"Slow down! Lily!. Don't go running at the park. It's crowded with people" Shouted Ryan, a 16 years old boy.

Well,.. Ofcouse his sister didn't listen to him.

"hurry up brother! Or else the ice cream will sold out!" said lily.

"lily! It's dangerous" Rose grabbed Lily's hand to slow her down. Rose and lily is a twin sisters. But rose always act like a big sister and lily is just a spoiled 7 years old kid-

KNOCK KNOCK. "Sasha?"

"what is it?" said Sasha while staring at her laptop. She was in the middle of writing a novel and got disturbed.

"you've been working on it ever since last week don't you? Please don't ignore your health" Mrs Emily handed her daughter a cup of hot chocolate. Her favorite.

"thank you mom. But don't worry. I'll sleep in a bit" Sasha gave her bright smile to her mother.

Mrs Emily nodded and walked out of Sasha's room.

Then, she continues her writing.

"But Ryan,.. Where's daddy?" Rose looked up to her brother while holding Lily's wrist.

"I think daddy lost track of us. Let me search for him. You guys wait for me here okay?" Said Ryan. But not long after he walked away, lily manage to escape from Rose's 'hand cuff'.

"Lily!" Rose chasing after her. But lily is so good at running away. 'where's she?'

"Rosie!!!"

Rose quickly looked at the back. She saw her sister being held up by a man in black suit. Unconscious.

"wha..." !!! All of the sudden, she couldn't breathe. Her eyes feels heavy. And soon after that, she passed out.

"let's go before someone noticed them missing"

"Wow. Sasha! What's happened to you? Look at your dark circles!!" Said Lisa. One of her classmates.

"i couldn't sleep last night. So i play a game untill dawn" -She is lying. Sasha didn't want anyone know that she is writing a novel.

"you gotta be kidding me! Sasha? Game?!" Lisa couldn't believe her words. She has been friends with Sasha ever since they were kids. She knows Sasha the best.

"Pay attention to your health. Idiot"

Sasha glance at him as he walks pass her to his sit. His name is Jay. One of her classmates and also her neighbour.

"he cares for you" Lisa patted Sasha's back.

"Stop. You know i don't like it"

"fine fine. How boring"

Sasha take a deep sigh. 'love? Romance? No way! I don't deserve it'

Her mind wondering around.

It was a beautiful day. The kids are playing at the garden. Mr harry and Mr Wilson observed them from a far.

"your daughters is beautiful. Just like their mother" said Mr Wilson.

Mr Harry replied it with a smile. His wife died after giving birth to a twin. He had 4 children. 2 sons and a 2 daughters. Raising them while handling business matter quite difficult for him alone. But luckily his friend, Mr wilson always help his family.

"Mika, you want some tea?" Lily lifted her toy cup and gave to the boy in front of her.

"No, thanks. I'm an adult now" said Mikael.

"you're just one year older than us. Play along. Or i punch you" Rose whispered to him. But her hand already pinching Mikael's leg.

"Aww!! Fine" He take the cup and pretend to drink the tea.

Lily smile and looked at him. "isn't it good? I'll make you a cup of tea every morning when we're all grown up"

"just for Mikael? What about me?" Said Ryan. He walks towards his sisters and Mikael. followed by Kai, the second son of Harry

Kai always resented himself in his room. But he decided to go out and play with his sisters.

"Can you pour me a tea, please?" Kai gently put a smile on his face.

"sure!" said lily happily.

Suddenly, a black car parked in front of the house. The man inside walked out from his seat and smiled at them.

"Sasha. Can you please answer this question?" Said Madam Betty. But Sasha was absent minded.

"SASHAA!" no response.

Lisa is sitting beside her. But she's doing nothing to help her best friend. Seeing Sasha about to get punished will be fun. 'Sorry Sasha. Just this time!'

Madam Betty come to her desk and slammed the book in front of her. Making Sasha realize the situation.

"you,.... Go stand in front of.... " Madam Betty is about to give her a lesson. But seeing her pale face, she changed her mind. "never mind. Pay attention please"

Jay stared at Lisa. And lisa rolled her tongue.

The bell rang. School time is over. After sending goodbyes to her friends, Sasha walks out of the school gate.

"Sasha! wait. Let's walk together" said Jay. Their house was not far from each other.

"you don't have football training today?"

"actually, i do. But,..naaah. Didn't feel like going"

Sasha chuckle.

"don't do that too often. Or you gonna get kicked out"

Seeing her smile makes him blush. He quickly face another way.

"are you free tonight?" Jay breaks the silence. "my mom cook a special dinner today,...for celebrating my sister's birthday"

"Sophia? She's turning 6 today? Oh my God.. How could i forget it....." Sasha slapped her forehead.

