CHAPTER 1

Xians’S POV

Born blind and an only omega in a family of two betas and two alphas can be perceived to be a bad omen for some but for me it was a good one.

Been blind didn’t stop my parents from teaching me how to read or write. When I was 7years old my brother’s classmate Du Yu taught me how to mud and after that I fell in love with it.

I loved to mud more than anything because if I mud I felt like I could see just by touching my creation. My senses of touch, and smell where excellent so most of the time I knew things through smelling and touching.

At the age of 10, I was more attached to Du Yu than my parents so Du Yu became my full time tutor and attendant. Even though he was only 18years at the time he was an excellent care taker.

I was not allowed to go outside the home either alone or with anybody. Every day after morning lessons, my day was spent in my studio where I could mud or walk within the mansion premises whilst waiting for my siblings to come back from school and tell me how their day was.

On my 18th birthday my dad arranged a private dinner party, so that he could formally introduce me to his friends and some of our relatives I had never met before. It was the first time I ever had something close to a birthday party, Du Yu was more excited than I was because every time a party was held at our mansion he and I were not allowed to be in attendance.

At around 5pm, Du Yu was helping me dress up, I spent my entire 18years in the mansion I knew each and every corner of it. When I was done preparing I excused myself and decided to take a quick walk to my studio to refresh my mind.

Upon arriving, I heard footsteps, “Whose there?” I asked

They was no response but the sound of footsteps were nearing where I was standing. In an attempt to get away, I fell on the ground and a smooth soft hand grabbed my shoulder and a gentle voice asked me.

“Are you okay?”

I could tell from the voice that it was a man. I replied that I was okay and the man pulled me up and carried me princess style. I was too shocked to say anything because I had never spoken to anyone outside the mansion apart from the mansion workers and my family.

The moment he carried me I could feel his breath on my face as I hid my face in his firm broad shoulders. He gave out a familiar feeling similar to that of Du Yu.

“What’s your name and what were you doing there?” he asked.

“A…a…am Xian”, I responded.

“Xian, are you a guest at this party?”

“Not really”

“Oh would you like to ditch the party and come with me to the garden?”

I agreed without resistance…! That surprised me because this man, it’s the first time am meeting him and I do not even know his name. Why am I like this towards him?

The cool breeze on the outside was beautiful, so was the distance music that could be heard from the dining hall. He was quiet until we reach the garden and asked me to sit down.

“What were you doing alone in that part of the mansion?” he asked

“I should be asking you that, after all I live here”, I responded

“You do?”

“Yes I do, and that part of the mansion is where my studio is located”.

“Studio?”

“Yes, studio”.

“I would love to see it, if you do not mind?”

Why is it that this person is so free with me like he already knows me, and now he wants to see my studio? I should ask Du Yu first if it’s fine to let a stranger in my studio and then again it is my studio I decide who is allowed.

When I was about to responded to his request, someone called out to me and it was my brother Shang.

“Xian what are you doing here and where the hell is Du Yu? You cannot be walking outside alone in the cold” said Shang.

“Am not alone am with this man, I just met him on my way to the studio”, I said

“Shang, good to see you have not changed at all still petite and the cheeks are still pink”, said the man next to me.

“Was that supposed to be funny Luo”, said Shang.

“Luo?” I asked

“Yes, this fine gentleman is Luo, he was my junior in high school and now our business associate”.

“In high school but not anymore, now am a senior in the business world right?” asked Luo.

“Yeah yeah you are, Xian let’s go inside”.

“Who’s Xian to you and where are you taking him?”

“Luo look at him closely doesn’t he look familiar?” asked Shang.

“What no way is this little piggy?” Luo asked.

“Yes, am surprised you did not recognize him taking into account that he was so fond of you among all my juniors”, said Shang.

That explains why I followed him blindly, am glad I got to know who he really is. I hope we can talk more now that I know he is no stranger to me or my family. Just when I was about to ask Luo something my brother said that my presences was needed after all it was my party.

“Am sorry, I did not come with any present but next time I visit will do so. So can I come and visit you Xian?” asked Luo.

“Brother can he come?”

“Uhhh well, if it is okay with you” Shang said while patting my back.

“It’s alright you can come visit me” I said.

“Very well see you next time and am leaving right now, the party is still boring plus I met the birthday boy already and happy birthday little Piggy”, said Luo.

After saying that he left and my brother and I proceeded to the dining hall.

Around 9pm the party was almost over and Audrey took me back to my room.

I was so nervous my heart was pounding so fast just by the thought of Luo’s voice and that night I couldn’t sleep. I was thinking of his voice and how is touch felt like on my skin as I caressed myself thinking of how it would be if it was him touching me.

Do not get me wrong these are not lustful feelings but I just cannot describe them right now. Oh brother I still have a long way to go don’t i?

