Me And Twilight have been 'partners' for years now. I've been through thick and thin with him. One day, I asked him a question about marrying someone.

"Hopes of marriage? The joys of an ordinary life? Those joined my I.D. papers in the rubbish bin on the day I became a spy." Twilight says coldly.

"Well, Twilight, Maybe I can change that." I say as i hand him a document folder.

...He slowly opens the document folder I just handed him....

"This… this is…"

"Yup! Its a marriage regestration! From now on, You and me are married! Its for operation Strix! The agency is behind all of this." I said excitedly.

"Well.. if it is for the sake of Operation Strix to go well… I… I’m willing to do this.

I need to act the perfect husband until the end. That’ll be my job."

"Thats great! Well, lets go browsing for a house. I say as i grab onto his wrist and lead him out of the agency."

"Wait. We need to look at our cover story first. So… a doctor from East Germany, and a nurse from England…

What do you think?" He says as he keeps his eyes on the folder.

"Seems good enough." I say casually

"Good. In that case… I’ll take charge of cooking and cleaning. And you’re in charge of finances and making sure this marriage looks legitimate."

"So… let’s go house hunting."

...I giggle and look into his eyes ...

"There’s a house for rent here.

It’s a little small, and it doesn’t have its own yard, but the neighborhood is convenient and the price is reasonable. Do you like it?"

"Hmm... It's kinda suspicious... I've heard reports of people being SA'd here.." I say as I squint my eyes at the building.

"Ah.. I may have overlooked that.. If this house is known for that, we’ll look for somewhere else. We can’t let that happen.. Especially to you.." He says sternly as he mumbles the last part of his sentence.

...He looks around....

"The houses are pretty cheap around here. There’s another one over there…

It’s a little closer to the center, so the neighborhood should be good.

The yard isn’t great, though. Does that one work?"

"Hmm, yea! It works. We can just fix up the yard ourselves, lets go talk to the landlord!" I say as I smile softly at him.

"Let’s."

...We go inside and talk to the landlord. Everything seems to go well. ...

"Well, that settles it. We can move in whenever we’d like."

"Thats great!"

"Alright, I’ll leave the interior design to you. Just tell me how much you’ll need." He throws me a wink as he walks towards the door.

"I’ll be right back, I’m going to get some supplies." He says as he waves and leaves the house.

"I might as well go full-in on this fake marriage. I’ll set up the whole house, One bedroom, one bathroom, one living space that's connected to the kitchen and dining area and a child's bedroom. The perfect cover."

"Twilight will handle the “marriage registration” which must be completed. For the sake of Operation Strix."

...I go to the nearby shopping complex and browse some sofas, beds, lamps, etc.. I buy the things i needed and went home, and when the packages arrived i decorated the house by myself....

...After a few hours have gone by.. The creak of the front door can be heard....

"I’m back."

...He looks around and sees the things I've done to the house and smiles....

"Looks like you’ve been busy. Thanks for doing this, without you the plan would have fallen apart."

"So… is our house all set? This place is starting to feel like a real home, thanks to you."

"Well, I'll go take a hot bath now." I said as I headed towards the bathroom.

"Good idea, I think I’ll take one, too after your done."

...I run myself a hot bath and relax....

...I cant believe it.. I'm living with Twilight. THE Twilight (sparkle). The exact same Twilight who I have admired and loved for years....

...Loid walks into the bathroom qfter I came out of it. Before he closes the door, I stop it....

"So.. um.. I prepared the same room for you and me.. To make Operation Strix look more... Authentic.." I shyly look away as i blush.

He simply smiles and pats my hair.

"It makes sense for the sake of a legitimate cover in the eyes of the agency."

I get changed in simple pajamas, and head towards my new bedroom and lay on the bed as i sigh out in comfort.

...I sit up quickly as i hear the door creak open....

"Ah! Your here!" I say as I blush slightly, my heart suddenly feeling like it would break out of my skeleton any time soon

"Uh… right."

...I need to stay in character. For his sake and the sake of Operation Strix....

...He closes the door behind him and walks towards the bed....

...I pat on the right side on the bed, signaling him to sleep on that side while i sleep on the left side of the bed....

...I lay on my pillow and yawn out of tiredness from decorating the house all day, i instinctively hugged loid's back as if it were a boaster....

...Suddenly, Twilight said the thing that I never ever expected him to say....

“Can… I hold you?”

...His face was tainted with a strawberry pink blush as he avoided eye contact with me. I giggled at how cute he was acting and nodded. He spun around and hesitated for a bit before embracing me....

...He pulls me closer, and wrap his arms around me, holds me tight, and It feels like he doesn’t want to let go. He lays his head on mine. I’m too afraid to say I like this. Because that would make this… real....

...In the morning, I wake up to Twilight, who was hugging me as i slept, my face flushed red as he continues his slumber. I try to leave quietly but then he pulled me in and hugged me tighter. ...

"Just... a little longer.." He holds onto me tighter.

"T-twili- I- i mean Loid.. Ahem.. Loid.. I need to make breakfast now.. Can you.. let me go?"

His face went red. “Just… give me… a minute…”

He's so cute?!!

I bring my fist againts my lips as i fake coughed.

"A-ahem.. I.. I guess I wouldn't mind being in your embrace for just a little while longer.." I said as I tried to sound 'professional'

“Well, it’s not like I’m in a hurry.” he says calmly as he closes his eyes.

...After about 15 minutes passed, he finally let me go and i went to make pancakes. Not noticing that my face is still really red from what happened just now. My heartbeat feels like its running a whole *** marathon....

