~
"Grisha, hold on," I heard my Mom say, "don't you think he's too young for you to be treating him like this?"
"No, I don't think so. He needs to learn... Learn how to be stronger than his useless brother." He spat and glared at Zeke, who was watching from up the stairs.
"Yes, but," Mom hesitated a bit before continuing, "isn't there another way for him to become stronger?"
"..." My Dad didn't respond. He only looked at my Mother with disgust. "Shut up, woman."
"I-I didn't say anything b-bad..!"
"I said," my Dad walked to my Mom, greeting his teeth, "shut up."
I stood up immediately, trying to protect my Mother. "D-Dad, wait!" I held my hands up but he grabbed my wrist and threw me to the wall, knocking the air out of my lungs. I fell on my side and coughed up a bit of blood, mixed with my saliva. I looked up weakly and saw my Dad about to hit my Mother.
"DA-"
~Present~
I shot my eyes open and sat up, screaming until my throat got soar. I started panting and clenching on my bedsheets, trying to calm myself. I heard soft footsteps and heard the keys jingling and entering the doorknob.
"Eren? Are you okay?" It was Levi. He left the keys in the doorknob and walked over to my bed, gently sitting on the edge and letting out a soft sigh. "I heard you scream from my room. Was it a nightmare?"
I nodded slightly and rubbed my eyes. "Sorry, Rivaille. I didn't mean for you to wake up." I apologized and looked over at him.
"It's fine. And you need more sleep. The bags under your eyes are very noticeable. They're getting a little darker every night." He pinched my cheek and smiled.
"I know," I leaned against his hand and sighed, "sorry for worrying you. I'm glad it wasn't Zeke who came here." I chuckled and he let out a small laugh.
"Yeah. Even though I'm not part of the family, he still treats me like I'm his little brother."
"Well, yeah. We met when we were in Kindergarten. He knows you. After your Mother died and Kenny left you, he was really heartbroken when he found out you had nowhere to live. So he let you stay with us. He even likes calling you 'brother'." I patted him on the shoulder and he laughed again.
"Wish I had a family like yours... But not with your Dad." He added quickly at the end and looked up at me. "Go to sleep. Our first day of school starts in a few hours. It's two in the morning so you'll have plenty of rest." He yawned the last part and stood up. "I'm getting sleepy myself."
"Alright, alright. You go on ahead. I don't want you to lose sleep because of me." I stood up and rubbed my right eye.
"Shut up."
The door closed behind me and he took out the keys, walking back to his room.

HEYOO! This is my second story! I'm not good at writing it this way so YEA! I know this chapter was short but EHH I tried ;-;.
Eren's POV
I woke up two hours later and decided not to go back to sleep. I threw on random clothes, put my shoes on, and threw my hoodie over my head. I quietly stepped out of my room and went downstairs.
"Hmm... What should I..." I heard a door open upstairs and I sighed, knowing I'd get caught again by Zeke.
"Really, Eren?" Levi shook his head. He was already annoyed with me enough.
"Haha... Sorry, Rivaille. I just didn't want to go back to sleep." I gave him a small smile and shrugged.
He sighed and shook his head, walking over to me and resting his head on my chest. "You're troublesome."
"In a good way." I chuckled and embraced him into a hug, patting him on the back. I took a small sniff of his hair. Strawberry sent? "Smells like strawberries."
Levi looked up at me and pouted. "Shut up." He pulled my hoodie down and messed up my hair. "You need to cut your hair. It's becoming a mess. Look," he grabbed a strand of my hair, "your hair is growing to your shoulders!"
"You're so overdramatic." I rolled my eyes at him and let him go. "I can just put it in a bun. No big deal." I shrugged and turned to the fridge. "Is there a small snack I could eat? I don't feel like cooking right now."
He closed the fridge and shook his head. "You never feel like doing anything. The past is bringing you down. You need to let it go. And you need to eat more. You rarely eat anything." He put his hands on his hips and looked at me straight in the eye.
