. He was just about to say something when his phone went off. "They're probably wondering what was taking us so long" he said, as he pulled out his phone from his bag.

The sound of screaming and crying was all he could hear, and Jimin could also hear it from where he stood. "Mum, what's going on?" Taehyung asked, his voice steady and nervous.

Jimin gestured for his cousin to come closer so he could hear what they were talking about. Something was telling him that something had happened. Something bad. He could feel his heart slowly picking up its pace, and then he heard his aunt say something that made his whole body freeze. "It's...it's your aunt and uncle...they...they got hit by a car."

The hospital reception was half crowded. Jimin rushed to the reception with Taehyung at his side. He slammed his hands on the desk. "Mrs park and Mr park" said Jimin , slightly out of breath.

The receptionist looked up at the two boys. "They are currently in surgery" she said. "But there is a waiting room with other members of your family. Follow me."

She took them down the long corridor, and then they made two lefts, and there was a room with Jimin's two aunties and other members of the family. Jimin searched the room for his older brother and two uncles who were nowhere in sight. "Where is yoongi?" He asked.

"They'll be here in a few minutes" said one of his aunts.

He knew that his mother was no longer with them. He knew that she was in a better place now. But what he didn't know was how he was going to tell his little brother .Yoongi was in the room with his father and two uncles. The doctor told them that there was no hope, and that they were to say their goodbyes.

"아버지와 아르메 네 코시 프레스토, 필리오는 한 가지 약속했다"고 그의 아버지는 말했다. "Ho bisogno che tu ti pledge cura di tua sorella. 그래서 anche che un giorno avrai una famiglia tutta tua."

(Son, I'm sorry to leave so soon, but promise me one thing. I need you to take care of your brother. I also know that one day you will have a family of your own.)

Yoongi didn't know where his father was going with that he was telling him when he said that he would have a family of his own in the future. He though that he was talking about the family business, and that he would have to drop it. But when he looked at his father's face, he saw that his eyes were narrowed at his two uncles.

Yoongi frowned and turned around to look at them, and they had shock written on their faces. They knew something that he didn't. "아빠, 무슨 소리 야?

(What are you talking about, dad)

"형제"아버지가 시작되었습니다. "정국과 결혼하겠습니다. 안전을 위해

(Your brother. He will marry Jeon Jungkook )

Yoongi felt his heart skip a beat. He knew his brother, and he knew that he wasn't going to go through with this marriage. He tired telling his father that, but even in his last moments he was still standing by his title, and that was what boss says, goes. "Grant your old man this wish, son" he said. "He will be safe with him, and this was promised to both our families since they were kids."

Yoongi knew that his father wanted what was best for his little brother. Even as children he would keep Jimin out of the underworld. He wanted to make sure that he had no part in the world of crime. But since this was his wish, Yoongi slowly nodded his head, and gave his father a weak smile before his father looked at his uncles. "Please, take care of them."

The three brothers looked at each other, knowing this was their final goodbye. Yuno and Yookson tired holding back their tears as they nodded their heads. "We will, brother" they said.

Jimin was sitting on one of the chairs in the corner of the room. His legs were pulled up to his chest and his head rested against the wall. He had dry tears on his cheeks and his blue eyes were slightly red. He didn't know what he would do if he lost both his parents. He didn't even want to think about it. All he did was try and focus on the good.

The sound of movement caught his attention, and he saw that everyone was getting up. He narrowed his eyes to the entrance of the waiting room, and almost tripped as he too got up from the chair. He pushed his way to the front where he saw his two uncles walking in with his bother following after them. There was a moment of silence as they all waited for either of the three to speak, but they didn't. They were very quiet.

"Well," Jimin said, breaking the silence. The three looked down at him, but didn't say a word. They all had their answer right there.

Uncle Yuno stepped forward and reached his hand out towards Jimin, but he stepped back. "What happened?" He said.

"Jimin-"

"I need to hear it!!"

This was harder than they thought. They stared at Jimin like that have forgotten how to speak. The silence was seem so long and it was slowing killing his inside.

Yoongi looked up from the floor, and sighed, his eyes were glossy and like he was trying very hard not to let the tears out. "They're," he paused and shook his head. "They're gone, Jimin."

Jimin felt like the ground beneath hid feet had disappeared. He felt his heat stop beating for a moment and his blood ran cold. He stared at his brother for a long moment as he slowly began shaking his head. "No," he said, still shaking his head.

Yoongi stepped forward, also reaching his hand out towards his like his uncle did, but Jimin took another step back. His blue eyes were now glossy and looked like the ocean was trapped inside of them. His cheeks became red and hischest rose up and down as he breathed in and out heavily. "No," he said again. "No, this can't be. No, no, no. MUM!! DAD!! NO!! THIS ISN'T REAL!!" Jimin yelled at the top of his lungs.