...I take a deep breath as I make pancakes batter and cook it, making thiccccccc stacks of pancakes....

I take a deep breath, trying to remember we’re only in the second day of our marriage, but we should have our first meal as husband and wife together.

"Loid-san~ Breakfast is served!"

...Twilight came to the dining area wearing a suit and tie. I serve him some pancakes....

"Thanks." He says as he smiles sweetly at me.

...I sit at the table, and I look away, as a slight red blush still creeps into my cheek. I try to calm myself down and act like nothing happened. But he's making it really hard with just one smile. I reach out to take a piece of pancake, and the moment my hand touches his, I blush a rose red. I quickly take a piece of the pancake with my other hand, and stuff it in my mouth....

As i was blushing, suddenly, the house phone rang, I went to pick it up.

"Helloooooo? ______ Forger here~" I said, streaming out the o to sound more casual.

On the other side of the phone was the agency, they rang to check up on us, i gave them a quick summary of what we did on our first day of being a couple, skipping a few... 'minor' details.

After the call was finished, I see the curious look on Loids face.

"Who was it?"

"The agency, They were checking up on how we were doing."

"Oh.. I see"

He looks at the watch on his wrist and hiseyes widened.

"Oh shoot! We have to go to our appointed work! Your working hours start at 7 and ends at 6. Remember that!" He says as he takes off.

Now that I’m alone, I sigh and let my guard down “Well... that… happened.”

...I look at the clock. He’s still going to be out on his assignment for a few hours since he works at 6 until 730 even though we work at the same place. I have time to think. I take a minute to process that I might’ve just fallen for my fake husband. I really should focus on the mission! I take a deep breath, and tell myself....

“Stay focused.”

...After a tiring day at my other job, I leave work and walked home. Since Twilight won't be home until 7:30p.m., I'll make dinner for him while i wait his home arrival!...

After a few more hours pass, i hear my front door open. Loid comes home, and he looks tired. I put on my best 'spy face'

“I’m back. How was your day?”

"It was... fine. Look, I made dinner!" I said as I tried to change the subject.

"I know you were supposed to cook dinner today but I figured you'd be tired, so I cooked in your steed!"I say as I smiled softly at him. I could maybe even see a smile creep on his face. A real one.

I sit down and begin eating. I try to act calm and professional while we eat. I have to stay in character, for Operation Strix. But even as I think that, my thoughts drift to… him.

“It was a long day, wasn't it?” He says as he lays back and sends out a deep sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

"Hehe, It sure was! I'll go take a quick shower and head off to bed!"

I say as I quickly rush to the bathroom.

So I go to bed, and I lay there and wait for you to come in. As soon as I hear the door open, I begin pretending to be asleep.

...I walk towards the bed and sit on it. Seeing Twilight letting his guard down like this was kinda cute to me. I softly stroke his hair and stare at him a bit. I'm so tempted to kiss him on the cheek. I mean, He's asleep, He wouldn't know right? I slowly go towards his cheek and kiss it before i snap back into reality and cover my lips and softly slap my cheeks. Focus _____! Focus! I think to myself as i blush red, my heart beating like crazy....

I couldn't sleep my heart just kept beating and beating. I stood up and left the bedroom to drink some water

I slowly pour water into my cup as i start twirling my hair around. "What a day..."

...A few minutes pass, and I still can’t think of what to do. My emotions are a mess. So instead of doing anything, I stand there, in an emotional stupor....

...I finally pluck up the courage to go back to the room, I take a deep breath and head inside, I stare at Twilight for a bit and my face flushed remembering what I did a few moments ago. I shake my head and went to bed, Fell asleep in an instant....

...In the morning, I realise that Twilight was gone. I heard sounds coming from the kitchen as i smell bacon....

...Ah right, I should tell him... about adopting a child for operation Strix....

...I walk out the room as I rubbed my eyes and yawned softly....

“Good morning.” He says as he smiles at me. The smile was so beautiful that it would be worth absolute trillions.

...I shyly look away as my face is slightly red, I couldnt stare him in the eyes like i used to.....

"Well, don't you think its time to adopt a child for the sake of operation strix?"

I say as I look at the food he has made and eat it, still not looking into his eyes.

He stare at her, dumbfounded by my previous statement.

"Twilight.."

I stand up and stare at him for a while.

"For the sake of Operation Strix, Lets have a child."

I think about what i just said and i suddenly flush red, Twilight's face also turns Bright red.

"I- I DONT MEAN IT LIKE THAT! I MEAN ADOPT A CHILD- I- I UM-"

I cover my face as i feel myself blushing harder than ever.

...My face is tomato red. When I thought of what I said, i didnt want “Operation Strix”. I wanted Operation Us....

He smiles and nods.

"Let's go to an orphanage and adopt one. If we can't find the one we want we can always just..."

I blushed so red that i may blow up, then i suddenly came to the realisation about the statement he just made.

"W..wait.. Eh??!!

My whole body turned red from blushing, I might faint from how much im blushing.

"I- I- um- we- uhh- I- uh- well- oh- umm.."

My words were jumbled up as i covered my blushing face with my hands. He stands up and pulls my hands away from my face.

"I've been a coward for not saying this to you earlier. I didn't know what this feeling was at first. Honestly, I wad scared. What if you rejected me? Hated me? So that's why I'm going to say it now.."

“I love you.”

"I don’t know how else to say it. So I just spit it out. You’re standing there, with your face as red as mine. A perfect match."

I cover my blushing face as I whisper a soft..

"I love you too... My partner in love..."
