“Run! Everybody, run! Don't look back!” I said. As we run through the halls of this prison, we lived in for years.

I was upfront leading everyone out, but I halted when I heard a thud from behind. I turned around and saw two of our group was far behind. One is on the ground while the other is helping her up.

I saw the female dragon (drakaina) just right behind them, I hurriedly came to their rescue and carried the fallen girl (Elaine) into my arms.

Me and Demitra was running for our lives as Campe ran after us. I was struggling to keep my pace since I'm carrying Elaine, and her weight is taking a toll on me slowly.

We were almost at the door when I felt my legs started to wobble, but I thought of something. I grabbed Demi's sleeved and with my powers I blasted them out of this mansion.

I know that by doing so, it only weakend me more, so with the little strength I still got I shut the doors and faced the monster that is now meters away from me.

With my powers, I conjured a weapon. The female dragon and I stared at each other, we stared at each other for a long time before she charge at me first.

I strategically dodge her and attacked her from behind. But my action was in vain because her scorpion tail that whisked in my direction making me back up.

Her tail was my main problem, I can't attack her just like that or I'll be stung by her tail. But besides her scorpion tail, she also has snakes coiled around her ankles and the heads of various beasts in her waist.

In short, she is almost impossible to attack. Key word: almost.

Despite her monster like body, she isn't all monster. She had the head and upper body of a beautiful woman, which means her weak spot is her upper body.

I had another state down with her before I attacked her. I jumped as high as I could and thankfully enough I successfully pierced her right at the chest.

But my victory was short lived, because I felt myself numb and then I felt my heart beats began to fasten and then stops for a moment.

I then realized that I was stabbed by her tail, then I felt something has bitten me, I looked down and saw the heads of numerous monsters has bitten me.

Her tail no longer impaled me now, I thought that the pain will now lessen but I was wrong. The pain only got worst and the worst part is that she still looked unfazed of the fact that I pierced her.

So with the remaining strength that I still have, I concentrated my power where her chest it and said this words:

Be gone, fade away and rot in Tartarus forever! I banish you here in the world of the living, by the name of my mother, The Primordial Goddess of the Night, Nyx!

I finished the words and she dispelled thought the air with her scream of agony is the only thing I heard before I plopped down to the ground.

My body feels like it was pierced by a million times by a bows on fire, and then I felt cold, winter freezing cold.

Is this the effect of being stung by Campe's scorpion tail? Am I gonna die hear? Is this my end?

Images of my sisters came to my mind and I stiffened.

No. This isn't it! I'm not dying here, the girls still needs me. How will they survive with me? Especially, Harmony, Elaine, Solene, Bliss and Ria, they will not survive without me. They will keep on arguing with each other, and Lia, Demi, Elva, Czarina, Genesis and Alexis, the twins, they need someone to keep them grounded.

I can't, I can't just die here. I need to stand up, I need to get up and go to them.

“Come on! Stand up! Get up! For the girls, you need to get now!” I told myself. I rolled over, and struggled to get up at first but with the girls in my mind, I weakly stood up.

I stumbled down as I tried walked out of this hell of a place.

“The girls needs me.... I need to get to them, protect them, keep them safe....” I keep repeating those words in my head but my vision started to get blurry and my mind came to blank.

When I felt that I was going to faint, I saw a hearth and went towards it. I kneeled down in front of it and silently prayed.

“O Great Lady Hestia, Goddess of the hearth, home, architecture, domesticity, family, and the state, please hear my prayer to you.... Please help me, help me... I need your aid, O Great Lady... Please....” After that, I lost consciousness. But I didn't feel any cold but only felt the warmth of what you think a mother's embraced would be.

I don't know how long I was out but when I slightly gain consciousness, I saw a beautiful lady, her hair was bright blonde and a sun kissed skin, I couldn't see her face clearly but I know she was looking down on me lovingly but worry was in her eyes as I gaze at her one last time before I faint once again.