"Uwaahh! You're like a Mom!" I whined and stood up.
"Shut up. We have about an hour left before we leave for school."
"Did we really have to enroll when we have to go into the start of the year? Couldn't we have just enrolled in the half year?"
"No. We would have missed a half year of school." He huffed and opened the fridge.

"What is it called? U.A?" I asked. Levi and I were waiting outside of the principals' office for approval to go to class. It started ten minutes ago and we have to wait? Not cool. I sighed and looked up.
"Yeah. Remember: the principals' name is Mr. Nedzu."
"I know his name." I lied and looked at Levi. He looked at me like I was stupid and I let out a puff of laughter. "Whatever, Rivaille."
The small principal came back and smiled up at us. "Okay! You two can head to Class 1-A!"
"Thank you, Mr. Nedzu." Levi bowed down and the principal was surprised. I didn't think Levi would do this.
He so overdramatic sometimes.
We walked out of his office and walked upstairs towards Class-1A.
"Ugh. I'm so tired." I yawned and rubbed my eyes.
"Shut up. And stop rubbing your eyes. It's bad for you." He slapped my hands away and I glared at him.
"See?? You're acting like you're my Mom!"I whined.
"Whatever. We're here, anyways."
We were now in front of Class 1-A, our new class. I looked at Levi and can tell he was a bit nervous. I reached for his hand and gave it a small squeeze. He looked at me and gave me a small smile, fading away quickly as he looked back at the door. He sighed and knocked on the door. I let go of his hand and stuffed them in my hoodie pocket.
"Good Morning." The teacher welcomed us and stepped aside for us to come in. He has long, black hair and what looked like bandages around his neck? He looks like he hasn't slept in forever.
"You may call me Mr. Aizawa," he nodded at us and turned to the class, "class, these are your new classmates: Eren Jaeger and Levi Ackermann. Make them feel at home."
Everyone had their eyes on Levi and I. I was really regretting this.
"Mr. Aizawa," a frog, looking girl said, "could you tell us what their quirks are? Ribbit."
The class talked at once, agreeing with the girl.
"Okay, okay, calm down." Mr. Aizawa said and went over to get two pieces of paper from his desk. "Their information:
Name: Levi Ackermann.
Age: 15.
Gender: Male.
Quirks: Demolish. Anything he touches will burst and or explode, but only if he wants it to.
Ghoul: A type of villain-like human, increasing his speed movements and jumping movements. Eyes will turn red with black surrounding them. Great with knives.
Name: Eren Jaeger.
Age: 15.
Gender: Male.
Quirks: Titan. He can turn into a big human. Of course, with no clothes. AND no *****.
Healing: He can heal anything he touches. He can also let out steam from his body, allowing it to heal himself.
Making: He can create boulders and weapons from the ground.
Ghoul: He can pretty much turn into a villain-type of human, increasing his speed movements and jumping movements like Levi. And his eyes will turn red, blackness surrounding it. Also great with knives."
"More than one quirk?!" The class yelled in illusion.
"So he has four and he has two?!" Said a guy with spiky, red hair.
"Yes, Eren has four quirks and Levi has two." Mr. Aizawa sighed.
"How is that possible?"
Levi looked at me and I looked back at him, shrugging. The class is really loud and I know Levi doesn't like it loud. I sighed and that caught Mr. Aizawa's attention.
"Eren, go sit behind Momo," he pointed at the back to a girl, with black hair, who was raising her hand, "and Levi, go sit behind Shoto," he then pointed at a guy, with half white and half red hair and a scar, who was raising his hand.
Levi and I walked over to the two and sat down behind them. I set my backpack down and sat down. Mr. Aizawa was about to start the lesson until he realized something and called our names. "Eren, Levi. Remind me to send you your uniforms for class and uniforms for training. We'll talk about the hero costumes tomorrow."
Levi and I responded with a quick, 'Yes Sir', and he started teaching.

