I'm in my lab arranging my files, these past few days many zombie cases has been reported to me that they are acting strange and still there is so many of them.

I'm currently working for an antidote and being a scientist I need to see and hunt a zombie myself to be able to get some information I need.

I called my assistant Dr. Kim, we've been friends since high school and that day we are going to graduate all of this mess happened.

Y/n: Dr. Kim can you please inform our people that I'm going out to get some zombies.

Y/n: Dr. K-

Jin: Can you please don't call me Dr. Kim we are alone you can just call me Jin and besides we are friends. Don't be so formal in from of me.

Y/n: Okay I get just inform them and drop off the the warning light tell them to secure all the places I'm gonna get ready.

Jin: Okay I'll call the bo-

Y/n: Nope I'm not bringing anyone I'm going alone there.

Jin: Are you sure? What if you don't come back?

Y/n: listen here Jin don't be so dramatic I'm just going out and I can't bear to loose my people again.

Jin: But We still don't know what they are capable of, they are getting stronger. It's not safe out there you know that the zombies are getting more and more strange.

Y/n: That's the point Jin I need to see it myself how can I be able to get the right formula if I don't dig in more what are we going to do?

Y/n: We don't have much time now it's been 3 freaking years and we still don't have the antidote for this mess.

Y/n: Base on my observation they are getting more aggressive and stronger we can't hold them any more, this is the last safe place.

Jin: I know that you want to save us all but you can't just do it alone. All the people out there are dead not a single person there are alive as a human.

Y/n: I still believe that somebody is there and needs my help, our help, just stay positive**.

Jin just stand there quietly not removing his gaze at me. I know he cares about me, I'm scared to be alone too but I can't let my fear take over me.

But no... from now on I'm not going to be scared anymore people out there trust me to find the cure for all of this. I need to take avenge for my family in a good way.

Y/n: Jin I appreciate your concern but I'll go myself...end of discussion. Do your thing and I'll do my thing okay? Don't worry I'll come back in a flesh.

After that I just left him there and get ready to go out, I wear my protection and bring enough equipment to use. Also food I don't know how long it will take me to come back.

Announcer: We are going to open the gate be ready all of you crack your bones before we proceed.

They all laugh and I can't help but to laugh too because even we are in this kind of situation they don't forget to laugh. I really wanna help them.

Announcer: Okay be ready Dr. Y/n I wish you all the best and please come back safe.

They all give me a look and I just smile at them knowing that they are hoping that I will get the right information to make the antidote.

Y/n: Promise I won't let you down, I'll come back safe.

The gate finally open and the zombies started to get on my way. I heard gun shot from above it's my people they are helping me to surpass the zombies from our hallway.

Once I get out of the safe place I know that I need to embrace myself there's no one to help me now I have to be quick as possible as I can, the quicker the better.

I check my watch it's 4:36am in the morning and its still dark outside but I can see the sky started to turn into indigo color. I better start to hunt.

(Time skip - After 6 hours)

I just finished escaping the zombies around the area it's been 6 hours since I started walking. But it seems like there's nothing much happening.

They are still like that, hunting a flesh and aggressive as always but not like before they are noisy, but now the whole town is quiet and... At least some of the places are empty.

I think it's strange but it's good right? I mean there's no zombies all around like always. Later on I have a call from our safe place and it's Jin.

Y/n: Yes?

Jin: We have a problem I think our electricity have a little problem. Our generators are not functioning properly maybe you could check the system.

Jin: I know it's dangerous but we really need to fix this.

Y/n: Wait. What? What happened there? Is there any problem?

Jin: Okay I'm going to be honest all our power shut down and we can't let that happen in next few hours we don't have any source of electricity.

Jin: Also all our gates are not functioning because of the sudden shut down. We are currently fixing the system they said that it's because of the source of electricity.

Jin: We are only using electricity from our solar panel. Maybe someone accidentally move the switches or there's something really need to fix there.

Y/n: Okay don't worry I will go and check it just tell them to tighten all the securities and call more people to roam around.

