Xinyu's POV:

I had a dream where I met a guy that can give me something that I have never felt before… He had dark hair, I tried to approached him to see his face but everything turned black... then I heard something… It's like a clock sound, it keeps ringing and ringing until I realized that it was my clock!

 I woke up sweating and I glanced at my alarm clock realizing that I was late! I tried to get ready as fast as I can and went outside, I called my driver Mr. Yo

"Mr yo! Please drive me to school as quick as possible I cannot be late! "

My driver arrived and I told him to hurry.

I finally arrived and the bell will ring in 5 minutes so I tried my best not to be late.

"Finally" I said as I walked toward my seat while I breath heavily.

Someone called my name from behind and I turned around then said

"As expected it's you who was calling me, can't you annoy someone else Rin? I'm not your only friend you know"

"Hey man don't be like that! Anyways I got some news for ya! I heard there was a school president election today, want to sign up?"

I refused him and said "I'd rather vote than signing up, It's too much work anyway who would want that? I mean except nerds of course"

...My friend Rin replied "I mean our classmate Qin is signing up for that"...

...I looked at Qin who's sitting beside the window. "of course he'd sign up for that kind of thing he always do that every year It's not like I'd be surprised if he signed up"...

The bell rang and all of us sat while waiting for the teacher

"Good morning class! Sir Je is absent today, I will be your substitute teacher. My name is miss Kim, and today were going to learn..."

1 hour has passed.

"And to finish our lesson for today were going to have a project and its by partner! I will be the one who will choose your partner, so please don't be angry with your partner and be communicative with each other for you guys to have a successful project."

"Lin your partner will be Jio!"

And Lee your partner is....

Everybody has a partner already except for 2 people, Xinyu and Qin.

The teacher looked at them and said " Qin you will be partnered with Xinyu"

Qin looked at me then the teacher and shouted "What! I could've gotten an intelligent partner , but I got him!?"

I looked at him with an angry expression and replied "It's not like i wanted to be your partner and be grateful that Im your partner im superb"

The teacher shouted "Didn't I just tell you guys that you cannot argue with your partner!?"

"Im sorry Miss, but can we have a different partner? We really dont get along with each other."

Miss Kim replied "No Qin, I already assigned everybody with their partner and besides the bell is about to ring"

A few minutes later the bell rang

The students are walking to the canteen to get their food.

Well that ruined my mood, I walked towards my friend and asked him "Hey idiot! Lets go to the canteen, I'm starving."

"alright, alright just wait a sec, I need to get my wallet"

"Oh It was supposed to be my treat but I guess you could pay for your own food"

"I Didn't say that I was going to pay for my food I was just going to buy something for someone special to me"

"That's disgusting you should thank me that I stayed as your friend even though your too soft for that girl"

"Hah! You're saying that for now, but you'll soon get a girlfriend besides I'm not going to leave you even if you won't have one"

"Enough with the talking and lets start walking before the foods gone"

We walked towards the canteen and we waited at the long line to get our food. While we waited I noticed that Qin was in front of me, so I whispered to my friend Rin

"Pst Rin! Look the nerds in front of me…"

He looked at me with a teasing face and said "You mean the one that you had a small fight with?"

I rolled my eyes and replied "Why would you even ask the obvious? Never mind that but I still can't believe that he was asking the teacher to change his partner! I mean I'm perfect everybody wants a partner like me!"

While me and my friend was still talking I didnt realize that Qin can hear my conversation with my friend Rin "Can you guys shut the hell up? I can still hear you even if you whisper"

I turned my head and I saw Qin with a furious face

"Why do you look so angry when all the things that we said was tru-"

Qin covered my mouth and spoke again with a gentle voice "I only asked for you guys to quiet down"

I pushed his hand and stayed quiet to prevent people from staring at us

I finally got my food, so I walked towards a table where nobody sits so my friend and I can have a private chat

"I didn't expect him to hear us... I'm so annoyed at his face!"

