*this story design concept was created on December 2019. written on January-May 2020

Enn Vassili is the name of 9 kingdoms that spread all around the world. Each kingdom is filled with a clan that has their own form and characteristics. The 9 kingdoms include:

- Draecorona\, kingdom of the Dragons at the north pole

- Groilandia\, a land filled with lush green forests in the northwest.

- Mavr Lykos\, a kingdom covered in fog in the northeast

- Vouna\, the holy land located in the center of Enn Vassili

- Chaldene\, the land that guarded by the Unicorn in the southeast

- Nereida\, kingdom that filled by flower gardens in the northeast

- Miwamori\, inhabited by fire foxes in the east

- Asteria\, a continent which floating in the southern sky

- Thalassas\, all oceans in Enn Vassili as the territory

Enn Vasiili, bright blue skies and vast green meadows spread out. Sparrows fly one after another, chirping. The summer breeze is gentle, the sun's rays seem to embrace warmly and peacefully. But suddenly the grass dried and the birds turned to dust. Followed by an open black hole gaping in the sky devours everything on earth. The light disappeared, the air became extremely cold. The earth is dried with dead trees and cracked ground.

But a comet then passed with its golden tail, splitting the sky so that the Milky Way and everything in it appeared. As it passed, the comet seemed to say..

".. it's the turn of the leaders to save the world.."

The golden Comet then crashed into the black hole, erasing it from the sky. Remaining Nine meteors that glide and explode in 9 different places. Heavy rain then fell as if the water just poured from the sky. After that, only white and emptiness could be seen as far as sight.

DEG! Ali's eyes widened when he woke up from his sleep. He turned his sight to the bedroom window where a pair of thin white curtains were gently blowing in the wind. The morning sky was clear and cloudless, in contrast to the dream he had just seen from his sleep. The dream he knew was not just a sleeping flower. Ali then got out of bed, washed his face and changed his nightgown into a long-sleeved shirt wrapped in a white robe with a hood with gold beaded detail. With her favorite brown high-soled shoes, she exited the room down the stairs to her castle library.

“Good morning—Mr. Ali?” two Ann Meyra castle workers greeted him.

The two maids were confused to see Joseph walking fast until he was sweating and panting as if being chased by something. His hurried steps echoed down the length of Ann Meyra's hallway. Arriving at the library he immediately headed to the back row of shelves where old books full of mysteries whose authors were not known were neatly arranged.

"Where is.. that book.. it should be around here.." His strong fingers were sorting among dozens of fragile copies which the language was slightly different from the language of that era. "Ah! This is it..” Once he found the book he was looking for, he immediately took it. As he sat at the tables facing one of the library's large windows, he sorted through the shabby pages of an ancient book that recounted legends of the past.

20.000 years ago in the Enn Vassili, a massive war between the 9 kingdoms broke out and caused millions of lives to be lost. The 9 kingdoms are Draecorona, Groilandia, Mavr Lykos, Vouna, Asteria, Chaldene, Thalassas, Nereida and Miwamori. Each of these kingdoms is filled with 9 different clans that hold 9 elements of life. Dragon, Beast, Shapeshifter, Demigod, Celestial, Human, Siren, Pixy and Kitsune (tailed fire foxes).

The endless battle between the 9 clans shattered the earth and seemed want to erase the traces of life forever. The ice that the Dragons spewed froze the seas and rivers, the lightning of the Beasts blew up the forests and settlements. Misleading Shapeshifter’s mist and Demigod magic that traps their victims. The Celestials innate strong wind clashed with the earthquake created by human wizard and witches. Sirens' tidal wave and the rain of Pixies' magic rose thorns assaulted everyone around them. Forest fires caused by Kitsune fire leave ash and smoke that suffocating the chest. In just half a day, thousands of villages and dozens of cities were destroyed by it. The war was caused by an earthquake which resulted in the opening of a giant fissure at the south pole from which a large amount of Magia (magic energy) spread throughout the Enn Vassili. Unlike the original 9 clans' Magia which are positive, the negative earth crevice Magia is absorbed by the 9 clans' magic system and affects each individual to fight aimlessly, relentlessly until they loses or runs out of life force due to too much chanting spells and magic.