Levi and I stayed in the classroom to have lunch because why not?? He took out our lunches from his backpack and gave me my lunch.
"I swear... If Zeke didn't put any sweets in mine..." I opened my bag and immediately groaned and slammed my head on the desk.
"I feel bad for you." Levi snickered and looked inside his lunch. "Well, it looks like I have your sweets."
"Ugh! Now I have to eat my lunch before I eat my sweets?! Not cool." I glared at Levi and he only smiled.
The classroom door opened and Mr. Aizawa came in.
"Boys? I thought you two were at lunch."
"Oh," I managed to say, "we just thought that eating here would be fine. But if you don't want us here, we can leave." I was about to put my lunch up until he stopped me.
"No. I just thought you boys were at lunch. You can stay here. I just needed to get some papers." He went over to his desk and grabbed a stack of papers. "Just don't make a mess."
Suddenly, a small, green-haired boy with freckles walked in the classroom.
"Midoriya? What is it?"
"M-Mr. Aizawa," he stuttered and cleared his throat, "I-I just didn't feel hungry..."
"Really? Lunch started two minutes ago." Mr. Aizawa looked at the kid in a suspicious manner. "Well, stay here with Ackermann and Jaeger." As soon as he finished, he left the room.
The kid, Midoriya, looked over at us and sent us an awkward smile. "H-hi."
"Hey. Want to sit with us?" Levi called over at him and he seemed to have brighten up.
"O-okay!" He hurriedly walked to us and pulled up a chair, sitting in between Levi and I.
"So are you sure you don't feel hungry?" I asked as I rose an eyebrow at him.
"I didn't," he wiped the small tears from his eyes and let out a shaky sigh, "I just made up that excuse... K-Kacchan thought it would be f-funny to embarrass me i-in front of the whole s-school... And everyone s-started laughing at me... E-even my friends..." He started letting tears run down his cheeks.
I looked at Levi and he seemed guilty. I looked back at Midoriya and cleared my throat to get his attention.
"What's your name?"
"I-Izuku Midoriya... B-but you can call m-me Deku..."
"Well, Deku-Kun. I think it isn't right for you to be hanging out with them. You should wait and find the right people. People who actually care about you. Who adore you."
"L-like you two?" He looked up from the ground, the tears making his eyes glisten.
"We can be your true friends." Levi said and gave him a soft smile, making Deku smile as well.
"Thanks." He wiped his tears and laughed a little. "Sorry for crying..!"
"No need to apologize." I ruffled his hair in a playful manner.

Got done with Ch. 2!! I'm weird, I know ;w**;.
Eren's POV
"Grisha," my Mom cried out, "please stop! You're hurting him!"
"Shut up!" My Dad yelled at my Mom, eyes burning deep into her soul. "This is his punishment! And you're going to watch!" My Dad roughly pounded back into me.
"Ahh!! D-Dad! Stop! Hah!!" Screaming out in pain, I tried struggling out of the ropes my Dad held me down with, but he must have noticed because he slapped me across the face.
"G-Grisha!! Stop!! H-he's only ten!" My Mom started bawling. I didn't want her to cry. I wanted her to be happy.
"M-Mom! I-It's okay! D-don't worry about m-me!" I gave her a weak smile so she wouldn't cry anymore. But I guess that made her bawl even harder.
~Present~
I guess I didn't scream this time. I found myself staring at the ceiling. I sat up and started rubbing my eyes. I sighed and stared down at my hands. It should have been me who died.
I took the covers off and stood up, stretching until I was satisfied with a CRACK from my bones.
"Ugh..." I sighed heavily and just stripped off my clothes and got in the shower.
After I finished with the shower, I put on black jeans, an olive shirt, white shoes, and a black hoodie. Of course, I put the hoodie over my head.
I grabbed my phone and checked the time, reading 3:20 a.m. I sighed and rubbed my eyes. I looked over at the window and decided to just open it and jump.
