First day of 11th grade
Jessie is a normal girl, she wears normal clothes, she has a normal face, a normal day, a normal week or normal month. she's poor because her dad died and she when was young and her mom, while not lacking beauty or kindness lacked essential life skills and talent.
Needless to say she's never been to center of attention, or gotten any attention at all. She gets good grades that get her notice some.
Not noticed by the boys or by the girls unless they're making fun of her she's never noticed by anybody other than her mother and her one brother. (Her brother had been few months after her dad died.)
And of course she always slept in- never getting up at the right time, and that is where our story begins.
The alarm clock
Ringggg- ringgggg- ringgg
A hand comes out of under the covers, on a bed.
Jessie
Uhhh. (Jumps up) Damnit! I'm late! Again!
(Jessie mom) Lilan
(From downstairs) Jessie it's the first day of 11th grade! You'd think you'd get up on time!
(Jessie brother) Eatan
If she ever got up on time I'd eat my La' Bora De'Longhi shirt!
(Jessie brother loved fashion.)
Jessie
(Jessie comes downstairs) I'm sorry! I'm sorry!
(Jessie mom) Lilan
(Jessie mom looks up from the eggs she's cooking *and burning*) Are you excited for you frist day of 11th grade sweety?
Jessie
No, not really- It will be the Same twenty kids I grew up with.
Jessie lived in a small town mostly consistent of trailer parks Jessie herself lived in a house constructed using a trailer, they added an upstairs for her bedroom- it was free because her uncle owns a construction company.
Jessie
I wish you wouldn't burn the eggs mama.
(Jessie mom) Lilan
Their not that burnt!
(Jessie brother) Eatan
Mama! Those aren't edible! They would kill a raccoon! And they are not going anywhere near my gorgeous face!
Jessie
Anyway I don't have anytime to eat Mama, I got to go!
(Jessie mom) Lilan
Okay sweetie! Have a great day at school! Here's some money for lunch.
Jessie
(Jessie looks at the money) No. Mama I'm fine, keep the money. I'm going to get some food from Lusys parents. They own the restaurant next to the school.
(Jessie mom) Lilan
(She frowns at her daughter she doesn't want to but money s so tight these days) Okay honey. That's fine. Have a great day!
Jessie gets to school everyone there knows everyone so she stops to say hi to a few people. There are only about Tweny-three people in her class
Tatiana
I haven't seen you in ages! (She puts on a fake smile) wow! You know most people would be terrified to show their face in that outfit with that body- but you know what? Not you!
Jessie
Tatiana, I don't have time for this I'm looking for-
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Jessie!
Jessie
I gotta go Tatiana, but nice talking to you!
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Jessie! I know I saw you Two weeks ago- But it feels like forever!
Jessie
Yeah! When did you get back from Hawaii?
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Like- Midnight.
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Anyway- Jessie have you heard?
Jessie
Heard what? (Jessie going through her backpack looking for a water bottle)
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Theirs a new Guy!
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
And I heard he's super hot!
Jessie
So why would I care it doesn't affect my grades.
Liam
Jessie hey what's up!
Liam is a friend of Jessie-
Jessie
Nothing much, Lusy was just wasteing my valuable time.
Liam

(Jessie best friend) Lusy

Liam

I got a girlfriend! I'm no longer single!
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
(Jessie looks at her in shock) Who?!
Ella
Well- I mean- I can't tell you their not really out yet..
Jessie
That's fine! You should know we're all so happy for you!
Out of all of Jessie friends Lusy was obviously the hottest- she was voted the second hottest in town. (The first being Jessie mother but no one likes to talk about that.) She could be one of those mean girls and terrorize everyone, but she doesn't- Because that's who she is. And even though she could have anyone; she's had a crush on Liam since first grade.
Liam
Come on guys let's get to class.
Jessie
Yeah you right we gotta go!
They walk into the school building
New Guy- Hot But Cold.
Jessie walks into school, it's a small school only one floor with about 5 maybe 4 classroom. Most people who have money wouldn't live in this town, so there's not a lot of funding for the school.
Theres a crowd of girls, and some boys in the hallway surrounding a guy.
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Oh my god, Jessie look! He's so-
Jessie looks up and sees him.
Jessie
(She interrupts Lusy to say) Don't care.
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Hey!
Jessie
Sorry if that was mean. Yeah he's hot, okay? But I really don't care, it doesn't effect me.
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Uhhh. I need to get a girlfriend I can talk about guys too!
Jessie
(Jessie smiles slightly)
She starts walking through the crowd of girls she keeps her head straight.
The new kid looks up- And he sees her.
Tatiana
Hey! You'r new right? I'm Tatiana!
Hunter turns his gaze to Tatiana. He's eyes are very- well if I had to put it into words it would be, scary.
Hunter
(Looks at her) Yeah (Is all he says)
Tatiana is confused and slightly embarrassed- and doesn't know what to say.
Tatiana
So you moved here in the summer, right? From the city? Must be so hard being in such a small town as R. Scott. With such a wierd name too! You know my mama used to say that it's because Scott founded the town back in like the 1800s- Isn't that wierd?
Tatiana
And you know the only fun thing we ha-
Hunters voice is gruff and- almost emotionless
He doesn't say anything afterwards actually; he looked like realize he was being rude. The words that he managed to speak also sounded pain and almost forced.
(Hunters best friend) Doug
Hey Hunt! That's where you went!
(Hunters best friend) Doug
Lady's.
Doug has been Hunter's best friend since diapers. Actually, so had their mom's; that's why Hunter's mom chose to move here after her divorce.
(Hunters best friend) Doug
Lets go dude! Class is about to start.
They walk into the class room, and immediately Hunter's gaze finds where Jessie is sitting.
All of the girls in the room perk up when he enters.
(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton
Class we have a new student this year. Now normally I wouldn't introduce him since it's the beginning of the year, but since we rarely ever get new students - I will introduce him. Class this is Hunter Dion; our new student please give him a warm welcome.
Daily
Oh my god, he's hot. (She wispers)
Class Mate
Do you think he'd sit next to me?
Class Mate
No way! He's too hot!
Jessie
Sitting quietly at her desk.
Hunter sits down next to Jessie
Hunter
(His heart is beating fast) Uh..-
Jessie
Shhh! Class! I have to take notes! (She says not looking up)
(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton
So! Who wants to answer the question- and before you do I would like to remind you that this is history class and if you give me a number you will be sent to detention (she looks at somebody in the front row.)
(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton
Ah, yes my star pupil! What's the answer?
Jessie
Even though Columbus came to America and technically "found" the land for the first British and English people, their were already native Americans; he did not have the right to steal the land or the people. But it would not have been better if he never came, because it would have taken longer- and likely America would never have formed.
(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton

(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton

*Keeps talking*

*Hunter keep's sneaking glances at Jessie.*
(Teacher) Mrs. Fullerton
Okay class, that's it for today! Good job!
(Jessie best friend) Lusy

Right here! (She's getting up from her seat)
Hunter
Jessie... (he mutters)
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Oh! Your new here right! (Talking to hunter)
He say it gruffly and in a emotionless tone

Oh- okay. How do you like the school?
His voice is still pained.
Jessie
Lusy! Don't bother the new kid!
Jessie
I'm so sorry! She can be so (makes a crazy motion with her hand.)
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
Hey! (She says while laughing)
(Hunter blushing like crazy emotions overriding him- his emotion.)
Jessie
(Smiles at him) We're going to get going. Nice talking to you.
Hunter
(Hunter having a mental breakdown from that smile)
(Jessie best friend) Lusy
(Wispers) Update; new guy- hot but cold.
