It is 2 weeks after the conquest of the world by Ainz and Nazarick's troops. Ainz was very depressed because despite conquering the world, he had not found his friends.

"Lord Ainz? Lady Albedo requests an audience" said a female voice from behind the doors of Lord Ainz's office. 

"Let her in" said Ainz and the door opened slowly and carefully. Albedo stepped closer to Lord Ainz's table and greeted him with a sweet tone in her voice. Ainz greeted her back and asked why she was visiting him. Albedo replied,

"Demiurge has found a library with countless books about the new world in the former theocracy of Slane, I just came to tell you about it."

You couldn't tell by looking at him, but he was very happy, because he still didn't know how and why he had come to the new world.

"I'm going to take a closer look at this library" Ainz said in an authoritative voice and teleported to the sixth level of the tomb to lead Mare into the library. Mare agreed and the two of them walked into the former theocracy of Slane.

When they got there, Demiurge greeted them formally and Ainz greeted back and asked

"So Demiurge, where is this library?" Demiurge replied, "I will show you the way, follow me my lord..."

"Thank you." Ainz replied and went inside. Mare was reading books about magic, but after a while they didn't interest him anymore because they only contained magic of levels 1-5. Ainz on the other hand, read books about the history of the new world and tried to find the connections to Yggdrasil.

After some time, Ainz found two excellent books. One was called "The Origin of the Gods" and the other was called "To my dear friend."

First he read "The Origin of the Gods" which told him everything about why, how and when the Yggdrasil players came to the New World and which players came. About how the players came to the New World. The story begins as follows......

"The Dragon Lords were always there, they were always strong, but one stood above all these Dragon Lords. He was called 'the Dragon Emperor'. The Dragon Emperor had many abilities that we don't know to this day, except for two, with the first one he saw into other worlds that existed in this universe on this Realm. That is How he found out about.... The world items world. He wanted them so much that he used almost all his magic power to summon them from the other world ' Yggdrasil ' , which is the second ability we know about. ....... Partially he succeeded, unfortunately only so that every 100 years only one or a few world objects can be summoned. This is also how the Gods and the Greedy Kings came here to our world, they were beings that were near the items when these items were summoned."

Ainz jumped up and shouted, "WHAT!!!!????" Mare quickly ran to Ainz and asked what happened, Ainz said it was nothing and  Continued reading....

"Since he summoned these items, the Dragon Emperor has not been seen, but we know it is true because his son, the dragon Lord Tsaindorcus Vaision, was there and told us everything."

Ainz kept turning the pages, but the rest were just white leaves. But Ainz was not disappointed, because he got what he wanted to know, and then he opened the second book. "To my dear friend."

When Ainz opened the book, he immediately noticed something. There was an author in Japanese on the first page of the book and the name was "Kentaro ito" Ainz pondered and pondered. And then he remembered. It was Luci Fer from his old guild. He was very happy because it meant that he might find one of his old friends......But unfortunately this joy did not last long and he began to read.....

"Hello." Luci Fer wrote in Japanese. "I am writing this book because I know that one of my friends will read this, so I am writing in Japanese. I would like to tell you about the world in which we and everything else exist, we live in the realm which Contains Dimensionality and Reality. The world we lived in and the new world are here together in this realm. This is the reason why the Dragon Emperor could first discover and then summon the World items because the game Yggdrasil is Part of Our world its Part of This realm. But this is not all, I found out that there are infinitely more realms, Uncountably Infinite above this one you might be asking yourself how i know this. I know this because ....... told me ". Ainz read this sentence again... "I know it because ........ told me."

Ainz didn't understand what was going on. He saw that there were letters but it seemed as if he would forget the name right after reading it. He tried four more times, but then he just kept reading. "...... has also come to this world..."

  "so he is also from Yggdrasil" thought Ainz and Continued reading. "But I'm rambling, I don't have much time left, so I'll be brief. YOU MUST FIND ........ and defeat whoever it is ...... Told me about whoever of my old friends is reading this you MUST also be aware of the 'Guardian snails' whom he also told me about...they seem dangerous, ....... lives somewhere in this realm." 

There the book ended and Ainz wondered and Thoughts gone Through his head "Higher dimensions? Is that even possible? Higher realms than a realm with uncountably infinite levels of dimensions? That is logically not possible at all."