I walked over to the window and quietly opened it, looking at the door to make sure no one entered. After it was fully opened, I felt that cold breeze and I sighed, relieved that I get to go out at this time again. I looked around the streets and fount that it was okay to jump.
Once I safely made it down, I wandered the streets before going into an alleyway.
Smells like cigarettes and alcohol. Not that I know. Maybe I'll take a sip?
Right in the middle of my thoughts, I bumped into something or someone. They fell down, not me. I only stumbled backwards.
"What the ****, man? Can't you watch where you're going?" I groaned and started rubbing my arm. I do this because of my anxiety. I sighed and knelt down a bit, trying to get a view of the person better.
"Hey. You need a hand or what?"
"Funny you should say that." Answered the stranger. He shuffled and stood up, stepping a little closer to the light for me to get a view.
He had burnt scars on his face? Metal stitches holding it into place. Icy blue eyes staring down at me. "You're smaller than I thought."
"Tch," I rolled my eyes, "who are you? Why are you here at this time?"
"I should ask the same to you."
"..." Okay, I don't know who he think he is, but I think he's trying to start beef with me.
After my silent response, he started laughing. What the ****?
"I'm Dabi. You?"
"What makes you think I'd say my name to a stranger?"
He rose an eyebrow and got serious. "Look, kid. I'm just tryna be nice. But it seems like you're not that type."
"Whatever. I smell alcohol. Maybe I can take a drink?" I asked as I looked behind me, hoping no one followed me.
"Huh? How old are you?"
"I'm fifteen, dude. Does it really matter?" I groaned. This was getting annoying.
"Kid, that's not right. You can't drink at that age." He glared at me as he said that.
"You're not my Dad. Plus, I've been drinking since the age of thirteen. Why do you care?" I crossed my arms at him.
He didn't say anything. He just looked at me like he didn't believe me. I can't tell if he's smiling or not because of the scars.
"Fine," he turned around and glanced behind me, "if you want a sip, follow me."
________________________________
I was swinging my legs in front of me as I took a sip of my beer. I kept getting stared at from the people in the bar. I didn't like this attention. It didn't feel right.
"How old is the kid?" Said the 'leader' of the gang. He has wrinkles all over his face and chapped lips, a plastic hand covering most of his face, making his two eyes and bright, baby blue hair visible.
"He said he's fifteen," answered Dabi after finishing his beer.
"What?"
"Exactly." Snorted Dabi and glanced at me. "Have any family members?"
"An older brother and a friend. Both living with me."
"Living with you? So you bought the house?"
"Yeah. My father was a doctor when I was born. So when he died, I inherited his money. He was a normal man when my older brother was born." I took one last jug and threw the bottle in the trash, sighing and rubbing my eyes.
"What's up with you?" Asked Dabi. He sat on the stool beside mine and ordered two more beers.
"Nothing... Just trying to deal with my fucking emotions and thoughts," I muttered, grabbing the bottle and taking a sip.
"Emotions and thoughts," answered blue hair, he sat on the stool on my opposite side, "what kind of emotions and thoughts?"
"What's his name?" I asked Dabi and he replied with 'Shigaraki'.
"Shigaraki," putting my beer on the table and facing him, "I have depression. You know, the sad shit? Yeah, I have that. It makes me think of suicide. Cutting myself every single fucking night. Crying myself to sleep, thinking that it should have been me who died, ya know? I should have just killed myself after that fire fucking Endeavor didn't stop."
The bar fell silent after I expressed myself. I knew that was going to happen. This crazy looking girl hugged me from behind and giggled.
"Why didn't you?? You would have saved yourself a lot of pain!"
"Toga. Shut the **** up. You're not helping," Dabi retorted and pushed her off of me, shaking his head.
"Hey..."
"Kurogiri."
"Kurogiri," I continued, "what time is it?"
"It is seven thirty-five."
"Shit," I stood up and pulled the hoodie over my head, "gotta go. I left my number on the napkin. Text me if you want. I don't care."

