"How dare you?!" Emperor Qi shouted in rage, His fists clenched together and eyes popping out. "your majesty, it's not true! I was framed your majesty!" min xia said tearing up. "oh really? all the evidence points to you being the perpetrator dear sister" crown princess min xiao said with her hand hovering over her nose to conceal the devilish smile harboured on her face. "you! you did this didn't you?!" min xia responded angrily. "oh your majesty!" min xiao screamed as she went down on her knees pretending to be hurt and concerned "your majesty please spare her, please.. even tho she tried to kill you.. and me, even tho... she's trying to put the blame on me and make you hate me. please forgive her!". min xia was disgusted by the act her sister was putting on to the Emperor and his family; she felt like throwing up at the pretense that was going on before her. " No don't beg for her" crown prince Qi wan said helping his crown princess up. Min xia was very surprised at him , she thought she knew what kind of person he was. He always portrayed himself as as the sweetest prince alive but as it turns out he's still and harsh as the rest. "your majesty..." "enough!" Emperor Qi said and waved his arm in the air. "it's been decided. you and your accomplice shall be executed in the most painful way possible to serve as a warning to others who will ever try to come against me Emperor Qi ever again!"

min xia is in the dungeon cell they put her, she's silent and not even blinking. She was thinking about how her entire family betrayed her just to let her sister become the crown princess and ascend the throne as empress. she was also thinking of how they were going to execute her and her beloved yuan zi who wanted to do nothing but help her so that they could live together in peace and now because of her he was going to die a scapegoat. she couldn't help the tears coming down her cheeks as she thought about these things. "are you crying dear sister?" min xiao said as she gracefully walked up to her cell front with the crown prince behind her. "so sorry this had to happen to you" she said in sarcasm which made min xia cringe with hatred. "you b**ch! you will pay for this!" she cried in anger.

"now now, there's no need for curse words" said the crown prince subtly. "don't you dare talk to me about manners you monster. you supported her and did this to me. If u didn't want to marry me why didn't you just say so?!" min xia replied while holding the cell bars with her bloody injured hand with she had sustained from the previous torture she'd suffered. "I truly have nothing against you little girl. I just needed your family's support to become the crown prince so now that I've gotten it I have no use for you anymore and you..." he was cut short by min xia who says "if you wanted our family's support why didn't you just marry her first?!". The crown prince nodded " that is true but you know at the time she was engaged to the former crown prince as his concubine so we had to eliminate him first so that I can be crown prince and she my crown princess" he says as he lifts min Xiao's chin and kisses her.

"so..so the prince wasn't in an accident. you... you killed him!"

"Emperor and Empress Qi arrives!" an eunuch shouted to the people gathered in front of the palace to watch the execution of the people who committed treason. The Royal family including the crown prince and princess were seated at the right side of the 'stage' per say where the execution would take place. min xiao was joyfully waiting for min xia's demise all the while pretending to be sad and weakened. "Bring in the criminals!" the emperor ordered and min xia was brought out along with yuan zi. They were both wearing white clothes and were shackled on their hands, feet and even necks surprising the common viewers. The emperor stood up and raised his hand making the murmuring crowd quiet down. "we are here today to witness the punishment of criminals who dare to commit treason to the throne and to me.". min xia was made to kneel while yuan zi was tied to a long pole standing and then blindfolded. " let the punishment begin!" the Emperor said before sitting back down. The punishment was to start with yuan zi and min xia was frantic. she saw them carry knives and go towards him. "No no no please no!" she screamed but the executioners didn't care. she practically almost went mad when she saw them Peirce the knives into his two blindfolded eyes. yuan zi screamed with pain so much that the commoners viewing them started crying even tho they believed he tried to commit treason. min xia could feel her whole world fall apart and her heart being ripped to pieces but that wasn't all to come. Next, while he was standing, they took thorned whips and began to beat him all over. The whips went through his flesh and cut their way out making him cry out loudly. over and over they kept whipping him while min xia was forced to watch with her eyes wide open.

