In the country XYZ, a new apocalypse came. Every now and the. police would find a new dead body in the public place. Situation was out of control. People were scared and avoided getting out at night, Yet, someone use to die. The murder not only leave the victims body but Slit its throat neatly.

~At night around 8:00 pm~

"He can't find me here." a girl who was coming back from her voilin class was being chased by an unknown figure. She hid behind dumpster and prayed to lord to have mercy on her. As she was praying she can hear steps approaching. She can also hear something like metal being dragged. Then suddenly footstep stopped and turned some other way.

'huh!... did he take the wrong turn.' she thought to herself. she crawled to see and there was no one. She sighed in relief and stood up and start walking towards her home,

"You sighed way too fast."

She turned to see but that figure caught her throat and pushed her down.

"why are you doing this to me?" that girl some how managed to say.

"You didn't do anything dear, I will make it less painful, don't worry." and with that her throat was sliced.

~At morning~

"My dear students, it is a sad moment for us, that our beloved student 'Ariel' became a victim. Such a honourable student left usat such a young age............"

"I can't believe she died. Why did the murderer choose her." said Lily.

"Well... fate surely do play games on us." said Gretel.

"Hey gretel, don't say something like this, Am scared now."

"whatever" and with that Gretel left.

"hey... wait for me."

"Gretel, its really sad don't you think. I mean yea Ariel was very proudy and was center of attention, but killing her was too brutal. Don't you think."

"Lily.... if its meant to be it will be, we can't change it, so better accept it and move on."

"Gretel" Lily stopped immediately

"Why did you stop." Gretel turned to Lily who stopped out of blue.

"Gretel, if I became the Victim oneday, will you still say those."

"Don't say something like this-" she stopped when she saw how serious was Lily.

"I will be sad Lily." Gretel hugged her "please don't say such unpleasant things. I don't want to lose you."

"Gretel"

Lily looked up and kissed her.

*Bell ring

"lets go, classes are about to start."

~At police station~

"Victim name was Ariel

age 18 sex-Female

good at sports, studies and music

she even had a boyfriend named Mark."

Chief Linda said.

"This time victim was a young girl." Inspector Bernard said.

"Hmm, she was almost perfect, did she fight with anyone in collage before." asked senior inspector Nathan.

"No, she belonged to a reputed family and never hold grudges with anyone." Detective Terence said.

"hmm this is getting complicated." said Nathan

"there are no clues, nor connections." said Bernard out of frustration.

"She was killed in same way as other victim" said Nathan

"First was that man named Angelo, age 43, Then a guy named peter, age 25, then whole Houston family, then Mrs Darci age 50 and now her. What is their connection." said Linda

"I guess we need to dig the history too." said Bernard

"We did that too, but still no connections, except Angelo and Houston Family. Angelo use to work in Houston family as a gardener. Thats all information we got. Rest was unable to connect." said Terence.

"Sir, we found something" a constable came towards them.

"According to recent study we got to know that peter and mrs Darcy where both with rare blood group. Their blood group was Rh-null, the golden blood."

"that's the one thing, but still it doesn't connect." said Nathan

"it does sir" said Terence "in Houston Family, there was a maid, called Ruby. She also had Golden blood."

"So if we are able to track that maid we can find the culprit, right?" asked Linda

"Ruby died 15 years ago. She was Angelo's wife, we don't know how their personal life was, but it was said that she disappeared suddenly. Houston's family searched for her, but she was no where to be found. They gave up and the case was closed. Oneday, Houston's youngest son found maid's clothes. Police was called and declared it was Ruby's

cloth, because her hair was found. Ruby was found after 3 years of her disappearance, but dead."

"Did she have any kids?" asked Bernard

"That is yet to be found."

~At college around 12:30 pm~

"Wow~, its so delicious." said Lily cheerfully

"There, there eat it slowly, you will choke yourself."

"Gretel, try this sausage, it so good." she put fork infront of her.

"I hate non veg"

"Boo~ how can you hate it, its so good." Lily took a big bite and enjoyed it.

They were enjoying the meal when suddenly

"How can you be so happy?"

They looked up and saw Mark and his friend James. Lily had secret crush on Mark, but when he found out she rejected her embarrassingly.

"One of your classmate died and you are enjoying your meal. I didn't expect this fron you Lily." James said

"This is the reason, she Can't have any guy."

and with that they left.