Adelaide's POV

I looked up to the sky and wondered. Are they watching me still? Maybe. Is my Lady watching me? I hope so. I hope I could see her again, to feel her warm embrace once more, even if just for a minute.

“You know, if you keep talking to yourself, I will tell her ladyship that you are going insane by staying here in the mortal realm.” Galatea, my companion berates yet again to me. Galatea is a gift from my Lady, she told me that Galatea is the last of her kind and being the only one of her specie she wanted me to bond with her.

Bonding with Galatea was a hassle especially when I could practically hear her thoughts and emotions. But despite the fact that we hear and feel each other and the fact that I hate that she hears my thoughts and feels what I feel, that doesn't change the fact that she's a loyal and reliable companion and I will always treasure what we have.

*Flashback*

“The eclipse has begun!” Lady Hestia announced. She looked over at me and smiled, I didn't get what that smiled meant but I know it something amazing.

“Come, we must hurry, she has been waiting for so long now. She's grown impatient.” she? Who in Olympus is she? I was about to ask this to my Lady when we stopped all of a sudden in front of a big tree.

“My Lady, why are we here? And who are we waiting for?” I asked. She smiled and looked down on me; “My child, be patient, she will reveal herself any minute now.” And with that she touched the tree and whispered ancient Greek words to it.

After that the tree glowed and then dulled afterwards. I got confused and when I was about to ask about what just happened, Lady Hestia smiled and backed away a little, I was going to do the same but she shakes her head and told me to stay where I stood.

I did as I was told and stayed in my spot.

“Touch the tree, my dear, feel it's power surge into your body.” She says and I did what she said. I touched the tree and tried feel it, if that even made any sense.

I stood there like an idiot as I try to feel whatever I was suppose to feel. And when I was about to take my hand off the tree it shined bright like the sun and I felt a wave of power came through me.

I looked back at Lady Hestia in confusion but all she gave for an answer is a smile.

I got more confused but when she gave me a reassuring nod to me, I felt calm and secure, secured that I'll be fine whatever that is about to come at me.

“.....” I waited for something to happen but there was nothing. Not even a sound.

“Open your ears, Dear Chandra. Hear it's call for you.” I closed my eyes and let my ears see for me.

“Master, master, master....” I heard a mystic voice repeat the words "master."

“I've been waiting for you, master. For years I have been trapped in this tree, waiting for your birth.” I vaguely see an image of a little girl floating in front of me. “Now, you're finally here! Master, I pledge my life to you, to obey every order you say to me.” A now clear vision of a little girl was now in front of me. A big smile was plastered on her face.

“I, Galatea, Pledge thy life for thy Lady, I swore to protect and keep you thee master, always and forever, for as long as I live.” she kneeled down before me.

I don't know how she did it but out of nowhere, she had a dagger in her hand. She then cut her right palm and as blood drip endlessly in her hand, she gave me the dagger.

I didn't know how to react. But I took the dagger from her and ripped a piece of my clothing.

“I accept, but please don't this again.” She bows her head abruptly and smiled as I held her up.

*End Flashback*

My meeting with Galatea is one of the moments I'll always treasure the most, even if she annoys the Hades of me.

(A/N: Hades is the ruler of the underworld, which makes him not an Olympian but a resident of the underworld, which can also be called Hades. Hades name can also be equal to saying hell.)

“Hey, we're here.” I heard her say. I looked down at the cliff side where we are standing. I saw a big castle, complete with guards that roam every corner of it.

“Chandra, what should we do now? The place is covered with guards, there's no way we could get pass them.” Galatea worriedly pointed out. I smiled and looked at her over my shoulder.

“Galatea, do you really have very little faith in me?” I grinned playfully as I said so. She shook her head and a look of trust and determination flashed on her face.

“Well then, let's get this party started!” I jumped off the cliff as I shouted those words from the top of my lungs, adrenaline rushing in me.

