Will you spend the whole night in a haunted house just because your friend dared you to?

"No, right? That's ridiculous!" That's what Luna declared in her mind.

But still...

"Why the hell should I tag along with you guys?" Yelled Luna to no one in particular, but everyone heard. A little grumpy sounds were earned from the boys side, but the girls remained silent. 

There as silent as graveyard where the winds whispered it's tales. Even the moon watch them hiding behind the clould. Every step rosed with cautions.  

"Calm down, dear cousin," Max pestered putting on Lumi's back. She pulled herself away from him shocked. Her face went pale and the eyes were filled with fear, fear of monster approaching.

"You really know how to give people a heart attack. With your handsome face even the scariest ghost will faint. And please... for god sake keep those creepy hands away from me." Luma snapped at Max and gave him a unhurtful punch on his shoulder. 

"Dude, why so rude? Are you on your period or something?" Max suppressed a laugh. He loved to tease and scare her lovely cousin.

"God, you have no shame... Asking that kind of questions in front boys." Luna as red as beetroot pressed both her hands on her ears, trying to avoid the giggle everyone was giving. 

"C'mon, hold your tongue right there or I will cut it out of your mouth. You know she isn't good around boys. And yet you are embarrassing her. She's your sister not your homework that you don't understand better." Said the blond girl trying not to laugh. Her hands were wrapped around Max which other thought was nothing, but show off.

"Well, if she was his homework he'd had thrown her into gutter on our ways." Jinn laughed behind the couple who were glued with each other. No one bothered to laugh at his joke. Yet he didn't stop there, puting his own body between the couple, he separated them.  

"For our sake, can you stop this lovey-dovey act! Do you even care how much my heart hurts to see a couple in a single people's group. I too want to couple up," he said in a attempt to tease blondy Livia yet ended up blinking at other girl, Clare, on the last line.

Clare ignored Jinn's stare and looked in front where the gate of the hunted house waited to welcome them. Chills run through out of her body at the thought that they were going to spend entire night at the creepy bungalow. She immediately moved her eyes from the house which unconsciously stared right in to Jinn's eyes. Jinn didn't had any intention to leave even a single sight of his crush.

 Max moved forward to open the rusty gates of the mansion, but was pulled back by his blond girlfriend, Livia.

"I think we should drop the whole plan. It's really dark and creepy during the night," Suggested Livia while she removes her brown hair which was blocking her view.

"I agree," Clare whispered and still everyone heard her. She knew that nothing good can ever come out when they were all together.

"Something awful was going to happen." Her feelings shouted inside her, yet she resisted it. 

"Something awful was going to happen again." This feeling shouted a little than before. Without even realizing it, Clare shivering as if snow were to fall about.

"Stop shivering Clara. What are you actually scared of? We only have to spend one night! What can happen in just one night?" Taunted Jewel, who'd given them the dare. He swallowed the lump formed inside his neck. No matter how it the place freaked him out, he stood like it didn't bother. 

Jewel put his arms around Clare and assured her to calm down, but him coming near her, scared her even more.

"Stop ruining the mood already! Anyway, there can't be anything which can be scarier than the ladies here. " Growled Jinn, a bit annoyed at how Jewel was making moves on his crush. 

Jinn's sentence annoyed all the three ladies. Livia only shot him an angry and again retrieve her eyes back her boyfriend. Luna wasn't someone who let people to insult her. She gave him a strong punch on his shoulder and Clare stood behind her telling Luna to beat jinn a little more.

"No! Not my face, you don't understand how precious it is." At Jinn's word Luna acted as she was going to puke. "No wonder you both are still single. You don't how to appreciate the beauty of this face." Jinn continued, his eyes again fixed on Clara.

"Disgusting bardard. Don't you dare look at me with those disgusting eyes," Clare shouted inside her mind. She wanted to say it out loud, but the fear what happened last Halloween stopped her. As she never wants to end up like her.

It was a Halloween with such a memory that Clare could never forget even if she died. She was only here because Alex was here. 

"C'mon guys, let's just go in. It's perfect for Halloween," Said Alex and pushed Lumi and Clara forward.

Alex was the one whom Clare liked, but he wasn't interested in dating or girls in particular. Alex and Dinner were cousins, but in personality they stood at different poles.