Dragons and Beasts with fiery red eyes, Celestials with 3 pairs of wings, Kitsune with multiple tails, all clashed blinded by the magnitude of Magia's blow from the earth's rift. Unable to stand watching the world slowly destroyed, an Alicorn descended from heaven and then built a giant gate with his magic to close the gap in the earth. Wings flaps and a blue scarf dangled along with the magic that emanated from his horn. Gate of south, that's the name given by those who know the legend. The mighty Alicorn locks the giant gate with 9 different keys and spreads it across the 9 kingdoms of Arc Chaestra so that no one with evil intentions interferes with the curse within the gate. After spreading the nine keys, he then stayed there quietly. Keeping the gates of disaster tight and no longer disrupting the balance of the universe.

"It’s wasn’t good.. after 2000 years passed the gate finally .." there’s a long sigh at the end of his words.

Ali closed his book, he didn't think he had just received a message through his dream last night. The golden-tailed comet he saw was the embodiment of the Alicorn himself, while the 9 meteors were the keys to the Gate of South spread across 9 kingdoms. The black hole is a form of the Gate of South which is likely to reopen in the near future. Then the words of the golden comet, is a special message for him. The 9 rulers of the kingdom meant him, the Father of Demigod who held the highest power in Vouna along with 8 Kings from other lands.

Heavy rain is a symbol of grief, a sign that the Alicorn has returned to heaven because he has been on earth for too long. While the white color and the emptiness after it means an uncertain future, depending on whether or not the world is saved by them.

While silently staring at the Gate of South painting on the pages of his book, he then folded his arms and closed his eyes and thinking. The Demigod Clan served as the link between the world and heaven. The vision in his dream is a real sign. He felt that it would not be easy to find 9 keys hidden for 2000 years in 9 kingdoms that he had never visited. The relationship between the 9 kingdoms is also quite bad, especially after the Gate of South war. The 9 clans hate each other or rather are afraid of each other. Joseph himself admitted that he was afraid of Dragons and Beasts because of their ferocity during the war in the legend. He wasn't sure whether he would trust Shapeshifter or Siren because they were both said to be good at deceiving and misleading. Celestials and Demigods have a connected history, will the Celestial King believe in him?

On the other hand, he felt really confused. Regarding the decision for Vouna, which is the country he leads, it must involve the Minister and his subordinates. Meanwhile this issue concerns Enn Vassili, 9 kingdoms, with their own leaders. Never meeting or getting to know each other, he didn't even know their names. He stared at the table for a long time until he finally decided to leave, carrying the Gate of South legend book in his hand.

Yes, the Alicorn has guarded the Gate of South for more than 20,000 years, guarding Enn Vassili and the 9 kingdoms in it from destruction. The 9 clans which inhabiting the kingdoms include:

Ancient kingdom as old as history. Mighty, tough, and powerful, but down to their King’s rules.

1. Dragon.

Clans of various types of dragons in the north pole where covered with snow, ice and blue oceans. The kingdom named Draecorona was led by Chris (Bangchan), the King of Dragons who came from the ice dragons. His eyes are bright blue and his breath was cold. His hair is white with a pair of golden horns. He wears a Blue

Spirit tiara on his forehead, a tiara that signifies that he’s the Dragon King. He’s a great Leader that respected by all of his subjects.

2. Beast.

Nation of animals or half animals of various types and sizes such as cats, dogs, and even wolves. A clan that has a strong pride. They live in the western forests of Groilandia lush with rivers and rich of natural resources.

They are led by a chosen Feline, Command of Beast, Minho (Lee Know). Beasts are clans that rarely use magic, but don't underestimate their red Magia. The red Magia symbolizes a strong pride. Magia was able to bend the thunder and anyone who dared to challenge them.

