Two best friends have known each other since kindergarten.

Named Mary and Sophia

Sophia is older than Mary.

Mary was the Youngest.

They we're walking together to their school; it was 6:30 a.m.; they we're laughing and smiling while walking.

But suddenly Sophia saw a new guy coming to their school gate.

He was wearing their uniform and a mask. Sophia asked Mary if she knew this guy.

Mary replied, “I don't know who he is; maybe he's new or something like that?”

After that, we came inside the gates, and showed our ID to the guard.

We were so curious about the guy we saw earlier; he was kind of a mystery, and after that, Mary and I got inside our classroom.

We checked the time, it was 6:55am. While we were waiting, we saw our professor with a guy who was wearing a mask. I was familiar with him, and any minute he stares at the class, I remember that he was the guy who me and Mary saw earlier. After looking at him for quite a while.

Suddenly Mary shakes me, and suddenly my daydream was ruin, and she sees that I was staring at the new guy that was in front of us. Suddenly, our professor talks and asks the new guy for his introduction.

And can he take off his mask so his classmate, that means us.

When he takes off his mask, everyone gasps because of his pure and handsome face.

After that, he introduces himself.

I am Asher, 21 years old, and I hope we all get along very well.

He said it with a smile on his face.

As asher introduce him self to to the class, he saw two girls chatting and talking while looking at him

as noticeable, it was me and Mary.

The two of us were talking about how handsome he was when we saw Asher in front of us.

As our professor pointed a sit beside me, giving Asher a sign to sit there

and suddenly I looked defiantly at Mary, and I saw an annoyance mixed with a jealousy expression, but I gave it aside.

I think maybe she was having problems with her family again.

So after that, I nodded to our professor to give him a sign that Asher could sit next to me for the whole year.

After Asher sits with me, I introduce myself.

“Hi, my name is Sophia, and I am 19 years old. Nice to meet you, Asher, can we be friends?”

Asher replied

“Sure, but you can call me Ash for short if you want,” he said with a cold and deep voice.

After the third subject, it was our break time of 30 minutes

Mary and I were in the canteen, sitting and chatting at a table.

But suddenly a group of girls came to us and said some mean words, saying that we have to stay and don't talk to Asher, his “senior." We roll our eyes and don't respond to them because we are not looking for a fight and don't want to get anyone hurt, but when they cross the line, there is no coming back and no choice to fight back from them.

They are so lucky because I was in a great mood this time, and some freshman will say that we are bad students.

One thing about me and Mary: we are in the student council i am the president, and Mary is the secretary.

And next week, there will be a freshman year party that will be presented by me.

After the incident that the mean girls had, the bell was ringing to give a sign to the student, signifying that the break time was over.

Mary and I sit on our seats and waits for our next teacher, while Asher is reading a book.

I asked him what he was reading, but he didn't respond, so I didn't push it.

I just looked at Mary, who was looking at me and Asher, but when I looked at her, she looked at the board like nothing happened. Furthermore, I was concerned about her problem and decided to ask and tell her something.

After our school, me and Mary goes home together because we are just neighbors, and we just walk home.

While we were walking i asked what was bothering her all day, and she said it was nothing, but i am sure that she was hinting at something from me.

So as she said, it was nothing; I just said okay.

It has been days since I was too busy working and writing the speech.

I saw that Mary calls me 10x, but I didn't answer because my phone was in silent mode.

I apologized and explained to her what I was doing when she was calling me.

Not only that, but I was worried that she would be mad at me, so I asked her, Let's go to the park tomorrow.

As tomorrow is sunday im free, after i put down my phone and turn off my computer i go and shower and goes to sleep.

It was Sunday, and as usual, we always wait for each other at the gate of our home.

We were having fun at the same time, chatting and making each other smile.

And I decided to tell her that I was catching some feelings for Asher.

She said it was ok, but I knew that she was not happy, and I asked her if she liked him too.

She said she didn't because he was not her type i just said okay and asking if she was sure, because i didn't want her to be sad and be mad at me, but hopefully she was not mad, after the long day, me and Mary said goodbye to each other because it was already dark, and we were home safe and sound.

Monday was the time for the freshman year party. 

The principal calls me to make the speech to the new students of Starlight Academy.

After 20 minutes of speech, the principal calls Asher to make a small speech about how he feels about my speech earlier.

I was shocked because he liked it, and so did the other new student. After welcoming them and introducing the school to them, they were shouting and smiling about the fun and lovely school they attended and transferred to.

After the long day, it was Tuesday, regular class, and becoming close to Asher.

And two weeks past, Asher always, and I always talked, especially when Mary was there. Mary was happy, as was me.

A lot of girls in other sections and in my class were jealous of me.

Because Asher and I were so close, we had known each other for years, but I just love his company.

After one month, Mary and I meet a girl who wants to be friends with us. We say sure.

Her name was Kylie; they were in the same class and section as us.

She was like our best friends for us, Mary.

But suddenly, one day something happens, and me and Kylie don't know what to do.....
