The sky was covered with pitch black smoke, as though painting the whole place black.

Followed by the thick smell of blood lurking all over the place, the horror in everyone who have died in the middle of this.

In the middle of such a place stands a building that seemed to have been abandoned a long time ago, from it a loud cheering could be heard along with the clanging of glasses as though celebrating something.

They have a yellowish skin, a long lines tattoo on their body, large build, full of iron muscles, tall and could act, speak and think like humans does. A mutated Zombie Humans, or more known in what they call, mutants.

*Tap\, tap*

“A few meters ahead, approximately 8 meters ahead, there's about a bunch of mutants ahead.” A young human in a blue hoodie and dark pants said as they tapped on their laptop's keyboard while sucking a lollipop in their mouth.

“I see, can you guys take care of them?” The person on the other line asked.

The young human smirked as they take the lollipop out of their mouth and confidently said. “Piece of cake. Right Liam?”

A young man on a high school uniform behind the human wearing a human step out and looked at the direction ahead with a gloomy face. “Hmm.”

“I see, then be careful and finish the task as fast and quietly as possible.”

“Yes ma'am!” The one in a hood saluted to the air and the other line end the call.

The one in a hood smiled and insert their lollipop once again as they packed their stuff into their pocket and stood up to do some stretching.

“Well? Let's go have fun!” The one in a head sprinted into the mutant's base in a high speed, while the young man in a high school uniform followed at the same pace.

They soon arrived at the mutant's base.

“Huh-?” before the mutants at the door could even finish their sentence, a quick wind passed them along with their heads slicing off their necks.

“Here we go~” The one in a hood started walking inside the mutant's base, followed by Liam, the high school boy behind them.

As they walk inside they found that there are not a single mutant at the first, second, and third floors of the building other than the ones who were seemingly guarding the entrance back at the 1st floor.

But as they walk further, they could clearly hear the cheering on the top floor, it seems that it's not really empty, but that they are all gathered at the very top celebrating something.

“Phew~ luckily you all are still here, I was worried my drones scanned wrong for a minute” The one in a hoodie rubbed the back of their head as the walked in the den on the mutants.

With the sudden visit of an unknown human into their celebration, the mutants were all surprised and wondering why and where they came from.

The mutant at the back, the one with a large mace at hand, stood up and approached these ignorant humans who came onto them willingly.

Swinging the large mace to his back, the mutant closed the distance between him and the two humans.

“How did you-”

“Liam.”

“HUH-?” Before the mutant with a large mace could even finish, Liam, who was standing quietly still at the back, suddenly slashed through the mutant in front, slicing the mutant into cubes along with the large mace on their hand.

The mutants who are watching their stand in shock, Wally, the best warrior of their base, was easily sliced into tiny cubes in front of them without even struggling to survive.

And that wasn't all, a mere high school boy not even half of Wally's height is the cause of this mess.

“K- AAAA!!!! RUN!!!!!”

The crowd of mutants started to scatter around the place as they screamed.

The human in a hood lowered their hoodie down as they put on their earphones and played some music.

“Liam, madam said to do it quietly.” They said, as they sat at one of the chairs over there while guarding the door, making sure to kick everyone coming at the entrance back inside.

“…” Liam looked at the human on a hoodie blankly as he saw them on their phone, seemingly enjoying themself as they kicked back every mutant who tried to escape the room.

As one of the mutants started to smash his head off, Liam's attention shifted from the human on a hoodie to the mutants who are currently trying to fight back again.

After some time, Liam finished up on his end and every mutant he fought with are all on the ground either with a smashed head, missing head, their limbs cutted into pieces or with missing parts, there's not a single mutant left with their body intact.

Liam approached the one on a hood quietly, Seraph, who was busy with their phone, noticed Liam's approach and looked up to him and behind him.

“Hmm. As expected! You're really as cruel as ever, I even felt pity for the mutants for a minute there” Seraph hid their phone inside their pocket and stand up from their seat.

“Well, let's leave this place before another horde of zombies enters” Liam followed Seraph as they left the base, Seraph lit up a lighter setting the whole place on fire.

“Let's go” The two quietly leave the place as seraph informed their superior about their work.

“Good, come back as soon as possible, there's an urgent mission for the two of you”

“Yes ma'am, On the way” The line ended, and the two hurriedly went back to their quarters.

