Adah was drunken, sitting across the bar has now started to blabber useless stuff.

"This day was literally the worst day of my life.. I cannot believe I went through so many tragedies in a single day.

I lost my job, I broke up with my boyfriend, I became homeless, and my wallet is empty." Adah said turning her wallet upside down.

The bartender was busy in his phone texting someone. His cell phone beeped for a message, and he read it and smiled. Just then Adah realised that nobody was really listening to her.

"Hey?" Adah banged on the table. The bartender looked up at her.

"Am I a mad man?! Why aren't you listening to me?" Adah demanded.

"Er.. Sorry ma'am. What do you want me to serve you next?" He asked.

"You dont have to serve me... Just listen to me and my tragedy." Adah said again repeated the whole thing for the fifth time now.

The bartender again looked into his phone and giggled. Adah was irritated now. She jumped to grab his phone from his hand.

"What the hell are you watching in your phone and smiling at?!" Adah started to scroll up and down and realised he was sexting (irrotic talking via messaging) some woman.

"What the...." She was dumbstruck.

"Happy with the look?!" The bartender snatched his phone away from her hand back to himself.

"You are sexting someone? Is it your girlfriend?" Adah asked excited

"No! Being working at night, I cannot really afford to have a girlfriend. I am just talking to one of those sext operators!" He replied.

"You mean... The ones like a call centre?" Adah asked.

"Yeah!"

"Why would you wanna do that? I mean, having a real person to talk to is way better than having to sext someone you dont even know!" Adah said.

"Well.. You asked me I told you. Its not like I asked you to try it out! Anyways, That would be Fifty dollars." The bartender said.

Adah slapped her credit card on the desk.

"I want to sext too" Adah said.

"What? Are you sure?"

"Yes, Give me the number, I too wanna try it out! Anyways, I dont have anyone to talk to tonight! You are busy with your... thing and I lost my boyfriend too.. Reality sucks! Maybe I can too find my happiness in a virtual world, by sexting some stranger." Adah said.

Adah dialled the number. The number got disconnected and a message popped up in her phone. She opened it and it said,

HOTLINE: "Welcome to sext operator! lets get you started!"

Another message followed.

Adah chugged on her beer and typed,

ADAH: "Male"

Adah snort-laughed and takes her drink from her fourth glass of wine.

ADAH: "Seriously? 69? How many of you operators are 69 there?"

Adah stared at her phone slack-jawed for several minutes.

ADAH: "So, my typing is good!"

ADAH: "Is this the part where you ask me what I'm wearing? Or is that my line?"

ADAH: "I'm not sure what the protocol are for these things.. LOL!"

OPERATOR 69: "No protocol Adah, we can talk about whatever you want. But for the record..."

OPERATOR 69: "I'm wearing a pair of jeans."

ADAH: "And..."

OPERATOR 69: "That's it!"

OPERATOR 69: "I was getting ready for bed when I got your text. So, yeah.. Just jeans."

OPERATOR 69: "But I could be in less if you want..;)"

ADAH: "Huh, I pictured you sitting in a call centre somewhere."

OPERATOR 69: "The messeges are rerouted to our phone through the system."

OPERATOR 69: "So, Im at home, In my couch in case you want a visual."

ADAH: "What, no selfie?"

OPERATOR 69: "I cannot show you my face but anything else goes."

OPERATOR 69: "Would you like to see my body Adah?"

ADAH: "Yes"

ADAH: "Shit"

ADAH: "I meant no"

ADAH: "I dont even know why Im still texting you."

ADAH: "Im not the kind of woman who needs this, to pretend some random stranger is my boyfriend Or whatever."

OPERATOR 69: "Like I said there is no protocol. No rules."

OPERATOR 69: "I can talk to you like I am your boyfriend."

OPERATOR 69: "I can talk to you like I am a hook-up."