He began hyperventilating and his heart felt like it was going to explode inside of him. He felt lightheaded and like his legs were jelly. And then, everything turned to slow motion, and like he lost balance before he fell into a dark slumber.

2- Happy Birthday

Yoongi was in the office of the mansion with his cousin, Jhope and two uncles,Yuno and yookson . It's been three years since the death of Mrs park and Mr min. And just like they promised, Yuno and Yookson took care of their brothers children.

Once everyone was told that the head of the  Choi family(WHOLE FAMILY NAME) had passed, his son, Yoongi took over and was proclaimed the head of the family. And just like before, Yoongi and his uncles did everything they could to keep Jimin out of the world of crime. But now that it was a two days before his twenty first birthday they had do step up to what His father asked of them.

"So should we tell him today or tomorrow?" Yuno asked, as he poured himself a glass of whiskey.

Yoongi ran a hand through his hair, as he leaned forward and placed his hands upon the desk. In his head he thought that it would be a good idea to tell him on the same day as his birthday. Why? Because that way he wouldn't have time to think of an escape plan. And if he knew his brother, then he knew he would come up with a plan if they told him before his birthday. "On his birthday," he said.

There was a long pause as they all looked at each other. If this was going to go as planned then everything would be fine. But if not, then it was going to be hell for everyone.

The morning sun had kissed him awake. Slivers of light peeped through the drawn blinds, casting thin golden stripes across his angelic face. He turned over in his bed, and pulled the covers over his head to block out the sunlight that was shining on his face.

And then, out of nowhere, he felt a sudden force on his head. He only knew one person who would do such a thing. "KIM TAEHYUNG CHOI, What's your problem!" He yelled, as he pushed the covers off his head so he could look at his cousin. Taehyung was handsome. He use to have dark brown hair, but he dyed it a few days ago, and now his roots were the same dark brown, but the colour faded into a light brown and then to a caramel colour.

Jimin hated when someone woke him up early in the morning. "Get ready, cousin," said Taehyung, as he walked towards the door. "We're leaving in 20 minutes."

Jimin closed his eyes and sighed at the sound of the door closing. He sat up, looked around his bedroom in silence, before he got up off the bed and got ready.

"That was funny,"Jimin heard as his two cousins were talking about something at the breakfast table.Jimin sat down next to Taehyung, opposite Jhope, his cousin and brother to Taehyung. Jhope was handsome and mischievous. When they were children they would set traps around just to prank their parents and other family members. Jhope had brown hair, sun-kissed skin and brown eyes. Jhope may have been 26, but he had the mind of an eighteen year old.

"Good morning, beautiful cousin" greeted Jhope.

Jimin shot him a grumpy frown, and Jhope's brow shot up. "Never mind. I take that back" he murmured, sarcastically as he grabbed his glass of orange juice.

Once the two boys finished their breakfast, they grabbed their bags and headed to the bus stop to wait for the bus.

It was around six twenty in the afternoon when Jimin and Taehyung were about to leave work and go home. It's been a very long day for Jimin, and all she wanted to do was just sit down and forget about everything that happened at work.

Once Yoongi picked the boys up from work, Taehyung and Jimin both rushed upstairs, changed into something comfortable and then went back downstairs to the kitchen because they were starving.

"No," said Jimin, as he searched the cupboard with the sweets and all the goodies. "It's either Fast five or Fantastic Beasts. Pick."

Taehyung frowned with a heavy sigh as she looked at her cousin. "Fine," He said. "Fantastic Beasts."

Jimin smiled and closed the door of the cupboard before he turned around to look at Taehyung. "Nice choice, cousin" he said, grabbing the sweets before they made their way to the living room.

Time seemed to have flew by after the two cousins watched a few movies, and before hey knew it, it was eleven pm. "Ooh," gasped Taehyung, his hand to his mouth with a handful of popcorn. "It's your birthday tomorrow" he said.Jimin nodded his head. "I still need to get you something- oh, wait, being related to me is already present enough."

Jimin breathed a small laugh as he shook his head. Taehyung yawned. "I'm going to sleep" he said, before making his way out of the living room and to the staircase.

It's been a few since Taehyung retired from the living room to go to sleep, and Jimin was left downstairs alone. Yoongi walked out of the office and was just about to enter the living room, but he stopped halfway and saw his brother. A sudden wave took over him, and he felt his heart skip a beat. Knowing what was going to happen in the following morning, he didn't know how to face him right this second. He turned around and went upstairs.

