I woke up that day with a puzzled look on my face, sitting for breakfast having the usual pancakes with orange juice, I tried to ask my mum the question that kept me up all night, who was that man? No words came out of my mouth before she asked “what’s wrong hunny you haven’t even had a bite and I know pancakes are your favorite ”nothing mum I just had a long night and I just want this day to be over, I said faking a smile“okay if you say so but don’t forget I have a friend coming over later today so be of good behavior, don’t bring does teenage drama into this house when you come back” mum really I replied, friend friend friend I kept repeating does words in my head as I took another bite.

I didn’t dress up much I wore just a crop top and joggers, cause who the hell wants to dress up for a guy, I said with a frown on my face.
