the cold wind blew through the foxes fur. she held her kit in her mouth tightly as it squeaked. she essentially giving up. she was not losing any of her kids. she wouldn't alow it.

On the very top of snowy’peak, she felt a chill shivered down her back as the tall, slim figure approached, “please, don't.. do this…” the Arctic wolf stood before her, the kit behind her. “Give us a chance.. Or if anything, her” he stepped closer, and closer.

“Kill me, not her.” she pleaded.

crack!

There was a momentary scream.  The pup looked down, she was hanging from a tree root. “Just go, I'll be alright, go. Go on”

“Grrr, useless, i'll just finish her myself” she heard him think while he walked towards her. His fur brushed along hers, he then snapped the root, she fell down, “run…”  was the last thing she heard from her mother

Then she heard another voice… far away. it was faint. but still audible

'Beware, the Moon, the one you know

He wishes you gone, buried in snow

Beware, the white covered in red

Who makes you afraid to go back to bed

In the darkest hour you will wake

wherever the land begins to shake

then you know what the sight is for

Now do your job, and horror no more

“AH!” Fasha woke from her slumber “just a dream…” she noted that Moon was behind her. “Haha, scaredy cat, afraid of her own past. As much as I hate cats, she is the worst one”  Fasha frowned at Moon “I HEARD THAT!” she growled 

Moon didn't have any powers, so he says. Fasha could tell that he was hiding something, something that could be dangerous, more dangerous than mindsight, or futertelling or… well any kind of power. She felt another shiver. “I should talk to Nula, she would know”

“I saw you coming, Fasha.” she overheard Nula mutter. “I need to speak to you, about.. Moon” Nula stood up, licking her paw, “i smell.. You're worried… about Moon, he might be dangerous.” there was silence and then a long exhale and… whispering? Then came out a puppy, she had on a blue collar, unlike moon and fasha, she was tamed by a furless. she looked like a cross breed of german shepherd and siberian husky, “come to think about it, she do kinda have an accent”  fasha thought, forgetting she could be heard.

“Yes, I'm well, you know.” she noticed the furless besides her, it was petting her and speaking gibberish, “can she understand it?” nula nodded, as if she read her mind.. “Oh wait, she did” there must be something wrong, Moon was acting so weird lately, “i know how you feel fasha” Nula barked “which is why i must tell you… he is what you think..”

No… he can't be…

“But he is” Nula howled, grabbing the furlesses attention, “he's working with White`Claw, im, sorry”

She handed her an anklet, “were this,” it was shining pink, with yellow glowing spirals. “With this, i can talk to you, even from long distances,” she put it on and walked out the room, bumping into Moon

“Oh.. it's you?” he snarled “what are you doing here?” “ugh, that idiotic mutt, i whish i could-” he stopped thinking when he noticed fashas dazed-out gaze. “Hello?” fasha came back to her senses

“i was just leaving.. Bye” he growled. “What's the rush? Huh?”  Then she heard a voice.. Nulas voice “make up a lie, tell him that..” she paused. Fasha guessed she had to think “you're hungry, so you're going to the cafe” “we have a cafe?” Fasha hesitated, “I'm hungry, so I'm going to the cafe.” 

“Oh..” Moon paused a while “alright then… enjoy your snack…” then both Nula and Fasha heard him mumble “this may be your last one”

“Nula… what was that? I'm not hungry. I just ate”  Fasha whispered when Moon was gone.

“He is definitely planning something.. Must be part of White`Claw’s plan, to use him” Fasha sighed, then she heard something, it sounded like talking… who was it. Fasha stood in a battle ready pose

“Yo Fasha! Nice bracelet” it was Max, Dawn's furless, he was the only one who could speak lupian. And beside him.. “DAWN!” Fasha ran up to her, her face beaming “you're better! And alive!”

“Yes, bear-ly” she laughed “get it because i was attacked by a bear..” “No funny Dawn, you could have died from that…. But, if i was a NON-INJURED BEAR, then tecnaly the joke would have since, but i is not making a joke based on that any more”

 “well forget that '' she pat fasha on the head like she was her furless. “Wheres Moon?”

