Aadita worked as a part time waitress in a bar after her college. She was an orphan and was trying funding her education.

"The bar is packed today!" The manager of the bar exclaimed.

"Yeah, totally!" Said Tanisha another waitress and Aadita’s best friend.

"So, since today, the bar is packed like this, do we get some extra cash for serving to them?" Asked Tanisha.

"Of course!" The manager said.

(Like I would actually care to give you my extra income.) The manager thought to himself.

Aadita scoffs, "You know what? Just keep the change!" Aadita said with sarcasm and went away to serve the costumers.

"What the… Was she able to hear my inner thoughts?" The manager was struck for some moment.

"Maybe!" Said Tanisha, laughing on the inside.

Aadita had the power to read people’s mind. She didn’t want to gain this power but somehow she was born like this. It was kind of funny for her to read everyone’s mind around her. But she didn’t mind this power. The only one who knows about this power she had was her best friend Tanisha.

Aadita and Tanisha then got busy with their own stuff and started to carry on waitressing.

After some time a man entered the café. The man had a strange aura around him. His eyes. Were fascinating and so was his face. Whoever looked at him couldn’t stop staring at him. He had something about his presence that could make every girls’ heart stop beating and voice mute.

After he settled on his seat Aadita went to him to ask for his orders.

"So, what would you like to order please?" She asked.

The person looked up at him and Aadita got spellbound. She was struck to see such a handsome man.

That man was also starting at her in a very strange way. After a moment or two that guy, staring at her that way only, asked her.. "Are you done starting at me?"

Aadita heard him say that and came to her senses.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I just… I don’t think I’ve seen you before, is it your first time here.” She said.

“Yeah, I’m new in this city. I just moved yesterday,” He said.

“Oh! I see”

‘ Oh gosh! That guy is just so hot! I would even be ready to become his f*ck doll if he would ask me to stay.... He would be so amazing in bed’ Aadita heard a person’s inner voice while the guy was checking out the menu.

Hearing this kind of inner thought she looked around and spotted the woman whose eyes were fixed on him.

(Ahh…geez! These girls! They really got some weird fantasies about him.If only he could hear their thoughts as I can. But taking a look at his face, he actually is worth every comment made by them. He actually is kind of cute.) she thought to herself.

“What?” That guy looked at her in surprise.

"Huh?" Aadita was taken aback for a moment.

(Did he just read my mind or something?) She thought.

The guy smirked.

Aadita was confused at his reaction.

“What are you smirking at?” Aadita demanded.

“Nothing, I'll have a chocolate sundae and butter iced cupcake please” He said keeping the menu folding on the table.

Aadita was really unsure of the way he was acting right now.

(What exactly is going on in his mind? Let me check it!) Aadita closed her eyes and tried to listen to his mind but she couldn’t.

( Huh? What the hell? How could this happen?) Aadita thought? She closed her eyes and tried doing it once more.

Still there was nothing that she could hear.

Aadita was confused. She tried hearing the minds of everyone else around her. She was able to hear everyone in the Café but, not him.

"What… Are you?" Aadita asked immediately because she was sure she could read every human mind, unless he is not human at all.

He chuckles hard hearing her words. “What do you mean by What are you? What can I even be? “ He asked.

His question sounded genuine too, what could he even be? There were no such things as walking dead or some other un-humanly, human creatures. It was all a legend.. A false story made up by people to entertain themselves.

Aadita thought the same thing and she passed that thought away.

"So, umm… what is it you’re gonna have?" Aadita asked again. She completely forgot the fact that he had already placed his order.

"Okay, can you come out of your fantasies and pay attention to your customers please?" He asked getting irritated by her same question again. "I ordered a chocolate sundae and butter iced cupcake. Can you make it quick please?" He said.

(What’s with his attitude? So irritating! Jerk!!) She cursed him under her breath and noted down the order for him.

He just scoffed hearing her thoughts, which he could hear, it was weird for him too, because strangely he didn’t had the power to read people’s minds but he could read hers.