After about 65 whippings they stopped. min xia couldn't even cry anymore, the tears just couldn't come out because they weren't there. All that was left in her was dread, despair, sorrow, anger and hatred.

yuan zi had become so weak than the only thing he could do was breathe, but the executioners hadn't had enough fun yet. They immediately went to the back of the 'stage' and returned with two sticks with red hot metals at the end. min xia couldn't keep her mouth from opening in despair and the hot metals were pushed right into his sides. she could here the sizzling of his skin as he screamed for his life all the while still blindfolded. they did this to other parts of his body too including his face. After all the terrible torture, he looked as good as dead and was dropped to the floor right next to her and his blindfold was removed. min xia eyes closed in utter sadness as she saw him bleeding profusely from his eyes and other parts of his body. "min..min xia?" tears ran through her eyes as he said this. "I'm sor...ry... I couldn't pro..tect you.*cough blood* but I... am happy I was still able ...to die... with you. I love... I love yoouu." and those were his last words.

Her world had finally ended. he was gone. Forever. She would never see him again. But it didn't matter her sadness, cuz she was next.

It was her turn to be punished although watching Yuan zi die was more than enough punishment to last her a lifetime but it just wouldn't do. min xiao joyfully watches in anticipation to what they were going to do to her while pretending to be sad and crying to gain the imperial family's sympathy.

The executioners didn't punish her in the same way yuan was punished. instead they stripped her till the only clothes on her body were the clothes around her chest and the one on her waist to her thighs. This was the most embarrassing thing to happen to a woman apart from being completely ***** and that had never ever happened before so this was the top, But it still wasn't enough for them. they doused her with a strange liquid but with a very familiar scent making her 'clothes' almost see through. she was doused from the top of her head to the tip of her toes and then tied to a pole on what looked like a raft with sticks underneath it. she knew immediately what was gonna happen to her and she began to cry silently inside her. she looked to yuan zi who laid there lifeless drained with his blood "I'm sorry" she thought "I'm sorry yuan. I'm so sorry" tears ran down her eyes. she looked to the imperial family and saw min xiao grinning from ear to ear and stick her tongue out to her; she looked away and her hatred grew. she remembered her family and how she trusted them especially min xiao. she remembered how she had played, laughed, and cried with them thinking they were her people who would support her through thick and thin. But they are the same people watching her die, grinning or with emotionless faces showing they didn't care. The feeling of betrayal...the feeling.

She began to feel hot under her feet and looked down. she was right! they were going to burn her! and this liquid she was doused in was to enhance the fire!. Within seconds she was engulfed in flames screaming and shouting in pain "aaaahhhhhhhhaaaahhhh!!!!!"

she kept screaming. Her bare almost clothe less skin made it easy for the fire to burn through combined with the liquid. with her dying consciousness she thought to herself "if...if there is truly Justice, if Justice does exist in this world, if there is anything as good, "I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!".

" my lady! my lady! my lady! are you alright?!"

She slowly opened her eyes trying to hold back a splitting headache. she looks around and is surprised. she's in her old room "my lady!" she hears and immediately recognises the voice; it is her right hand maid kiyue holding her shoulder and shaking her to wake up. "kiyue.. is..is it really you?" she asks. "of course it's me my lady don't you recognise me any more?" kiyue responds concerned for her lady's health. "but.. no..it can't be" min xia thinks to herself. "I.. I killed you..with my own hands. I killed you when I was still in love with that prince before I met yuan zi. how..". she immediately looks up into kiyue's light brown eyes and asks "what year is it? how old am I?". " why it's the year of the Leon and you are 16 your ladyship" kiyue answers surprised at her question. "what?!!" she thought "but..but that was THIRTEEN years ago!!!". She immediately runs to her mirror. she looks, amazed at what she's seeing. Her young features, slender beauty, untouched innocence; it is all here. She really had gone back, back to before the deception, back to before her mistake, back to before the betrayal!!.

She couldn't help an evil smile coming on her face. " min xiao, prince Qi, all of you..."