“Should I tell her that Moon is acting suspicious?” Fasha asked Nula “if you want, there's a chance she would believe and join you or not believe and reject you… also, she's a target” “oh my bones!” she said allowed. Dawn tilted her head and Max made a strange noise with his muzzle.

”I'm sorry.. Just thinking.. About… where Moon could be.” “lamest excuse ever..” Nula complained  “you could think better, i know, but not in a situation like this, just tell her what we know, well Max too” Fasha inhaled deeply “Moon is working for White`Claw, we must stop hm,”

Dawn laughed, White`Claw? That ol skinny wolf? Why would Moon want work with him? It's not like “wolfs” are the best species I mean, pfttt! We are the best!” “in your dreams… literally” Nula complained. “You've seen what she dreams? Wow, you are strong!” “she dreams about being on the throne, queen of the carnoverains.. Pfft, like that's going to happen!” “quit gossiping and help me!” Fasha whispered loudly “we need to stop White`Claw and you're talking about Dawn's dreams!”

Nula went quiet “but it's true!” Fasha growled. “how?” chattered Max who managed to be quiet for a while now “tell us, i want to know!” “promise them they will help you find out if it's true, and if they agree, then you tell them, and don't worry about a lie detector, you have one” “well, ok” Fasha whispered. “Will you come? If you do i will tell you how i know, if not, i will refuse” they all agreed, Fasha scanned their minds. “Thanks..i also have to tell you-” Fasha sighed “maybe later, but will you help?”

“Waste of time,” Nula complained. “Let's just go ahead and find White`Claw and convince him to stop using Moon…”  she paused. “Why are you quiet all of a sudden?” asked Fasha  “I get it, it's not Moon, it's White`Claw, he's controlling Moon '' Fasha gasped “you mean.. He is possessed? My brother?!” there was a pause

“im afraid so.. I'm so sorry” 

“WELL DON'T BE, I  have a plan, and i'm going to need everyone for it to go right, including you Nula!” Nula laughed “if you say so? i'm on my way” and i just a few seconds Nula was gone, but the anklet was still on “Thank you..” she whispered

“MOON! Or should I say WHITE`CLAW!!”

Moon's body jumped “you've finally realized” White`Claw said in his own voice. Fasha growled “what HAVE YOU'VE DONE TO MY BROTHER?” All White`Claw did was laugh, then revealed a globe that had the real Moon inside. “Help! Fasha!! HELP!” 

“We won't let you get away with this!” Fasha stomped her paw as White`Claw laughed “you and what army??”

“WE ARE THE ARMY” said a trio of voices, it was Dawn, Max and… Nula! Nula growled “get ready to feel my FuRy!!” White`Claw just chucked, “you? A little pup?” Nula frowned “AVA SAYS: I'M LITTLE WITH THE PAWS OF THE LION. And I believe her” White`Claw tried to cover his laugh “try me.” Nula smiled, “sure” and he attacked, she missed every move

“Aaah! Stupid ‘’Sight-Seers’’ White`Claw growled.

There was a noise, like yelling. “Ava!” Nula barked. The furless had a spear and a large cave, and yelled something like: “pegue esse lobo!!” Whatever that meant, she bonked White`Claw on Moon's head. “That's going to hurt in the morning..” He mumbled, waking up to his own body

The sun was setting over the horizon,the new team walked down the mountain into the main lands of carnovera, everyone was chatting happily, another job done

“Great work guys!” Max said, patting them all and picking up Nula as he turned over to Ava “ Ava, e você, você foi, incrível! Quer se juntar ao time?” Ava laughed happily

“What did you say to her?” Moon asked. “Well, I asked her if she wanted to join our team, and she accepted!”

“Great! Dawn yapped, and we even have a translator!”

