Walking down the stairs of her home Yuki found her parents in the living room. "Mum, Dad. I loved spending summer break home with you guys but I have to head off back to campus now."

"Yuki, we know. You only had 6 weeks off school.... but do you really have to head back so soon?"

"It's only for another year. I promise to visit when I can."

"In that case.... remember to take your suitcase and this stack of cash."

"Ok. Dad."

Walking out of her house Yuki began to walk to the bus stop. Seeing that the bus had already left without her she then decided to walk to the campus. "Help! Me! Please.... someone.....help"

Stopping in her tracks she began to search for the owner of the voice. Hearing the voice get louder and louder Yuki then stopped at the entrance of a pitch-black stairway, from the look of it one could presume that it was the entrance to the nether world. Shaking in place Yuki began to stutter. "H-Hello? Are-are you down there? The-the one who needs h-help?"

"MEOW!"

Jumping back from the entrance she noticed two black cats beginning to emerge from the black abyss. Watching them jump onto the narrow ledges of the staircase and sit upright increasing the sinister atmosphere of the staircase.

"Help me! Please....Save me!"

Swallowing her fear Yuki then descended the stairs into an unknown world where devils linger. 

Taking the first step down she could hear her self doubt echo though her mind "you're gonna die."

shaking her head she gathered up more courage and began counting each step she took.

one...two...three....

looking back she could still see the two cats sitting on the ledges.

four.....five...six.....

"maybe someone will steal my suitcase?"

seven......eight.....nine

"not possible, it's the latest model that follows the owner."

ten....eleven......twelve.....

the light has began to dim slightly.

thirteen.....fourteen.....fifteen.....sixteen.....

still an entire spiral to descended.

seventeen.....eighteen......nineteen....twenty.....twenty-one....twenty-two.....twenty-three.....

the light has almost faded from view.

twenty-four.......twenty-five.....twenty-six.....twenty-seven.....twenty-eight......twenty-nine......thirty.....

the light from above has completely vanished.

thirty-one......thirty-two.....thirty-three......

pulling out her phone and using the light feature Yuki began to illuminate the next few steps until her battery died.

fifty......fifty-one......fifty-two......fifty three....

slowing down her pace Yuki furiously tapped on her phone trying to keep her only light source active. "please don't die on me now." taking in shallow breaths she watched in disbelief as her phone began to turn off leaving her in complete darkness.

Slowly reaching a hand out to touch the wall to guide her back up the stairs, she let out a defeated sigh. "I'm sorry, I wish I could help but I just can't."

"Help me! Please....Save me!"

hearing the voice again, Yuki gritted her teeth and turned her back away.

Seeing two gigantic red eyes staring her down from the way she came, Yuki lost her footing and fell backwards causing her to black out.

Slowly opening her eyes Yuki saw that she was in a place that resembled a court room, with several strange men looking her way. "where.... am... I?" looking around confused the man in the seat of the chief judge began to speak. "Welcome to the devildom, Yuki." he seemed WAY too cheerful to be in a place like this, stepping backwards Yuki tried to gain some distance between her and this stranger. "...oh, pardon me. Feeling a bit shocked, are we?" giving the stranger a look as if to say 'well who wouldn't be shocked if the last thing you remember was walking down some stairs to try and save someone who may be hurt' "well, that's understandable. You've only just arrived, after all. As a human. It will probably take a little while for you to adjust to things here in the devildom" Keeping silent Yuki then exhaled her breath trying to make sense of what she was just told. "I suppose I should start by introducing myself. My name is Diavolo. I am the ruler of all demons, and all here know of me" looking Diavolo up and down Yuki then sighed "well I'm here and I don't know who you are." ignoring Yuki's comment Diavolo continued his speech "And someday soon, I will be crowned King of the devildom" Taking Yuki outside to the balcony to show her the view of his kingdom Diavolo added "This is the royal academy of Diavolo...though we just call it RAD... since it's rad to be here" guiding Yuki back inside he informed her that the room she was in was the assembly hall, the very heart of RAD. "This is where we officers' of the student council hold our meetings and conduct our business. I'm the president of said council."

"if you are this high and mighty person here then tell me when I can go home, I can't just stand around here forever. I've got school to go to, a family whom love me and friends who'll be worried about my sudden disappearance"

"I will explain everything to you" looking at the person who just said this Yuki saw that he had black hair that parted on the right side of his face and black eyes with an outwards red gradient.

"Yuki, this is Lucifer. He is a demon and the avatar of pride. He's also the vice president of the student council and my right-hand man...and not just in title, I assure you"

"So, he's your....partner? And that means he's gay right?"

