Two members of the harem are childhood friends Fiona and Kasey.
In this timeline the two met for the first time when they were five years old.
It was at the time that both Kasey and Fiona realize that they were in a manga they read in their previous life.
The two were originally wary of each other, but soon became the best of friends.
They often discussed theories on why they were in the manga and how the plot will be affected.
At some point, their relationship became more than 'just friends'.
It happened in their freshman year of high school when the mutual feelings were discussed.
Although both of their parents were likely to be supportive, they kept their relationship a secret, so the plot wouldn't revolt.
They successfully kept it a secret until the plot officially started in their junior year, which also happens to be where our story starts...

Fiona then zipped passed Kasey and made it to the front gate.
