Magna was the dearest son of his parents who were the greatest dark magic users of their time. They were very good people and put their magic to use for only good purposes, but yet people always resented and fear them so much that unless it was a matter of urgency, no one would dare walk past the street of their house. Magna's mother was a power witch and physician to the extent that she could almost raise one from the dead. While his father was a powerful demon who left hell to start up a family on earth with the woman he fell in love with, which was Magna's mom. But before he could leave hell, he had to trade his immortality for mortality and his powers for that of a mere wizard, but he was still as powerful as ever.

When Magna was five years old his father took him for hunting to have a father son bond. On their way back to the house, they sighted their house on fire. Magna's father ran with all his might to check what was happening. And as he came closer, he could hear the agonizing scream of his beloved wife and he saw the people of the city with torches and forks standing by and cheering on. He pushed them away and forced his way into his house to save her, but it was too late as he saw her already burnt body on the floor.

He got so mad and immediately released and outburst of flames, and it consumed the people around his house. The matter got to the king of the city and immediately deployed soldiers called witch hunters to capture Magna's father. But before they got to the house, Magna's father had already taken Magna and was on the run. He knew he could not outrun the soldiers on chariots, and even if he could fight them, a hundred of them were too much, and they were well trained and equipped with gadgets to bring down even someone like him so he conducted a ritual and placed a curse on his son that his emotions will bring out his darkest powers and he would be the link that would release hell upon the world of man and burn the world to ground. After he was done with the ritual, he hid his son somewhere safe in the woods, and chose to fight off the soldiers, he did his best, but the overcame him and gave him a painful and slow death that they enjoyed and all this while the innocent five year old boy was watching the agonizing pain of his father as he drew his last breath and whispered "Bring me back"

****Ten years later****

"School is just so boring today, I wish there some way I could escape class today" said Magna as the teacher was teaching history.

Magna closed his eyes to get some sleep since he had been kept awake last night due to repeated nightmare of the day he lost everything