3. Shapeshifter\, ruler of the Lyav Mavr region. The kingdom where the sky is always cloudy like a fog. They can change into human beings or animals as freely as they are except creatures that are considered 'sacred'. They are embodiment of darkness. They’re feared by other clans. There are rumors that say "don't trust Shape shifter\, they can 'change' at any time". Louis (Changbin)\, is a Spirit of Darkness. The darkness in him is true. He is a Shape Shifter with a pair of eyeballs 'darker than black'.

Their wings as white as clouds while the feathers as soft as summer breeze. Legends said they’re the one who paints the wind as clear.

4. Celestial.

The clans that lived in the great continent of Asteria were floating in the southern sky. A kingdom that surrounded by a sea of white clouds and an ocean that seemed far below where the wind always blows gently caressing the vast grassland. Their white wings are very charming. They are sky protector clans who are loved by the wind. Their Magia colour was Yellow. Sam (Hyunjin), the Ruler of Asteria is a beautiful king. He wears a golden crown on his head which the Skystar diamond putted on it. He has a heirloom spear called Chriso Macairi which has the power to cut the sky or create a typhoon. Celestials have the ability to control the Wind.

When the Unicorns offers you their magic, they also offers you their trust and bonds. When humans offers you their kindness, they also offers you their heart.

5. Humans.

Compared to other clans who have natural magic, magic possessed by humans is a gift from the Unicorns for those who want to learn it. Humans and Unicorns live together in Chaldene for some time. Unicorn magic is an earth controlling magic that makes it easy for humans to farm, raise livestock, and other activities in life. They live in peace under the care of a Royal Knight, Guardian of Chaldene, Peter (HAN). Peter is a friendly and innocent Knight. His cheerfulness makes anyone feels comfort.

6. Sirens.

Human half-fish clan living in the deep ocean, Thalassas. Ruler of water and sea depth. It is said that their kingdom’s spark can seemed even from the surface. Also the legends said their Magia which made the sea water blue and clear. Felix (Yongbok) the Earl of Sirens is a freedom-loving siren. His job is not only to protect Thalassas but also oceans throughout the world. Felix has a charming look and voice. His bright red hair is perfect for a crown.

When he get bored in the palace, he often taking a trip with dolphins around the ocean.

When Prince Sky open up his wings, he showed the true beauty of the Grace of Moon Flower is. When he sing, he spread the blessed he had. And when he smiles, you’ll fall in love.

7. Pixies. Flower fairy clans. Anyone who enters their kingdom\, Nereida\, will be spoiled with blooming flowers and dishes as sweet as honey. And whoever sees Prince of Pixies\, Sky (Seungmin) will surely be stunned by his gentle eyes and sweet smile. Their magic is spring magic. Magic which the grace of flowers and full moon. Not with a magic wand or spell book\, Pixies release their magic by singing. Likewise Sky\, his singing voice released a blue Magia that was as beautiful as his wings.

8. Kitsune.

The fox clan who lives in the eastern forest Miwamori. They are not ordinary foxes, but sacred foxes which born from fire. When they’re born, their tail is just one, but as their age, their tails will increase. And when they’re old enough or reach peak strength, their tails will be 9. On that moment, they will stay in the temple waiting for the moment to reincarnate. It is said that the ashes from their reincarnation will fly, unite with clouds and fall as rain that fertilizes the earth. For now, the position of Priest of Foxes is held by Jeongin (I.N) the 7-tailed Foxes who also the master of solar fire.

9. Demigod.

Half-God clan. They are embodiment of purity and light. They live in the holy land, the mountains of Vouna which are always illuminated by the sun during the day and the moon at night. They are the clans of worshipers of gods in heaven. Their clothes are all white. The Demigods have a respected person, a role model for all Vouna people, who called as the Father of Demigods named Ali. His magical ability which reaches a high level emits golden Magia, a symbol of heavenly magic.