"Chill dude he's our classmate, and you know our school rules we can't bully." My friend replied

"Its not like i'll bully him but if I could I would do it."

"Dont mind him lets just eat our food, so we can head back to class." my friend said with a calm voice

I really hate Qin I wish he could just switch schools, ever since we were little he would get me in trouble by simply telling the teacher what I'm always up to, And here we are now all grown up but were still enemies. I cant even imagine what our relationship would be if he would just mind his own business.

As I was eating my food I saw Qin sitting beside the tree reading a book. I got curious, so I watched him while I devour my meal.

I didn't really notice how pretty he looks Its like he's prettier than girls, I continued watching him and didnt even realize that my friend was talking.

"Hey dude can you here me? Hello?? HII? XINYU! "

"Huh? Oh, what do you need?"

"What do you mean what do I need?! I was talking about how I love Hailey but aren't even listening? Where are you even focused at that you couldn't even hear me?"

"I wasn't that focused you know! But anyway you can continue talking and I'll listen this time."

"No never mind that the topic was boring anyway, but where were you looking at?"

Rin turned his head and He saw that I was looking at Qin he smirked and said "Why are you staring at him now, huh? I thought you hated him HAHA!"

I stared at him then said "I was staring at him because I was curious and of course I hate him why would you think that I wouldn't?"

"I was just joking! don't take it seriously but why would you be curious? He's just reading his boring book"

"Why do you keep asking me questions? Just eat your goddamn food idiot."

He laughed at me because I was staring at my enemy, his laugh annoyed me the most, so I stood up and threw the rest of my food away

I was walking towards my classroom and I suddenly remembered that miss Kim didn't agree on changing our partners, I sighed, and just continued walking while thinking what I should do about the project

I finally arrived at the classroom and I saw that Qin who already returned to the classroom, and he was walking towards…ME!?

What should I do!? Did he notice that I was looking at him at lunch?? I tried to calm down while he walked, and then there he is standing in front of me..."

We then looked at each other, then he said "let me get this straight, were doing the project at my house you got that?"

"Okay, okay" I replied with an annoying tone

"Immature as always" he sighed and walked to his seat

"Immature as always Nye Nye Nye at least I'm more popular than you…" I mumbled

My friend came back with milk tea in his hand and he was smiling as if he had an amazing day

I got curious, so I asked him "Hey why are you suddenly so happy?"

He answered "Oh! It's because Hailey and I went on a date, we even hugged each other when we needed to go back to our classrooms!"

"Yuck! It's a good thing that I left you at the rooftop, If I didn't leave I would get bored because of you two"

"Don't be like that! Can't you just support your handsome friend with their love life?"

"I would if I was dead..."

"Meanie..."

The bell rang and everybody was here except the teacher, so we waited for him

10 minutes has passed, and he's not here yet but then someone went inside our classroom and said "Hello class 1-A! I would like to ask if someone here is going to sign up for the president election?"

Qin stood up and followed the student

A few minutes later the teacher came and told us to go to the gym, we followed him and saw that there were 8 students that signed in

We all sat down and watched their speech, some of them didn't really put effort

Qin was the last one to say their speech, he put so much effort that I couldn't even decide if I should vote him or not

 Finally, the election is over, and we had to vote quickly in order to catch up to our lesson, I felt bad, so I just voted Qin since he kinda deserves that

Wait what am I doing? Why am I being so nice to him... This feeling it's so weird?... I've never felt this before, maybe it's because of our project but this feeling it's just not normal for me...

I voted him for the election and the teachers counted the votes. Qin won! I wanted to congratulate him, but I was nervous for no reason? I just went back to the classroom and waited for everybody to go back

Schools finally over, but now we need to do the project. I walked towards Qin and asked him "Hey I think I can't come over to your house, my parents are away, and I need to take care of the house. Can we just do the project at my house?"

"Ugh, you can just tell me that you can't go to my house you don't need to tell me why you can't come. But alright fine let's do the project at your house"