"So,.. Are you coming?"

"of couse! Well,.. If i was invited"

"oh. Come on! You're a part of our family, Sasha. Ask your mom to join us too"

"i will"

They arrived in front of Sasha's house.

"see you tonight!" Said Jay. Messing up her hair.

"stop! Or I'm not gonna come"

Jay laughs. He then walks away to his house.

Sasha slammed the door. Locking herself in her bedroom. Her heart beating fast.

"what? no, Don't do it! Calm down heart! No!"

"Mom? Are the preparation ready yet?" Said Jay. Coming down from his room.

"If it wasn't for Sasha, you're not even interested aren't you" Said Mrs Annie.

"no way. Of couse I'm excited for my lil sis birthday" Jay keep on fixing his hair.

"I'm gonna throw up" Sophia is standing beside him while giving him a sharp glare.

"why you, little... "

DING DONG.

'she's here already?' Jay walks to the front door. He takes a deep breath.

Sasha smiles when he sees Jay right in front of her. "My mother is not coming. She need to work for a night shift at the clinic today"

"i see" he nodded. "well, it's fine. come. let's head inside"

"thank you"

"Sis! I miss you! Why don't you came and play with me?" Sophia is hugging Sasha in her pink princess dresses.

"I'm sorry little one. But i have works to do. I'll play with you later. I promise" She smiles. 'how cute'

"let's have the dinner, shall we?" said Mrs Annie.

"i sent you back home" Said Jay while grabbing his cap.

"no no. I'm fine. you don't have to,"

"Sasha, let him walks you home. It's late already. I'm worried about your safety"

"well... Okay" She gave up. She can't win anyway.

They both walking under the moon light. A few of the street lamp was broken and they walk in the dark.

"it's dangerous if you walk here alone"

"it's fine. I now martial arts"

"no! A girl should be protected! I don't want you to get hurt" Said Jay. Not realising that he hold her hand. "oh! Sorry"

Jay tries to let go.

"it's fine" Sasha faced down.

Jay was stunned.

'huh? what's up with -it's fine?- Are you crazy?' she was taking to herself. can't believe she just said that.

Seeing her not making any resistance, Jay intend to hold her hand, not wanting to let it go.

"we're here already"

"damn. I should just take a longer route" he kicked the air.

Sasha quickly pulls her hand. "thanks" Then she walks inside of her house.

"Goodbye...." Said Jay quietly.

Her head is hurting. Are we got kidnapped? Lily tries to look around. As expected, she can't see anything. The room is pitch black and she is being tied up. What about my sister?

"Sis.... Rosie, where are you?" she whispered. Tried to hold back her tears.

"Lily? Are you okay?" Shouted Rose. Lily's voice is shaking. Is she hurt?

"Where are we? I'm scared...." She cries.

"I don't know.. But try not to panic. Okay? I'm here" Rose try to calm her sister. 'Daddy,.. Help us'

Ryan running aimlessly while shouting to call his sisters. "Lily!! Rose!!".

If anything happens to them, he would blame himself for leaving them alone.

"How is it? Did you see them?" Mr harry was panicked as well. But seeing Ryan shaking his head makes his heart stop beating for a second.

He grabbed his phone and called his friend, Mr Wilson for help.

Soon after that, a bunch of bodyguard came along with Mr wilson. Together with Kai and Mikael. They make the fullest effort to search for the two missing girls.

It's already 8 o'clock. But still, not even a single clue about Lily and Rose showed up.

"You and the kids should go home and rest. Let my bodyguards do the searching. It's still not 24 hours since they went missing. We can't report it to the police yet" Said Mr Wilson.

Mr Harry nodded. Although he is worried for his two little girls, but he can do nothing much in finding his daughters. All he can do is to pray for Lily and Rose's safety and hope that Mr Wilson's man can find them.

She paused and her eyes stared blankly at the screen.

'I can't do this'. She feels like giving up. It's already midnight and she can hear nothing but a sound of trees rustling at the outside.

She is neither a writer nor a professional novelist. But she is doing her best to finish the novel. why? because she's writing it based on a true story. and she wants to give it to someone she trusted.

Sasha suddenly remember the scene last night. Where Jay is holding her hand. She smiled. But somehow, her smile is bitter.

"i need to finish this novel as soon as possible"

It's 7 in the morning. Yet Sasha still not getting off from the bed. Mrs Emily knocking hard the door.

"Sasha,. My dear. Wake up! It's time to go to school"

Mrs Emily decided to open the door herself. She patted Sasha's shoulder. Something feels off,

"oh my god! You're running a fever." 'I'm a nurse, yet i couldn't take a good care of my daughter'. Mrs Emily cried.

Sasha awake. "what's the matter?" Her mother looks sad.