"Kriet... Brakk..!!!" the large door of Ann Meyra's research room was opened by Ali. A spacious and well-equipped room containing magic experiment tools and spell books of all kinds. There are also objects collected from across the Enn Vassili. Unicorn horn powder, Pegasus feathers, Dragon and Siren scales, Kitsune dust and many more. He then took a piece of chalk­ and started to draw a magic circle on the floor. A summoning magic circle accompanied by items related to the individuals he wanted to summon. A lump of sapphire, tiger fangs, mist in a bottle, pigeon feathers, silver knife, seashells, petals of a moon orchid and a burning candle. The objects he put away from each other in a magic circle. After the preparations were complete he took two steps back and opened his spell book.

".. Ice in the north, unrivaled.. Wind from the west, guide my journey.. Forest in the east, whisper the song of the soul.. South sea.. Endless waiting.. Our goddess Malina, please guide the 8 Kings of the world to attend right here, in this place, right now…” The magic circle slowly glowed golden yellow. A vibration was felt on the floor. The objects that were gathered in a circle slowly disappeared, replaced by the 8 individual leaders of the other kingdoms in the Enn Vassili.

"AAAAHHHH BEAST...!!!! St.. STAY AWAY..!!!" the Lord knight pointed his sword at a man with gray hair, feline ears and a white tiger tail. The beast that was threatened with the sword just stared blankly with his pair of yellow eyes.

"..Meow" while tilting his head the Beast man teased the knight.

"AAAAAAAAAAAA.......... "

“Who are you?!?!" the Celestial stood by with his magic spear. He looked one by one at those around him and was amazed at the sparkle of the Pixy King's blue wings.

"D..D..D.. Dragon..." while trembling the red-haired Kitsune looked at a man with white hair and golden horns. There is also white fur from his nape to the back also his blue-striped tail. From the fox's ears that were bent downwards, it was clear that the leader of the Flame Fox clan was frightened

Meanwhile the Siren was still sitting in silence wondering why he was suddenly on land, in a strange place, with his tail that had turned into a pair of legs. Side by side with the man in the gray robe man beside him.

"This place.. It's too bright.. It must be in Vouna.." said the robed man while covering his head with a hood to hide his face.

"Welcome to Vouna's main castle, Ann Meyra.. I am the leader of the Vouna kingdom in this era, Ali Owen, the Father of Demigod.. I summoned you here because there is something important regarding the future of Enn Vassili that I can’t decide by myself .." while bowing and pulling off his robe Ali introduced himself. His sturdy body and loud voice subdued the confusion of the other Kings there. There was silence for a moment until one of them spoke up.

".. I'm Sky Kim, Prince of Pixy.. I was talking to my escort just before being brought here.. I seem to be able to sense what you want to discuss with us.." The blue-winged Pixy introduced himself. He had been floating in the air for a while but finally set his feet on the ground. His thin wings are lace-like with beautiful pattern. He didn’t wear a crown but a beret hat decorated with a crescent moon clip and white flower petals. His eyes are indigo with a firm yellow circle at the edges of his black pupils. The neck robe with a long tie that he wore was quite cute and charming. The color of his clothes are matching, a white shirt with blue gradations, turquoise trousers, a light blue neck robe, white calf-high boots, a yellow tie and a white beret made of fur that matches his light brown hair very well.

".. Hi Ali, Sky.. I'm Samuel Hwang, Ruler of Asteria. I don't understand anything but I hope you can explain in as much detail as you can about what you mean" His pair of white wings flapped also blew a few strands of white feathers into the air. He kept his spear again in his magic dimension. Samuel had a very handsome face. His long healthy black hair touched his nape. Unlike the crownless Ali and Sky, he wears a gold crown with glittering blue gems. His Uniform looks formal. A suit and pants in matching cobalt blue, white cloth around the waist and black boots with 5 cm high heels. His appearance is really elegant.

Ali smiled, he was relieved that two people calmly believed in him.

“... standing on my own feet.. it feels weird.. it's been a long time since I last took human form..” While staggering, the King of Siren stood up on a pair of legs.