“Well I'll teach her lupian. And I see your cast is off!” Max gasped. “Oh, didn't notice, must have fall off,” Dawn giggled. “Well, we are glad you're alright” fasha said in a rush “also, i must tell you, i have.. mindsight, that's how i knew something was wrong with Moon”

“I wasn't even in this body” Moon reminded “thanks for telling us through fasha”

“How did he even do that?” questioned Nula, everyone shrugged

“Hey Fasha, Moon, wanna race?” asked Max

“Sure!” They both answered. “And me! Me!!” Nula barked, “The last one there is a dead White`Claw!!”

They all laughed as they all ran towards the horizon.

Fasha has always been different, as if the world was just fine without her. She saw more than you could think, and if she would answer a question that was in one's head, they would probably freak out, and run away.

Not Moon, Nula, Max or Dawn. they would just look at her in surprise, as if they never knew she could do such a thing and reply with:  “yes, i knew that..”

Fasha flopped down on the Maxs pillow, she closed her eyes a little bit, waking up to Ava, standing over her head. “Yikes!” Fasha yelped. “Is it working, I can't tell if she screamed or if that was a bark, can she understand me? Even in my thoughts?” it couldn't be, AVA? Of all furless, was she finally speaking lupian?

“FASHA! SPEAK!” she picked her up, yep, she was speaking lupian. “So, you finally learned.” she finally replied

“You're talking to me and I'm talking to you, and we can understand each other so…” she took a while at the last word, as if trying to remember the pronunciation “yes, i guess?”

“Did you see a scroll?” Ava questioned. Fashas heart started racing. “A scroll, what did it say?”

“Some kind of pome?” replied Ava, “it was in lupian, i couldn't read it, and i still can't read it, only speak” Fasha nodded for more information “and it said.. According to Dawn” she paused trying to remember. “I know what it is!” Fasha said, darting out the room

“Oof!”

Then came a noise

“OW!! STOP!!!”

Fasha  crept over to the source of the noise jolting back behind the wall when she saw, another colie, he was brown and white, same pattern as Moon but with a little bit of spots, and some merle, he was on the wall. And a large skinny cat was torturing him. “HEY,GO AWAY!!” Fasha thought about helping him, and kept refusing, then she heard him think: “i can't go on… i will die… someone help… i hate this cat…” he was very bloody, and as Fasha could tell, he really wanted to get free.

On the other paw, the cat refused to let him go, he liked torturing him and he will not stop it untill he dies, and whoever tries to free him, he will have them join “the fun”.

“I see you…” Fasha started to panic, “he knows i'm here?” “yes” “well, you don't scare me!!” she blurted, grabbing the cat's outer attention “i know what you're doing to him!” the cat laughed “and i know what you are up to… trying to take my new punching bag?” he laughed “sorry pup, that's not how we run around here” his claws unraveled “here, we fight for what we want.. Fasha? Isn't it?” 

“Go ahead and just run, I'll be fine!”  the collie thought,  Fasha shook her head as the cat did a nasty glare at the both of them. Bearing her teeth, Fasha leaped forward towards the cat, landing on it, he hissed and swiped at Fashas face, she nearly missed. “Give up, young one.. You can't beat me.. You never did, or could”  he pushed her off, she landed into the wall, weak, and falling unconscious, she replied “who..are..you…?”

She woke up, at the top of snowy’peak, the carnoverain besides her, still unconscious, but alive. “How did he get in my head like that..” she looked at the anklet Nula gave her. “Nula said that with this, we could talk to each other, but she seems to be offline” she taped it “not to mention.. I'm Malaise.. Must be the cold… how long was I out here… and where is home?”  

The other one woke up, shaking the snow off his fur, his hazel eyes gleaming, he growled softly at Fasha: “like my life wasn't bad enough, you had to make-it w-worse” the cold air make him stutter, or was the really how he talked? Fasha exhaled deeply, her hot breath turning into cold fog. “Im sorry, i just wanted to help you” Fasha noticed the fire he started “well don't, i don't need any help… I am a loner, ok?”