Putting an arm around Lucifer Diavolo began to smile "Beyond that. He's also my most trusted friend"

Removing Diavolo's arm off him Lucifer straightened up his uniform "Flattery will get you nowhere, Diavolo" looking at Yuki he continued "Speaking on behalf of the entire student body at this great and storied school of ours...I offer you a most heartfelt welcome. Yuki"

"on behalf of the students? What's this some sort of exchange program? If so then I didn't sign up for this"

"Diavolo believes that we demons should start strengthening our relationship with both the human world and the celestial realm. As a first step towards this goal. We've decided to institute an exchange program"

"like I said I didn't sign up for this, besides if you really are demons then I won't last a day here."

"we've sent two of our students to the human world and two to the celestial realm"

"what about us humans? Were random humans suddenly beamed up into the sky without warning to this Celestial realm?"

"As of today, we're welcoming four students to our school: two from your world and two from the celestial realm. So, I take it you've probably put two and two together at this point, right?"

"Yeah...you and this celestial realm had an arrangement to swap students and in the process kidnap random humans against their will to take part in whatever scheme you have deployed between yourselves."

"You've been chosen from among the people of the human world to participate in this program of ours. YOU ARE OUR NEWEST EXCHANGE STUDENT"

"so, I'm gonna die here...great, just another lamb to the slaughter"

"Your period of stay is one year. You will have to work on the tasks that you will receive from RAD. After one year, you will write a paper about your exchange here in the devildom"

"You Demon! Not only am I forced to stay here for a WHOLE year but now you're gonna make me write an essay on this exchange program that I didn't wanna be a part of to begin with"

Smiling Lucifer chuckled "what do you hope to gain pointing that out to me?"

Glaring at him Yuki scoffed "well I guess compassion from a demon was a push to achieve, but I had to try"

"Don't glare at me like that. It's not like I will abandon you all by yourself here in the devildom. You need someone to look after you, and I think that someone should be my brother Mammon. He's the avatar of greed and... how should I put it...? Oh well, you'll understand soon enough." handing a phone like device to Yuki he continued "this device is called a D.D.D. it's a lot like the cell phones of your world. This will be yours to use for as long as you're here. Now. Go ahead and try calling Mammon with it." going through the contacts list Yuki noticed 13 people already registered to the phone. Asmodeus, Barbotos, Beelzebub, Belphegor, diavolo, Leviathan, Lucifer, Luke, Mammon, Satan, Simeon, Solomon. Clicking on Mammon's name and calling the number he answered. Having Lucifer put the call on loud speaker Yuki heard Mammon's voice for the first time.

"Yooooo"

Hearing his greeting Yuki went with the obvious greeting "hi."

"huh? Who the hell are ya? You ain't Lucifer."

"I'm a human"

"whaaa? A human? Geez, I was getting' all chilly here thinkin' it was lucifer again. Ya should've told me right away. So, what business does a human got with THE mammon?"

"you will be in charge of me from now on"

"no way! There's nothin' in it for me. Whaddya mean by 'be in charge of you'? Ahh! I get it now, you're the other human-the new exchange student! G'luck with that, and see ya."

Seeing that she'd get nowhere with Mammon this way she decided to tell him the main reason why she called "Lucifer called for you"

"pfft, whatever, ya think THE mammon would listen to ya just 'cause you're tryin' to scare me with that name?"

Having the phone taken out of her hand by Lucifer he then demanded Mammon to come to the assembly hall "You've got 10 seconds...9...8"

"Yessir!"  

hearing the call end Yuki received the phone back again. "sounds like you had a nice chat."

"well I don't really know what he's like, to be truly honest I would've preferred you, Lucifer"

"You look even more worried now, huh."

Having Diavolo put his arms around Yuki's shoulders he then rested his head on top of hers and sighed "well, if you were suddenly brought to a strange place and then get told that an unfamiliar face will now take care of you, you'd certainly feel anxious. However, Mammon isn't the only one to help you out." removing his head off Yuki, Diavolo then laughed "Now then...we still need to introduce our new friend to your brothers, Lucifer. And it's probably better that you do that instead of me, wouldn't you say?"

Glancing at his brothers and then back to Diavolo Lucifer gave a doubtful look "Yes...as much as I dread the idea of doing so, you're right."

"oh, come now. Really? You should be honoured that you get to introduce such a sweet and charming little brother like me" looking at a boy with long sweeping bangs of light, caramel-pinkish blond hair and reddish-yellow eyes Yuki gave a slight blush. He was the shortest in the room but no one could deny that he was the most attractive.

"This one here is Asmodeus. He's the fifth eldest. He is the Avatar of lust"

"Wh... I can't believe you just totally ignored what I said! And not only that, you referred to me as this one. How rude!" raising his hand across his chest as if he'd been offended Yuki could see that Asmodeus had nails in the colour of hot pink and lime green, fully manicured and looked after.