"huft.. Felix, Earl of Sirens.. don't mind if I suddenly talk strange huh.. land is not my habitat .." As beauty as Samuel, the color of his hair that has red and pink gradations is stunning, plus a decorative crown with a simple design with an amethyst in the middle. His voice sounded quite manly and deeply impressed. The clothes he wears are quite unique, a black crop top with short sleeves and connected with cuffs on other sleeve while the other has long sleeves. He wears Dreamcatcher earrings on his left ear and gold bracelets on his right arm. His belly is visible while his navel is covered with a cloth. Unlike the others, he wore shorts accompanied by calf-high socks and thick-soled boots.

The knight stopped brandishing his sword, then introduced himself.

"Peter Han.. Guardian of Chaldene.. I'm not the King who holds the full government but the highest knight.. My job is to protect Chaldene and all of it .." by lifting his chin Peter showed his confidence. The armor he wore did not cover his entire body, only the chest, waist, arms, calves to the soles of the feet and a headpiece that showed real bravery. As an inner he wears a yellow shirt and blue trousers and a white scarf that hangs from his hips to his knees.

"If I introduce myself are you not afraid?" from his appearance it was clear he was a Dragon who was taking on his half-human form. His tail wags, his fangs peeking. His pierce sight of blue eyes were the hallmark of the Dragons.

Ali gulped, the Dragon and Beast he had been afraid of was now in front of him. Peter was still holding his sword, the Kitsune's ears were still bent while Sky and Sam stared blankly at the two known savage clans. Felix? His pair of purple eyes actually sparkled while staring at the cold breathing figure.

Dragon and Beast looked at each other, then the Dragon decided to introduce himself first..

"Chris Bang.. Just call me Chris, I'm the current King of Dragons.. The tiara I'm wearing is proof that I'm the current King of the Dragons.. I hope you don't swallow the myth that we are just bloodthirsty beasts" while parting his bangs, a gold tiara with blue sapphire revealed its luster. Blue spirit, that's the Tiara name. His white hair was tied in a ponytail. He wore iron armor on his hands up to his elbows and feet up to his calves. His clothes are somewhat skimpy where part of his chest and belly are visible while his arms are also exposed. A short gray cloak covers his back where the base of the wings is. A gold ring is coiled at the end of his tail. He seemed to know that he was being watched by those who were there.

"Okay, I'm Minho, Command of Beast.. I'm a white Feline, you can see from the appearance of my ears and tail, right? Now it's just the two of you who haven't introduced yourself yet." Minho looked at the Kitsune and Shapeshifter while folding his arms. His arms were wrapped in white tiger fur cuffs which made him look adorable. The red color dominates his outfit. The black trousers and tie he wore added to his prestige.

“...I am Louis Seo, Spirit of Darkness-” the Shapeshifter introduced himself curtly. As his nickname, gray and black dominate his appearance, even his hair is jet black. The only difference is his brown boots. He seemed very uncomfortable with being in Vouna at the moment, it could be seen from his curt manner of speech. While timidly the Kitsune introduced himself..

".. Je.. Jeongin.. Priest of Foxes.. I'm a seven tailed fox.. nice to meet you.." Jeongin's age is 20 years old Kitsune or 160 human years. Happi's layered outfit is predominantly red and orange with a black obi. Dark blue hakama and clog sandals complete his look. There are a total of seven bells that Jeongin wears, according to the number of his tails. Two on the headpiece, two on each end of Happi's sleeves, two on the back ribbon that tied his obi and the largest one he wore as a necklace. The Kings now finished introducing themselves.

"So.. Why did you summoned us here?" Minho asked Ali.

"You know the legend of the Gate of South, right?"

"Of course.. The worst tragedy in the history of the Enn Vassili.. I have a bad feeling about this..." Sky replied.

"The Alicorn.. I got a message from him in my dream last night. He is no longer there.. No longer guarding the Gate of the south.. because he’s not belong to the earth now he has returned to Heaven.."

"Then why? Doesn't the legend say that the gate was locked with 9 keys?" Fingering his brown hair, Peter replied.

