Once there was a young woman, around her early twenties, going home late at night.

When the young woman was going home, it was so quiet outside. It was so late that the roads that supposed to be filled with bustling vehicles was so quiet no cars, trucks or whatsoever at all.

And because of that reason, the you woman let her guard down when she was crossing the road, plus, she was already tired to look around since she had worked overtime and just came back from a business trip, so when there was an upcoming truck, she didn't noticed at all, she got hit and then, you know, died.

But before she lost consciousness, she said, "I wish to be reborn in a world full of magic and live a leisure life". And so, the gods who heard her wish granted it since she was dying and all.

While the young woman was dying she heard a voice and it said, "I will grant your wish, my child".

But little did the young woman know that it'll be a long time before she could live her life leisurely.

When I open my eyes, I woke up in an unfamiliar room with white ceilings and blue walls with white in the lower part of it.

'This room is too luxurious to be my room. Where am I?'

I thought to myself while retracing my memories. Well, I'm an office worker, 22 yrs. old, and I was going home late at night because my boss made me work overtime after coming back from a business trip. Ah...that when!…

'Now I remember, I was so tired that I couldn't pay attention to my surroundings and got hit by a truck'. I sighed in depression for not paying attention to my surroundings.

'Come to think of it, I heard a voice before losing conscious. Nah...probably the truck driver who hit me but where am I?'

Just when I was trying to figure out where I was, someone came in. It was a middle-aged woman, she looks like a maid, she dropped a basin and then looked at me with an ecstatic expression before shouting excitedly.

"Master, Madam, Young Master, the Little Miss is finally awake!!"

'Wait by little miss, is she talking about me?', I said to myself while looking at my hands.

'Wait a minute, why do I have hands that looks just like a baby?...wait did just...'

My thoughts were cut short because as soon as the maid shouted two people came in with a worried expression.

First, a man came forward with slick black hair, dark blue eyes and tanned skin. He also had broad shoulders and a tall stature. He kneeled down to my eye level.

"Oh, are you alright, my daughter?" he asked worriedly.

While processing the words he just said, I could only blink at him.

'Wait, did he just call me his daughter?', I thought to myself confusingly.

After he asked that question a young boy came forward seemingly around 7 yrs. old.

"Are you okay, my little sister?", he asked with a worried expression.

While processing another confusing question, I said to myself, 'Did I have an older brother?'. But my thought were cut short 'again', when someone suddenly bursts into the room.

It was a woman with shining silver hair and glowing ruby eyes. She looked so frail that it felt like every person who will look at her makes them want to protect her, but that was wrong of me to think like that because she wasn't frail at all.

"Out of my way", she said strongly to the man with a fierce expression, then she carried me into her arms and said.

"Are you alright, sweetheart?", she

 asked worriedly but tenderly with an expression of a mother concern about her child.

Thinking of all of their questions and expression, the night I died then suddenly woke up in an unfamiliar room.

'Wait, is this my second life? I got reborn? With a loving family?' *sniffle*

And with that a lovely cry of a baby echoed in the room.

8 years later

It has been eight years since I came to a conclusion that I got reborn. During those years, ever since I've found out that this world has magic I've studying about it nonstop, and also I've been practicing swordsmanship with my older brother Gareth for self-defense. At first, when my family heard that I was planning to study magic and swordsmanship, they were against it but after thinking about it was good for me so that I could defend myself they finally gave me their permission.

It's really a good life with my beloved maid Selene whom I treat as an elder sister, Gareth my caring older brother and my loving parents.

In this life, they named me Luminaria Valliot, the first daughter of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess Valliot.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I had a black hair that I inherited from my father and ruby red eyes from my mother.

'Wait a minute, hair black as the night sky and eyes red as rubies with the name Luminaria Valliot, doesn't that seem familiar?', thinking like that, memories of my past life suddenly came like the ocean waves.

'That's right!...Luminaria Valliot, the villainess in the novel I read, 'A Flower Isn't Always Fragile', didn't her life end by getting exploit of her evil deeds that she had done to the heroine and not only her family was strip off their title, they were also killed with her'.

'Wait a minute, with everything that's going to happen, how am I supposed to live a leisure life now?!!'

"AHHHH!!...what do I do now?!", I shouted frustration and desperation, well, mostly desperation. Suddenly, the door burst open, a woman with brown hair and hazel brown eyes came in, it was my beloved maid, Selene.

