Miyoko Hazegawa:

Opens my dairy and read,"7th May 2018,Naoko lend me her notebook today in class."

Turns my dairy to the first page,“10th July 2009,I saved someone from drowing,I don't remember who but by looking at his uniform he studies at the same school as mine."

I closed my diary and checks at the times,7:00 , mom is calling me downstairs for breakfast.

I ran downstairs and sees everyone eating breakfast,my parents and my younger sister.I woke up every morning and the first thing that comes up in my mind was to go downstairs and wish them good morning.

You might say why the urge,well it's because i am suffering from Alzheimer,which means that you forget things but in my case,I tend to forget people.Iused to remember them the whole day but the next morning I would forget with whom I spend my day with.

Every single day the moment before going to sleep,I used to pray that I would remember everyone from today but when I woke up the next day my parents and my sister are the only ones that I remember.

The only thing that I remembered of yesterday were the things I did but I couldn't remember with whom,except eating lunch with my best friend, walking home with her and the things we did together.

You have no idea how happy I am to see my best friend waiting at the front door for me to go to school together.

The moment i saw her outside I would call her name out loud and she would put on a big smile and ask me if I remembered what we did yesterday and I would tell her what we did as if she wasn't there and by the time we almost reached school,I would've finished telling her everything and she would give me a big hug and shouts,“You remembered." And we would end up in laughter.

But there were days I had to spent alone because she wasn't there along with me or either she would be absent,then I used to write the persons name in my dairy and what we did together and the next day I would explain it to kaede,my best friend and she would show me who the person was.

For instance, today I have to returned Noako's notebook back,as I borrowed it from her yesterday but I don't know who she was even though I clearly remembered that I asked it from her. It was like she was wearing a mask the whole day that I couldn't tell who she was today.But Kaede is here she will show me or I could just shout out Noako's name in front of the class.

Pretty much everyone knows about my situation,some took advantage of it ,some felt sad,some supports and helped me cope with it.But it doesn't matter as long as Kaede's with me, I don't care about anything else.

Miyoko Hazegawa:

"8th May 2018,Kaede was absent,as expected I had to shout out Naoko's name in the class to return her notebook.

And a new boy joined our school today ,his name was Kazou Arakaki ,and we even talked during break since we were the only one in class,thanks to you Kaede you had to be absent.

I had to show him around the school though I couldn't introduce anyone to him, he must've thought that something is wrong with me,his face says it all.But luckily Rumiko introduced herself to him and she introduced him to everyone in class.I was saved,I'll have to thank Rumiko for this."

Today is the 9th of May, I had a dream of the boy I saved,again. I woke up,got dressed ate my breakfast and went to school. I told Kaede what happened yesterday,she was so excited to see him, I couldn't remember his looks not until I will see him again and I told her about the awkward moments that happened.When he was starting at a girl for so long and I couldn't even tell him her name and I just sat there quietly and also started staring at the girl trying to remember her name.

My best friend laughed all the way to school and I couldn't help but to laughed along with her.

Before entering the class, Kadea pointed at the new boy who was sitting quietly surrounded by a few boys.

"what was his name?" She asked.I guickly went through my dairy to check for his name and said,"Kazou Arakaki."

All of a sudden Kaede's face were red and excitedly said to me,"He's soo handsome,you guys would be perfect for each other."

I hit her on the head and said,"Don't say stupid things,he just came yesterday we don't want to scare him on his first day and besides I wouldn't even be able to remember his name."

We went to sit at our desk,I sit next to the window besides him and Kaede sits next to him.

I introduced Kaede to him so that he wouldn't think that I am a loner. I was surprised to know that he knew Kaede and was more surprised that he knew me.

Maybe I forgot about him, maybe I met him on the streets somewhere, I kept thinking but I couldn't remember.

Then some boy called him and he went.

I quickly pulled Kayde aside and asked,"How come he knows us?"."You don't remember right, your face is saying it all."she teases me ,"He was a student here before ,we used the sit in a same class but then he went to study abroad because of his father's work."

"But how come I don't remember, I would have remember him if he was my friend."I said.