“Chandra! Lady Hestia is going to kill me! Come back here, we haven't even planned anything yet!” I heard Galatea shouted from a distance.

Sorry, my dear but I'm not going to stall any longer, Celesta is in there and I need to get to her as fast as I could. I need to save her from these vile people before it's too late

Once I was inside, I disguise myself as one of the servants in the castle. I wore a maids uniform and acted as if I worked there.

I was told to serve the master of the castle and his guest some wine and told me where I could find them.

They were in the master's fun room. I asked what the purpose of the fun room is to one of the maids that was accompanying me.

Their faces paled as they explained what it's purpose of. My blood boils as I found out that the room was used as a room for prostitution and other illegal uses.

They also told me that they experienced being in that room for the wrong reasons. I didn't say anything after they finished saying that to me.

I really need to get Celesta out of here, pronto! I said to myself.

We arrived at the fun room and let's just say that, what we were hearing is not child friendly. And in the corner of my eye, I saw the two maids with me were already trembling in fear.

I turned to them and told them that they could leave the wine to me and told them to go back to their actual work.

They hesitated but I insisted that they leave. Fortunately, they did.

I knocked on the door and once I heard the word “come in” I opened the door and saw the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in life.

“What are you standing there for?! Come in already!” I flinched when the man who assume is the master of the castle is, yelled at me.

“I'm sorry, my lord.” I said with a bow.

I poured them each a goblet of wine. They seem to have noticed me as I poured them wine and I swear, I felt one even touched my buttocks.

I stood up and bow yet again as a sign of respect and was about to leave but saw one of the guest blocking the doorway.

“Sir, if you please, I would like to leave now.” I asked the man politely. But all he did was chuckle maliciously at me before locking the door behind him.

My heart was pounding as I called Galatea for help through telepathy. I was now thinking of ways on how to escape here after I've confirmed that Celesta is really here.

“Little girl, don't you want to have some fun with us?” The man said. I shake my no but he also was shaking his head no but in a bad way.

“Oh, little girl, let's have some fun before you leave. We promise you'll have fun with us.” I tried to run away from him but was caught by another one of the guest.

“Haha! I got you!” He licked his lips and leaned in for a kiss. I pushed him away and ran away yet again from him but this time I was caught again but now it was the master who has caught me.

“Now, now, pretty lady, it's not nice to run away like that....” He forced a kiss from me but I bit him so he stopped doing it.

His lips was now bloody and I felt satisfied for what I did. He slapped me and I fell on the floor. He yanked me by the hair, from my lips I could taste my own blood, I have a cut on my lips and he looked happy with it.

“My friends, this one doesn't know how to obey, I think we should call our favorite toy here so she should know how to act properly.” His friends laugh in approval and the man from earlier left the room.

The master yanked my hair harder and I had to grit my teeth together as to not scream. He and I looked eyes and I saw an evil glint in his eyes.

“I'll make sure you will not be able to stand up after I'm done with you....” Was the words that he said and I thought that it was his pathetic way of trying to scare me, but I wasn't scared of him at all.

Then moments later, I heard the door opened and when I glanced to see the person who came inside, I felt my blood run cold and my spirit was taken.

I saw Celesta, my sweet lovely Celesta; looking all disheveled and bruised up. What have they done to her?!

She has cuts, bruises and marks all over her body. Her clothes were covered in her own blood and is torned and has holes in them. Her face and body was covered with soot, dried up blood and bruises and scars, and her hair that was once well kept was now all tangled up telling me that she hasn't brushed it once. She was just looking like a ghost of who she was before.

Before, when we were all still together, she looked lively, happy and was full of love for the world and everybody around her. But now she looked like an old used doll.

“Now, Cece meet your new friend!” The man spoke and led Celesta in front of me.

“My lovely Cece, we want you to show her how to play nicely, okay?” The man said to her and she nods her head.

The man then looked down on me with a grin on his face. He sat down on the couch and threw his head back.