"You catch a cold"

"I do?" Sasha put her hand at her forehead. 'maybe I overdo it' she put a nighter last night in order to complete the novel. She sighed.

"let me go to school. nothing serious" Sasha shove her quilt.

"No! You can't force yourself like this. Please. Just stay home" Mrs Emily gets up and walks out to bring a glass of water.

"here. Take the pill. And have a rest. I'll inform your head teacher"

Jay stared at Sasha's empty seat. 'She seems fine yesterday. Why would she suddenly catch a cold?'

Then suddenly,

A young and tall man walks into the classroom. Everyone pays attention to him. They already know that a new teacher is going to teach them starting that day. But no one expecting him would be very handsome.

"Hello every one. My name is Sam Kayle. Your new teacher" He greeted. Sam looked through the class and saw an empty seat.

"Who is absent today?"

"Sasha, sir. She is having a fever" Said Lisa.

"is it serious?"

"no... I guess. But her mom is a nurse so she's gonna be fine" said the class monitor.

Sam nodded. He then begun the lesson.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.

"who is it?" Mrs Emily rushed from the kitchen to open the door. "ouh. It's you guys."

Jay and Lisa greet her politely.

"come inside. Sasha is upstairs." Said Mrs Emily. He closed the door and went back to the kitchen.

"Sasha! You won't believe it!" Said Lisa, rushing into her room.

Sasha slowly get up from her bed making Lisa feels guilty.

"Oops. I'm sorry" She helped her to get up.

"No, it's okay. I'm used to it" Sasha giggles.

"Are you feeling better now?" Asked Jay.

Sasha nodded. Being indifferent to him.

"What's the news?" she asked.

"okay. Okay" Lisa take a deep breath. "We got a new teacher!!!"

Jay shakes his head. "you desperately want to come here to tell her that?"

"Hey. It's important." Lisa slapped Jay's arm. "He is too handsome! I'm in love with him right now" She smiles while imagine Sam's visual.

"Really? What's his name?"

"Sam Kayle! And he just 7 years older than us, So..."

A sharp pain suddenly attack Sasha's chest.

She fall to the floor. Jay and Lisa panicked.

"OH MY GOD! SASHA!" shouted Lisa.

"Lisa. Hurry up and call her mother!" Jay try to calm Sasha down. Lisa already running downstairs while shouting for Mrs Emily.

"what's wrong?! Are you okay?" Mrs Emily looks through her conditions. It's the usual illness that she often get since she was young.

"try to control your breathing. Calm your mind. Calm yourself."

"Jay. can you reach for her pills there?" Mrs Emily asked Jay to bring the medicine from the drawer.

"No. I don't want to take it" Sasha tries to sit.

"Why? You need to take it. To ease the pain" Jay pass the medicine to Mrs Emily.

"it makes me feel sleepy. Besides, it didn't hurt so much. So I'm okay" Sasha tries to convince them.

"But, why does your illness suddenly strike when you hear our teacher's name? did you,...by any chance got attacked by him?" Lisa was joking. She tries to lift up the mood.

"Don't be stu.."

"maybe". Sasha cut Jay's words. Surprised. Well, maybe Shasha just joking around.

Mrs Emily gets up. "have a proper rest, my dear. I need to check on my cooking." Sasha nodded. She watched her mother walked away from her room.

"Are you sure that you're fine?" asked Jay. He is worried about her since he knew that Sasha once got into the hospital because of that.

"yea."

'something is wrong with them'.. Guessed Lisa. 'oh well, I'm not gonna butt in their business'.

"Goodbyee Sasha!!! See you soon!" Lisa and Jay waves at her from the street.

"Alright. Be careful on your way back". They nodded.

Sasha closed the curtain. She quickly grabs the medicine along with a glass of water. Yes, she is lying. There's no way she could hold the pain without taking the pain killer. She had difficult time to breathe, her chest is throbbing so much. She is in extreme pain. Her hands is shaking. A moment later, she collapsed.

Sasha slowly opened her eyes. but she is not in her room. strange, it's so familiar.... 'Hospital? It must be it.'

She looks through the ward. Her mother is not there. 'i hope no one knows about this' she sighed. The clock is ticking. It's midnight now. Good things that she didn't passed out for entire day.

Mrs Emily opened the door. With a plate of fruits.

"you finally awake. Are you feeling better?"

Sasha realize that her mother's cheeks are red. Is she crying? But it doesn't seems like that. She wanted to ask, but she held it down.

"you didn't tell my friends about this right?" She asked.

"No, i didn't. But it's all up to you to tell them or not"

Sasha get up from the bed. "I'm going to school tomorrow."

"Don't push yourself! Please" Mrs Emily holds her daughter's hand.

"I had to"