Jin: Okay, just be safe and careful.

Y/n: Okay bye.

After that I started to walk again and go to the electric system. It's near from here, right?... I think? I don't really remember where that place is but I need to figure it out.

Y/n: Sigh* bull... shit.

(Time skip - After 1 hour and 30 minutes)

I arrived at the place after a long journey,

there's someone else here I'm not alone I can still feel the hot air here and there is burned wood in the middle of the room.

If I'm not mistaken there is a used chair and besides it there is a big bag. I continue to roam around inside the room not until I heard a growling sound.

I immediately turn around and take out my gun, once I turned around I saw a figure. I can't see it well because of the sunlight from the window.

Y/n: Who are you?

I ask the the person hoping that it's not a zombie, the person just keep walking to my way I still can't see him. I back away slowly and surely not to make any noise.

Y/n: I said who are you?

The person stop walking making me stop walking too and the person slowly shows up. He run and quickly snatch the gun from my hand, he pointed to me the gun.

Y/n: Hey! What the hell!

???: Shut up and give me your bag.

Y/n: Hell to the fucking no I'm going to do that.

???: Just give me the bag and leave here now! It's not safe here!

Y/n: I know and so?

???: Do you really want me to do it in a hard way?

Y/n: Okay chill I'm here for an important thing so could you plea-

???: No and get of here.

Y/n: I'm Dr-

He pointed the gun up and pull the trigger making a loud noice. I put my hands up signaling I surrender, but I know I need to do this in a hard way too.

Y/n: There is no fucking way I'm going to give this to you, you freaking bastard!

I quickly kick his hand resulting to make the gun fly up, he look up and I take this chance to punch him in the face and kick his chest. I spin him around to face the wall.

???: Let me go!

Y/n: No let me talk first, I'm Dr. Y/n I'm a scientist and I'm here to fix something. Also I'm here to help you.

???: Okay punk let me go!

Y/n: It's Dr. Y/n... You can call me Y/n.

???: Okay Y/n let me go.

I slowly release my grip from his hand and he slowly turn around. We stand there for a while and then when I was going to talk he cut me off.

???: What are you doing here?

Y/n: Can I ask you the same question?

???: I've been staying here for 7 months, what about you?

Y/n: I'm here to fix something.

???: I know this might be sounds crazy but do you have any food left?

I saw him scratch the back of his head and smile at me. That smile melts my heart, he must be really hungry I quickly take out my food.

Y/n: Oh yeah sure here take this.

???: What about you?

Y/n: No I'm okay you need it for now.

???: Sorry but I'm really hungry that I could eat you.

Y/n: Don't be sorry, I'm the one who should say sorry I hurt you.

???: Thank you and sorry for earlier I nearly hurt you.

Y/n: C'mon just eat I'm just going to wait you here.

???: What? You are going to wait me here?

Y/n: Yes you are coming with me after I do my thing here. So what's your name by the way?

???: Sorry where is my manners... Oops I lost my manners.

Y/n: Yeah I heard that too.

I get the gun from the floor, while he get his stuff and follow me to another room where the source of electricity are there. We slowly enter the room.

Y/n: Here hold this gun and guard me okay?

???: Okay.

I started to find where our electricity is located and turn up the electricity and for freaking sake it's not working I need to fix this.

I open the cage and then I saw the cords are burned I need to replace them. Lucky I saw some unused cord around the corner and I pick it up

I started to replace it, it's pretty hard actually to replace it because it's burned. I look at him, his still looking at the door guarding it well.

But not in a while I get back to reality by the sounds of growling and banging from the door this time he look at me signaling me to go faster.

???: Are you finish?

Y/n: Not yet give me 1 more minute.

???: Faster! The door is cracking!

I just continue to work and I finally replace it and I turn around just to see the zombies are coming on our way and in no time I take out my dagger and stab one of the zombies.

???: Here Y/n let's jump!

???: There on the window! You go first.