***Chapter 2

*Three weeks later

LUO’S POV***

It’s been three weeks since the day I met Xian at the party, I did not want to visit him earlier because that might spook him. But I cannot take it anymore am going to visit him today after lunch or better yet during my lunch hour.

During lunch hour, I drove to Xian’s house and I got there around 1pm. One of the maidservants directed me to the studio where Xian was, as I entered the studio Xian was sitting on a couch and talking to Du Yu (by the way Du Yu was 3years my senior in university).

“Good afternoon Xian, Du Yu”, I greeted

“Afternoon Luo” Xian responded.

“Oh you now know my voice?” I asked.

“Yes”, said Xian.

Du Yu just nodded his head and looked away. Since way back Du Yu and I never got along it was not because he hated me, but because of my crazy best friend “JAY” who had a crush on him.

“Uhh Du Yu it is nice seeing you after a long time how have you been?” I asked.

“Good, may I know what you are doing here?” asked Du Yu.

“I came to see Xian” I said.

“Who gave you permission too?” Du Yu asked.

“Xian and Shang”, I said.

He turned, looked at Xian and asked, “really Xian?”

“Yes, he said he wanted to visit my studio”, Shang responded.

Du Yu stared at me and left, it was finally me and Little Piggy. The first time I met Xian was when he was 6years old Shang as my senior used to invite us to his house often and loved to follow me around. My friends and I called him little piggy because of his pink chubby cheeks.

“Xian, may I look around your studio?” I asked.

“You know full well that am blind right?” Xian asked.

“Yes”

“And you can see right?”

“Yes, but why all these………..”, before I could finish my sentences Xian cut me and said.

“Which means with or without my permission you can still see them because I would not notice”.

“Well I could see”. I said slightly, “but not touch them”

He chuckled and gave me permission too, as I was looking around I wondered in my head how someone who has never seen anything can create such beautiful pieces.

I stared at Xian who was still sitting on the couch and thought to myself how he did this because each piece was almost identical to the actual thing I was seeing/have seen.

“Xian how do you do it?” I asked while walking towards where he was sitting and sat beside him.

“Do what?”

“Create/mud these things?”

“It was Du Yu’s idea that since I cannot see, I would probably have a feel of how things are and make them that way I would have a hint to how such a thing is like”.

“And does it work?”

“Yes”

“This is great so can you mud my face?”

“mmmhh why would you ask that of me?” he said while frowning his eyebrows

“Because you said if you mud you have a feel of what that thing is like so if you can mud my face you can have a feel of how I look like”.

“Well…..”

“Do take time to answer I hope you’ll agree” I said.

Just then Du Yu came back with a strawberry smooth and a soda, he handed me the soda and gave the Chocolate smoothie to Xian. I then remembered I promised to bring a birthday present for him.

“Xian next time would you like to go somewhere with me?” I asked

“Xian cannot go outside do says his parents its dangerous for him”, said Du Yu

“Xian I will protect you. Can you just trust me on this one?” I said whilst grabbing hold of Xian’s hands.

XIAN’S POV

I had never been outside the mansion premises because my parents and the rest of the household treated me like the moment I step outside I will melt or disappear. If I agree and go out with Luo I can have a feel of the outside world.

“Du Yu I want to go out with Luo” I said

“but your parents said…….” Before he could finish his sentence I cut him and said

“It does not matter what they say or said just let me out this once Du Yu, please” I pleaded with him.

“Xian if it was up to me I would let you out every day”, Du Yu said

“Guys I have to go back to the company now, but if you finally agree to let Xian go out with me please give me a call” Luo said and left.

“Alright” I said

“Here is my card Du Yu do call, Xian take care”

That night I persuaded Du Yu to allow me go out, he finally gave in and agreed. YES am going out with Luo. The next morning I asked Du Yu to call Luo so that I can give him an answer.

*on phone

- Hello

- uhhh… hi this is Xian

- Oh how are you Xian?

- am good and you

- Alright

- am calling to inform you that I will go out with you

- Du Yu agreed?

- Yes

-And your parents?

- Du Yu and I agreed to not tell them because they will not agree to this

- That’s not a problem so I will pick you up next week Friday, how’s it?

- okay

- then its settled Friday next week at 2pm bye need to go to work now

-okay

*end call

*NEXT WEEK FRIDAY

That day I was up earlier than usual that surprised Du Yu the time he came to help me get ready. I was so excited that I asked for a bubble bath so that I could smell good and I asked to be dressed in good fashionable clothes.

At exactly 2pm Luo called informing us that he’s outside and now the problem was passing security at the gate. Du Yu suggested we use the back gate were they was less security (its times like this I wonder why this mansion is heavily guarded).

At the back gate, luckily for us one of the guards was Du Yu’s close friend so he said as long as we acted discreetly he will act like he did not see anything.

