Yesterday I received a letter notifying me that I had been accepted into Royal Bank Academy.
Now on normal circumstances this would be something to celebrate.
I can't do magic properly and if you flunk out of that school then it gives your coven leader the right to decide who you marry.

Today is the ride to Royal Bank. Although it is our local magic academy it's about a day away by bus.
Last night I decided I would head to the bus on my own. Mostly because other members of the coven will be there, and I don't want mom and to see me get bullied and be worried about me the entire time I'm away.
Having me has made mom's life even more difficult than it already was. I made it impossible for her to hide her affair with my father. Ever since people have been treating her horribly.
I reach the bus, and I'm not surprised when everyone on it pauses their conversations and stares at me.
When I reach my seat conversation resumes and some of it about me.