《But it is true.》 Said a rough and old sounding voice in Ainz's head. Ainz jumped up but remained silent, not wanting Mare or Demiurge to see him as shocked as he was. "Who are you?" Ainz asked in his head trying not to sound impressed. 《You know who I am, you've read a book in which I play a big part.》

Ainz immediately thought of the one whose name he immediately forgot. But the voice said 《no, I mean the book before that》. And then it rang in Ainz's head "the dragon Keiser" he said a bit scared. 《Exactly》 he answered.Ainz asked what he wanted from him. But the emperor did not answer as expected.

The emperor said 《I want to talk to you personally and answer all your questions, because I also want you to defeat it》. "Who?" Asked Ainz. But the dragon emperor only answered with his current location 《Come to the Rube Kingdom under Salafam Mountain is where I am.》

Ainz asked again who is meant by it but no answer came. Ainz took mare and headed back, back in Nazarick he took Rubedo and headed to the Rube Kingdom. Once there, he went to Mount Salafam and used a level 10 spell to get under the mountain.

There he met him...........the dragon emperor. But he was not as Ainz expected him, majestic or strong....no he looked old but wise.

" Hello " said the old dragon and Ainz replied with " what do you want to tell me?" The dragon laughed softly and said " how rude but well, as you know I have sacrificed almost all my magic for the world items, but I did not summon any items but a creature you are probably familiar with 'Devourer of the nine worlds' the endboss Yggdrasils."

Ainz was very shocked to hear this information and became frightened. The dragon continued, "The Devourer of the Nine Worlds was the one who summoned the world items and their owners if they were near, but he did it in such a way that every 100 years one guild Plus world items could come. He was an Npc but as you know they get a mind as soon as they enter this world but I wander off, he started to explore the world and I thought nothing of it until one day I noticed how he was getting stronger every second stronger, I used my last wild magic to investigate it and found out how he met with a being this being put his hand on the head of the world devourer and then I noticed how he became infinitely stronger every second But then all my Wild magic was used up. But I saw him moving through the dimensions, rising higher and higher in this infinite hierarchy of dimensions and so on until he reached the top of the hierarchy of this realm......

I know that because after I used up my wild magic I got a world item that you can only use once called the

'all knowing book' this book gave me all the knowledge about the here and now I know everything that is happening right now in this realm but unfortunately I can't go beyond these limits. Ainz asked him what he wanted from him now... and the dragon answered with " meet ......." ainz asked again for the name and the dragon answered "don't worry this is just a world item that erases the memory of the user for unfamiliar ones as long as ......... trusts you, you wont Forget."

Ainz agreed and the dragon told him the whereabouts of the person and ainz set off, as this person is as expected relatively paranoid so he was only allowed to go there alone, Ainz nevertheless agreed and sent Rubedo back to Nazarick and set off to the forgotten land of azhiel.

Ainz did not know where or what this Forgotten Land of Azhiel was, he had not heard or read this name from the inhabitants of this world or in the books of the library in Slane. But the dragon emperor explained to him that it was a land older than mankind itself and a land that had fallen before mankind.

The forgotten land of the Dragon Lords, Azhiel. So when Ainz arrived where the dragon sent him, unaccompanied and without magic items besides his orb and robe. All he saw there was a building, a building with a door too small for a dragon and too big for a human.

When he knocked, a being he never expected, a small fairy, opened the door. This fairy opened the door and Ainz wondered how a small fairy could open such a large and heavy door, but these thoughts quickly disappeared. With a simple "hello" the fairy greeted him and Ainz greeted with a "I am looking for Usami Haou."

Ainz was confused, this was the name he always forgot. The fairy replied with "that's me, come in Momonga or Suzuki Satoru or maybe Qinz?" Ainz got even more confused "how do you know all my real names?" Ainz asked.

The fairy answered with "I'll answer your questions inside Come in now". Ainz sat down on a somewhat run down armchair. Ainz started asking questions, "Why don't I forget anything now? How do you know my real name? Who are you anyway? And who is it that I am supposed to defeat?"

The fairy answered with "One thing at a time please.." Ainz waited a few seconds to come down and then asked again the questions.

"Why don't I forget anything now..?"

"Didn't the old dragon tell you?" Asked the fairy. Ainz thought back to his conversation with the dragon and remembered why he always forgot and how it would stop.