Celesta then walked towards him and kneeled down in front of him. She then started to unbuckle his belt and pulled his pants down.

I tried to look away from them but the master forcibly made me look. I shook angrily as I watched Celesta do something so revolting I couldn't help but feel sick.

“Look at her, she is so obedient, you should really learn from her, pretty girl.” The master told to me.

“S*ck it, Cece. Be a good girl and make me feel good.” When that guy told Celesta to do that, Celesta obeyed and pleasured the man even more so than before.

That struck a nerve on me. I couldn't think straight anymore and explode; I grabbed the master's arm and swung him down and that knocked him out.

The other two guys that was in the room charge in for me but blasted them away, now that only left the guy from earlier.

Looked at him and saw the fear in his face, I ignored his hanging testicle and stared at his face, I gave him a cold glared and without even doing anything, he passed out.

After I've dealt with these disgusting people, I directed my attention back to someone I was looking for so long.

“Celesta, how have you been?” I heard her sobbed and sniffled. She smiles as she looks up to me.

“Adelaide!”

Celesta's POV

“My love, do you trust mommy?” My mother asked me. I nod, confused why she asked me that.

“When I say run, you run, okay?” She told me. I got more confused.

“Mom, why do I need to run? Are the bad guys back again?” I asked my mother. She coughed out red liquid, she seems to be hurt but my mother just smiled it off. “Celesta, I need you run, okay? Don't ever look back, keep running, hmm?” She smiles and we heard a loud scary howl from afar.

She looked distress and turned to look back to me again. She smiles yet again making me feel calm and safe. She took of her necklace from her neck and her ring from her ring finger.

She puts the ring in the necklace, now the ring and the pendant are now hanging close together.

“Celesta, my love, always wear this and by doing that, I'll always be with you, no matter what." She caress my cheek and kisses me on the forehead.

Another howl was heard, but now it sounded so close. I looked at my mother scared, not knowing what to do.

But she hold me tight and planted another kiss on my head.

“Run, Celesta, run! Don't look back!” She says to me.

“But what about you? Mom, I don't want to leave without you.” I told her, my voice shaky in fear.

“Celesta, my love, don't worry about me. I'll follow you once I've led them away. Now, go!” She told me and I hesitantly ran.

I ran as fast as I could, I did all she told me to do. I ran and didn't looked back. I stopped once I felt I was safe and far away now, but I feared that I was too far for my mother to know where I am but I didn't move from my spot.

“My goodness, what do we have here?” I heard a man said. Then I felt someone grabs me aggressively.

I shrieked in shock and tried to break free but the one that was holding me was too strong for a child like me.

“Such a pretty one, you'll cost a lot of money for sure.” I heard another man's voice said.

I didn't know what happened next because I fainted after that. But all I know was that my life took a very bad turn.

I lived in a big mansion before, with my sisters, I missed them since I got separated from them while looking for food in the woods. But at least I found my mother after a long while in the woods alone but I only spent a little time with her, because again, I got separated from her because of those bad guys that always chased me and my sisters ever since we've escaped from the mansion.

And now, I'm here. In this cage, serving the Lord as a s*x slave. It could be worse, but this is worse enough for me.

My life since then became nothing but suffering for me, but I learned to numb myself and just do as I was told. They seemed to like my obedience because I always get the best food and I never received any beatings from the guards that roams the castle.

But then I heard a new comer arrive and she wasn't doing anything as she was told. So, I was called to show her how it's done.

I didn't dare to look up and just looked down on the floor. The master called me and told me to show the girl how "to play nicely."

I walked towards the master's friend and kneeled in front of him. I unbuckled his belt and pulled down his pants and under garments and strated to s*ck.

“S*ck it, Cece. Be a good girl and make me feel good.” The master's friend said and I s*cked faster and harder.

But as I was doing my job, I heard something crash and when I turned around the master was swung on the table and into the floor.