"Anything else?" Aadita asked before leaving.

"You don’t have what I really want from so many years!" He smirked at her and said slowly as if he was blabbering something to himself.

Aadita decided to ignore him and went to the station for taking his order.

“He’s charming!" Tanisha remarked again.

“I know but he has a lot of attitude in him. He’s so full of himself!" Aadita exclaimed.

“Ooooh! Bad boy didn’t noticed a beauty?" Tanisha teased her.

“Oh please! I don’t even want him to notice me." Aadita jerked her off.

“Then why are you so affected by him?" Tanisha asked.

“Because he is the only person I met in my whole life, whose mind.. I cannot read it!" She said.

“Wow! Really? But that never happened to you. Why don’t you try to get to him? He’s hot, and now that you cannot read his mind.. may be dating him would be interesting." Tanisha said.

“Huh? Please! He is a weird guy. It would be the best to stay as far as away from him as possible." Aadita said and walked towards his table with his order.

"It's been a while we did something naughty together!" Aadita said as she drunk up her first bottle of beer in a lot more to come.

Aadita was on a treking night out with her college friends camping there on a clift.

"I have something we can play, a sexy version of truth and dare?" Diya suggested in a very sexy voice.

"Well... The way you say it.. It's going to be fun I guess." Krish said.

"Alright then," Tanisha finished up her beer and placed the bottle in the middle, "Let's roll the bottle!"

The bottle stopped at Tanisha.

"Tanisha?! Okay, truth or dare?" Krish asked her excited.

"Truth" Tanisha said

"Tell us about your most risky sexual encounter!" Krish asked her.

"Well.. I would say it was in the classroom in the middle of an ongoing lecture." Tanisha said.

Everyone stunned with excitement. Aadita scoffed and sipped ger drink further. Since Tanisha was her best friend she knew everything about her.

"Oh my god! I want details!" Diya exclaimed.

"Well.. I'm not giving you the details, lean on your imagination after this. I told the truth I was asked for." Tanisha said and gulped up her beer.

"Well.. I know that story!" Aadita said sipping a gulp.

"It was with Yash, two years ago, high school, and nothing much happened... Just some intimate touches and that's it." Aadita said.

"Hey!" Tanisha shouted at her in annoyance

"Okay, that was fun, let's roll the bottle again guys!" Diya said and spinned the bottle. it landed on Aadita.

"Truth or Dare?" Diya said in a very dark but alarming voice.

'I'll take you down tonight Aadita no matter what you choose.' Aadita heard her inner voice. She was getting uncanny.

"Dare!" Aadita took the bait.

"Cool! Then, I command you to strip dance here." Diya said.

'Let's see how bold you can get!' Diya's inner voice, she could hear it

Aadita stared at her eyes and she in her's. There was a death silence between them both.

"Uhh.. Well you can skip if you don't want to" Krish said jumping up in the middle.

"No! I'll do it!" Aadita said.

She played the music and started stripping herself grooving seductively. First removing her jacket then sweater, then her shirt, she came down to her innerwear now.

"Okay! That's enough!" Anshuman, Aadita's boyfriend yelled at Diya who was watching her with fiery eyes. While Krish got up to wrap her in his jacket.

"It's okay Krish, I got this." Aadita said and settled down to wear her clothes back.

'Humph! Every guy just, lingers around her so much! It's so irritating... Even Anshuman lingers around her so much! After everything that happened between us.' Aadita heard Diya's mind again.

Aadita was confused, (What does she mean by after what happened between us? What happened between these two?) Aadita thought.

"Are we still continuing the game? It was just a dare!" Diya said cheerfully. "I'm sorry if I hurt you!" Diya said smiling to her.

'Humph! As if!' Her inner voice said.

(She is such a double faced woman, if not for my powers, I couldn't really make out what she might be thinking behind that smile of hers) Aadita thought in her head but smiled at her in response.