Then he asked the fairy "why do you trust me after such a short time? And she answered "because you came unaccompanied and without magic objects."

Ainz then asked his second question "how do you know my real names?" The fairy laughed and then answered the question with "Because the voice of the world told me." "Voice of the world?" Asked ainz. "Yes" said the little fairy.

"The voice of the world gives me all the information I want, if it wants to Give me the Informatios."

Ainz did not quite understand. But then he asked the next question "Who are you anyway?"

"I am the one who delivers the messages that the voice of the world gives me." Ainz asked, "Where is this voice of the world?"

The fairy Said "Everywhere and nowhere at the same time."

Ainz didn't understand this either, and the fairy said, "You may not understand now, but you will in the future." Ainz nodded his head, although he didn't quite follow the fairy.

Ainz then asked who it was the fairy Luci Fer said Ainz had to defeat. The fairy answered with "you already know who it is, the Devourer of the Nine Worlds, even if he isn't that anymore."

Ainz asked what the fairy meant by that. And the answer he got was "do you know that the world item that the dragon used to watch the Devourer of the Worlds had several limits?" Ainz answered "yes" because the dragon told him so, and he also answered what the limits were, "the world item cannot grant omniscience over the past nor the future, only over the present, and its range is only in this realm.

The fairy sighed and said, "It is also that he isn't aware of what happens outside of reality. Actually the effect of this book was only for one hour, but in combination with a body that is actually made for very large amounts of wild magic, and still has traces of it in him, that made this effect probably unlimited and also improved it, because actually the ability of the world item was to give you information about every boss and all the abilities that exist in the game, as well as information about all the items in the game, but this was probably also improved by the body of the old dragon, but well let me tell you what happened after the dragon could no longer follow him."

Back in Nazarick, Rubedo had just returned when Albedo and Shalltear directly bombarded her with the question where Lord Ainz was now. Rubedo was not very talkative and answered briefly and simply with "in the forgotten land of Azhiel."

Albedo and Shalltear were confused because they had never heard of this land before. When they asked what kind of land it was Rubedo replied "Lord Ainz told me not to tell anyone" Albedo and Shalltear asked why not and Rubedo simply said "because he was supposed to go there unaccompanied and you would go there if I gave you the location."

Rubedo then went to her room and closed the door. Albedo and Shalltear were angry that Rubedo did not tell them the location. When Mare and Aura arrived they listened a bit to what Rubedo said. Aura agreed with Rubedo saying "Rubedo is right and you know it."

Shalltear and Aura argued as they always do and Albedo understood and her anger disappeared, but concern arose.

Back at the conversation between Ainz and the fairy, the fairy said to Ainz "the old dragon told you that the Devourer met with a creature..."

Ainz interrupted the fairy with the question "do you know which creature it was, or does the voice of the world know it?"

The fairy sighed and said "no the voice won't or maybe can't tell me but it Knows it, but back to the subject, this being put his hand on the head of the devourer which gave him an ability, this ability allowed him to transcend himself every moment, every second, every millisecond, completely and infinitely.

With this ability he climbed higher and higher in the dimensions, in this infinitely layered hierarchy of dimensions...

One day, he reached the top of this hierarchy. Or so the dragon thought, you see, in an instant he transcended dimensionality itself, but in the same moment he transcended reality. Therefore, the dragon thought that he was still at the top of the hierarchy, because he could not see any changes. But he had crossed this hierarchy, but not only the hierarchy. NO, EVEN REALITY WAS NOT A BOUNDARY THAT COULD HOLD HIM. And yet even if reality could not hold him.........he still could not ascend to the Next Realm....."

Ainz looked at the fairy very confused. When the fairy noticed this, she asked him what was so confusing, and Ainz asked, "Why couldn't he ascend to the next realm?"

The fairy looked at him with a look that said "are you stupid?" And then the fairy asked "didn't you read Luci fers book?" Ainz answered with "yes I have" the fairy got confused and asked Ainz "how do you think the realms are built? And Ainz said "well Luci Fer said there are Uncountably infinite above us " the fairy said "that's correct and?"

And Ainz continued "well and I thought they were built like in Yggdrasil, only with infinite ones" the fairy asked impatiently..."And what would that be like?"