"Hmph. At least he didn't ignore you altogether. How do you think I feel?" looking at the impatient brother Yuki could see that he had messy, layered blond hair with green and yellow gradient eyes. It was obvious that he disliked Lucifer from the way his eyes never stopped glaring at his elder brother for one second and it was obvious that Lucifer couldn't care less about his brother's opinion.

"That one there is Satan, the fourth eldest of us. At first glance, he may seem like a responsible demon with a good head on his shoulders, but looks can be deceiving."

"Aha, so I'm that one, am I?" looking at Yuki he then smiled "Nice to meet you, Yuki"

"nice to meet you too"

"To be completely honest I can introduce myself without help from my brother, I am Satan. The avatar of wrath."

Looking confused Yuki then questioned "....Avatar?....The avatar of Wrath?" then looking at Asmodeus she continued "...and the Avatar of lust?" seeing his face light up Asmodeus then winked at Yuki

"That's right! It pretty much sums up what I'm about! Including my power, Let's give a little demonstration! Yuki, could you gaze into my eyes for a moment?" giving a slight worried look Asmodeus then re-assured her "It's okay, I won't hurt you. Come on, don't be shy..."

"I-I'm not shy! It's just....I've never been this close to a boy before...just....just let me breath for a while" taking in a deep breath Yuki then locked her gaze into Asmodeus's "Yes, great! That's perfect! Now, keep your eyes fixed on mine. Just like that...."

Becoming slightly confused by the situation Yuki's gaze began to wonder "was something supposed to happen? Because.... the only thing that's happened is that I'm starting to become very uncomfortable with this situation" bringing Yuki's gaze to meet him once again Asmodeus thought that he saw something in her eyes.

"...wait a minute. There's something about you....hmm..."

"I should probably warn you, Yuki: you'd best be wary of Asmodeus's gaze. He can charm and manipulate people and use them to his own advantage. If you're not careful. He'll charm you. And once you're under his spell. He'll eat you."

Slowly backing away from Asmodeus, Yuki then felt her hand intertwine with his as he pulled her in closer, he then glared at Satan. "Hey, don't go around saying things like that..." looking back at Yuki he then gave a slight smile "Hmm...regardless, my power doesn't seem to work this time for some reason. I wonder why." releasing his grasp on her, Yuki then ran away from him and towards Lucifer.

"Are you done?"

"Lucifer! I don't really like you brothers!"

"i have 4 more to introduce and believe me, I don't very much like them myself at times. Now, the one there with the very grumpy look on his face is Beelzebub. He's the sixth eldest." looking at the tallest person in the room Yuki saw that he had messy, almost spiky orange hair with a purple and pink gradient eye colour. Despite him wearing the same form of uniform as the others you could clearly see his ripped muscles and abs through the fabric almost stretching it to the point that any movement could cause it to rip at the seams, which in Yuki's opinion wouldn't be so bad.

"Lucifer. I'm hungry"

"That's too bad. Now behave yourself"

"I'm Beelzebub, the avatar of gluttony" looking at his sad face Yuki then gave a worried look as if to say that she could understand his feeling of hunger and that if she could do something then and there she would have.

"So... There are seven of us brothers in all, and I am the eldest. Mammon, the second oldest of us, will be here soon. My other brothers aren't here at the moment, but...well, we can get to them later. All in good time"

"During your stay in the devildom, the seven brothers will lend you their strength. To keep you safe. You are to stay with them at the house of lamentation."

"To keep me safe?" looking at Asmodeus he was closely monitoring Yuki's every move; Satan was still glaring harshly at Lucifer and Beelzebub was eyeing Yuki up as some kind of meal. "yeah....I don't think that keeping me in a house with these demons would keep me safe"

"don't worry Yuki, we won't hurt you, I'll make sure that my brothers keep their hands off you besides, most agree with Diavolo, but that doesn't mean that there aren't vulgar demons out there who wouldn't harm you. If anything were to happen to you, it would be our responsibility. And I won't betray Diavolo's expectations. So, I will do everything in my power to make sure you survive your stay down here in the devildom. Although we will all be living together, you should still have the means to reach us at any given time. All of our phone numbers are already in there, and your D.D.D. also has a messaging app."

"I'll go ahead and send you a message!" within seconds Yuki's D.D.D began to flash like crazy, seeing that she received a message from everyone in the room she began to smile until Satan chimed in "Isn't that nice. Yuki. Now you will be friends with the future king of the devildom!"

"...I'm not sure whether that was sarcasm towards me or just an attempt to try and get Lucifer to notice you Satan"