When we got out Du Yu called Luo to come at the back exit.

“Bring him back at 5pm” Du Yu Audrey told Luo

“Yes sir”

“And bring him without a scratch”

“Okay I promise trust me I will protect him with my life”

Du Yu held my hands tightly, hugged me and said to me, “take care and if he tries anything funny bite anything that moves”. I did not understand what he met but I knew it was for my own good. He then helped me into the car and we drove off.

***CHAPTER 3

LUO’S POV***

As we drove off, I looked back at Du Yu through the side mirror and he looked like he just gave his son in marriage.

I drove all the way to a nearby cafe where I ordered a smooth for Xian and I, and there I asked Xian if they was a place he wanted to visit.

He said anywhere would be nice so I decided to take him to a nearby amusement park, we rode on the rollercoaster and others rides.

He looked like he enjoyed himself, even though he threw up on the first and second ride (Du Yu will kill me if Xian gets sick because of all the rides: shit).

I then took him to a restaurant, he looked a bit pale but considering that it was his first time at an amusement park am sure that contributed. While at the restaurant, I noticed that Xian was a picky eater he just wanted deserts and hated the idea of veggies in all his meals (kind of cute if you ask me).

At around 4pm, we drove to the beach and took a walk, the moment the water touched his feet a big smile appeared on his face. That’s the first time I had seen Xian smile that brightly.

“Why are you smiling so much?” I asked

“Because am happy” he responded

“Happy?” I grabbed hold of his hands and stood still

“Yes” he said while smiling. “You are the first person, to ever invite me outside much less take me out to an amusement park”

“You mean you have never been to an amusement park” I was shocked my mum took me to an amusement park when I was 6years old and this guy is 18, and never been there not even once.

“Yes, my parents treated me like a breakable item, they said I was vulnerable to the outside world”.

He then laughed and said, “thank you Luo even though I cannot see, today I feel like have seen a little ray of light in my life”.

That did touch me deeply, I looked at his face which looked kinda cute my little piggy had really grown into a beautiful swan. I pulled him closer to my chest and wrapped my arms around him.

I pulled him back and leaned in for a kiss, I was so close that I felt his breath on my lips but just then my phone rang and it was ‘Du Yu …!’ seriously he is a bad omen in my life. I grabbed Xian’s hand, got into the car and drove back.

On the way back, all I could think of was that MONKEY Du Yu disrupting my moment with Xian. When we got there he was waiting at the back gate with a fierce look on his face.

From that moment on, I visited Xian every Monday and Friday without fail but each time I wanted to hug or get close to him, Du Yu was ready to intervene.

It was time for plan B, YES that’s right PLAN B. plan B was ‘JAY’ my bestfriend and Du Yu’s worse nightmare. Chip at the time was in Africa working with Doctors without borders, so I emailed him hoping for him to come and help me.

I knew that as long as I mentioned Du Yu, he will fly home right away and it did not take long. Chip was back three days later, I briefed him of the situation and he was more than glad to help.

*A week later

Chip and I decided to go and visit Xian, on our way to Xian’s residence, chip could not help but ask about Xian and Me.

“Oh man this is messed up you’re trying to court our seniors little brother, are you a pedophile?” asked Chip

“Hell no, what are you thinking of you MF?” I responded smacking him on his face

“He is ten years your junior dude and I know you liked him even in the past but did not think you were legit” he said while smirking

“True, and now that I have seen him again I have realized that my feelings from back then are real and now stronger than before.”

“Drive us safely there first, wake me up when we get there”, he said and then closed his eyes.

We just arrived at the mansion and making our way inside, we met Du Yu he looked like he had seen a ghost when he saw Chip. On the other hand chip looked very happy, Du Yu directed us to where Xian was and left almost immediately after pointing to the exact position. YES, my plan is working perfectly...

Xian was sitting in the garden with Ping Ling his sister, when Ping Ling saw us she quickly ran to me and hugged me and gave me a seat next to her. She offered us Tea and snacks, I gave Xian my tea cup and snacks. I knew Emily had a thing for me and I did not want to entertain her.

The entire time I was talking to Xian I could feel Ping Ling’s intense glare at us. I got up from where I was sitting and sat next to Xian.

i wanted to avoid her so badly that I did not even gaze in her direction, each time she started a conversation with chip she would ask for my opinion on the matter which annoyed me.

“Xian would you like to visit my house?” I asked.

“Uhhh I.. Can I really?” he asked

“Yes, anytime any day my home is open for you”

“I have to ask my……”. Before the boy could finish his sentence Ping Ling grabbed his arm and said

“We would love to visit your home, right Xian?” Xian nodded and I just let out a small sigh.

I was not surprised that Ping Ling jumped in what did was the fact that she was still sitting with us despite knowing full well that I did not like her been there.

“Alright then do come by any day”, after saying this we left.
