Whispers of a Rainy September
Beneath a sky of silver-gray,
On a rainy September day,
Our college led us far and wide,
Through metro rails, where dreams reside.
We reached a place, calm and deep river,
A boat awaited, its secrets to keep.
Three of us friends, strangers too,
Set sail together, the world anew.
Among the chatter, laughter's chime,
My heart paused, frozen in time.
For there he was, a vision so rare,
Bright of skin and stylish hair.
His dashing eyes, a piercing glow,
His voice, a melody, soft and low.
Each word he spoke, a gentle art,
That stirred the quiet of my heart.
He is my love at first sight, so true,
A feeling so rare, born entirely new.
In that fleeting moment, under the rain,
He became my joy, my sweetest pain.
Though he may not know, may never see,
The love that bloomed so quietly in me,
That rainy day, that stolen view,
Will forever remain, timeless and true.
