Just to let you know
There are a few thing that will help you understand better
Max’s parents died at when he was 12 and he was forced to live with his abusive aunt and uncle who took over the mafia after his parents died
But when he was 18 he inherited the millions his mom and dad left for him and took over the mafia from his aunt and uncle and moved away
When max was 14 his aunt and uncle decided to let James who was a strong guard train max to be stronger at first James was cold but when he saw the way max’s aunt and uncle where treating him he started to be nicer until they eventually became like brothers