Alex was hard-working, sweet and gentle, on the other hand Jinn was a playboy, rude and arrogant. 

Clara gathered her courage slowly entered the gate and walked up to the front door of the house and was followed by the others.

She muttered inside her mind, "I have to listen to them or else I might end up just like her."

Her mind repetitively thought about the last Halloween. The thought has always haunted Clare, but being a coward, she stood behind. She ignored everything and tried every means to forget it.

All the seven friends, not knowing what fate awaits them inside, also entered the house.

They decided to take the back room to stay. As they make their way to the back room, Clara was so deep inside her thoughts that she didn't even realize that she was left behind.

"I would have saved her..."

"But I..."

"Let her die, because I was so scared."

"Who will be their target this time?" Her train of thought came to a station when someone approached her.

"Hey dummy! Must be nice to be all alone." Jinn shouted into her ears almost making her fall down. 

Clare got scared, but she maintains her expression. Then only she realized that everyone was already and she was alone with the person she hates the most. 

"Um, I'm sorry." And saying that, she started heading towards the back room to the left. She just quickly wanted to go away from Jinn because when he gets the chance always tried to touch Clara.

It disgusted Clara. She couldn't believe that she also helped them. She also hid everything. She now regretted for not informing the police, but if she had done it. Then Alex would be in a jail.

Jinn put his hands around Clara's waist and brought her closer to his body. Clare was shocked and scared at the same time. She doesn't wanted to be raped by him. She looked at him with fear in her eyes.

"Not there, you fool! They're in the right. Ah! Ugly people like you shouldn't fool around in this kind of place." He cussed at her.

She muttered a, "sorry-" again and almost ran towards the back room.

"She is always such a burden! If only she was as hot as her. It would have been a blast again this Halloween." Jinn thought in his mind.

"Yet, why the hell do I still like her so much? From the moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew she liked my brother yet I just can't lose you."

Jinn, occupied with his thoughts, did not realise that he took the wrong way.

Clare reached the others, but they all seemed too busy chatting lost in their world. The smiles, giggles and laughter all made my heart shrink in a stone. 

Clare with hate in her eyes look at cheerful crowd. Her train of thoughts again took a run.

"They didn't even notice that I was gone. Even Alex didn't notice it."

"Why would they?"

"They aren't even my friends"

Tears started to roll down her checks which immediately wiped off. Clara was only close to her. Only if she was alive Clare don't have to be alone.

Clare had only one wish. Only one wish. 

And that wish was that everyone here dies for killing her best friend. Clare took a deep breath and sat on a chair a little further than them.

"This room isn't that bad. I wonder what the other rooms are like!" Said Max, as a lover of horror films and places. He was very excited. He finds amusement in fear and dark place.

"Then let's go and check them out." Suggested Alex though he wasn't very fond of horror place, but he found it interesting to discover more of the horror. 

This was an abandoned house and the owner ran away to another country because he thought the house was haunted. There were a few rumours which only Alex and Lumi knew about. They hid it because they didn't want to scare anyone and they believe that it was only a rumour. 

"Are you people crazy? It might be dangerous." Lumi argued when she suddenly remembered the rumour. If the rumour was true, then according to it, ten people's dead body was found here. How they died? And why they died? Was still a mystery. 

"So, you guys are gonna stick together like a bunch of cry babies? Then, go ahead." Jewel scolded them who wanted to scare the hell out of them. It was a dare and he didn't plan on losing it.

"Let's just take separate rooms." Clara recommended. She felt suffocating to stay in the same room as them. It was weird for Clare. Till now she never felt this way, but something was weird this time.

"Wow! When did she become this brave? Right, Jinn?" Joked Alex pointing his finger at Clare, but then the annoying voice of Dinner wasn't heard by anyone.

"Now that you mentioned him, where is that idiot?" Grumbled Max.

"He would probably be goofing off somewhere." Scoffed Livia, she annoyed that they all wanted to stay in this abandoned house other than the luxury hotel in the city.

"It's kinda dangerous. We should look for him." Lumi advised with worried look.

"Fine." They all agreed.

Clara, Livia and Max went upstairs and the others kept looking inside random rooms in the hallway.

THUD! THUD! THUD! 

Something fell and there came a scream like someone was being murdered. The horrible continue for a moment and then everything became silent.

It was Jinn's voice.
