After an exhausting day, our main protagonist, Luca, decided to take a nap. As he slipped into the realm of dreams, an unexpected visitor emerged, shrouded in a dark mist. The mysterious figure expressed disdain, exclaiming, "How was I drawn to such a weak and feeble-looking human?" Clearly disappointed by the apparent mismatch, the summoned being began to sever the dream link connecting them.

However, Luca, unfazed and displaying unexpected bravado, began to mock the being, criticizing its decision to break the link without granting him a fair trial. In response to Luca's taunts,he started laughing hysterically stating"VERY WELL, I'M Lucifer, THE KING OF DEMONS LET THE TRIAL COMMENCE," he declared with an ominous tone, setting the stage for an otherworldly confrontation.

Luca was shocked by this revelation, finding out that he could possibly make a pact with the king of demons. Luca is now more determined to win Lucifer's trail for his "DREAM" is to become the strongest dreamer in the world. This trial is titled "duel of the shadows" out of the 100 humans that lucifer has appeared to only "one" has ever prevailed. The rules are simply defeat your opponent with one of the six weapons provided.

The rules seemed simply enough Luca stated, but....there must be catch. Luca observed all six weapons which possess an unique abilities of it's own,he examined the enemy he was about to face and thought to himself which weapon will help him win this battle. Luca decided on going with the shield of minds, This shield not only reflect physical attacks but also mental attacks.

Upon Luca's selection, Lucifer revealed a sly smirk and signaled for the demon to unleash havoc. To Luca's surprise, Lucifer unveiled the demon to be a mind bender, a demon proficient in mental attacks. The Shield of Minds, it appeared, was the ideal choice against this adversary. Lucifer, amused by Luca's decision, remarked, "How interesting. Will he be able to withstand it?".

Luca: "Okay, let the battle be-"

The mind bender immediately teleported in front of Luca, launching a punch. Luca successfully blocked the punch with the mind shield but had a nervous look on his face.

As the punch connected with the mind shield, a loud bell sound was heard, causing Luca to scream, stating that it felt like his mind was going to break.

Tears began flooding from Luca's face as he struggled to dodge the attacks from the mind bender. Luca regretted choosing the shield as his weapon because it only allowed him to focus on defense.

Luca's thought process was damaged from receiving a direct hit from the mind bender, making it painful for him to even think about his next move. Just as he looked up, his vision became blurry.

Though his loss of vision seemed to be from the mind bender's repetitive attacks, it was actually Luca attempting to leave the dream world, which would cause him to lose the chance of forming a pact with Lucifer.

The next scene shows Luca opening his eyes and lifting his head. A hand covered in darkness holds Luca by his face, forcing him back into the dream world with his only question being, "HOW!?"

"I thought beings from our dreams were unable to have any 'Physical' contact with our world. How? How? How?" Luca said as he was being pushed back into the dreamworld.

The second Luca landed, Lucifer emitted a dark essence with anger on his face. He spoke these words, "Hmm, where did all that talk go? I thought you wanted a fair trial, not to run away from one like a coward. How humiliating, utterly humiliating."

Lucifer ordered the mind bender to attack and not stop until Luca drew his last breath. Hearing this, Luca quickly picked up the shield and prepared to tackle this demon. With newfound motivation, Luca surprisingly began the attack.

This time it seemed that Luca was fighting back. Lucifer seemed excited that a battle between a coward and a formidable opponent was underway right before his eyes.

Which was strange since Lucifer, being the king of demons, had seen many battles and the weak cowering before him. He thought to himself, "Why is this human so intriguing to me? Was it because he challenged me before? Hmm, what could this be?"

As his attention was drawn to the fight, Luca landed a blow on the mind bender, revealing the true power of the mind shield.

"Once one is struck by the mind shield, the shield will begin to deconstruct the opponent's mind and absorb them with the construct of the shield."

The demon was vanquished, and the trial was completed. Lucifer began to say that he was still not proven wrong and chose to follow the rules of the world, forming a pact with Luca.

Luca whispered to himself, saying, "Oh, now you want to follow the rules?" He said with a pouting face.

The two have now formed a pact. Lucifer said to Luca that he should return to the real world and get some rest, for it was much needed for what's to come. He said ominously.

The night for Luca ended with him sleeping after the trial had ended.

The day began with many waking up to the headmaster's update, with the news that the demon king has been claimed.

Many were shocked by this news. A mysterious group known as the "Lumina Devourer" caught wind of this information and was extremely excited as they may have just found their 13th member.

The leader of the Headmasters is a man named Juan Moral and is currently in a pact with the god "Metatron," one who grants their partners the ability to know everything. He is one of the ones who organized "THE 100," a list created by the headmasters to show the 100 most powerful dreamers in the world.

They reported that this mysterious person who claimed Lucifer could be at the top of the charts someday.