Jimin felt this overwhelming feeling come over him, and all of a sudden he felt tired. He reached for the remote control to turn the TV off before he went upstairs to his bedroom.

He was in the bathroom, finishing up his hair. He brushed his teeth, paced the the hair brush back down on the dresser that was in the bathroom. It was eight thirty in the morning, and Jimin could smell the breakfast that was being made downstairs.

"Happy Birthday,Jimin" the maids said, as he walked towards the kitchen where she was wished a happy birthday once again.Jimin smiled and thanked them.

After breakfast,Jimin and his cousin planned on going out to do some shopping, but before they could leave the kitchen, Jimin's Godfather walked in. "Jimin," he spoke softly. "Come with me, kid."

He nodded his head, but then turned to Taehyung. "You," He said, pointing a finger at him. "Go get ready. You always take forever."

Taehyung saluted his cousin. "Ay, captain."

They walked towards two double doors that were closed, and inside was Taehyung, Jhope and Yookson, waiting for Yuno and Jimin to join them.

One of the two doors opened, and in walked Jimin and Yuno. The walls of the study were made out of brown oak, and the hardwood floor was a deep brown colour. The Windows starched from the ceiling and down to mid-floor were behind Yoongi as he sat at the desk in the room. Bookshelves were stuffed with all sorts of books. Some were new and some were old with dust on them. A marble fireplace was in the room that had a velvet black sofa facing it with two velvet black armchairs. And in the centre of the room was a chandelier, hanging down from the ceiling.

Yoongi shot his cousin and two uncles a quick, nervous, sideways glance. He prayed that this would go smoothly.

"So,"Jimin began, as he sat down. "What's going on?" He asked, his eyes shifting from each of them.

"This isn't going to go well," muttered Yuno under his breath, making sure that no one heard him.

3-meeting the enemy

He didn't know if this was some sort of joke that Yoongi came up and managed to convince them to play along, or if it was real. He didn't know what to think. He felt as though the whole world had stopped, and he waiting for everyone to shout, "JOKES!"

This had to be a joke, right? Things like this didn't happen anymore, right? This was back in the old day, right?...right?

But nevertheless,Jimin bursted out laughing. He slapped his knee, threw his head back and laughed. He laughed, and laughed, and he could feel his stomach aching. He raised his hand to his cheek and whipped away his tears that emerged from his eyes because of how much he laughed.

"Nice one, Yoongi" he said, through his laugher. "How did you manage to get them to play along, man?" The men in the room didn't respond. He needed a minute to let the information he had been told to sink in.

And that's exactly what happened.Jimin looked at them for a minute, and that's when he saw that they each held serious expressions on their faces. He sat there quietly, watching them, studying them. And then it all hit him like a sack of potatoes all at once. "No," He said. "My answer is, no."

The men in the room all exchanged looks. They knew this was going to be hard. "Jimin," Yuno began, as he stepped forward. "You must understand that we only want what's best for you. This is the best-"

"No."

Yookson sighed, and turned away from him to look at the others. Shrug his shoulders and dropped his hands down by his sides. "Sister, this-"

Jimin stood up, and took a step forward. "This isn't fair" he said. "I don't want to marry him and I won't."

"You're father wanted this. This was his dying wish," said Yuno. "We only want what's best for you-"

"What's best for me?"Jimin scoffed, as he pointed a finger at himself. He exhaled a cold and dry laugh as he shook his head. "No, you want what's best for you. All of you do. You only see how this can benefit you, but you never ask what I want-"

And just like that, something snapped within Yoongi. He slammed his hand on table and then poured a finger at his brother.Jimin bit his tongue as he looked at his brother with wide, glossy eyes. "You will marry him, and that is final" he said, his voice was demanding and dangerous. This was the tone he used on the men that worked for the family when they didn't do as told. This was the tone he used when he tired to scare someone off. "He will attended the party and that's final."

Jimin held his head up high, trying her very best not to cry. He turned around and walked out of the room and rushed upwards to his bedroom.

He  locked the door, pressed his back against it and held his  breath so his tears wouldn't leave his eyes. I won't cry, he told himself, I won't. He was too scared to cry out or wail, he just stood there as still as a statue. He blinked, and the tears dripped from his eyelids and slid down his cheeks. He bit his lip tightly in attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape from his mouth.

He knew if someone saw they would think he was being over dramatic, hysterical, overreacting. But they wouldn't understand because being told that you can create your own fairytale, and never breaking the rules, it's like you are being betrayed.

There was a knock at the door and then a voice followed. "Jimin, its me Taehyung. Please, open the door."Jimin took in a deep breath and whipped her tears. He don't want everyone to know that he had been crying.