Ainz looked him in the eye but then straight back down and said "In Yggdrasil you can switch between realms, they are all different but still equal."

The fairy told Ainz to look him in the eye, Ainz did so and the fairy said with wide open eyes

"there are NO equal realms, only above or below, higher or lower. EACH REALM COMPLEATLY EXCEEDS AND CONCEPTUALY TRANSCENDS THE ONE BEFORE IT."

The fairy took a deep breath in and out and apologized for being loud "I just don't like it when people don't understand what I'm saying" the fairy said and Ainz replied "I often don't understand something, even when Demiurge explains it to me I'm often lost, maybe being a little louder will help me out a bit."

Ainz then asked the fairy how he should defeat such a creature. The fairy answered with "the voice of the world does not tell me that."

Then he asked if he was going to defeat him at all and the fairy asked the voice of the world, which did not answer at all, so the fairy said to Ainz "it doesn't tell me that either, all it tells me is that you and he are going to fight Him."

"Where is he?" asked Ainz, and the fairy told him that he had already asked the voice of the world, and the voice said that he would come to Ainz, not Ainz to him. So the fairy sent Ainz back to Nazarick.

In Nazarick, Albedo asked Ainz directly what happened and Ainz ordered her to bring all the NPC's with a Mind to the sixth level. This Albedo did and Ainz explained everything to them and warned them about the devourer and time passed and passed....

"Lord Ainz?" Said Cocytus. "What is it?" Asked Ainz in response. "The former emperor of Baharuth is here and asks for an audience."

Ainz allowed him in and the former emperor greeted Ainz and Ainz greeted him back and asked what the reason for the visit was."Isn't it okey to visit a friend?"

Said the emperor, but Ainz did not believe him. Ainz asked again what the reason for the visit was. The emperor was desperate because he had already lost to Ainz. Which is why he didn't hesitate and used a Level 7 Holy Spell, which normally only drains Hp from the user, but takes the life of the weak of this world, at least not to go down without a fight.

But one of the battle maids killed him before the spell took effect." What a desperate man he was," said Ainz, and the battle maiden, whose name was Yuri Alpha, said "how true your words are."

Two years passed and everyone started to forget Ainz's warning, in the last two years Ainz gone three more times to the forgotten Azhiel kingdom but the fairy was no longer there.

But he didn't care because he and Nazarick started to believe that the fairy was lying. And then they began to forget. Life in Nazarick went on......

One afternoon the whole Tomb shook. "What happened?!" Ainz asked Aura. Aura sighed and said, "Albedo and Shalltear have clashed again, but this time seriously." Ainz asked how it came about and Aura told him.

"Two hours ago they also had a fight, this one was about who should marry Lord Ainz."

Ainz looked sheepishly at the two of them again and then back at Aura and asked her to continue.

"But when Rubedo came and said he wouldn't marry either of them, Albedo started crying and Shalltear got mad at Rubedo. 20 minutes later Shalltear said the same thing to Albedo, I don't know why, maybe Rubedo told her and convinced her? But good. Albedo said nothing and went away and yes, an hour and 40 minutes later and we are here."

Ainz looked over at the two, somewhat confused and disappointed, and went to them, the two immediately stopped fighting. "Aura told me but why are you fighting?"

Albedo said what Aura had already said, that Shalltear said that Ainz would not marry anyone. Shalltear, however, said and swore that she would never say such a thing. And then all three understood, they knew who was behind it.

"Pandora's Actor!!!???"

Ainz, Shalltear and Albedo went to the treasury to confront Pandora's Actor.

Pandora's Actor greeted Ainz as Father and Albedo and Shalltear as Ladies. Albedo and Shalltear said very loudly and synchronously "why did you do that and what did it get you?"

Ainz told them to calm down a bit. Then Ainz asked Pandora's Actor the same question that Albedo and Shalltear asked. And Pandora's Actor answered with "I know all about my creator, I know you don't have a pen----mhhh.."

Ainz held his hand in front of his mouth and zapped him to the side. "Don't say that in front of them stupid" and then the system calmed him down again.

"Sorry father" replied Pandora's Actor and Ainz told him not to do that, to not tell any Npc anything that he didn't order. And he should not tell anyone that Ainz cannot have sexual intercourse.

Pandora's Actor agreed of course, Ainz is his creator after all. When Ainz came back to the two, they asked him what Pandora's Actor said, but Ainz only said "he will never do that again."

