It was a summer morning, the morning that I was waiting for eagerly. It was the first day of highschool. I was looking so forward for this day that I couldn't even sleep properly.

"Mom? I'm ready, I'll head out to school now" I said. "Wait!" my mom shouted making me flustered. "Take some extra clothes with u, in case u need to shift" my mom said as she handed me a T-shirt with a pair of jeans. "Mom..." I said as I hugged her. After all, it wasn't like I was confident on first day of highschool. A reassuring hug was needed obviously. "Don't worry my dear, you'll be okay" my mom said as she smiled. Her smile is enough to make my day.

"Mom I'll head out now, I don't wanna be late on my first day of highschool" I said as I rushed out of the house.

"I wonder what will happen today....god..please I hope that I'll not get bullied" I mumbled to myself as I closed my eyes and intertwined my fingers. At that exact moment...

Bumps into someone "ouch look where you're going girl" he said as he rubbed his head. "Eh...pardon! bows I'm really really sorry" I said as I panicked. Honestly, I'm just a freaking mess when it comes to situations like these.

"Uh...no its not a big deal...really.." he said as he patted my head. And I noticed that his hand was really cold. "Um...hi, I'm Suzy, the eldest daughter of the Lee family, you?" I introduced myself but my introvert self decided to put an "um" in my sentence sigh.

Suddenly, his aura went dark. He seemed like an alpha who was looking for his prey. And just then, he started to drag me. "Wh-where are you dragging me to..let me go!" I pleaded. And that's when I realized that he was actually a VAMPIRE. He took me to a dark place and pinned me against the wall. "The eldest daughter of the Lee family huh?" he said, I could literally notice the evil intentions in his eyes. "L-let me go..." I pleaded again, but it was of no use. Instead he just threw himself over me and started sucking my blood, and oh boy did it hurt. "Mhm...ahhh that hurts..." I said as I cried. "No wonder you're so sweet~" he said as he licked the blood from my neck. "From now on, you are mine only mine, get that in your fucking brain" he shouted, but he had drank a lot of blood from my body which caused me to faint.

"Mmh....ah..wh-" I mumbled as I regained consciousness. "You're finally awake huh?" he said. "Who are you....and why did you bring me here....?" I asked as I sobbed, "Myself Max, but call me Master sharp gaze " O-ok...master

..." I stuttered. "From today, you are mine. And don't even think of running away from me" with that he slammed the door and went away

I just sat there and sobbed, I was helpless. Even if I tell my dad about this incident he wouldn't do anything, because when Max and I were born, the pack council made a decision. And the decision was that, when we grow up we have to marry each other, so we are mates in a way. But he doesn't love me, nor do I.

After the death of the pack council, my dad is the current leader of our pack. And he isn't really serious about this, he gave me the permission to date any guy that I like, but I would've to end up with max eventually.

But max, who is a vampire, he just wants my blood. And max isn't some ordinary vampire, he's a crossbreed. His mom was a vampire while his dad was an alpha. So he can shift as well, but he likes to stay in his vampire form more.

Suddenly, the door opened leaving me flustered. "Hey, are you alright?" he said. "Eason...." I said as I continued to sob. Eason is Max's brother, and he isn't a crossbreed he's just a normal vampire. He's a lot more gentle and kind than Max. "Suzy are you okay? seems like he drained you a lot..." he said. "Ahh...Eason... c-can you b-bring me some...chicken stew..." I said. I was literally stuttering, I was that weak. "Okay Suzy hold up, I'll be right back" he said as he went away.

After a few moments he came back with a bowl in his hand. "Suzy! Here I'll feed you" he said. "Uh...no I can-" he interrupted my sentence by shoving the soup in my face. "Suzy, you're still really very weak. You can't eat by yourself, let me feed you" he said as he continued to feed me. At that exact moment, Max rushed inside my room and called Eason out, he placed the bowl on the side table and went out.

After a while, Max came in. "You let Eason feed you?" he asked. "Y-yes..." I stuttered. Then he took the bowl and offered to feed me. "You won't let your hubby feed you? pouts" he whined. "I-I...blushes" he then continued to feed me, and soon after the bowl was empty.

"Listen Suzy...about what happened today....it was a mistake... I was too impulsive on you I'm so sorry" he apologized. "Max...as long as you're willing to accept me the way I am....I'll be yours..." I said looking down. "I'll make one thing clear, is that I don't love you. My wolf and my inner thirst needs you" he stated. "What...Max, you wouldn't even give me a chance?" I said. "I'm not sure about that....and its pretty late now we should go to sleep" he said.

"Fine..."

The next morning, I got out of bed and couldn't find Max anywhere. I was a bit mad at him for leaving me alone like that since I knew nobody in his house except for Eason. "You hungry?" I heard a female voice calling out to me. "Uh...?" I stuttered awkwardly as always. "Giggles don't worry, I'm Max's sister Molly. Nice to meet you sister in-law." she said. She had a poker shaped face and she had a huge scar on her forehead. I knew where that scar was from. It was from the last war that happened 8 years ago.

"So...can I get some breakfast?" I asked. "Sure" she said. We sat down on the breakfast table and she served me some hot chocolate. "So...what does your brother do most of the time?" I spoke up breaking the awkward silence between us. "Why? Did you two have a harsh night?" she said as she took a sip out of her cup. I can't even describe how dirty she sounded. "Blushes Wha- why would you think like that...looks away" I said awkwardly. "Hahah usually he exercises so he's pretty muscular and strong as you can see, so I thought that he was really harsh on you last night..." she said as she laughed. "We...didn't do anything last night.." I said while blushing because what she asked was way too awkward for me.

We spent the rest of the day chatting. Its been a while since I talked to someone like this. We became best friends right away. I just loved spending time with her, although she pisses me off sometimes, she's still really sweet. Max came back at the evening, we absolutely had no idea on where he went but one thing was for sure, he didn't go to school.

"Where were you all day?" I asked. "Oh, I was at your place all day. I had to talk with your mom and dad, I mean The Alpha, about our relationship" he said as he took off his shirt. I literally lost my sanity when he did that. Honestly, he's has a really good body, a seducing body actually. He had a few scars on his torso and his tan skin was looking gorgeous. And also, I didn't expect him to talk to my family about us.

Since he was really harsh on me the first day, I mean, the way he sucked my blood (we didn't have sex last night I swear) I thought he didn't care about me. But he was actually a gentleman. "Are you done staring at me?" he said bringing me back to reality. "Uh...no..I-I wasn't-" he cut me off by giving me a back hug

"What are you doing...?" I asked nervously. "I can't hug my wife? looks at me" he whined again making me fall for his cuteness. "But we aren't married yet.." I said, "We will marry soon, I have The Alpha's consent. Or should I say...I have my Father in-law's consent?" he said making me blush.

"Um..uh...you go freshen up, I'm gonna go and make some food for you" I said, hoping to escape from his grasp. "What do you mean? You are my food." he said. "blushes uh..." I stuttered awkwardly again. "Hmm I'll go freshen up, make sure that you are ready" he said with a smirk on his face and went to the bathroom

I just stood there, wondering. Will he love me back if I'm good for him? Why is he so nice? Max, I think I'm going crazy. If you behave so nicely with me then...then I'm surely gonna fall for you...
