A black haired boy with gray eyes walk through the hallway, lost in his own thoughts.

'Who would have thought that I would meet her sooner than I expected. Thank you, fate.'

He was too lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice a blonde haired boy with green eyes walking beside him.

"Hey! Hiro!" The blonde haired boy called out and wave his hand in front of black haired boy, snapping him out of his thoughts

"Ah, Rei. Good morning." The black haired boy greet with a smile plaster on his face

"Are you okay? I've been calling you for the past few minutes, yet you didn't respond." The blonde haired boy ask

"Yes, I'm okay. Just a little sleepy." The black haired boy smile

"Ah, then that's fine. But if you have something on your mind, don't hesitate to talk to me. I'll always be here to listen to you." The blonde haired boy smile

"Yes, thank you, Rei." The black haired boy thank

'I'm really lucky to have someone like Rei as a cousin.'

Comfortable silence envelope them as they head to the stairs that connects the second and first floor.

The black haired boy bumped into someone as soon as they turn into the corner.

"Ah!" The black haired boy stumble backward while the person he bumped into fell down to the ground

"Ouch..." He look down at the person he bumped into and his eyes went wide before turning back to normal

'White hair...?'

A smile made its way into his lips and offer a hand to the white haired girl that he bumped into.

"Are you okay?" The black haired boy speak in a gentle manner

Annoyed, the white haired girl look up revealing a pair of red eyes filled with annoyance.

"Okay?! Who would be okay after bumping into someone?! You must be a-

The white haired girl couldn't finish her words and her eyes went wide as her eyes focused on the black haired boy in front of her who was offering a hand to help her stand on her feet.

'Why...?! You shouldn't have come here! You're not supposed to be here!'

"I don't need help! I can't stand on my own!" The white haired girl slap his hand away and stand up slowly before dusting her uniform off any dust and flip her hair

"Are you okay, Ohime-sama?!" A brown haired girl with violet eyes ask worriedly as she rush down the stairs

"Please don't rush down the stairs next time, Ohime-sama!" The brown haired girl examine the white haired girl for any bruise or injury

"You must be very frightened, Ayano-san." The brown haired girl turn her head around and saw the black haired boy and blonde haired boy

"Yes, very, very frightened. And I'm thankful that she just bumped into you rather that falling down the stairs." The brown haired girl speak

"Well, true. It's better that she bumped into us, rather than falling down the stairs." The blonde haired boy smile

Confuse written all over the white haired girl's face as she watch the three of them interacts with each other.

'I can see why Ayano is being friendly with Rei-kun, but I can't see why Ayano is being friendly with “him”. That is unless, he's part of the student council.'

The brown haired girl notice the white haired girl's confused stare at them and turn around to face her.

"My apologies, Ohime-sama. This is Kaizawa Hiroshi, the new student and the newly appointed vice president of the student council." The brown haired girl introduce

Hatred filled the white haired girl's eyes upon hearing the brown haired girl's words.

"O-Ohime-sama? I-Is s-something wrong?" The brown haired girl stutter

The white haired girl didn't utter a word and flip her hair before walking away from them.

'You're quite amazing, aren't you, Kaizawa Hiroshi? To entered the Elizabeth High School and joined the student council within just a week... Let's just see how long you can last in the student council, Kaizawa Hiroshi.'

Neither of these are seen as insulting, but watch out not to use them with a person sensitive about his/her age!

"... No, you did nothing to anger me. I'm sorry for behaving like that so suddenly." Ohime applogize

"Is there a reason for that?" Ayano ask

Ohime didn't respond and turn her head to the side, instead making Ayano confused. She look at Ohime for a moment before smiling.

"I understand, Ohime-sama. I won't ask about it anymore. But if you'd like someone to talk with, don't hesitate to come to me." Ohime look at Ayano with slight wide eyes before cracking a smile

"Yes, thank you, Ayano. And I'm sorry if I'm hiding some things from you." Ohime apologize

"It's okay, if you're comfortable with that, then it's okay, Ohime-sama." Ayano said with a smile still attached to her lips

"Now if you may excuse me, I still have a club activities to attend to. Please excuse me, Ohime-sama." Ayano bow and leave Ohime alone

Ohime's smile vanished as soon as Ayano disappear from her sight.

'I'm very sorry, Ayano. I'm sorry if I have secrets that I can't tell you. I'm really sorry.'

With a sigh leaving her lips, Ohime turn around and leave.

"Heh, so he still have some effects on you." A blonde haired man with red eyes smirk before taking a chocolate ball in his mouth

Ohime, who has been enduring his teasing for the past minutes, sat on the single black couch in front of him with irks marks decorating her face.

'Calm down, calm down. You can't hit an elder of the family.'

"Please be serious, Andrian-san." The blonde haired man chuckle at Ohime's annoyed voice before deciding to be serious

"Very well, I've head my fun. And now it's time to listen to my dear niece." The blonde haired man smile

'Didn't you also said that just few minutes ago?'

"Anyways, what I'm aksing is why did you let “him” enter the school?" Ohime ask before taking a sip of her tea

"You hate him too much that you refuse to hear his name, huh." The blonde haired man chuckle

"Please answer me." Ohime's grip on her tea cup tighten

The blonde haired man let out a chuckle before speaking.

