Kayla's POV/

Perfect! no more lacking. Wow! I am such a great decorator. Tomorrow is my best friend's engagement ceremony and she told me to decorate the hall instead of calling a decorator. I forgot to mention I've also designed her engagement gown.

"Ms. Lopez!! My lady is calling you upstairs. She needs help for her gown," one of the maid said.

"Can't she wait a bit? Okay, I'm going please put those flowers out there and the don't forget to check the white fairy lights behind the curtains."

I rushed to her room . As soon as I opened the door I saw her tender figure was trying to fix her dress.

"Hey, bride. Your engagement is tomorrow I guess," I stepped forward to help her with the dress.

"The dress is so elegant that I couldn't help to give it a try now. Thank you for making my engagement special."

"Enough, don't flatter over a simple gown save some for the wedding gown." I smirked.

"Okay, I am imagining something really fabulous and beautiful."

"Done, let me see," I pulled her before the mirror.

"Woah! For sure tomorrow most of the boys gonna drool over your figure."

"And Dean gonna burry you alive,"she laughed. I accompanied her too.

Yep!Dean is her fiance and my would to be brother-in-law. We three grew up together. Completed our elementary school together. Same goes for middle school and High school. From high school both of them started going out and now becoming the most beautiful couple.

We heard a slight knock on our door. It's probably Dean. We were supposed to go out for dinner. I pushed Samantha into the closet and asked her not to make sound. Let that boy get heart attack on the day of their engagement.

I opened the door and he shot me his most handsome smile.

"Hey beautiful lady, can you let me see my would to be wife and ex girlfriend? I know she is there," he said taking my hand for kiss.

"I am not convinced with your flatter, Dean. Get lost." I said releasing my hand from his grip.

"Ok , fine. I know you're stubborn. I have come here to ask there is any problem if one of my friends join us in the dinner?" he asked politely.

"No, it's alright. After all today's dinner is on you." I chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah. Ah.....bye wifey," he smiled playfully and left the place.

Time passed I got ready for the dinner. I wore a simple lace top with some heels.

I didn't put on so much make up. Just coral pink lip tint and face powder and left my hair open. I saw a text on my phone. It's Samantha .

