The Fourteen-Year-Old's Summer
Episode 1: I'm Early!
Khun is in his bed, dreaming. In Khun's dream, he is experiencing a good and eventful summer—

Mhm—? My eyelids are so heavy...
Khun slowly gets up from his bed. He notices that he's *****, so, he opens an oak cabinet that's facing opposite from his bed. He gets a random pair of clothes and looks at the black and white Kanji wall clock his grandma gave him as a birthday present from the past.
Khun
Damn! It's only 6 am! I woke up too early.
*In his mind:* Oh well..."the early bird catches the worm", I guess.
Khun hears the sound of scratching from his bedroom door
He walks slowly towards the door.
Khun
Uh, who's there? Is that you, Yumina? Have you finally decided to—
Near the door, Khun sees Ichigo, a white, female, Persian cat. The cat's name is Ichigo. Ichigo used to be a stray.
Two years ago, Khun saw Ichigo, almost dying, in an alley near his school. Signs of abuse and malnutrition were highly noticed on Ichigo. With this, Khun decided to adopt it and nurse it back to health. Little by little, Ichigo's state improved.
Khun smiles and opens his arms widely.
Ichigo hops towards Khun.
Khun embraces Ichigo.

Okay, I'll feed chuuu
Khun carries Ichigo and moves towards the stairs.
He walks down the steps.
Khun's room, in the two-story Victorian house he lives in, is in the second floor.
Khun stays at the house with his sister, Yumina, who is one year younger than him. Because of some events in the past, Yumina became a shut-in.
Due to financial problems, Khun's parents work overseas.
They keep in contact, along with other family members, via social media applications. They usually visit Khun and Ichigo on holidays or whenever they can.
Khun walks until he reaches the kitchen.
Khun takes a metallic pet bowl with Ichigo's name in it from a compartment in the kitchen and places it on the floor.
After seeing Khun place the bowl on the floor, Ichigo approaches Khun and waits for him to feed her.
Khun
Now...where is the cat food again?
Khun looks around and finds the cat food, a Whiskas Chicken Flavored one, near the refrigerator.
Khun takes a handsome amount of the said cat food and pours them into the bowl.
Khun couldn't help but smile as he watches Ichigo eat the cat food from the bowl.
Sister [Yumina Janus]
EEEEK!
Khun
That's Yumina...it came from upstairs?!
Episode 2: Time to Chat!
After hearing Yumina scream, Khun quickly ran upstairs.
Khun arrives at the door to Yumina's room.
Sister [Yumina Janus]
W-What?
Khun
I thought I heard you scream.
Sister [Yumina Janus]
It's nothing
Khun
Okay...well, I'm going to eat breakfast
Sister [Yumina Janus]
Okay
Khun
If you want to, we can—
Sister [Yumina Janus]
No, thanks.
Feeling a bit down, Khun goes back downstairs to eat breakfast.
Khun takes a box of chocolate flavored cereal from a shelf and places them on the table. Khun then takes a plastic bowl from the sink and pours milk in it.

Ah...something's missing
After eating, Khun returns to his room.
Khun
Ugh, where's my phone—?
When Khun looked around and he couldn't find it, he decided to check under the furniture.
After checking under his desk, he finally found his phone, a black Samsung J5 with an anime cover, under his bed.
Khun
It must've fallen off when I was asleep...
Khun
I have nothing to do. I should download an app.
After checking the App Store, one app piqued Khun's interest. It was a social media application called "Chattie"
Khun
It's an app that allows me to chat with people around me, huh. There are other features too.
Khun decides to download it. After waiting....
Khun
Alright, let me set my account up.
After setting up his account...
Khun
I'm feeling quite sleepy though.
Khun
Maybe I should sleep.
Khun lies down on the bed. The feeling of sleepiness takes over as Khun eventually falls asleep.
A New Message?
Khun continues sleeping until he hears beeping sound coming from his phone. Khun wakes up and slowly goes out of the bed to check his phone which was on his desk, opposite to his bed.

Someone sent me a message in Chattie?
Khun unlocks his phone and enters Chattie.
Khun checks his contacts.
Khun
No one from my contacts sent me a message. Only Yumina is in my contact anyway.
After checking contacts, Khun checks the messages tab.
He sees a girl in his messages with the username, "Misery"
Khun taps on Misery's message
Misery and Khun kept on chatting, until...
Khun
It would be impolite to decline...
Khun
I shouldn't stress about this yet... but, this is my first time meeting with a girl outside of school.
Khun walks towards his bed and lies down.
Khun
I'm still sleepy... I don't know what to feel about this, though.