Gretel saw Lily, her head hung down, tears rolling

"Lily don't be bothered by those two." comforted Gretel.

Lily gave a weak smile and said, "I am fine, I need to go washroom. You can go to class without me." and with that she left. Gretel wanted to stop her but, she couldn't.

Lily didn't attend any lectures. Gretel was worried, She tried calling Lily but she didn't pick her calls. She was worried and started searching for her, when suddenly he phone rang. It was Lily.

She picked, "Lily where are you?"

"I should be asking that, where are you?"

"huh? Am in the college searching for you."

"Am infront of your apartment, come fast." and disconnect the call.

'when did she reach my apartment.' Gretel thought. Then she went home hurriedly.

Gretel sighed and went to the kitchen. She made coffee for both of them.

Lily seemed fine, so they both chatted and Gretel told her about classes.

"Ah~ it's 8 already, why don't you stay for the night."

"okay, I'll take shower first." and Lily went for shower. When she came out light were off. She went to the bedroom

Then suddenly hands wrapped around her.

"Gretel~, hey, Am not ready."

Gretel started kissing her neck, and her hands pulled the towel and threw it some where.

Gretel took her to bed and kissed her furiously. har hands were roaming around her body.

"Just let me in Gretel. Let me have some fun too."

"Is it because of this girl. Then let me remind you, she is cheating on you with that guy."

Gretel and Lily went for shopping in the mall in City z. As they were shopping Gretel saw some girls

"Aren't they beautiful, especially that white one." said that voice."Just look at her, her flawless skin, rosy lips and lilac eyes. I just want to devour her right now. She got my attention. I'm not leaving ger"

As Gretel was in daze, suddenly felt a pat on her shoulder

"Gretel what happened, who are you looking at?" She saw toward same and saw those girls.

"Gretel, how can you look at other girls when you have me. Hump."

"Ah Lily, don't be mad. Lets for eating, my treat."

She took Lily to food court but didn't stop looking for that girl.

*ring *ring

Lily's phone rang.

"Sorry I need to take this call." and she left.

After few moment she came back.

"Who called you?" asked Gretel

"M-my mom called. She is asking me to come back soon. Lets call for the day after we eat."

"sure."

After eating they bid farewell to each other, Gretel was not going home. She followed that silver hair girl.

'She lives near mall, Gretel lets fix date for her.'

-At police station-

"Sir, we got something else too." said Linda

"According to the Investigations Peter, Darcy and Ariel went to mall City z."

"So what many people go to mall, that mall is so big." Said Nathan

"Its true many use to go, but we got to know that they went there a week before their death." said Linda.

"Sir, should we investigate the mall?" asked Bernard

"This can be a mere coincidence, but still. Lets go."

They reached mall and talked to their manager about it, but still didn't find any clue.

"Aah so exhausting." said Bernard

"What should we do sir. Should I call detective Terence?" asked linda

"No need, we'll tell him tomorrow." said Nathan

-At terence house-

Terence went to buy some groceries on his way back he saw Gretel.

"Gretel." He waved at her.

She saw and greeted him.

"Are you heading back home, lets go together?"

He saw she was carrying shopping and groceries bags which looked heavy.

"Let me carry these for you."

"N-no need Mr. Terence, I can manage."

"Its ok, how can I let a girl carry these."

As Terence took a bag he almost fell down.

"Mr Terence, let me carry these."

"No its fine."

he carried and some how brought those heavy bag to the apartment.

Terence and Gretel are neighbour who lives next to each other.

"Thank you Mr. Terence, why don't you come for tea."

Terence was a bit taken back but accepted the offer. He saw the room

it was quite elegant.

"Mr Terence please have a seat." she went to prepare tea.

"Your house is pretty nice. Simple decoration and look exclusive."

"You flattered me Mr. Terence, its not that great."

"Am not joking I really liked it."

He was admiring her house when he came across the picture.

"You looked cute when you were young."

Then he came across a portrait.

"I didn't know you have art skill." he was amazed to see.

"Ha ha Thanks, thats my mom."

"You are Indian, I never knew that. You don't look like Indian either."

Gretel smiled and offered the tea.

After some time Terence went home. At home Terence thought about the Bag. She was able to carry them perfectly.