Albedo and Shalltear got excited and looked at Ainz sheepishly and asked again synchronously "Does that mean that you are going to marry someone after all?"

Ainz Looked at them But said nothing and the two took that as a yes, then Ainz wanted to say something but they didn't listen, Ainz was happy for 20 seconds.

He asked himself, "Normally I'm immediately stripped of all my feelings by the system, but this time it took a long time.......Well, it's better that way."

Ainz then went to his room to rest, when he then fell asleep. Which should not be possible because he is undead and the system therefore suppresses everything that is only for living.

He slept for 4 hours until he woke up to a very loud " LORD AINZ!!!" He looked up and saw Mare leaning over him.

"Hello mare, what are you doing here?" Ainz asked and Mare took his time answering but then he said "you didn't come when I called you telepathically, I got worried and came down."

Ainz was very happy and that for a long time again the system had a delay, but Ainz liked it. He brushed Mare's head and said "call all the Floor Guardians together and bite on Gargantua." Mare agreed and he called them all in.

Ainz explained everything to them, that he is a former human like all his friends, that he is changing but in his eyes not for the worse and in the end he said "And no matter what you think of me or my friends now, I still love my friends and I love you as if you were my children.

Ainz was expecting hate or disgust but he saw love, most of them were crying especially Mare, Albedo and Shalltear. Demiurge and Cocytus laughed and bowed, then they all bowed and Demiurge said "it doesn't matter, you are still the being that led our creators, no matter what you were before now you are who you are, our Lord. Nothing will change."

And then all said synchronously,

"We will always be on your side no matter what, We love you Oh our Lord and Master Ainz Ooal Gown."

Ainz fell into his throne and wept inwardly with joy and relief, but his body produced no tears. So he told the Guardians that he was crying inside and they all came and one by one embraced him, and this time the system did not suppress his feelings at all, this joy lasted for 3 hours until it disappeared like a normal one.....

But then suddenly everything shook. Then an npc came to Ainz's room and informed him about the situation "we are being attacked! Ainz asked from whom, but the npc did not know the answer.

Ainz went out of his room and asked Aureole Omega. She knew what was going on, "We are being attacked by a giant dragon-like monster."

Ainz asked how strong it was, and was told, "We need the guild weapon." Ainz didn't like using this weapon because if the guild weapon was destroyed, the guild would disband. And he didn't know what would happen if it was destroyed here.

But it looked like he had no choice. So he went with Aureole to get the guild weapon. Meanwhile the Floor Guardians and even the Area Guardians fight against the attacker. But everything seems useless.

Until Albedo had an idea "why don't we combine the effects of all the world items we have right now with my sister Rubedo who was born from a world item herself?"

They all agreed, since they could not have done anything else. And they all did it, giving their world items to Rubedo who combined these effects. Except for Albedos, because Albedo's world item doesn't really have a useful effect for that.

Her world item Ginnungagap can only change forms. But back to Rubedo's attack. She used the effects of all of them and combined them into one effect by using the effect of her skill Together (which is actually also a world item effect since she was born from one).

With this skill she can collect attacks from Vol allies and combine them into one this time she used it for this situation. When she performed the Combined Attack, it almost destroyed the space and time.

And yet........the attacker stood there, unharmed and unimpressed. When all hope was lost, Ainz came. With the guild weapon. The Guardians were relieved but only for a brief moment....They immediately began to worry, seeing that not even a combined attack of seven world items could harm him.

When Albedo told Ainz about it, only one being came to his mind that would be so powerful....and he asked "are you.........the Devourer of the Nine Worlds?" The attacker waited a few seconds before answering and he said, "I haven't heard that title in a long time........But yes, I am 'The Devourer of the Nine Worlds.....'

Ainz asked him why he was here.....and he replied with "to bring destruction, thus this is my task."

Ainz did not understand rightly but attacked him. He immediately used the spell "The Goal of all life is dead" and then "All Life shall die" after the waiting time was over.

And this, like the attack of Rubedo........, had no effect on him. Ainz looked very shocked and whispered :the Goal of All life is dead kills all living, does he have a resurrection item like Shalltear?"

The Devourer of the Nine Worlds said "no, I am an idea, a concept.... the concept of destruction.....how do you kill something that is Equal to the idea of death itself?"