"The answer is simple." The blonde haired man lean back on his seat and crossed his legs

Ohime raise a brow which he didn't failed to notice.

"Because he's just below you by a couple inches." The blonde haired man said before standing up and head toward the mahogany table

"What do you mean?" Ohime put her cup down on the saucer

"You see, he got the same score as you in the etrance exam and he has the same grades as you. Except that he's good at subjects at your worst subjects and you're good at his worst subjects." The blonde haired man hand Ohime a folder which she accepted without hesitation and opened it

Her eyes widen as she flip through pages.

'You must be kidding me... All of his grades are the same as mine. We have the same score in entrance exam and grades during middle school.'

"I just can't let such talent go to waste, can I? And besides, this is also your brothers' favor. I just can't refuse a favor from my nephews and nieces, rather, I don't want to refuse any favor from my nephews and nieces, of course, that also includes you, Ohime." The blonde haired man said before filling his cup with genmaicha tea for the 3rd time

"What if I ask you for a favor and that favor is to kick “him” out of the school? Would you accept it? Or refuse it?" Ohime ask, her hair casting a shadow over her eyes

"Too bad, I can't do it." The blonde haired man respond with a thin line forming on his lips

"And besides, don't you think it's time to stop your father from manipulating you?" He added

Ohime didn't utter a word and stand up from her seat and walk toward the door. Pain and sadness filled the blonde haired man's eyes before closing it.

Ohime grab the doorknob and twist it. But before she could take a step outside the room, she speak in a hurt and sad voice.

"Why would I bother to fight when I already lost before the fight starts?" And with that she leave the room

A sigh leaves the blonde haired man's lips as soon as the door shut.

'Because you're a coward. In stranger's eyes, you're mighty, unapproachable, and cold. But to those people who knows you nore than anything, you're nothing like that. You're delicate and soft. But I hope that Kaizawa Hiroshi can change you. I hope that he can be one of the reasons for you to fight for your own freedom.'

Ohime sat on her seat behind the mahogany table in the student council office with crossed legs and fingers tapping on the armrest while glaring daggers at Hiroshi who has a smile plaster on his face.

"Now, now, Hime-cchi. Stop glaring at Hiro like that. Or else you'll scare him to death." Rei chuckle unwrapping a chocolate candy and eat it

"I'm fine with that." Ohime said, still glaring daggers at Hiroshi

"Did Hiro did something to anger you, Ohime-sama?" Ayano ask as she put a tea cup in front of Ohime

"Yes! His very existence!" Ohime exclaimed earning her a chuckle from Hiroshi

"Don't be like that, president. Since we both are part of the student council, let's do our best and get along, okay?" Hiroshi smile

"Don't lump me together with you, you donkey! You and I are different!" Ohime exclaimed again earning her another chuckle from the black haired boy

"I guess that's true. Because a chicken and a donkey are different animals." Hiroshi smile causing more irk marks decorate Ohime's face

Ohime was about to speak when a couple knocks were heard from the other side of the door.

"Come in." The door opened a little and a male enter the room

"Good morning, president. I'm sorry for interrupting, but the swimming club needs Rei-san and Ayano-san." He said

Ohime's face went pale upon hearing the male student's words.

'You've gotta be kidding me! Don't leave me alone with “him”, Ayano, Rei!'

A chuckle leaves Hiroshi's lips as he notice how Ohime's face went pale.

'How adorable.'

"Well, it looks like we need to go, Aya-cchi. See you later, Hime-cchi, Hiro." Rei stand up and swing his bag over his shoulder before walking toward the door

"Yes, please excuse us, Ohime-sama, Hiro." Ayano bow and followed Rei who left the room

The male student also bow before leaving the room. Uncomfortable silence filled the room as soon as the door went shut.

Ohime let out an annoyed 'hump' before grabbing her turquoise nintendo switch from her bag.

"Heh, so you're still playing nintendo swicth, huh. I thought you already stop playing months ago." Hiroshi smile which earned him nothing but a death glare

"Don't talk to me!" Ohime exclaimed annoyedly before focusing back to her game

"Why are you so cold and hateful toward me?" Hiroshi chuckle

"Because I hate you." Ohime respond, eyes glued to the screen of her nintendo switch

"Hate me? Isn't it supposed to be the contrary? I should be the hating you, not you hating me, right?" Ohime halt in her movements at Hiroshi's words

"W-Why are y-you bringing up t-that right now?" Ohime's voice cracked as she fight the urge to cry and focused on playing

'Curse you, voice! How dare you betray me!'

Hiroshi purse his lips as he hear Ohime's voice cracking. He look at her in the corner of her eyes and saw her watery eyes through her white hair.

"Hey, Ohime..." Hiroshi trailed off

"Tell me, was everything nothing but a mere lie?" Ohime's grip tighten upon hearing Hiroshi's words

Ohime couldn't respond and her grip on her nintendo switch tighten, eyes getting blurry, and chest stinging.

'H-How should I-I answer that when I-I d-don't want to lie?'

Ohime's lips quiver before standing up abruptly and left the room with her bag and nintendo switch on her hands. Hiroshi's hair cast a shadow over his eyes as he didn't try to stop Ohime from leaving the room.

He cover his eyes using his forearm and face the ceiling as soon as he heard the door shut.

'She didn't even bother to take a look at me. Ah, how painful.'
