"Y/N-Chan! Over here!" Upon hearing your name, you turn and smile. "Hey Yuu! it's been so long, huh?" You say. The Nishinoya runs up to you, engulfing you in a hug, despite being shorter than you. "How ya been?! I haven't seen you since you moved away at the last year of grade school!" He says. Nodding, you put his head. "Yeah. I've been well. How bout you Noya? You Still Playing volleyball?" You ask. Noya nods rapidly. "I'm known as Karasuno's Guardian Diety." He says, proudly pointing to himself. "Well of course! Your receives are amazing!" You say, laughing. "How bout you, you still play?" You nod and pull your bag off your shoulders. Opening it, you pull out a black and red volleyball. "I was planning on joining the girls team here. I painted this the other day. Doesn't it look cool?" You smile and hold it up, spinning the ball on your fingers. "Yeah! It's really cool! Hey, you should come meet my teammates!" Noya says, grabbing your hand. "Can I really?! That'd be great!" You say. Noya smiles and nods and starts running, dragging you behind him. Soon, you both reach the gym. "Here, put on your shoes and come on in." Noya tells you. You nod and quickly change your shoes, following the libero into the gym. Your eyes widen in excitement as you see all the guys practicing. "Wow! They all look so cool!" You say. "Yeah. HEY GUYS!!" Noya tells. The boys all stop and look over at where we were. "Well well well, Noya. Whose this lovely lady?" You hear someone say. Looking, you see a guy with a shaved head smirking and staring at you. "Wassup? I'm Y/N L/N. It's nice to meet cha!" You say, smiling brightly with your hands on your hips. "Hehe I'm Tanaka Ryunnōske. Noya, where'd you find a beauty like this?" the guys asks. "I've known Yuu since grade school." You say. "What?! That long?! So that makes you like, childhood friends or something right?" A little Ginger boy says. You nod and put your arm around Noya's neck. "That's right!" You say. Noya laughs and nods too. "Noya you lucky bastard!" Tanaka yells. You laugh and give him a thumbs up. Looking around, you take in the physical features of each person. Eventually, your eyes land on a dark haired boy. He seemed to be a second year, like you and Noya, and was taller. You noticed his cheeks redden a little when his eyes came into contact with yours. He waves a little to you. You feel your own cheeks heat up as you wave back. "So, Y/N... This is my team."

You bow to all the boys. The boys all introduce themselves to you. Just from them saying their names, you could get a feel of their personalities. Hinata was a ball of energy like Noya. Tanaka was flirty, also like Noya. Kageyama seems nice but also seems to get annoyed easily. Daichi and Suga are really nice and care a lot from what you could tell. Tsukkishima... well he kinda bothered you but he seemed pretty okay. Yams was adorable. "H-hello, I'm Ennoshita Chikara." They boy who waved at you earlier bowed to you and smiled after saying his name. You couldn't help but smile at the way his cheeks reddened upon looking at you again. You smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you Ennoshita. I like your name." You say. His blush deepens. "Y-You do?" he asks. You nod. "Yeah. Chikara. It means Power." You say. He smiles and laughs a little. "Oh yeah, It does." Smiling, you turn to the next person. After the boys introduced themselves to you, They had went back to practice. "Hey, Yuu!" You called out. He stopped and looked at you. "I'm gonna go! I'm signing up for the team now before they leave, Kay? I'll text you later." You call out after changing your shoes. Noya nods and gives you a thumbs up. "Good luck Y/N!" He calls back. you smile and wave, saying by to the rest of the boys, then run off to the girls volleyball gym.