He was now unconscious. Then the two other friends of the master begun to attack the new girl (I still couldn't see her face very clearly), The two men was also knocked down by her effortlessly.

And now, the last one was the one that I was s*cking. He was shaking in fear and I swear I saw him pee before he came face to face with the new girl.

She also knocked him down, by just her not doing anything.

She then looked my way and I just now realized who this person is. She was the one that always held me when I got scared, she was the one that always made me stopped crying, the one that sung me countless lullabies to help me fall  back asleep.

She was the one that always protected me.

“Celesta, how have you been?” I sobbed and sniffled but I smiled afterwards.

“Adelaide!” I hollered out her name.

Adelaide's POV

“Adelaide!”

She run towards me and hugged me very tightly, I hugged her back with the same way.

“Waahhh!!! Chandra, I'm here now! What happened? Did somebody hurt you? Did you get hurt? Oh my gods! Lady Hestia will be upset and punish me for letting you get hurt!” Galatea was now in her hysterical side.

“Galatea... Galatea, Galatea!” The third time I called her name was the time she snapped out of her hysteric self.

“By the grace of the Gods! You're alright...” Relief washed over her face and she smiled gratefully.

Her attention was now focused on the girl that is beside and the look on her face was reasonable. Her eyes held worry and sympathy.

“Galatea, don't sympathize her.” I told my spirit friend. And Celesta placed her hand at my shoulder and smiles gratefully.

“Well now, she must be cold with that clothing. We must go now and it's getting dark, the hellhounds and other monsters might get a sniff of your scents and that is not a good thing.” Galatea is right, we mustn't stay here long and with two of here, our scents are stronger, monsters will get one whiff of us and we're good as dead.

“Galatea is right, we must leave now.”

We left the place in a haste and went to a near city. We found an inn that we could stay in and checked in there.

Celesta has no clothes so I gave her some of mine, though it's a little too big for her but she says that's okay.

We were now laying down, getting ready to fall asleep.

“Hey, Adelaide?” I heard Celesta say quietly.

“Hmm? What is it?”

“Have you been looking for me for a long time now?” She asked. I smiled and fixing the loose strand out of her face.

“I have and it's not only you I'm looking for. I'm also looking for the others.” I told her. “Well, Have you found anyone, besides me?” I shake my head no.

She looked down after I told her that. But I lift her chin up and smile down on her.

“But down worry, I'll find them. I found you haven't I?” She nods. “So, there is no reason why I couldn't.” She grinned happily and I lulled her to sleep, just like before.

Morning came and we needed to leave, Galatea told me that she saw two monsters lurking near the place we were staying.

We are already far from where we were but it's better to be safe than sorry. We needed to be at least five cities afar to be safe enough from monsters for two days the least.

“Hey Ade, where are we headed now?”

“Where going to head New York, I heard Harmony are staying there. She were adopted by a couple a few years back, and now staying in there care.” I informed her.

“Ade, where are you getting these information from?” She inquires.

“Galatea is linked to me, she could access my memories, see them and once she sleeps, she'll have a vision in a form a dream, that dream contains information of you guys, that is how I always know where you guys are located.” I explained to her. She nods her head, absorbing the information she just found out.

“Does that mean, you'll always find us if ever we're separated again?” She warily asked. I sensed her wariness. I reached for her hand and clutched it tight.

“Yes, I'll always find you.” I lied. Galatea can find ones whereabouts by looking through my memories but that doesn't mean, it'll be accurate. She once had a dream that Czarina is in the forest of Brazil but I found nothing.

Galatea's visions is not my only source of finding the girls. I once prayed to the Goddess Hecate and the Messenger Goddess Iris for help to find the girls and they granted me the help I need whenever I do so, with the persuasion of Lady Hestia.

“That's a relief....” I heard her say quietly.

I'm sorry I lied to you, My little starlight, I'll tell you everything once I've found everyone.
