***I'm Xio Sam. A student at Xusia High. I lost my parents when I was only eight, since then I'm living with my aunt Luer and my uncle. I'm not that of a social butterfly type of person. I don't get that along with others.

My parents mysteriously disappeared one day. The police never investigated on their case and so I never came to know what happened to them.

My aunt is not that financially improved though she tries her best to take good care of me. According to my mom's last wishes I was entrusted to her. She tries her best so tht i can live like a normal person but I just can't stop being me! The one who is always ignored, led behind, humiliated. Thus my life is not that much cheerful. Although I try my best to be like everyone but nobody can be like the ones they life, they just end up being them in the end. My mom's last remains her necklace is left with me. It's a little strange looking one as well as sometimes it glows.

My aunt don't seem to pay any attention to the necklace that much but the necklace is something not normal.

School, my nightmere. I'm not good at study that much and my grades are not that much high. Xu ken my best friends helps me a lot in my studies though we both are ignored from the rest of the students, we try our best to do well. Ken is a boy from a middle income family just like me. Since the first day at school he became my one and only friend. RAF tang the school bully. We encounter him a lot since we two are the ones who always get bullied.

My school life started to take a turn to a better path when Moya Wei came in. She was transferred to our school by her father's and as he lives in abroad she stays alone beside an apartment to our school."Hi! I'm Moya Wei " as she said with a smile I thought she ment someone else but later on when she sat beside me saying " will you introduce yourself, pleasee" I just couldn't find words to say as she was the first girls to sit beside me and talk. I was nervous and just said that I'm Sam. She then with a decent smile said " so you don't talk to much " I said no it's not like that and introduced my self . She said She was from the next school nearby and she lives on her own. I was surprised and asked why but then her smile just disappeared and said that she lost her mother and her father blames her for her mom's death and ousted her to stay alone on her own. I felt sad for her but then she said that's it's okay and she is fine now***.

***MOYA asked me if I had time after school. She wanted me to escort her around the school campus. I agreed but later then during lunch break she said she just want so see the library." Sam I just want to see the libeary" "Okay" "You don't want to talk" she said and hold my hand. I shaked her hand off and said that we should not hang out like this others would start making rumors about us.

"I don't know you that much, but Sam you are seem to run from your fears" saying she stood Infront. "if I don't then I will be the one to suffer " then she asked me if that's the right think to do. I didn't know the answers and so I kept quiet but she with her gentle words" it's okay to have fears we all do but if you keep running from them they would bring you more, I don't care what would others say, in the end of the day it would just me only me with my thoughts and no one could change them. So, why should you think about what would others say instead you should just let things go, make your fear your strength" she then again hold my hand. Her hand was warm. I didn't expect that she would be able to be friends with me since I'm a nobody in the class but she did.

"You don't care, what would others say about you when they will find us?" as I said she just smiled and laughed. " Is there any sin in being your friend? You are just a normal human being just like the rest of us." " it's not that, nobody just wants to be my friend, they just think me as trash." But then she changed the topic and asked me about my necklace. I said to her that's it's my mom's last remains with me, " it's very nice " saying she looked down, after that I asked her about her mother and she said her mom died in a car accident 5 years ago.

I almost forgot about the time and the moment we just got out of the campus she said " I just want to be by your side, count me as a friend and you are my only friend since I'm just a newbie here, I'm glad that I met you, you are nice" and left. It was very late and I knew that aunt was worried about me. I checked my phone but it was already dead. So, I need to go home as fast as possible.

It was dark all around and not a single soul on the streets. I started walking home. i almost arrived but before that I heard a strange sound behind me. I looked around and found no one but suddenly my necklace started to glow and just from a distant a man was standing in the dark of the shadows***.

***As I looked at him he asked me about my necklace. I had no idea what to do and asked what he wants. With a strange laugh he said he didn't want anything but just wants to talk.

I was scared and it was getting darker and darker with the pass of time.

"You seem to be in a hurry?" he asked keeping him half hidden in the darkness if the shadows. There was none whome I could ask for help and with a low voice I said " I'm sorry mister, but I have to go home now" he gave a scary smile and said we could talk and walk. I had a bad feeling about him and so I refused but he then grabbed my hand as I was shocked seeing his speed he said " it no need to afraid, Sam" I became to wonder how he knew my name but his grip was so strong that I was unable to get myself free. As he moved his hand to my neck I was strikes with panic but the moment he touched my necklace with a flash it threw him a distant away. I had no idea what happened but it was my chance to escape and I ought to run as fast as I could untill I reach home.

I ran and ran, he was not following me but I had a strange feeling that I was being followed and I don't know what was with the flash but I suddenly started feeling dizzy, but then at the moment I realized that no matter what u must reach home or I'll never be. I was out of my breath, I ran till my last limit but I fell by body was not in my support, my legs were numb by heart was racing and I was hardly able to breath. I though I was safe but he appeared just Infront of me like I was at the same place as before. " you really think you can run Sam. I thought that my touch would detonate that flash and I will be always unable to take that necklace by my will unless you willingly give it to me and if you don't will to I know how can I make you give me what I want." saying he walked close to me and the moment I thought he would get hold on me my uncle arrived " Sam! Why are you lying on the road?" I was thankful to the Gods for saving me but when I asked my uncle for help and told him about the strange man following me he found no one and as I looked back there really was not a single soul.

My uncle took me home carrying on his back as I was exhausted and my whole body was numb. I reached home and found my aunt crying. "Sam!! What time is it and what happened to you!!" as she said she looked at uncle and said to put me in my bed. Later my aunt brought me dinner and I told her everything but she took him just as a thief and so I also thought the same.