"Where have you been, Eren?"
It was lunch and Levi and I were in the classroom again, but with Deku. He was trying to make me crack and tell him where I was.
"Don't worry about it, Rivaille. I was just taking a walk."
"At four in the morning?"
I looked away from the ceiling and towards Deku. "Izuku..."
He flinched from the way I said his name and gulped.
"When did you see me?"
"I-I couldn't sleep so I thought I could just take a jog outside... A-and I saw you walking... I didn't recognize y-you until you looked m-my way..." He stuttered and looked down.
I sighed. I couldn't stay mad at him. How could I?
"It's fine. I'm not mad. Sorry if I made you feel that way." I gave him a small smile, trying to make him not think I was mad at him.
"S-sorry..." He weakly smiled back at me but he started tearing up.
"Deku-Kun? Are you okay?" Levi looked worried, as always, and was about to stand up but Deku shook his head.
"N-no, I'm fine! I-I'm just... Happy!" He looked up, tears streaming down his face, a smile appearing.
"Happy..?"
"N-no one cared for me th-this much, expect m-my Mom..!" He wiped his tears and let out a broken laugh.
"Deku-Kun..." I closed my eyes and stood up, making him look up at me.
"Come here."
He quickly stood up, determined to what I was about to do.
I pulled him into a hug and dug my face into his hair, enjoying his sent. He hugged me back and clenched tightly onto my uniform, clearly sobbing by now.
"It's okay, Deku-Kun. We're here."
The door slammed open and an angry boy came stomping his way towards us.
"Hey! Shitty Deku!" He yelled and snatched him away from me.
"K-Kacchan!!" He looked terrified just by looking at that guy.
"Why'd you ditch us today?! Huh?! Why?!" He yelled, small explosions popping out of his opposite palm.
"I-I..!"
"Hey," I grabbed Deku's wrist and pulled him towards Levi and I, "you don't have the right to yell at Izuku like that."
"Huh?! You don't tell me what to do!"
"Deku-Kun! Why weren't you at lunch with us?" A girl with brown hair asked.
"I wanted to have lunch with my real friends!" He raised his voice and greeted his teeth. "You guys only want me to humiliate me!"
"Midoriya," a guy with red and white hair came behind the girl, "we didn't mean to laugh at you."
"No! I don't care! You guys are mean! Especially you, Katsuki!"
Katsuki? That's his name?
He stayed quiet after Deku said his name. Something must have happened between them...
"You guys should leave. Izuku doesn't want nothing to do with you." Levi glared at the three of them.
"You can't just claim him!"
"Uraraka-San, don't scream." The red and white haired guy said and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"B-but, Todoroki-Kun!" She looked at him and pointed at us.
"Come on, Izuku," Levi looked at Deku, "let's go to the restroom and clean you up."
They both left the room I was stuck with three idiots.
"My name is Shouto Todoroki," said the guy with red and white hair, "this is Ochaco Uraraka, and that's Katsuki Bakugo."
"I didn't ask for your names," I rolled my eyes but introduced myself, "my name is Eren Jaeger. And the guy that left with Izuku is Levi Ackermann."
"Nice to meet you, Eren." Shouto nodded and Uraraka only crossed her arms and squinted at me. Katsuki only stared at me.
"So," I cleared my throat, "why did Izuku come back yesterday from the lunch room?"
"It's Bakugo's fault!" Exclaimed Uraraka.
"Shut up, Round Face!!"
Levi and Deku came back and I let out a sigh of relief. It's a good thing Deku isn't crying. I mean, yeah, he looks kinda cute when he's tearing up, but I'm glad he isn't sad.
"Deku-Kun! Are you okay??" Uraraka immediately turned to Deku and brightened up.
Shouto expected Deku to respond to her but he past the three of them and looked up at me, leaving the trio in shock.
He gave me an awkward smile and I only shook my head.
"It's fine."