Ainz was now even more shocked. The Devourer of the Nine Worlds then said, "But well, I've wasted a lot of time here, I have to do my job." And he looked at Ainz, who winced. Then he looked at the guild weapon and it broke.......Ainz, however, quickly understood what had happened.

The opponent was the destruction itself.....And the staff broke by the destruction itself. But Ainz his thoughts swung dierectly elsewhere. To his children, The npc's by the breaking of the guild weapon, The guild dissolves, The tomb fell in on itself And the npc's Are erased from existence......

Ainz looked over at Aura and Mare who were both crying sadly as they slowly dissolved.....He looked at Rubedo who showed no emotion which he expected.

He looked over at Demiurge and Cocytus who were kneeling and bowing.

And then he looked at Albedo and Shalltear who were still trying to run over to Ainz and Albedo managed to do it before she disintegrated because she had a bigger body and she kissed Ainz and said to him "I love you my Lord." And then she was erased too.

When the tomb collapsed and all the npcs were erased, Ainz was filled with rage and despair. Normally, the system would suppress these feelings.....but it did not. He began to hear a voice.

He heard the system working 《player's feelings cannot be suppressed. system fails.》

Ainz, who was a player, could not cross the boundaries of the system because he was a player bound by the system, but should he cross that system he could become something that creation had never seen.

His rage grew.....but not at the destroyer, it was his job after all....It was for the one who made the destroyer the destroyer.

《System fails completely, leaving player out of the system, former player is now no longer a player and not limited by the limits of the system, former player changes. Former Player is now "The Second Half."》

Ainz wondered to himself what this meant but he didn't care soon after. Ainz his body began to change and the Destroyer noticed it.

The Destroyer started to get scared and when Ainz finished his transformation, the Destroyer noticed something that he didn't like at all......he felt inferior.

Ainz looked like the Enbodyment of death......



but was already far beyond it. Also at the same moment that Ainz completed his transformation, he (The Distroyer) ran to the fourth dimension. He thought he would be safe there.......When he was in the fourth dimension he heard a voice behind him that said

"So this is the fourth dimension? The dimension of time?"

The Destroyer turned around and saw Ainz who had changed completely. But he was so scared that this time he didn't run into the fifth or sixth dimension, no. He thought all dimensions were unsafe.

He considered all dimensions unsafe and fled directly over Dimensionality and over Reality themselfs.

He was now above reality itself and Ainz was not there.......he thought he was safe but he saw the sky rip apart above him and Ainz came out..... Ainz said "Sorry I thought you were going to escape to the next realm but I forgot that you can't enter the next realm."

The Destroyer got angry....Ainz looked around and noticed something.....he asked the Destroyer "what is that?" The Destroyer answered "The place beyond Reality also called 'Place of Ideas.'" Ainz had asked but actually he was not interested. The Destroyer asked "what do you want to do now?" And Ainz answered "Destroy you, climb higher and higher until I find your creator."

The Destroyer was startled....and then began to laugh. Ainz asked with hatred in his voice "why are you laughing?" The Destroyer stopped laughing and looked deeply into Ainz's eyes and said with an emotionless look.

"Find him......but you will not defeat him. He the Creator of Creation.....Will NOT be defeated by a part of Creation wich is YOU!"

The Destroyer then transformed into a human dragon-like form.



"I will not win but I will defend my Creator!" Said the Destroyer and attacked Ainz.

But before he could land a hit, he fell to the ground. He did not understand what was happening but did not ask. "Why did you transform at all? You knew you couldn't win." Asked Ainz but Shortly after that a thought came to Ainz, the thought of the Npc's who would have done the same for him so he said to the Destroyer "you deserve my Respect......"

Then he slowly walked towards the Destroyer who was lying on the ground.. When Ainz reached him He heard Ainz voice saying  "Your oh so 'good' creator KILLED EVERYTHING I EVER NEEDED!!! And he will pay..I dont hate you so i will make it as painless as possible."

"What? I erased them" the Distroyer said. Ainz Answered "no he made you Erase them i can fell it. "Fell it?" The Destroyer thought but then he looked Ainz in the eyes and realised it.....

while being erased from existence and said as His last words to Ainz "as long as you cannot even defeat the Guardian you will not be able to defeat the Ruler."
