My Name is Ella Smith, and I'm a new student in Huji University. I have my dorm mate named Sarah, she's very sweet but she always Loved to go out and hang out with different boys. They we're laughing and chatting at the living room while I Focus on my studies, Sarah went to my room to Join them for a scary story, I decline Sarah's offer but she keep telling to join them, so I don't have a choice but to join them too. I left my work, and go to their group with Sarah, James started first...

The title of his scary story is "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?" which is based on the urban legend about a young girl at university who's best friend get's brutally murdered whilst she's getting her things, and she's later stalked by the killer. There is Two dormmates in college were in the same science class. The teacher had just reminded them about the midterm the next day when one dormmate - let's call her Juli - got asked to this big bash by the hottest guy in school. The other dormmate, Meg, had pretty much no interest in going and, being a diligent student, she took notes on what the midterm was about.

After the entire period of flirting with her date, Juli was totally unprepared for her test, while Meg was completely prepared for a major study date with her books.

At the end of the day, Juli spent hours getting ready for the party while Meg started studying. Juli tried to get Meg to go, but she was insistent that she would study and pass the test. The girls were rather close and Juli didn't like leaving Meg alone to be bored while she was out having a blast.

Juli finally gave up, using the excuse that she would cram in homeroom the next day. Juli went to the party and had the time of her life with her date. She headed back to the dorm around 2 a.m. and decided not to wake Meg. She went to bed nervous about the midterm and decided she would wake up early to ask Meg for help. She woke up and went to wake Meg. Meg was lying on her stomach, apparently sound asleep. Juli rolled Meg

over to reveal Meg's terrified face. Juli, concerned, turned on the desk lamp. Meg's study stuff was still open and had blood all over it. Meg had been slaughtered. Juli, in horror, fell to the floor and looked up to see, written on the wall in Meg's blood: "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights!"

Once I heard the story, I got scared and anxiety washes over me, because I'm exactly like Meg, and Sarah was exactly like Juli. the popular urban legend was circulated since 1980. Sarah stands up and calls it for a night, 3 boys left our room and goes back to their own dorm. Sarah Told me she will go to sleep now, and she head to her room. while I was sitting on the sofa, the lights suddenly turned off

I was frightened thinking about what James telling us about the Urban legend... I closed my eyes and praying hoping nothing bad happened to me, luckily my prayers were answered as the lights turned on. as soon I sigh in relief, I heard a loud thud coming from Sarah's room. "Sarah?" I called her from her room, I knocked to her room 3 times but she wasn't answering, I checked the clock and it's already 2 a.m. "wow, I didn't even realize how late it was...." I said,

but I wanted to check Sarah, I was about to knock again but I noticed that the door was unlock, so I open the door. once I open the door, the room was dark and I can't see anything expect Sarah's sleeping peacefully, but her whole body was covered in bed sheet, so I went to her to fix her sheet but... when I removed the sheet on her, I was shouting in fear

Sarah's face were eye widened and she her face seems terrified, I open the lights and saw a blood everywhere, blood on the ceiling, floor, wall and even the bed is covered by her own blood. and my eyes were fixed on the wall which were written by Sarah's Blood. and it's said "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?" I scream as loud as I can and slumped on the floor, I scream and scream that other students who sleep on their dorms wake up, and I keep screaming seeing my bestie is already dead....