He turned around and unlocked the door, to find not only his cousin outside in the hallway, but his Godmother and auntie too. He moved to the side, opening the door even more for them so they could enter.

Jiminleft the door open, and he walked to his dresser, leaning against it. There was a short moment of silence before Jimin's Godmother broke it. "It's going to be fine, sweetheart" she said, and that's all Jimin needed to set him off.

Tears began rolling down his cheeks, and this time, he  was crying out loud. His Godmother and auntie walked over to him and held him  in a tight embrace. They knew that once married into the underworld, there was no turning back. It wasn't a marriage for a day, or a week or a month. It was a marriage for life.

The two women tired to calm him down, telling him that everything was going to be fine, that he would be safe, that he  would have everything a guy would wish for. But Jimin shook his head. "No," he  said. "It's not going to be alright. What if he doesn't treat me as an equal? Or even care if I'm somewhere but drowning in my own tears? You all say these things, but how can you be so sure?" He asked. "This isn't fair. I should at least be with someone I like."

The two women looked at each other. "Darling," said his auntie, as she tucked a strand of Jimin's hair behind his ear. "Royals. Princes. Kings do not have that luxury. And since you are a Desamprada, you are royalty in this world that we live in."

Jimin looked at his  auntie, understanding where she  was coming from and it was the truth. Being a Desamparada was royalty in this world that they lived in. It was a name that was respected.

It's been a few hours, and Jimin didn't leave his room. He cancelled his plans with his cousin who still went out shopping without him.

There was a knock at the door, and in walked Taehyung with shopping bags. He almost felt sick just by looking at them. Why so bloody early? He thought, and he figured that it was probably the work of his  so-called brother, Yoongi. He knew if he was told sooner ge would have been on a plane with no trail to follow.

It was time for the party to begin, and the guests were arriving to celebrate Jimin's birthday. The sky was pitch black with stars, looking as though they were scattered sugar. The guests parked their cars in the dry way, and the sound of chatter and laughers filled the air. The lights glistened in the French windows throughout the mansion, and somewhere in the dark garden played a fountain.

Jimin was upstairs, getting ready. He wore a navy blue suit which was slightly low cut on the front and long on the back. A white shirt that had designs, embroidery and lace on it. Black shoes and his  brown hair was parted down the middle and he wore a silver watch set.

He  looked at himself in the mirror, and took a deep breath as he  held his head up high. Every family has to have that one person who never done anything wrong, who never broke any of the rules, who did as was told to only be the one with who would carry a burden on their shoulders. But even if that burden would be hard, heavy or would strip them away from what they truly want, they wouldn't say a word. They would keep their mouth shut, and tell themselves that everything was going to be fine.

The ballroom was elegant and luxurious. The round tables dominated the space, but still held a large amount of space for people to walk around and dance, and each table had a bouquet for white and red roses that shimmered. Magnificent chandeliers hung down from the high ceiling with diamonds. The floor beneath it all was marble, and with the cream walls, and tall mullioned windows that stretched from the ceiling down to the floor, it was a perfect place for a party.

Jimin and Taehyung looked around the room, searching. "Don't you look hot," said Jhope as he approached his brother and cousin. The two boys smiled. Jhope pulled his phone out, went to his camera and said, "oh, it's just me." This made the guys rolled their eyes at him, while he laughed.

Yuno and Yookson approached the three cousins just when they finished their conversation. They stopped in front of them and smiled. "Boys , you look handsome" they complimented them.

Jimin and Taehyung smiled and thanked them, but Jimin's smile quickly turned into a serious expression in a matter of one second. "So," he began. "Where is he?" His tone was murderous, when he asked that.

The two men looked at each other, and just when they were about to speak, Yoongi approached them all and not alone. By his side stood was a man wearing a black suite with a white shirt underneath and a black tie. He was tall and slim, but the way he held himself made him incredibly intimidating. And he was extremely handsome. His jet black hair was slick like a sweeping tide of obsidian and out of his face, revealing his handsomely carved facial features.

"Jimin," said his Godfather, Yuno. "This is Jeon jungkook."

To say that he  was shocked would be an understatement. He couldn't believe her eyes or his ears. This man, standing before was who he was to marry? This man was his husband-to-be? Jeon Jungkook? They were handing her in the hands of a monster, as they whisper about him.

Jimin placed his hands behind his back, fighting the urge of not swigging his hand at him and smacking him.

Jungkook smirked at him.He wasn't tall, even though he was wearing high shoe. But he was handsome- no, that's a understatement. He was exquisite. From his looks, to how he dressed, to his  body. He was exquisite.