"*We're waiting for you under your apartment. Please show your face before I pulled you from your apartment......"

~~~~7.45 am.

"Coming*," I replied and ran towards the elevator. Samantha hate to wait. So specifically I ran all the way to their car.

"What're you doing? Not much make up still took forever?"

"I needed some work done before tomorrow morning. So I got a little late. Sorry," I replied and got on the car without noticing the other person sitting the passenger seat.

"Shall we?" I replied locking the door.

"Hmm, by the way meet my friend.................

"Hmm, by the way meet my friend, Chris,"Dean introduced the person sitting next to me.

"Ah!! you scared me, when did you come in?" I said as I didn't notice him before.

"Hey, Kayla, stop being clumsy. Stop focusing so much on your work stuffs." Samantha said after realising my mind is roaming around else where.

"Hello, I am Kayla Lopez. Nice to meet you. Sorry for earlier." I took a deep breath and said calmly.

"Hello, I am Chris....ah... excuse me I need to take this call." he was cut by his phone call.

Christin's POV/

Dean was driving us to the restaurant. Samantha is speaking continuously with Dean about wedding and honeymoon etc. You know lovey-dovey couple's talk.

The person sitting beside me was reading something busy with her phone. Didn't even talk to me as others do? Girls go crazy on me. They intentionally fell themselves on me just for getting my attention.

She is just looking at the phone instead of looking at handsome , hot and rich Greek god sitting beside her. I didn't saw her before as it was a bit dark out there in the basement.

"Chris and Kayla get down we have reached."

As soon as she got down from the car I was mesmerized by her beauty. I could see her because of the restaurant decoration lights. The perfect well maintained curvy figure was hugged by a simple black lace top which ended on her knees. Her chocolate brown hair was tied into a loose bun which made her look more breathtaking hot.

Long eyelashes with such a beautiful eyes. I was wondering if she was the goddess of beauty somehow. Girl never seen anyone like you before.

"Chris, shall I ask the staff to serve your dinner here as you liked that place a lot?"

"Huh..." I was so busy watching her beauty that I forgot to got down from the car. I came to my senses.

"Eh...Dean that's not the case I guess. He was mesmerized watching SOMEONE," Samantha said emphasizing each letter of someone as she teased me.

"Not really, I was just wondering where does Dean find those restaurants not so popular yet so fancy?" I said getting down from the car to avoid other consequences.

"It's my besties favourite place, isn't it?"

"Well, I come here every weekend with my fiance," she said," literally he is the one to find this beautiful place."

Wait! Fiance? Man I am late. My heart ached after listening her . What am I actually doing? I should stop thinking about her she is not my type.

"Let's go inside then?" Samantha said looking at me.

"Ah sure, ladies first."

What am I thinking? I can get any women I want ? Why should I be mesmerized by a simple looking girl.

Time passed, we finished our dinner and got back home. But I can't remove the look of her from my memory. Lying on my bed I was horribly thinking about her.

Let's research a bit on her. Shall I search something in Google? She is a quiet famous fashion designer owns a branding company.

I checked Dean's profile in Instagram if there's any picture of her or her profile. Fortunately I found her profile but it's locked. I sent her a follow request.

"Hello, Joe!" I called my secretary.

"Find me some details about Kayla Lopez. I am sending you her photo in a while and find out who is her fiance too."

"Got it , boss," he replied.

I took a screenshot of her and Dean's picture and send it to my secretary. She is so normal looking yet making me crazy. Who are you?

Kayla's POV/

What frustrating and tiring week. In one hand my besties grand engagement preparation and on the other hand my company. My company is gonna launch the new designs of wedding dresses this week and as well as jewelleries.

Many international organizations had shown so much interest in it already so I am working day and night to meet up their expectations.

In this mega fashion week a huge number of international designer brands are cooperating with us. This is the most valuable time to show what I've got in me and my company. I am gonna seize the opportunity at any cost.

Dean and Samantha's engagement ceremony is gonna held tonight. I asked my fiancé to pick me up from the house as dad required. We should appear more lovely and friendly in the public to show our affection and passion.

So called passion. My fiancé is a great businessman. The only heir of AA's corporation. Kinda young billionaire. Good looking, handsome , kind and generous.

Well but I don't like him at all as my husband. He is really good to me but too much busy and loves to show off.

He is one of my dad's close friends son. Our alliance has been fixed when we're not even born. Dad wants us to create a great business empire merging both of our famous companies.

Time passed to the engagement.

Reporters: Today we are gonna witness a grand engagement ceremony of two grand families. Many nobles , popular businessmen and politicians have come from all over the world to witness this...........

"Kayla, help me, are you here to watch TV ?" she screamed from her room.

" Coming," I put the potato snacks on the side table and ran to her. This is me eating a lot without thinking I have a program to attend and gotta get ready.

"Wow, My loyal lady. You're looking so beautiful," I chuckled.

"My hair?? Who will fix it? Why aren't you ready yet? We're running out of time. I don't wanna be late on my own engagement." she lectured me.

"Relax, take a deep breath. I know you're a bit nervous. It's alright. You still have got one and a half hour, sweetheart." I fixed her hair bun actually not ruined it intentionally cause it was disturbing the aura of her beauty and her dress.

"Kayla!! What the hell...!" she stopped as she looked at my face smiling. She got it I have some plans that'll surely gonna make her look beautiful.

"The bun is too high and disturbing the beauty to rock," I smiled.

I gently pulled her hair with my fingers avoided comb intentionally and made a little low loose bun. I put glittering silver stone hairpin on her bun that I have specially ordered from Belgium.

"My beautiful bride is ready to go," I smiled after fixing her lipstick tone.

"Aww, now you had better get ready. We're going together. Chris is gonna be our driver tonight." she giggled.

"Actually, dad asked me to show up with my fiancé. So I guess I am leaving with him."

"Oh, okay. But get ready, go!" she pushed me out of the room.

"Right now I am at your apartment so the owner of the house say is my say ," we chuckled together.

I went in my room and unpacked the dress. It's a simple prom gown but gorgeous. I am not into so much designs though I am a fashion designer.

I hate putting on makeup so I used maskaara to highlight my natural long eyelashes, a bit face powder and light pink lipstick. Dark lipstick attracts too much attention that I hated for my whole life.

For my hair I decided to let my brown hair to play with air and made a twisted braid from both sides which was attached together with a simple floral patterned hair clip. I wore a small necklace which was given by my fiancé Grey same goes for the earrings and bracelet.

I wore white shoes and took a silver clutch. I checked my room if there is anything that I may need later and got out of the room. I saw a male figure sitting on the couch.

I walked towards Samantha's room and knocked on the door.

"Give me 5 mins. I know Chris is here."

Samantha's voice made the the figure to look back. He was staring at me that made me a bit uncomfortable.

"Ah....hello, Mr. Leo!" I smiled.

"Hello, please call me Chris. No formalities, Kayla." He smiled. I was stunned at the way he pronounced my name. Who is Kayla?

Yeh it's me. But the way he called me seemed so unfamiliar. I mean everyone calls me Kayla except Ashton. But why does his calling made my heart flutter.

In that meantime someone knocked on the door.

"Cassie! Ready to go?" Grey came inside. Well he knows the passwords of all places I live as it's his birthday.

My poor memory can't afford to remember his birthday so I decided to put that as password everywhere to recall his birthday.

"Hmm," I nodded and took steps forward. I noticed he was looking at Chris with a surprised look.

"Grey, meet him he's Chris, Dean's friend."

"Hello, I am Ashton, her fiancé," he smiled. I forgot to say that we two have got some family name. Mine is Cassandra which is given by his family when I was young and it is only called by Grey and his one is Grey that I like to call him and given by my family. Quiet strange I know but the power of friendship doesn't think about logic, right?

"Hello," his smile fade away soon for unknown reason.

"Cassie, we need to hurry. We have to collect my tie that you required me to wear." he smiled looking at me. For dad's sake don't know how many things I've to do.

"Did I ?" I said and smiled," let's go."

"Wait, aren't you going with me?"............
