-"Yuto! Go find your father, dinner is ready."

I heard my mother's voice. She was calling me and my father for dinner.

-"Alright mom!"

I run to our garden to find my dad. He liked to spend his free time there.

-"Dad! Dinner is ready. Let's go."

-"Fine. I'm almost done, tell your mom I'll be there in five minutes."

After ten minutes we were having our dinner. Everything was fine. We had an ordinary dinner like every day when we heard strange sound outside. I looked to the window and saw a pair of scary purple eyes.

That was my last memory with my parents alive...

I don't know how much time has passed, but I woke up in a white room. My head hurt terribly and I could hardly move my body.

-"Oh you finally woke up, how do you feel?"

It was a man in white clothes, he looked like a doctor.

-"Where am I? Where are my parents?"

The doctor did not answer me, his face became serious, he obviously found it difficult to answer.

-"You need to rest, get some sleep."

Saying this, he walked towards the exit. Terrible thoughts crept into my mind and I tried to get up. Feeling the pain in my head, I began to lose my consciousness.

It's been a week since I got to this hospital, but no one has told me what happened to my parents. The only thing they told me was that our village was attacked by magical beasts and some inhabitants managed to be saved by hunters, one of them brought me here. After thinking everything over, I realized that my parents are most likely dead, this thought painfully lived in my head, the thought that I would not see them again...

When my assumptions were confirmed, I lost all desire to live. I lost everything.

 -"I'd rather die with them..."

As soon as I thought of the worst, I again remembered that day and the creature that stood at our house. Creature with purple eyes.

It was him, it was definitely him. He killed my parents.

Thinking about this creature, I was filled with real wrath. I want to destroy it. I have to kill him. I want revenge.

I decided. I will not leave this world until I avenge my parents.

And in order for me to succeed, I have to become stronger. I have to join the Magical Beast Hunters. That's the only way I can find that monster with purple eyes.

Already thinking about ways to contact the hunters, a doctor came into my room.

 -"Hello Yuto we have good news. You have fully recovered, but I would still like to know how do you feel. Do you feel any discomfort?"

 -"I feel great, thank you for your concern."

 -"No need to thank me my boy. I couldn't leave a child to die. I would like to ask you a few questions, first, could you tell me how old are you and do you have any relatives that you can return to?"

 -"I am 11 years old and as far as I know I had no relatives other than my parents."

Remembering my parents, my heart sank in my chest and I felt pain in my stomach.

Realizing this, the doctor continued the conversation to distract me from sad thoughts.

 -"I'll contact some orphanage for children. I think you can start over. You're still young."

 -"I appreciate your help, but could you contact the magical beast hunters. I would like to thank them for saving me and ask them for one favor."

The doctor looked surprised with my request, but he agreed.

 -"Fine, I'll see what I can do."

 -"Thank you, doctor!"

This ended our conversation and the doctor left the room.

Now I just have to wait, but even if they refuse to accept me, I will not give up.

Waiting for news from the doctor, I could not stop trembling, excitement did not leave me. I tried to distract myself with the daily routine, but I couldn't. I didn't notice how a smile appeared on my face.

The old me would never smile at the thought of the death of another being. But I've changed, I don't know if that's a good thing. But I know what I have to do no matter what.

Finally, I heard a knock on the door and the doctor entered the room. I silently stared at him, waiting to hear the long-awaited news.

 -"Yuto, they agreed to meet. They need to ask you some questions about the incident in your village. They will arrive tomorrow afternoon."

Hearing this, I finally relaxed. Now it remains only to persuade them to accept me.

 -"Thank you very much doctor, I am very grateful to you."

 -"It's not worth it, I didn't do anything special."

He was about to leave, but suddenly he stopped and turned to me.

 -"Be careful on your way, don't die out there."

Having said these words, he left without waiting for my answer.

I stayed in this hospital for almost a month. I am really grateful to everyone who supported me during this difficult period of my life. But it's time to leave this place. I have a long way to go to my goal. I need to stay strong.