{Ennoshita POV}

'Team? what team?' "Hey Nishinoya! What team was she talking about?" I asked. Noya looks at me and smirks. "Why do you wanna know? You like her? And don't lie, I saw that blush when she was talking to you." He said. I felt my cheeks heat up again at the thought of her. "What? No! I couldn't possibly like her if I only just met her! I just wanna know what team she was trying out for." I try convincing him to get off my back about this. Truth is, I'm not actually sure if I do. I mean, sure she's really pretty and seems really nice. But I can't like someone I just met not even half an hour ago...right? "She's trying out for the Girls volleyball team. I guess she wanted to catch Michimiya- chan before their practice was over." Nishinoya said. "Girls volleyball huh? She's played before?" I asked. Noya smiles brightly and nods. "Hell yeah. And she's really good at it too. I tried convincing her to become a libero like me. She'd be really good at it to. But she wanted to be a spiker. I remember her telling me how she was her middle school's Ace for their team. A wing spiker." He said. I tilted my head. "You didn't go to middle school together?" Tanaka asks, suddenly joining the conversation. "No. She moved away after our last year of grade school. This is actually my first time seeing her in person since then. We kept in touch throughout the years though." Noya says. I nod help clean up as we end our practice for the day. "Hey, Chikara." I hear Tanaka's voice ring out behind me. "Oh hey Tanaka. What's up?" I ask. I noticed Nishinoya wasn't with him like usual. "Hey, Don't think I didn't notice how you got all flustered when Y/N mentioned your name. You like her, don't you?" He asks. "U-umm w-well..." Tanaka laughs as I try to stutter out an answer. "I don't blame you dude! That girl is smoking hot! I'm surprised Noya hasn't hit on her yet! Though, I can tell he likes her too. Having history with her might give him the advantage of your not quick to attack." He says. "A-attack? What are you talking about?" I ask. Tanaka laughs again and puts his hands behind his head as he walks. "I mean, if you wait to long, your gonna miss your chance and Noya's gonna take her instead." Tanaka says. My eyes widen at his words. "Good God Tanaka! You give such good advice on this stuff but you can't get a girl yourself!" I say. He growls at me and tries lunging at me but I dodge it. "Dammit Ennoshita! You don't know what your talking about." He says. I laugh and shake my head, thinking over his words. 'I need to act before she gets taken away...'

After saying bye to the boys, you made your way over to the girls volleyball gym. There, you found the girls just about wrapping up their afternoon practice. "H-hello." you call out, getting the attention of the players. "Oh! You must be the new player. I was told you'd be coming today." One of the girls had said. She seemed to be a few inches taller than you. She had short brown hair and a cute smile on her face. "Yeah. I'm Y/N L/N. It's nice to meet you." You say, bowing to her. She bows back and smiles at you. "I'm Michimiya. I'm the captain of the girls team." She said. "Nice to meet you Michimiya." You say. She introduced you to the rest of the girls on the team and asks you a few things while the girls clean up. "What position do you play?" She asked first. "Wing spiker. I can use both my hands so I'm good on either side." You say. "You can use both hands? Wow that's amazing!" She says. you laugh and nod. "Thank you." "Alright, next question. Is there anything we should know about you? Like personal preferences or food allergies?" she asks. You shake your head. "Not really, no. But I do have to warn you. I can get... excited at times. I've been told I get really loud. I know I'm energetic though." You say. Michimiya laughs and shakes her head. "No, that's fine. It's good that you have energy." She says. You smile and nod. She continues asking you basic things. some things don't even have to do with volleyball. Eventually, she asks if you had met the boys team. You nod and laugh. "I met them earlier. Nishinoya is a childhood friend of mine and he introduced me." You say. "Nishinoya? I should've figured. Your pretty similar to him." She says. You laugh and nod. "Except I'm not perverted like him." You say. You both laugh. "Well alright! I think it's safe to say you can join us at practice tomorrow." Michimiya says to you. Your face lights up with excitement. "Really! Thank you so much!" You hug her happily but back away apologising. "Ah, sorry. I got excited." She laughs and shakes her head. "It's fine. I'll see you tomorrow Kay? Get home safe." She says. You nod and leave the gym as she heads to the clubroom to change with the rest of the girls. You walk towards your home with an extra bounce in your step. "Hey!! Y/N-Chan!" You heard a familiar voice behind you. Looking back, you saw Nishinoya and Hinata coming up to you with Kageyama walking behind them. "Hey Yuu. Hinata. Hi Kageyama." You say, greeting them. "I heard you're joining the girls volleyball team. How'd it go?" Hinata asks. He was bouncing in place. You laughed and pat his head. "It went great! Michimiya said I could join practice tomorrow." You say. "That's great! Congrats." You hear kageyama say. You thank him and turn, continuing your walk home. "You want me to walk you home Y/N?" Noya asked. Hinata and kageyama waved bye to you and Noya then headed their own way. "Yeah, that's be great." You say. Noya walks beside you as you walk home. "Hey, Y/N... I need to tell you something..." Noya says suddenly. You look.at him, your usual smile on your face. "What is it Yuu? Is something wrong?" You noticed his face seemed a bit red and he wasn't looking at you. "Are you okay? Your face is red. Are you sick?" You asked. You put your hand against his forehead and cheeks. They were warm but not enough to be sick. He grabs your wrist and moves them away from his face. "Y/N I..." He starts. You tilt your head at him, wondering what he was going to say. He groaned and looked away again. "I-I... I like you Y/N."