"Milady, what's wrong?! Is there a bug somewhere, a rat, or maybe someone with bad intentions?!", she asked worriedly while frantically looking around.

Seeing her silly behavior really puts me at ease. I was so touched that I suddenly hugged her, it was so sudden that she was clearly taken aback of my behavior, but that was only for a few seconds, and soon she also return the hug.

"What's the matter, Lumi-sama?", she asked gently while patting my head lovingly.

"It's nothing, Selene", I replied just as gentle.

'Ahh... I love moments like this, the way my family will call me by my nickname lovingly, the way Selene would pat my head, the way Mother would have tea parties for me just let me eat NY favorite snacks, and the way father and brother would fight to see who could get to spend the day with me first. Ahh... I really love them all.

"Hey, Selene~?", I asked cutely to get her attention even though I know her I have her full attention right now, but you know what they said it won't hurt if you act cutely if going to ask for something.

"Yes, Milady?", she replied gently while still patting my head.

"Um, can you get me a notebook and a pen?", I asked meekly, I know there's no need to ask something like that so meekly, but I can't help but act cute in front of Selene, she's like the big sister I've never had.

"Of course, Milady", she replied enthusiastically and immediately broke off the hug to find what I requested.

'And even if Selene is just my personal maid to some nobles out there, we treat each others as sisters, and therefore we are family, no everyone in the Grand Ducal Household of Valliot is my family. And that's why I...'

" Here you go, Milady", my thoughts were cut short as soon as Selene pop up behind me with a pen and a notebook. 'I already know this but she works fast', is the only thing I could process in my mind.

"Thank you, Selene! And um...can you leave me alone for a moment?", I said to her gratefully while giving her quick hug before giving her another order. ' I said order, but it's more if a request', I said to myself while laughing awkwardly.

"Of course, Milady! Please call me if you need anything else", she responded while returning the hug before leaving the room.

'I really am loved and that's why I'll get pass all of these doom flags and live a leisure life', I said to myself while placing my notebook on my desk before sitting on a chair and opening the notebook to create a plan.

'Let's start with writing down the heroine and the capture targets'.

'First is the Heroine, Liliana Clovis, she is the firstborn daughter of Count Clovis. According to the novel, she has platinum blonde hair and green eyes, she may appear cold and stoic on the outside, but she is a warm and kind person when you get to know her. She also possesses the light, water, and earth aptitude in the highest level.

'Then we have the capture targets. First, we have the Crown Prince, Elbert Phillips Dullémbréw. In the novel, he is arrogant but is righteous. He possesses fire and wind aptitude in the high level, and he is also good in swordsmanship.

'Next is the Second Prince and the half brother of the Crown Prince, Frederick Rashid Dullémbréw. According to the novel, he may be good in swordsmanship but compare to his brother the Crown Prince, his swordsmanship is only second to none. He possesses the water and earth aptitude in the high level of magic'.

'Then, we have, Alfred Vallienté, he is from the Grand Ducal Household of Vallienté, and he is also the prime minister's son. He may not be good in swordsmanship but his brains and magic are top-notch. He possesses the four nature elements, which means fire, water, earth, and wind aptitude in the high level of magic'.

'And finally, we have, Felix Schulman of the Marquisate Schulman. According to the novel, he is aspiring to be an imperial knight, he may not be the smartest or that good at magic but compare to all the capture targets his swordsmanship is undefeatable. He possesses the wind aptitude in the mid-level of magic'.

'There we go, I listed all the important characters connecting to all of my doom flags, all I need to do is to each capture targets, and I'll be safe. But wouldn't it be easier if I try to befriend the heroine? Hmm... I guess that'll be Plan A'.

'And then, Plan B is to defend myself using the magic and swordsmanship that I've learned so far, but there's one problem I haven't practice magic'. I said to myself while sighing in depression.

'I mean, I did said that I was practicing my swordsmanship and 'magic' but when my parents gave me their permission, my father said I should learn the formula of the spells, so that there won't be any accidents. And so, for these past few years, I've only been learning the spell's formulas'.

'That's why, I'll face Father tomorrow to let me learn real magic. Here we go, Operation: Let's Learn MAGIC!', I said to myself, burning with determination to change our tragic fate.
