I heard a knock on my door, and my heart raced, I opened the door and saw a maid, "milady, they are here", my maid said that and immediately, looked away, I stepped out of the room with my maid tailing behind me, I felt a feeling of nervousness, I tried to take away that feeling, but I think it impossible, I was climbing the stairs, I was still in deep thought, when I felt a strong hand on my waist, I looked up and saw the most beautiful, captivating blue eyes ever, I was still in a daze, when he suddenly cleared his throat, and he left without saying a word, I looked at his back, and continue walking with my heavy jewelry, when I reach the palace, I walked straight to my father, with my gaze lowered, when I reached there my father did not spare me a glance, same as my cruel step mother, I hate this house, but I don't just want to get married to somebody who is rumored, to be a demon, a cold blooded person.

The marriage ceremony finished after a few minutes, it was time for me to follow my new husband home.

when I woke up the next morning, I realized I was still in the carriage, with this same prince since yesterday, "Good morning", I muttered, he just replied with a nod.

When we finally reached our destination, I stepped out of the carriage, and saw a magnificent palace in front of me, my jaw dropped, I looked around the palace and I can see, the main reason why my father must have sold me out without thinking twice.

My father greed for power can make him do anything, I could finally see, the main reason.

Gavriel took me to his chamber,he stepped out of the room and the maid helped me get out of that dress, and dressed me in a white silk night gown, with my hair down, the maid came back inside and brought a cup, that is containing a herb, she gave it to me "what is this for", I inquired. "it would help relieve the pain", the maid said and looked at me pitifully.

"I don't need it", I said and dismissed the maid, I lay on the bed, when I heard the door opened, I looked toward the door, and saw that Gavriel, just entered, my heart raced and I stiffed my body.

I felt the other side of the bed sank in, he laid quietly beside me and I just stared at every except from his face, my back was facing him, he stood up and blew off the candles, and I drifted to sleep.

When I woke up the next morning, I saw that I was alone on the bed, I looked around and I heard a knock on the door, "come in", I said.

A maid came inside "good morning milady, his highness ask me to help you take your shower. the maid helped me take my shower, and dressed me up in a blue gown, she led me to a garden.

When I reached there I saw that Gavriel is already there "Good morning", I said, "hm" he replied with a nod.

He led me to a table that was filled with delicious and mouth watering food.we ate in silence, and he told me that he had to go, so he just left.

I was wandering in the garden all by myself,

i went back to my room, and told a maid to bring me a few books, I was so immersed in reading that I missed my lunch, the door suddenly flung open, Gavriel entered the room, he closed the door and walked toward me, "have you eaten", he asked. "oh no", I blurted out immediately.

He stormed out of the room in anger and came back after few minutes with a maid tailing behind him, I was nervous, because I don't know what would happen.

"you refused to serve my wife her lunch, all because I am not around, right", he said and clenched his fist, the maid looked down immediately, "I am sorry your highness, I thought you just asked me to serve her when she ask for it", the maid fell on her knees and continue to mutter "I am sorry your highness".

I decided to intervene, "it was my fault your highness, I was the one that was so immersed in reading, please forgive her", l pleaded, "stand up, you can go", he said to the maid "thank you, your highness, thank you milady", she said and dashed out of the room immediately.

He turned to immediately and said in a low voice, "don't let this happen again", he said and I immediately nodded, he led me to the garden, I sat down and start eating, he just sat there and stared at me without touching his food. "are you not going to eat", I asked him, and he replied with a nod, "why", I asked him, "because you are so beautiful, that just by looking at you, I don't think I need any food" he said and I blushed.

By the time I finished eating, it was almost night time, so I just took my bath without the help of the maid, after blowing off the candles, I fell asleep immediately.