"Actually it's not that simple.. according to this book, the keys are only for support. The physical system that locks the gate. Without the Alicorn magic guarding it the seal will slowly fade and in the near future, the gate will open.. And yes, there is a possibility that the disaster of war will repeat itself.. The black hole I saw in a dream, it’s the worse.." Ali showed a page from his book which contained the magic seal system that the Alicorn used on the Gate of South. The pictures and spells written there are a bit unclear and need a translation of the grammar, but Ali has prepared so that the explanations can be understood by the 8 Kings.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

"I didn't even bother to waste a big amount of Magia to summon you here if this was just a prank..."

"Then what can we do? Find 9 keys and then seal the gate ourself?" Louis, nonchalantly replied.

"Yes.. it is.. Our goal is not only to re-lock the gate, but to seal it with our magic.. with the 9 clans' Magia.. And to do so, we still need 9 keys.." Ali opened another page in In his book, there is a description of the 9 keys along with the spells and the golden Magia used to seal the gates of disaster.

"?!?!?"

“How can we believe that the writer of the book isn't bragging? How do we know that the contents of the book are not mere lies?” Louis bluffed. He didn't want to just trust in Ali and his book.

"Twenty thousand years you know... The keys were hidden for twenty thousand years...." with wide eyes Samuel expressed his surprise.

"Guys, calm down.. I don't think he's lying.. I said that I was talking to my escort before I was brought here? We talked about this... Gate of South. Just like Ali, my escort has accurate vision and predictions..” Sky tried to defend Ali. He was the same, didn't want to believe it because the unlocked Gate of South was sick news. But the regret of not believing him felt much worse.

“...to be honest, since last night my magic trainer who is a unicorn seems to be restless like he wants to talk to me about something.. but his eyes are glimmering with doubt.. does that count as a sign?” said Peter. Yes, Unicorns coexist with humans and some of them even offer to teach magic. Peter himself is one of the great wizards trained by a Unicorn.

".. the dream that I saw was continuous with the testimony of each of you .." Ali turned around while holding his head, dizzy.

The wind blew past the window of the magic research room. The hair and cloaks of the Kings were torn by it. It was still early in Vouna's time but the 9 Enn Vassili Kings had discussed something crucial about the future of their world.

"Therefore, do any of you have at least a clue about the whereabouts of the 9 keys? Either from a myth from a certain area or the testimony of one of your people?" asked Ali again.

They were silent as they thought. Trying to remember anything about the 9 keys.

"We don't know anything.. We only know the legend.. there are no clues about where was it in Draecorona" finally Chris opened his voice.

"Asteria is the same... I thought after being sealed by the Alicorn, the gate is no longer a threat..."

"uhm.. Miwamori too, there was no clue.." Unlike the others, Jeongin seemed very shy.

"Nereida has many myths and legends.. But none of them talk about the exact location of the Gate of South key"

"I've talked to some of the Unicorns I met, we discussed the Gate of South several times but didn't even talk about the keys..."

"Maybe they actually know??

"Who knows?"

"...Or maybe I can help with this..." Felix took out a glass ball with a red iron arrow inside it. It looks like a compass but has no directions. An object that looks simple but its magical luster is amazing.

"You may not believe me.. But the Alicorn himself handed down this heirloom to me.. The warmth, I feel every time I use this thing.. it can find any object, anywhere, and take you anywhere..." Felix accidentally activated his magic on the clear glass ball.

".. I call this thing.. Broken compass.." Magic dust from turqoise Magia circled around Broken compass forming a braid like ocean waves.

Swoosshhh...... Felix's eyes lit up as his magic worked. The wind started to blow around him.

"ngh.. Calm down Felix, we will unite our magic and spells later.. I have to choose a spell and draw a magic circle first.." Ali held Felix's hand and his Broken compass. The gust of wind and magic dust disappeared in an instant.

"Ah, I'm sorry.. This kind of thing like to happen suddenly.. Haha.. Ha.." Felix woke up from his magic and put the Broken compass back.

"So, where do we find the first key?"

"How about we start from the North, Draecorona?"

"Are you sure? Are you ready to come to a land inhabited by Dragons?"

"Uhm.. Yes.. Even if we don't visit Draecorona now, won't we still have to go there? I'll draw a magic circle immediately to teleport there"