At the Headquarters

There are 11 seats that were already occupied and 4 seats that are still empty. While waiting, there's only silence in the room until someone entered.

*Creak*

The door opened and a tall man with a visible beard wearing a fashionable clothing and sunglasses entered.

"Oh? And here I thought I was the last one to arrive, looks like those two are still last as always" He said as he sat down on one of the empty seats.

"Why won't you sit down on one of the those empty seat, Drake?" Simon, a guy in his early 20s wearing street clothes, asked as he snickered.

"This brat, Why don't you do it if you feel like doing so?" Drake said with a smiling face as he suppressed his urge to smack this rude guy's head on the table.

There's no way he would set down on one of those empty seats that are beside each other, not unless he's tired of living would he ever sat there ever again, he could still remember the traumatic experience he had when he tried to sit there.

Simon was about to rebuke when he heard the door opened.

*Clack*

The door opened, revealing Seraph as she put off her hoodie, followed by Liam on her tail.

"Well, speaking of the devil" He whispered.

"???" Liam stared at the silent atmosphere around the table, but he instinctively knew that they were talking about them a few minutes ago.

"Woah~ Snacks early in the morning? Thank you!" Seraph said enthusiastically as she takes some snacks on the table.

"What morning, It's already 6:45 in the evening Seraph" Monique, a Lolita with porcelain skin tone, bright blue eyes wearing a Victorian style dress full of ribbon designs with rich white, blue and violet colors. Adding the fact that she always carry a white and black teddy bear everywhere she went, She totally looked like a doll.

"Oh? Is that so? So it's already evening" Seraph said, uninterested as she munched down the snacks she has.

A little while later, the door opened again, this time it revealed a young and tall woman with long wavy coal like hair wearing a military designed uniform in which added to her strong demeanor as she sat at the empty seat at the very end of the table.

"I'm sure every one of you already got a guess as to why I called you lot here" Xiannah said as she looked at them one by one checking that everyone is present in the meeting.

"Well I kinda got a guess as for why we're gathered here, but I'm not sure if it's right" Jade at the very end of the lined table said as he played with his dagger.

"While it's cool that you got an idea, you better put that thing down before you see a hole on your head" Ciel who's seating across Jade said in a monotone tone and an expressionless face, in these cases Jade would usually joke around about ciel's tone and facial expression but seeing him stare at his dagger, Jade knew he better take his words seriously, or he might really get a hole on his head and hid his dagger.

".., Well let's go to the point first and put down all of your weapons" Xiannah said as she turn her chair into the monitor behind her and there reveal many templates and plans.

"First of all, we found a new portals that seemed to have appeared like the ones before, I don't think it's a problem right now but it might become one of 'those' portals that we need to resolve in order to close down or else it will become a new kind of of portal where new types of monsters will come out. If you could, recruit some guys that could become helpful to us." Xiannah continued as the next slide shows up.

"The portal was estimated to be S Rank and out of everyone here only 5 people will get permission to join the subjugation." She said as she turn off them monitor.

"I get the Idea, but I don't get why you need to gather all of us in order to subjugate this portal when you're only gonna give permission to five people?" Ciel asked suspiciously, from the way she said it, it would seem reasonable to call them but if only 5 people are allowed in the subjugation then why bother gathering all 14 of the top Agents?

It seems to be that they're trying to put them against each other.

Xiannah smiled as ciel ask her that, To be honest she already expected that question and she already has an answer in hand.

"That's exactly why, you lots that are gathered here are to compete against each other in order to join the subjugation." As soon as xiannah finished talking her part, the room was filled with heavy atmosphere, it is clear what xiannah wanted to say and they clearly get it.

Amidst all the tension, Seraph break into the heavy silence.

" 'Out of every one here only 5 people will get permission to join the subjugation' you say, so you mean to say that we aren't the ones to enter the portal are we?" Seraph continued to munch her cookies, and with her sentence everyone in the room was startled and stared at xiannah who's currently smiling.

"Hmm, you're unexpectedly quick on the uptake today Seraph" everyone in the room sighed and the tension relieved.

"So that was it."

"Hmm? Why? What else are you expecting me to let you do?" Xiannah asked innocently but the rest just looked at her with a sighed. She's messing with them again.