"That's because he wasn't ,he was a rich kid and still is and was very famous back then and still is, look at him surrounded by the students like he's some celebrity ,he was a bully and he used to bully you back then and you hated him since that time."she said.

That explains why he kept on saying sorry to me yesterday but how come I don't remember him.

I was lost in thoughts. But then Rumiko, my other friend, called me.I have three friends Rumiko,Naoko and my best friend Kaede.I remember their names and how they looked because I have pictures of them with their names written below at the back of my dairy as for Kaede I don't have to because she is special to me that I couldn't forget her she is more than my best friend more like a family member.

So,Rumiko called to ask me whether we'll eat lunch together but I didn't bring my lunch today so I guess I'll have to buy from the canteen today along with kaede she never brings her lunch that is because she has a crush on the canteen boy.

He is just a few years older then her, pretty much all the girls have a crush on him but Kaede is different, one day she went and confessed to him,obviously she got rejected but she continued to ask him out out.

For some time she stopped, she heard some rumors saying that he was dating some other girl outside school but eventually they broke up and she continued asking him out, that day was the happiest day of her life I remember the look on her face when she heard the news that they broke up with each other.

So, we went to the canteen and I was surprised to see that the canteen was less crowded today maybe because of the new boy,which was good for us and especially Kaede,she said to me,"This is my chance,he wont reject me this time since most of the girls are not interested in him anymore thanks to that new boy ,let's hurry before it gets crowded again." She rushed to the canteen.

It was always awkward for me when she asked him out everytime,like last time she recited a love quote from a famous author,I couldn't remember what it was but it was very cocky, the boy just ignored her and stared at me strangely.I wonder what she we will say this time.

So, we were standing at the counter and the boy came to ask our order and she said," I want a hot and sexy lonely canteen boy whose scared he would end up alone because his popularity got drained by a new boy in school." I just stood there awkwardly and watch the boy ignore her and went to take two cream buns since they were her usual order and handed it to her.

After we got our order we went to sit somewhere and she would get very angry at me since I can't stop laughing and she would get more angrier when I told Rumiko and Naoko and we would burst into laughter.

The rest of the days would just passed like that.

The next day was just the same , me and Kaede would walk to school together and recall what happened yesterday and we would laughed all the way to school.Classes were the same,boring as always.The canteen was less crowded as yesterday and Kaede as expected would rush to the canteen and hit on the boy with another of her cheesy pickup lines and I would burst into laughter as always. And the rest of the day would be the same.

Except after our last class of the day,Kazou turned to me an asked whether I still remembered him or not,I knew he was referring to when we were young but I couldn't remember anything so I got nervous and said,"Your name is Kazou Arakaki right ,so I still remember you."

But then he reminded me,"No,I meant when we were young,do you still remember.I used to bully you."I kept quiet as I didn't know what to say."About that,I want to say that I'm sorry."he apologized to me about something I don't even remember but then Kaede called me,I was so nervous and I didn't know what to say so I just got up from my seat and ran out of the class.

I told Kaede what happened and she asked me weather I remembered or not what he did but I couldn't remember no matter how hard I tried to.

Then she told me,"It was a few days before you saved that boy from drowning.Kazou, he used to bully you everyday but the next you would forgot who did it,no one knew about your condition that time, and you be nice to him again. The next morning he would bully you again, one day he snatch your diary from your hand and you kept asking it back but he kept teasing you and threw it down the bridge and you burst in tears and jumped off the bridge to searched for it.

I couldn't help but see you struggling searching for it as if it were so precious that you would die if you lost it,so I offered to help you searched for it also that was the day we became friends as for your dairy unfortunately we couldn't find it and Kazou just stood above the bridge watching us struggle searching your dairy.

The next day and the day after that we stood above the bridge hoping that we could find it by chance,you kept crying,that was when I knew about your sickness.The next day I was absent and you stood there alone on the bridge sobbing, then a boy came and somehow he saw your dairy and jump off the bridge to grab it but he didn't know how to swim and was struggling to stay up but then you jumped to save him.The next day you felt sick and you couldn't remember who the boy was as for Kazou he got suspended and he went to study abroad.So!!do you have some flashbacks."

I kept queit and said nothing till I reached home.