“Lissen, i don't know your name, but you must trust me,” Fasha sighed “you can't do this alone”

“Yeah I can!!” he growled, his body seemed to change. “You're a shifter?” he growled slowly, changing back, “yes, i'm a shifter, mystical shifter” the type of shifter that shifts into mythical creatures, “and i must admit, how did you know i hated that.. Monster”  Fasha hesitated and bragged “MindSight, but don't worry i'm not anything like him”

“Oh, I know,” he informed, “Hero, you?” Fasha smiled “Fasha” he looked in the darkness as if trying to recall something and then seems to snap back to his senses “nice to meet you..” he smiled, as if she was someone he knew, he then clapped his paws together creating a flame and sat it on some stick’s he had been collecting, the fire transferred from his paws to the sticks

“You rest, ill guard” he said looking at Fasha, “we're going on a trip tomorrow.” Fasha wanted to refuse but all she could say was, “arnt you going to sleep?” Hero shook his head “I don't want White`Claw to kill you… like he did to your-” he paused. “My mother..” Fasha said, taking the rest of the sentence out of his head, “no one knows about her death except me, Moon and… my father.. How do you know about it??” 

“Moon is alive?!” Hero gasped, ignoring her concern “where is he?” Fasha tilted her head “back in Lupaina, me, him and some friends decided to settle there, we could head there tomorrow, if you wish” Hero laughed “your wish is my command” he pat her “now, go to sleep, for real” he smiled and thought carefully “thank you.. Fasha”

The next SunUp was exciting for both of them, Fasha couldn't wait to show her friends someone new, she couldn't tell what Hero was up to, but she was happy he agreed to come along. “Down there, is the village of Lupaina, comeon!” Hero laughed in a “ok ok, i'm coming!” at this rate they would be back by CenterSun

When they finally made it to the cave Ava greeted them, “hello! Fasha. Where have you've been? Oh! And who's this!?” Hero growled softly “don't worry, they are with us, this is Ava, and that's Max.” she pointed to Ava, and then Max, who was walking out to see what was going on. “I knew that..” Hero sighed, “I was testing their defenses.” Ava laughed “oh we got defenses alright, Furless technology” she pointed to a couple of weapons she and Max made “we only use them for hunting and things like fighting White`Claw” Hero shivered at the word White`Claw “good”

“Come in, come in!” Max offered. Ava stroked the Fur at the top of her head. And inside was Moon, Dawn, and Nula. “Guys, this is Hero, and these are my friends, and Moon” Moon stood in shock, “Fasha? Do you know who this is?” Fasha shrugged “he said his name was Hero?” Moon laughed “Fasha, sis, this is our father!” Fasha gasped “is that true, is that why you were so protective” Hero sighed. “I knew once I reunited with Moon I was going to have to tell you..” he paused “yes fasha.. I am your father”

Fasha was in toldal shock “Hero- i mean dad.. Why didn't you..”  she quit speaking and embraced him, crying “they say that.. Once Fasha mother died, you burn yourself with fire”  Dawn cut in.

“No!” Hero spat, he patted Fasha and Moon “i would never, besides, i have other family to remind me of her” he nuzzled fasha, “the way you saved me, from White`Claw was historically brave!” Fasha gasped again, “that was him? The cat??” he really did have a habit of processing innocent creatures “i'm just glad that we are all safe.”

“Me too” Moon almost whispered...

sometime went by. It was almost SunFall, Fasha, Moon and Hero were sitting in front of the cave.

“If you really didn't burn yourself, then how did you cope?” asked Fasha. her gray-silver fur was shining in the sun's light

“Well, I tried to calm myself down, and when I saw this scroll, I was reading it.” Hero admitted

“And i noticed you, younger you, you were crying” Moon added

“I went over to calm you but.. You were gone,i thought White`Claw had captured you… so i sent Moon to find you”

“When i did find you, Dad was gone” Moon sighed

“And that's when we went to Lupaina?” Fasha guessed

“Yep.” Moon answered “i was hoping we could find him there”

Fasha laughed “but I found him in the BlackCave…”

“Ok you two settle down” Hero asked

“I'm not a puppy!” Fasha joked “but.. Sure”