I jump from the window and hold tight on the metal I saw, soon he jumped out there and luckily catch him with my hand, and his heavy.

Y/n: Don't let go. Muscle up man!

???: No I got this.

Y/n: No don't let g-

Before I say those words he already get out from my grip. I close my eyes because I don't wanna see a actual person get crash, I slowly open my eyes to see that he can do parkour.

???: C'mon let go now Y/n.

Y/n: No it's too high.

???: Here just let go. What do you want get killed by yourself or be one of them?

All the zombies are gathering on the window forcing them self to reach me. I can't hold it anymore. I need to let go, I better go die in this way than to be one of them.

???: Trust me Y/n, let go... I got you, promise.

With that words I feel my heart softened, his voice is very concerned and without any seconds I let go. I'm surprised because I didn't even close my eyes.

I just look at him and I feel like the time become slow motion, for the first time I feel a little sting in my heart it's pumping so loud that I can just hear is the beat coming from my heart.

???: Are you okay?

I was interrupted by his voice and two pair of arms around waist, its his hands around my waist! Oh gosh why my heart is pumping so fast? Do I have feeling for him?

I'm on top of him this is embarrassing, no way Y/n it can't be like this you don't even know his name. Stop it it's not time for this kind of romantic feelings.

???: You can get off me now.

Y/n: Ah yes I'm okay you? Are you okay?

???: Mmm. Yeah I'm okay. Let run for now, go!

We run from that place I think we are running for good 10 minutes. After the long run we can't hear them anymore, I look at him still panting from the ran.

Y/n: Wait a second I'm just gonna call somebody.

??? Okay.

Y/n: Hello Jin how's going there?

Jin: Good the electricity comes back to normal again and it's better than before. How are you, what happened there?

Y/n: I'm okay I got a long journey, talk to you later once I get back there.

Jin: Okay.

???: Who's that?

Y/n: My assistant I just inform him that I'm going back there.

???: You didn't tell him that I'm coming with you did you?

Y/n: Yes I didn't tell him yet because he's just going to ask more questions if I tell him that. Don't worry I'm not going to leave you here, we better walk away here.

(Time skip - After 2 hours)

Y/n: Here have some water.

???: Thanks.

Y/n: You still not answering my question.

???: What is it?

Y/n: What's your name?

Before he finish his sentence we heard a car horn and it's coming to us. We both look at each other and both hide behind a wall but before that someone talk.

Man: Don't hide we are here to help you.

Y/n: Who are you?

Man: We are finding the last safe place you?

Y/n: We are going there too, I'm Dr. Y/n I'm from there and this is my friend Jungkook.

Man: Nice we can give you a ride it's getting dark it's not safe outside.

Y/n: Thank you but I thin-

Man: No girl, thank you.

With that the man lift me up and put me inside the car, next the man knock jungkook out making him unconscious. The man make Jungkook sit beside me.

Y/n: What the hell do you want?

Man: We want to get there what do you think?

Y/n: You can just say that to me you little gits, I will let you go with me.

Man: What if you don't.

Y/n: I will, trust me even you don't look like trust worthy people. I want you to come with me to the last safe place.

Man: Sorry for my rudeness by the way my name is Namjoon, Kim Namjoon.

Namjoon: The one who's driving is Yoongi, Min Yoongi.

Namjoon: And this is Jung Hoseok.

Hoseok: Hello there sorry it was my idea to knock you out.

Y/n: It's okay, even if I'm in your situation probably I will do worse than that.

We are talking and getting to know each other more when suddenly Jungkook growls. At first I just ignore it because he did that when were at the building.

But later on he continue to growl, the others heard that too but ignore it again. I take off his jacket to find there is bite, he got bitten by a zombie!

Y/n: Guys do you have any ropes?

Namjoon: Yes, why?

Y/n: Jungkook got bitten by a zombie.

Yoongi: Why the hell you didn't tell us before.

Y/n: I don't know too, you heard that his growling right? So I took off his jacket and I saw that there is a bit-