He watched as he placed his hands behind his back, and a smirk tugged at his lips. He held his hand out towards him. "Your brother and uncles have told me a lot about you," he said, with a quick wink that went unnoticed, except for him. "It's a pleasure."

Jimin looked at his hand and then looked back up at him. The nerve, he thought to himself. He forced a sly smile and reached his hand out. "I can't say the same for you."

Jhope bursted out laughing, Taehyung was trying so hard to hold his laughter in. Yoongi looked down at the floor with a smile on his face while shaking his head, and Yuno and Yookson had shock written all over their faces. "Now if you'd excuse us" he said, before grabbing Taehyung by the arm pulled him away from them.

It's been about half an hour, and Jimin spent his time greeting and catching up with some of the guests.

"Happy birthday,Chim!"

A familiar voice bellowed.Jimin turned around to come face to face with his best friend, Taemin. He had long, dark dirty blonde hair that looked almost golden, brown eyes which turned light brown when the sun hit it and caramel-like skin

It's been a year since Taemin  had left and went to England because of his grandmother who wasn't feeling well. "It's so good to see you- I have something to tell you." And so,Jimin told his best friend about the news.

Taemin looked at her friend with a

serious expression once he finished telling him all about what was going on. "Is that him?" He asked, gesturing to Jungkook with fire in his eyes as he sent him a disgusting glance.

Jimin laugher and pulled his friend into another embrace. "Oh, I missed you" he said.

Jimin made his way to his bedroom to retrieve his phone. The hallway was empty and he could still hear the music very clearly, but then it faded until he  could no longer hear it.

He  opened the door to his room, and walked towards the nightstand, but when he  turned around to leave his heart stopped for a small second. He  held his phone tightly in his hand and his gazed at him with a look that could kill. "Your friend should be here to chaperone you," Jeongguk said, as he walked in the room uninvited.Jimin  kept his mouth closed. He didn't wish to speak to him. Jungkook watched his ounce silence for a moment before he scoffed at him, turned around and closed the door. "Or perhaps he knows a chaperone is pointless, in your case," he said, turning to look at him.

Jimin felt his heart shaking inside of him  when the doors closed. He  didn't know him and he didn't feel comfortable being in the same room as him. He needed to trust him, but it appeared that, that wasn't the case for him. So he stood his ground and held his head up high. "Foolish to close the stable door when the horse has long since bolted," he continued.

"Oh, but that filly loved his stolen freedom more than you could know," he said.

And just like that, Jungkook's strong jaw was set and his eyes narrowed at him as he made his way towards him.Jimin was about to step back, to keep him distance from him, but he was too late. Jungkook had grabbed him by the arm and held him in place. "What are you - let go of me!" He struggled. "So this is how you treat guys you meet?"

"If we want to make this work we're both need to learn how to tolerate each other—"

"I don't even know you!" Jimin  shouted. "I have to trust you first, and the only way I know that to happen is through friendship—"

Jungkook laughed. "I know that you need to trust me first, and in time you will. But if we want to make this work we have to be civil," he said. "And I'm not going to be your friend, love. I'm your husband."

"Don't you drop the gun on that!" He hissed at him.Jimin fought the urge not to shiver. Just hearing the word 'husband' made his insides feel like someone was squeezing them violently. "I never wanted this. I wanted to marry for love and find happiness. I hand goals and ambitions!"

Jungkook held him closer to his chest as he leaned down slightly. He looked deeply into his eyes, as if searching for something. "With all my heart, I don't want to marry you either," he said softly. "But I am told I must— for our families so they are united. My heir must have some of your blood in his veins, as well as mine."Jimin gazed up at him and for the first time he saw the true colour of his eyes; Green. The kind of green that pushed its way through the piles of gritty snow to remind you that spring was coming. That churning, passionate green that the ocean turns during a storm. That colour of the forest after it rains.

"You think you have a choice?" He asked. "You think you have free will in this? I'm sure you've heard the tales, and I do not."

There was a long silence that followed. If he didn't have a say in this, he knew that no matter what he would do it would be pointless. There was no way out. This was all so unfair.

Jiminlooked away, and blinked a few times to stop the tears from blurring his vision. He was going to go through with this.

The lights in the ballroom had dimmed slightly, as they sang happy birthday.Jimin was smiling a big and happy smile, that was convincing. He  had everyone in that ballroom fooled. He  even had his bother and uncles fooled.

He leaned forward and blew the candles out, and loud cheers and applause broke from everyone. He narrowed his eyes to Jungkook for a small moment, before he tore his eyes away from and looked towards the crowd, smiling.