On her her way home she saw breaking new

"A girl named Suzan, found dead with her throat slit, infront of DH society. The camera's were damaged, so its hard to detect the killer. Police have been searching for this killer, yet unable to track any source. This time Killer took action fast and it very dangerous for being out..... valh blah blah."

Gretel saw this news and left. She reached her apartment and was greeted by same figure.

'It was amazing right. Especially when you tied her on bed. She was so cute. Just like a puppy. She was begging to her life. You did-

"SHUT UP" snapped Gretel

"SHUT UP SHUT UP, SHUT THE FUCKING UP."

she was panting, she has lost her mind

"IT WAS NOT ME, IT WAS YOU. YOU DID IT."

She fell on her knees, and stared to cry. "She was innocent, not only her, but Peter, Darcy, Ariel, and member of Houston's family. *sob *sob they didn't do anything thing wrong. Why killing the innocents." She was trembling

'I didn't know such a ***** you are. It was their fault, not yours, so what are you guilty for. You only did justice, there is nothing bad.'

"Yes, its not my fault. I didn't do anything wrong. They were Bad guyz, who looked down upon people. I just taught them lesson. Yeah..... HAHAHAHAHAHAH."

Gretel has completely lost her mind.

'But this punishment is light for them.'

She know what has to be done to the next victim.

~At police headquarters~

"Another victim, around 20, what does this killer wants?" said Bernard, "No clues, No family or any other connections, No DNA, this guy is so professional."

"It is known that Suzan went to that mall few days back. All cameras were damaged too" said linda

"This is getting complicated." sighed Nathan

"What is the post mortem report?"

"According to the report few amount of chloroform was used, means after 30 min they can regain consciousness. According to the witness, she came home around 7 and she died around 8. Her body was discovered around 10 by a man who was going to that building. We also checked if there were any guest, but nothing was to be found." said linda

"Killer must have been waiting for her at the house." said Bernard

"Nope." said Terence "She must have never been to the house."

"WHAT!" They asked in disbelief

"When I went to the place. According to the witness, they just saw her entering the building at 7. So she must have been on her way but was knocked unconscious killer and he went to her apartment. h

He opened the door with keys, and kept the belongings to its place. Then he took the body. Using elevator was risky so he took emergency exit. Victim lived on 8th floor and each floor have 2 Window from where they dump trash. 1 window is for biodegradable and other one is recyclable. He must have thrown her body through window 1 because is didn't damaged her body. Then time he reached was when she started gaining consciousness. He picked her up and took her to the entrance of the building. When she came back to her senses He grabbed her throat not to make noice and slit her throat. After that most probably he must have disposed off his cloth."

"So well planned murder. He must have been genius." said Bernard

"So the clue left is footprint. Killer was wearing shoe and size is 7." said Terence while taking chair.

"Is he a teenage?" asked Nathan

"May b-" suddenly something popped in Terence head. "Linda, tell me your size."

"My what" she blushed

"your shoe size." Terence was getting impatient

"mine is 9."

Terence rushed to his computer and started typing something. They followed him.

"whats that?" asked Bernard

"I took ladies and men shoes measurement. According to chart 7 in men is 8.5 to woman."

said Terence

"His feet is smaller than Linda's." mocked Bernard.

"So, are you thinking that killer might be a woman?" Asked Nathan

"If she is a woman how can she carry the body and roam around." Asked Bernard.

"She can be a bodybuilder."Linda continued

"Unlike someone who sit and does nothing."

It was getting complicated for them to track. No one knows who's last day its going to be.

Lily went out on a date with Mark to Amusement park. They were acting like a couple. After few rides they went to a cafe

"Lily you had fun today?" asked Mark with smirk

"Yes" she replied

'Of course you need to enjoy yourself, you stupid bimbo." he thought

"So what do you want to eat." Mark asked

"Actually Mark, I just wanted to know..... why you asked me on a date?"

Mark hold her hand and said

"I know I was a jerk to go behind Ariel, but I had no choice." he said showing sadness in his tone.

"I didn't love Areil, she was behind me. If I had rejected her back then, she wouldn't let me go, she might even hurt you."

"She could have hurt you. I know I embarrassed you in public, but, I really loved you. I didn't want her to hurt you." he said while kissing her hand.

At this point Mark understood she has taken the bait, so he still pretended to love her and Gretel was watching all these.

"Your friend... Gretel.... did you tell her about us?" he asked

"Not yet." Lily said with disappointment.
